Hello,
I recommend not the xmlpull jar file, but the xpp3-*.jar file found with your Enterprise installation.  It's in the "external" subfolder where you got your other Enterprise jar files.
You'll have to remove the xmlpull jar, since they'd version conflict.
Sincerely,
Ted Ueda

I've tried the solutions mentioned in the other similar thread: Failed to create Salience object but this doesnt solve the issue since the directory and variables were already correct.
    Anyone can help?

Given that you are running this in Clover Server, one thing I can recommend is to shut that server down, move/truncate the logs, restart and retest, then look at the first error message you get when attempting to run the graph.  Java classloaders sometimes cache failed class clinit and report future attempts to load that class as a simple NoClassDefFoundError, masking the original/actual root cause.  With any luck you might find another, clearer error - maybe the native binary libraries are not being located.

  • Windows XP and java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: Console

Our company is currently using a web page to launch a java applet that redirect the user to an application server to demo our product. This has been and still is working fine for all Windows version until XP. And depending on which version of XP, sometimes it will work and sometime it won't. The link to the web site to launch the applet is http://www.aasys.com/gs_java/iejava.htm if you wish to test it.
It should take you to a screen asking for a security code which we would provide to our customers. If you get this far it is working.
    Any suggestion would be helpful.
    Thanks.

Your first option we are currently looking at but have not tested it yet. We would prefer the end user not to have to do this, but they may have to in the end.
Your second option seems the best route to go and we may be able to get the source code from our vendor. Once this is compiled under 1.4.2 will it still be compatable with the older version of MS JVM or will our users need to download the current Java plugin? Since this the way that Java is proceeding this will most likely work for everyone.
    Thanks.

  • "This drive is not ready for use; it's door may be open ..."

    Hi.
I recently updated to itunes 7, and then had an issue with a corrupt file on the i-pod (which resulted in chkdsk hanging itself at 27%, always). So I restored the i-pod and that took care of that - chkdsk now says it's fine.
However - it is also empty. My machine and i-tunes recognize it fine upon start-up; however, a short while into a full synch to get my library back on the i-pod, I invariably get the following error message:
"The drive is not ready for use; it's door may be open. Please check drive \Device\Harddisk\DR 3 and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed." The message comes with the options "cancel, ignore and continue", yet the latter two don't make a difference, and even if I choose cancel, itunes keeps trying until it eventually crashes.
This always happens after itunes has synchronized about 1.13 GB (out of 18.55 available).
As far as I can tell, both my system and the iPod are up to date (itunes and windows update say so, anyway). E: is unequivocally and exclusively allocated to the i-pod; changing the settings from "optimize for quick removal" to "optimize for performance" has made no discernible difference.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks.

    Hullo ...
let me follow up on this again. I've followed your advice, de-installed spybot, no change. I looked through the windows support help base, nothing. While trying out different things, I started getting a "delayed write failed" message, and I did some things they suggested (including adjusting the registry - me, adjusting the registry!)and it went away, and now all I get is the "open door" message again.
That is: everything works absolutely fine, I plug in the i-pod (latest version i-tunes and i-pod is up to date), it's recognized instantly by the explorer as well as i-tunes. I've run all scans you can possibly run on it, and it is fine (no corrupt files, nothing). I've restored it twice through i-tunes, twice through the explorer. I've changed the drive letter.
It starts the synch fine (it's still almost empty after the last restore), but at some point, I get the error message. Interestingly enough, *up to* that point, it'll synch fine - I can disconnect it and play on it whatever's been synched thus far. I can also modify my i-tunes settings and preferences, all of which i-tunes will recognize and adhere to. It is just unwilling to put more than 1GB of stuff onto my 20GB i-pod.
Something I've noticed is that it is sometimes indicating apparently faulty charges in the beginning (though that is quickly corrected once the synch starts), as in, it'll recognize a certain amount of audio files, but also claim a random amount of "other" files, which should not be there (apart from the 30MB or so of genuine i-pod software).
Anyhow. I haven't seen any solutions to this on the forums or in the apple help files, but people appear to be having this problem still. Any ideas or input would be very much appreciated ...
    Thanks.

