Jdeveloper IDE bug with Soa 11g PS1 ejb adapter with uri and jndiName

Hi,
When you use the EJB adapter as a reference in Soa suite 11g PS1 and you provide the jndiname then jdev put its wrong in the binding.ejb and use the uri attribute instead of jndiName

if you dont correct this in the composite xml you got errors in Soa suite and the ejb adapter does not work

Can you tell me whether OEM 10.2.0.5 and OIM 10.1.4.2 is certified with SOA 11.1.1.x, if not do we need to install/upgrade OEM and OIM to 11.1.1.x

I got the answer,
1. OEM 10.2.0.5 is not being certified with SOA 11g, but OEM 11g has been certiified with SOA 11g.....Reference Metalink Note: 412431.1

ODI: Is ODI 10g compatible with SOA 11g ?

hi all,
I have a requirement where ODI should invoke web services in SOA 11g fusion middleware.
Is it required that i use ODI 11g?
Or is ODI 10g compatible working with SOA 11g.
In case if i have to use ODI 10g to invoke webservices in SOA 11g den do i have to follow any other different procedure?

Jdeveloper compatability with SOA 11g

Hi
Is it manadatory to use Jdeveloper 11g for our development when using SOA 11g?
The problem is that I tried to install Jdeveloper 11g, then it is coming by default with Jdeveloper Studio, ADF, weblogic server.
If I go for custom installation and I select only Jdeveloper Studio, it is automatically selecting weblogic serve also. I don't want to install weblogic server again.
Could anybody tell me?

This document is useful. I installed Jdeveloper without Weblogic installation. I have to sellect existing Middleware Home for installing this.Then it is not prompting for installing weblogic.

SOA 11g how to create a username and password in the Credential Store (CSF)

Hi,
I have SOA 11g Installed wanted to find out how can I create a user name and password in the Credential Store (CSF). I see in the documentation saying A credential can be created in the CSF in one of two ways: through Fusion Middleware Control or through WebLogic Server Scripting Tool (WLST). I am trying to create a BPEL Connection in Oracle IPM. Can someone please let me know how exactly can I create this. Any help is appreciated.

I get this problem on a dual processor system, but I think it's
got to do with a dodgy/incompatible grpahics card. Sometimes I
start JBuilder up and the JDeveloper client area horizontally
stripes wierdly, I play around for a few minutes, get rid of the
striping by resetting the the screen res etc, then
JBuilder freezes. Sometimes it freezes without striping. I don't
necessarily put this down to JDeveloper alone, I also crash (but
no striping) with Dreamweaver sometimes, however I run IBM VIsual
Age and a variety of other apps with no problem. So it probably
is a bug with grpahics handling I think, or incorrect handling of
a grpahics exception.

Macbook pro(2008 later) can not recognise external monitor(NEC UXI2090) with mini-DP to DVI adapter with 9600GT

I bought mini-DP to DVI frome Apple several monthes ago and it worked well in that time until yesterday the external monitor show me no signal sign. Other PCs were connected with the same cable and monitor and they are fine. I am wondering there is something wrong in the adaptor or macbook pro. Furthermore I found the external monitor can display nornally when I switched to 9400 graphic card and used mini-DP to VGA adapter. If I switch to 9600GT no signal again. If I switch 9400 using mini-DVI, it is shown on the external screening: Out of range... In a word, In the mode of 9600GT, mac can not recognise external monitor(I can not detect it in the systerm preference even I press detect display buttun) and 9400 works in VGA mode. However when I connect adapter to mac, the screen showed blue flash.
I reseted SMC, no use; I created a new account or enter mac to safe mode, no use; so far I did not reseted PRAM beacuse of something wrong of my system. I am downlaoding Mountain Lion OS and will install it. Then I will reset PRAM and try again.
I do not know whether I shoud change the adapter or the single-link DVI cable to dual-link. Someone said it is useful in their condition. I tried some methods from BBS, such as connected when devices were off and then open, and so on. I failed.
Any suggestion for this problem?

I turns out that the logic board of my MacBook Pro was faulty (despite being brand new).
I took it to the Apple Store, presented the problem, and one of the Tech's came to the same conclusion that I had -- hardware failure. Phone support was no help in the matter (and even told me that what I was trying to do wasn't a supported option, which is rediculous). However, the Genius Bar did take care of the problem, and my MacBook Pro was back to me with a replaced logic board within a few days.

Deployment issue with SOA - OSB 11g environment

We have Dev Environment configured with SOA 11g (11.1.1.4) and OSB 11g (11.1.1.4) on a single weblogic domain. Developed SOA composite app and deployed to the SOA Server. We are exposing our SOA Composite thru OSB ( created osb proxy and business services and accessed soa composite from the client. It s working fine ) layer for the client to access it. The issue here is while deploying it to the production environment (configured OSB and SOA in two separate WL domain) located offshore.
What i saw from the soa doc is that we need to deploy SOA composite to the SOA Server and OSB Configuration to the OSB Server.
but the offshore person is asking us to deploy both SOA composite & osb to the same OSB Server as an .ear file.
Is it possible to deploy both SOA composite & osb to the same osb server ? is there any document on project that involve both soa and osb.
please guide me how to do the deployment

Issue with Oracle SOA 11g

Hi friends, I am new in BPEL development an i have some problem with SOA.
When ApprovalTask initialize data(RequesterDetails and BenefeciaryDetails) and Manager of User who initialized in status NOT Active, then soa log output next error:

The issue could have several different kind of causes. They all are likely due to a configuration issue.

Oracle Application adapters in SOA 11g

Can any one please provide me the path where we can download application adapters(Siebel, peoplesoft)?
Is that compatible with Soa 11g?
If not how to work around in SOA 10g?

Invoke soa 11g process from java

I want to invoke soa 11g process from java.
I got reference from following link, but the metioned jar files are not present in the soa suite. could you please let me know if I am using the correct version of soa suite.

files required :

I am getting following exception when calling from standalone java class from Jdeveloper.

Set dynamic authentication credentials to Partner link - BPEL 11g PS1

Hi,
I am working on BPEL SOA 11g PS1. I need to know how i can dynamically set the Authentication details (Username and password) as well as Timeout while invoking a web service reference.
I have been successful in setting these values using properties of the partner-link which is static.But actually as per my use-case, i need to read these information dynamically from a repository say Database/DVM and set these value while invoking.

Here you can find property value for oracle.webservices.auth.username,oracle.webservices.auth.password & oracle.webservices.httpReadTimeout are static , What i want to make here is to read these from a bpel variable in runtime.

SOA 11g Validate activity

Hi,
I am using validate activity in Bpel 2.0 to validate my input schema. The problem I am facing with validate activity is it's only validating first element in the schema and send fault message,
I want to validate all elements in payload at one time. I also tried mediator level validation but had same issue.

SOA Suite 11g does not fully support REST services, though you can
enable composites to accept messages in REST format through their ports.
I presume that you would further ask if SOA 11g can consume JSON enabled
REST services. The answer is that it can not natively, i.e. you would
have to use custom Java code to do the JSON <-> XML translations.
A few workarounds that I would consider:
- using the Oracle Cloud Adapter for Salesforce.com that works
with SOA 11g. As this integration is productized it worths further
analyzes if it would fit in your case (especially financial wise as it
requires explicit licensing);
- using OSB with Java callouts to consume/generate JSON messages.
Then you can have the composite applications calling the OSB or vice
versa. A good example of this can be found here -

For implementation workarounds you can do some google-ing to find examples.
