JMS message from one application to the another appl in the same container?

I have a question.
Can I send JMS message from one application to the another application in the same container?
If yes ...can you provide me info.
I want to know in regards of EJB2.0 and EJB3.0.

So the receiver application is a Message Driven Bean, right?
In your container, do you have a mean to ensure that it is correctly configured to listen the desired destination? Like an administrative console that would show the destinations, the number of pending messages, the number of active consummers...?
btw what is the destination type? A queue or a topic?

Sending a jms message from one server to another in a cluster fails..

Hi,
          My platform is wl6.1 sp7 two servers in a cluster...
          I have problems sending jms messages from one server to the other. When sending to a destination on the same server it works fine, but sending to the other server do not work. I get no exceptions when I send the message. The "Monitor all Active JMS Destinations..."->"Messages Received" column increase number of received messages for the remote server. But the onMessage method in the bean is not called(I am logging all calls to a file...)
          Any suggestions?
          And..
          My understanding is that the JNDINameReplicated default value is set to true? But when I don't set this value to true the jndi name is not replicated too the other server.
          (The state for both servers are Running in the admin console and listed servers in the cluster is 2....

Mail sorting messages from different people in the same thread?

I have this weird issue. It's happened before but I figured I might be able to figure this out.
I got a response from somebody this morning and whats happening is, when I click on his response, the email shows up on the right like it should. However, ths email is from "Floyd" and shows as email "2". It shows another email below it in the "thread" from "Taryn" and has absolutely nothing to do with this email. The only similarities are the subject line which says "Poster". The "First" email from Taryn is from April. It seams as if it's sorting the emails by subject line. I don't want emails from different people in the same thread. Any thoughts on how to fix this issue? Image attached.

This question is about the same as mine. I migrated all my data from old mac mini to new mac mini. System screwed up and permission and owners were not setup. Now I'm trying to salvage this mess. I'm also trying to import mail, which I think should be on the computer but I don't know where.

I have 2 email accounts set up. I can now get new messages from one but not the other one.

I followed the steps outlined in a previous message. I have a Yahoo Small Business Account. I think all of the settings are correct. I can't see any new messages on one of the accounts. One message from 7-20-14 keeps coming up over and over.
When I press Get mail, I see "downloading message 1 of 55 to [email protected], but then it changes to "nothing to download".
Can you help me retrieve my messages from the last 3 days? Thank you.

I think you will find an anti virus program is causing the issue here. They often go a bit nuts when Thunderbirds version number changes.
Try changing the settings to disable email scanning in your anti virus.

Moving bpel instances from one application server to another

Is it possible to move bpel instances from one server to another?
We use SOA Suite 10.1.3. The idea is:
1. shutdown the appserver
2. make a dump of the dehydration store (bpel schema, ...)
3. import the dump in the new environment
4. startup the the "new" SOA Suite
The question is: Are there any hard coded references (e.g. OAS url) within the
SOA database schema?

Can I print to more than one printer from one Mac - at the same time?

Hi,
I'd like to set up a few printers in order to handle large jobs occasionally. But the print jobs are going to be coming from InDesign which I have on only one of the Macs. Can I do either of these...?
a) connect more than one printer to a USB hub and send one print job to each of them so they print more or less simultaneously?
...or...
b) connect one printer to each of my 3 other office Macs and send a print job to each of them (via Printer Sharing) from the Mac with InDesign on it, as well as sending a print job to a printer connected directly to that Mac?
I'd hate to have to spring for 3 more licenses for InDesign just to print faster!

Item A won't work.
B will work but there will need to be a fair amount of manual involvement.
For example, if you have one file and need multiple copies, and were looking to have each printer printing the same pages simultaneously (load balancing), then you would have to send a print job to each printer (one locally and one to each of the shared printers). There is no provision in OS X to print the file once and have it print on four machines simultaneously. There may well be third-party applications that can do this (there are several for Windows), but OS X client doesn't have this feature out-of-the-box.
I also believe that the 'classes' facility in CUPS (aka print pooling in OS X Server) cannot do load balancing, as it is designed to send the spool file to the first available printer - not every printer in the pool. However, with printer pools, when the first printer is busy printing the next printer would receive the job when you hit the print button again. It is important that the pool consists of the same printers, otherwise you would get variation in the output.
With regards to the three additional licenses, you could print the ID file to pdf, and then the other Mac's could print the pdf...

Delete messages from PI so that the same message ID can be sent to PI sever

Hi Experts,
for the automation of tsting on PI it would be great, if I could send messages with the same message IDs several times to PI.
I know, a message ID that allready exists cannot be send again. Therefore I am looking for a way to delete messgaes in such a way that sending of messages with the same ID is possible again.
Do you have any suggestions?

I don't know if you have any control over message ID, but I can tell you at least one table where the message ID info is stored -- sap<SID>db.xi_af_msg. SAP may not store all parts of message in a single table. You have to find the rest of them and delete the entries pertaining to the Message ID that you want want to clear up.
The best way to find that out may be is to suspend all communication channels but one. Send a message across and see what tables are updated.
I hope you are doing this on a sandbox. Do share your results.

Since everything in Java is an object, the easy trick would be to make the class containing your main() as singleton.
But of course, it can be easily fooled (by installing your application to separated sandboxes - e.g. in Windows you open two DOS screens, in which you set a different classpath and you have no chance to catch it, or you can even use different machines - how would you expect to catch that ... client/server with only one client?)
If you look on the market the attempts like 'eating a licence' everytime an application is installed all failed. It's always more-or-less based on trust between vendor and customer.

Can you transfer music from one app to the same app on a different device?

I have an app called HCO playlist and it lets you download the current playlist and as the playlist changes you cant redownload the previous playlist but you keep the songs you downloaded and on my iPod 4th gen. I was wodering if there was anyway if i could transfer the songs from the app on my iPod to the same app on my iPad mini.

Only if that app allows that option. There is nothing natively on the iPod to do that.

I have two computer terminals. One is connected to internet. THen I have another with an internal network set-up, not connected to internet. Thunderbird installed on both. I download emails on the internet computer, export the messages on a USB stick and import them in my Thunderbird in the other computer. Answer the emails, then export from the outbox and them import to the outbox on my internet computer in Thunderbird. This has worked fine up to now, but since some days I can't send the emails after having imported them in my outbox. I have to reopen each email and send it, and then it goes. But I can't just click send and it sends all one after one. what happens is it processes the email for about a minute and then gives an error message. On each email. What to do?

The copying is for security reasons, I want to be able to keep email comm on an internal server that can't be accessed through internet.
The error message I get is: "Sending of message failed.
The message could not be sent because the connection to SMTP server timed out. Try again or contact your network administrator."
It worked some days ago so I don't understand what's different now.

Can you pass parameters from one application component to another?

I want to have a page of portlets showing applications components (small forms, reports etc) with co-ordinated information.
That is, I want the user to enter a single criterion in a portlet and then I want all the portlets to respond by querying the results for that single criterion.
I'm building an interface for a system based on normalized tables with many-to-many relationships and therefore intersecting-entities.
(I looked at master-detail forms under webdb, so I don't think they'll do the job. I have data from about 6 tables that I want co-ordinated.)
Links also don't seem to be what I want, because I don't want extra clicks or one portlet to be replaced by another.
I've seen the Parameter Passing example, and that is the sort of coordination I'd like. In fact that's what gave me the idea. But that is based on custom database portlets, whereas I really want to use Portal forms and reports.
Is this possible?

Check the property of alert for that web application using STSADM. If it is not enable then enable it.
