JDeveloper 11.1.2.3: Where is ANT plugin?

I am reviewing this tutorial:
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/articles/adf/part4-098813.html
I do not see the JDevLibsForAnt extension. Is there still support to create the build.xml file directly from an existing ADF project?
Thanks,
Wes

Wes, you can create an ant build file directly Vida the file new dialog. There you select the ant node and then select build file from project.
The old extension is not maintained any longer.

  • Ant plugin for eclipse

    Hi,
    how can I install the ant plugin for eclipse? Yesterday I installed apache-ant, eclipse was already installed before. But eclipse looks the same as before, there are no ant features. So I've taken a look at the files of the ant package - it seems that the eclipse plugin is not included.
    Is there an "arch-way" to install the plugin?
    Thorsten

    have you tried to create a "Simple/File" named "build.xml" in your project directory ? Eclipse should recognize build.xml as an ant file, and give you a nice editor for it...
    I have the following packages:
    'ls /opt/eclipse/plugins |grep ant'
    org.apache.ant_1.6.5
    org.eclipse.ant.core_3.1.0.jar
    org.eclipse.ant.ui_3.1.0.jar
    and thats how it works for me...
    I also have the option of an ant view
    "Windows=>Show view=>Ant"

  • When upgrade from an older firefox version where an existing plugin was ready enabled, would this plugin become "ask to activate" after upgrade to v26?

    What's the user experience if he/she upgrade from an older version of Firefox, where an existing plugin was ready enabled, would this plugin become "ask to activate" after the user upgrade to Firefox v26?

    If plugins.click_to_play was set to true, it might. I am finding that click-to-play is not working very well with Firefox. Whether the plugins are set to Always Activate or Ask to Activate, it allows everything from a website to load once it is allowed from the icon in the address bar. I also have the extension Click to play per-element, and that seems to make no difference.

  • Wsdd-merge to merge web-services.xml where is Ant Task

    Can anyone tell me the the java class for the <wsdd-merge> ant target, I am using
    Ant 1.6.1 and need to add the taskdef e.g.:-
    <taskdef name="wsdd-merge" classname="???/" />
    many thanks.

    Bruce,
    thanks for replying, I have multiple web services to merge into a compound web-services.xml.
    I originally tried
    <source2wsdd> with the option mergeWithExistingWS="true" , but found this didn't
    work. I noticed in the examples 'Multiple Web Services in one war' at http://manojc.com/?sample12
    that instead of using the merge option :-
    <move file="${output_dir}/WEB-INF/web-services.xml"
    tofile="${output_dir}/WEB-INF/web-services2.xml" />
    <wsdd-merge targetDD="${output_dir}/WEB-INF/web-services.xml" >
    <filelist dir="${output_dir}/WEB-INF/"
    files="web-services1.xml, web-services2.xml" />
    </wsdd-merge>
    So I was trying to do this. However I have now found that CR128214 has patched
    the original mergeWithExistingWS not working problem, and should be in WL8.1 sp3
    cheers.

    The latest JDeveloper I can find for Linux seems to be 10.1.3.0. All the rest of the downloads, via the pages, keep taking me to a Windows download. • Where did 'InDesign Plugin Editor' move?

    Hi Forum,
    There are some topics talking about a PluginEditor available to download: http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/InDesign_Plug-in_Editor. Is it completely removed from the lab's site? Does anybody have a good starting pont for a new server based plugin development? E.g. what-how to install for an InDesign Server Plugin development? I want to create a plugin to use its functionality via web users E.g. drag and drop an image into an own template where I can check the content of the picture's type,resolution,CYMK,RGB...
    Thanx in advice,
    ;-D

    Start with a google search for *add to itunes contextual menu* and *send via mail contextual menu*. That should lead you to solutions.

  • Where is java plugin

    My wife updated her Java last week. Since then she has not been able to get on to her netbank. I checked all four of her browsers (firefox, safari, opera, chrome) and none of them are showing a plug in for java. The closes thing that I can see is something called "java mini program", which is in Firefox.
    Her netbank connection worked fine until the update. Where can we find the java (applet?) plugin for OS 10.6.8?
    I should mention I have the same computer with the same OS. Mine works. The only difference I can find is that her Java version is 1.6.0_65. Mine is an older version.