3G IPOD problems which are driving me mad and i can see others have had the same problem but i can't find any solution written down.
Basically my IPOD either freezes after a couple of songs or it downloads about 6Gb (of 40) and the freezes with the following message:
"The drive is not ready for use; its door may be open. Please check drive \Device\Harddisk2\DR6 and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed"
I've tried re-setting, installing etc but no luck. Any suggestions/solutions?

Hmmmm. I'm not sure how to explain this.
You need to change the Drive Letter for your iPod.
You should be able to connect your iPod then open Windows Explorer and right click on your iPod(which seems to be Drive E:) and change it to a different letter (like H).
If you haven't enabled disk use for your iPod it probably won't appear in Windows Explorer.
To enable disk use: connect iPod, open iTunes. Open Preferences and select the iPod tab. Choose "enable disk use."
Once you've done all that, try resyncing.

  • Drive not ready for use

when i go to update my ipod, i get this error: "the drive is not ready for use; it's door may be open. Please check drive\device\harddisk2\DR4 and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the driver door is closed." then it proceedes to freeze up itunes and then the computer. So when i get this, i have to format my ipod so that i will be able to put music on it again. then after 3 or 4 updates the same thing happens. but never right after i format it. anyone have this happen before or know why this would happen? it is an older ipod, with the click wheel. and it does have the most recent update.
      Windows XP

Try changing the drive letter for your iPod.
If you don't know how to do it, I'll look around a bit and find an article to help

I have restored, formatted, tried different PC's always get same result. Visited genius bar and they declared that my iPod was healthy but refused to move enough content to the iPod to reproduce the problem. iPod is a little under 2 yrs old.
My confidence and respect regarding Apple and it's products is now greatly in question. I spent $400 duchats on this thing and I am starting to feel like an unappreciated client.

  • EJB lookup via JNDI results in java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

    Hello,
I have created and deployed an EJB to the WebAS (ver 6.40).  There is no problem looking up the bean via JNDI and calling its methods from a J2EE application - I successfully did this via a servlet.
However, a JNDI lookup from a Web Dynpro application - on the same server - results in a java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError error.
The code for the JNDI lookup is identical in either case.
    Any thoughts?

  • I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Is Apple aware of this problem? No longer supported?

My web page uses a Java Applet to allow my visitors to replay chess games; the Chess Viewer Deluxe applet was written by Nikolai Pilafov some time ago and has been working properly for some time (until recently). I don't monitor this part of my site regularly so I am not sure when it began to fail. On his web site [http://chesstuff.blogspot.com/2008/11/chess-viewer-deluxe.html] he has a link to check LiveConnect object functionality (which fails for OBJECT tags). His recommendation is to "seek platform specific support which might be available from the JRE developers for your platform".
I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Until I checked the LiveConnect object functionality, I was unable to identify the source of the console error messages. This does seem to be the smoking gun.
Is Apple aware of this problem? Are these classes no longer supported? Has anyone else had this problem? You can attempt to recreate the problem locally by going to my web page: http://donsmallidge.com/DonSmallidgeChess.html
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

I just went up to check the LiveConnect object functionality page AND IT WORKED THIS TIME! I must confess, this is very mysterious. I will do some more checking and reply here if I can determine why it is working now (and more importantly, why it didn't work before).

Object model has a Supp class that has a collection of SuppItem(s). I was allowing the Mapping Workbench to create the Java Source. I'm not to fond of that, but I thought it would be easiest to get things going.
The datamodel is similiar to the class model.

  • Java dc use another java dc with java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError

    Dear All:
    I've created 2 java dc.
I assinged the second dc as a used dc for the first dc.
I've created a web dynpro dc and add the first dc as used dc.
I can build those three dc without any error, but when I deploy to server and run I got an exception "java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError"
Is there anyone know how to fix it.
    thanks in advance.
    Allen.

    Hi Allen,
I believe the following link will help you create two public parts (for Compile Time and for Runtime) of the wrapper DC and then include the Public Parts in the Used DCs of the Final Development Component.
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/42/43973fade73c17e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
Without adding the Public Parts, your final DC to consume the Java Library would not show any Compile Time Error but would throw Class Definition Not Found Exception even though you deploy the wrapper DC on the Server. This should solve your problem. For any clarification you can always come back to me.
