JHeadstart cannot handle Faces access to ClobDomain

JHeadstart's generated application from the default definition stack dumps the internal OC4J server with the stack trace (in part) below. The ADF AppModule works fine when executed using the ADF test application.
The ADF module contains only one view defined against a database view which presents denormalized rendition of data from many tables, each record of which contains 32 attributes: 26 simple attributes, 1 clob field, and 5 user-defined collection types whose elements are user-defined object types. If the CLOB attribute is removed from the JHeadstart definition, the generated application executes successfully. (Using JDeveloper 10.1.3.1.0 and the .95 release of JHeadstart demo).

Looking at your stack trace, I think you are using fileDownload as the display type, correct?
I just tried to run a page with a ClobDomain item displayed as file download and I get a similar error. This is a bug in JHeadstart (still in 10.1.3.1) that we will fix with the next service update.
For now, the work around is to use display type "textInput", which will show the content of the Clob item directly on the page.

Ah thanks, I didn't know there was a difference. The machine with Arch on it is a few years old. Do you think it's the motherboard or the actual card slot that cannot handle SDHC?

Multitasking cannot handle more than 3-4 apps. If you open more, the app just wont launch! I hope there would be a fix for this since it is very annoyoing.

Just tested it again. You are right. we can open many apps as long as they are non blackberry bridge apps. The problem seems to be with the blackberry bridge apps opening simultaneously with other apps.
try to open 3 or 4 non bridge apps, then try to open any of the bridge app (contacts or bbm or other...). It just wont open. If it does open, it starts flickering and becomes unusable.
Also, if you try to open more than 3 bridge apps, you will most often have problems.
I tried this on more than one PB. Same thing.

Best way to handle user access levels with spring.

I'm a spring newb, and I'm not sure how to properly handle user access levels with a validation controller. There seems to be a lot of information out there about creating simple login validators but like I've said I need to create multiple levels of user access. I could throw something together but i want to do it correctly. Does anyone here have any links to resources or information they could provide?

SAP BO Data Services XI 3.2 - Cannot Handle Multithreaded RFC Connection?

Hi Guys,
Just want to ask for your inputs if Data Services cannot handle multiple RFC connection request to BW system?
The scenario is:
There is one BODI job using RFC connection and trigger the 2nd job at the same time and it happen that the 2nd job failed.
Current version of SAP BO Data Services XI 3.2 that we are using is 12.2.2.1

One way to get to the multiprovider data is to use Open Hub with a DTP that gets the data from the multiprovider and exposes it as an open hub destination to Data Services. With Data Services XI 3.2 we now fully support Open Hub where Data Services will (1) start the process chain to load the data (2) read the data when process chain ended and (3) notify Open Hub when done so that the data can be purged again.

But I will also look into the why we show the multiproviders when browsing the metadata, but get an error when trying to extract using the ABAP method (not via Open Hub). You could be right in your assumptions below and we might just need to hide the multiproviders when browsing metadata.

Do you see any exception on the server side ? May be endpoint is throwing some exception. If you use JAX-WS 2.1 the error diagnostics are much better.

Cannot remove the access control entry object on the object because the ACE isn't present

I am very new to using Powershell and Exchange Management Shell, and have no prior experience using either of these tools. However, the software I am installing requires me to use the EMS tool in order to set certain permissions for a user in Exchange, which
will be like the admin account.
The command I am attempting to run follows as:
Get-ExchangeServer | Remove-ADPermission -User $newusername -Deny -ExtendedRights Receive-As -Confirm:$False
This throws me an error saying:
cannot remove the access control entry on the object because the ACE isn't present. I've done some research, and have found that this error is quite common, but the solutions do not apply to what I am specifically trying to accomplish. I am simply trying
to remove the Receive-As permission for the admin user that I just created.
Once again, I am very new to Exchange and Powershell, but if there is any advice anyone has, it would greatly appreciated.

I ran this command, and a very long list was displayed, it looks like everything is there.
The weird thing is that I was able to run a previous command which granted Receive-As access to the user I am creating:

Symptom:
An end-user cannot play Adobe Access protected content. The client application returns a persistent 3321 (Individualization Error) or 3322 (Device Binding Failure) error code.
Root Cause in Chrome Browser:
Adobe Access DRM must create a unique machine identifier (I.e. "token") to identify the the device. This token is provided to the Adobe Access license server during a license request to view DRM protected content. If Chrome Browser disables the ability for Adobe Access DRM to create a unique machine identifier, playback of Protected Content will fail with a 3321 or 3322 error code. By default, this setting is enabled and available to toggle in Chrome Browser version 30 and higher. Unchecking this option will prevent Adobe Access DRM from properly functioning. A 3321 or 3322 error that persists after a call to resetDRMVouchers is an indicator that this setting may need to be changed.
Resolution:
In your Chrome settings:
•             Click on "Show advanced settings…"
•             In the subsequent "Privacy" section, click on "Content settings…"
•             In the subsequent "Protected Content" section, make sure that the following box is checked "Allow identifiers for protected content (computer restart may be required)".
We are working with Google to allow better detection of this condition, so that the client will return a 3368 (User cancelled or user settings disallow operation) error code when the box is unchecked.

ORACLE PM - cannot handle attribute href - SOAP style encoded

I think the SOAP documentstyle from the webservices use rpc style and encoded, that is why the axis is change the normal XML structure to the structure above with links.
But I think the ORACLE Process Manager can only handle SOAP style="document" and use="literal" ???????

I have a bug logged against this issue, bug # is 5990259. However, the service I was calling is no longer available, so development can't reproduce it... If you gave them your example as well maybe they could progress this bug? Anyway BPEL does work with RPC/Encoded, it just doesn't like those multi refs. The company we were interacting with was using WebObjects, which was behaving exactly as in your example, and they changed an option on the web service to get rid of the multi refs and it worked (was still RPC/Encoded).

Why I cannot modify the access permissions?

On the Fedora8 OS I issue the follow command:
[root@localhost local]#chmod o-r /usr/local
[root@localhost ~]#chmod o+w /root/rar
Then I check the privilege using GUI tool and I find the access permissions have not been changed.
Why I cannot modify the access permissions as a root user?

1) Is the underlying file system mounted as read-only? Not even root can overcome that.
2) Perhaps the file has been marked as "immutable" by chattr(1)? What does
# lsattr -d /usr/local/ /root/rar
show? Without attributes, should see only dashes ("-").

PopUp User&Pass / URL iViews / Portal cannot handle this?!

Hi There,
i`ve created some URL iViews and other iViews to Pages (Urls etc) that needs Authentification via User and Password.
So the PopUp comes up for User and Pass.. but when i enter the Data and click ok the PopUp comes up again and again... after 3 times i become the Message that the Page cannot be displayed etc...
When i open the URL in the Browser and put in User and Pass all works fine.
Only from Iviews from the Portal it works not.. it seems that the Portal cannot handle this?!?
Can someone help here?