    Hi,
    thanks for posting such a 'simple' solution.
    My netbank has been showing 'Inactive plugin' for a week, and I was unable to find any solution.
    Now is back and running.
    The difference, though, is that I did not run any update before it died... but who cares now!
    Thanks again,
    J.

  • Tell firefox where to find plugins

    Is there a way to specifically tell Firefox where it plugins are?
    OpenSuse 11.4, Firefox 3.6, the flashplayer plugin does not show in the list of plugins so can;t play flash videos. I have downloaded the latest libflashplayer.so and put it in every "plugins" folder that I can find for Firefox or Mozilla and Firefox still can't seem to find it.
    Is there and entry I can put in about:config to tell it the specific path to find it's plugins?

    Ok, I was not very successful with that question. Anyway, I found the answer. You just have to select the application (one click), then right-click on it to see a menu. Then select "See package content", and another Finder window appears, and you just have to make your way down until you find a folder called 'Plugins'.
    Thanks the MacGenius at the Apple store in Walnut Creek for giving me the answer.

  • Where to get plugins?

    Please let me know where to get SQL Server 2000 plugin?? I spent an hour trying to find it to no avail.
    I appreciate your help.

    Hi,
    The SQL Server 2000 plugin, along with all our other plugins, can be downloaded from OTN in the same location as the core Oracle Migration Workbench download:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/migration/workbench/index.html
    Please refer to step 3 - Download the Plug-in for the Database You Want to Migrate, and select the Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Plug-in download link to begin downloading the plugin.
    I hope this helps.

  • Where are iPhoto plugins located in Lion?

    I need to remove an iPhoto plugin, but I can't find it in Lion.
    I've looked in ~/Library/Application Support, but there is no iPhoto folder. And right clicking on the iPhoto application and showing contents doesn't reveal the plugin I'm looking for. Where did Lion put it?

    Lion didn't put it anywhere, the installer on the plug-in did. So, ask the makers of it.

  • Where is native plugin for WEBROOT

    I want WEBROOT Plugin for Firefox but can not find it. I had it, now its disappeared and I can not find it to re-install it. How can I nstall the plugin for Webroot's password manager in Firefox? Was this intentionally eliminated from the latest update?

    I do not appreciate this reply. First off, this plugin worked just fine until the latest update of Firefox, so its not the fault of the provider of the plugin. Secondly, Firefox no longer includes that plugin on the list where it always was before, that is not the fault of the program provider its the fault of Mozilla. Thirdly, its not a bug fix, for this to happen the way it did Mozilla had to have made a decision to remove all support for this so it IS the problem of Firefox. To put it another way, this ending of Webroot must have been ON PURPOSE BY FIREFOX. SOMEBODY DECIDED TO ELIMINATE WEBROOT.
    AND I did contact the provider and they said to use the native plugin and I can not find it so I asked, where is it now? How do I try?
    The folks at Webroot have, so far, been unable to help me.
    So this answer to my inquiry was extremely out of line and was not at all useful, and even enters into the unbearably stupid. So, thanks for nothing. I want to know why Firefox removed this plugin. Its still got Lastpass but Webroot, a competitor, has been removed. Do not tell me this is anything but money based. And as a paying contributor, at least up until today, that is truly bothersome. Ciao' for now folks.

  • Where is my plugins folder ?

    I am trying to follow this instruction:
    *Copy the ‘Alex4D Move 1.01.fcfcc’ file into*
    *Your Startup HD/Users/your name/Library/Application Support/Final Cut Express Support/Plugins for Final Cut Express users*
    *Restart Final Cut, and you’ll see the generator in the ‘Animate’ section of ‘Video Generators’*
    But after I navigate upto Application Support, I cannot find the Final Cut Express Support folder, so where do I copy my plugins to ?
    How come I do not have the Final Cut Express Support folder ?
    Thanks

  • Where are the plugins?

    I'm trying to get Real/WMP to play on my MacBook.
    I installed both. When I look for them with Safari>Help>Installed Plugins they are not there.
    But when I search for the plugins in HD/Library/Internet Plug-Ins they are there!
    Where does Safari expect plug ins to reside?

    I don't own an Intel Mac but I've read that Rosetta
    (non Universal) is enabled in the same "Get Info"
    window.
    Highlight (single click) on the Safari app icon and
    Command-i to open the Get Info window.
    No such option on these plugins. Different info from what you see on a .app!
