Jobs are in "Cancelling" Status

Hi Team,
Some of the Jobs are in "Cancelling" from long time . More than a month. Could you please help me in deleting those jobs.
Is there any way we can do job status check (like in SM37)

Hi Preetish,
You can use the System_ForceJobStatusUnknown JobDefinition to set a particular job to Unknown, after that you can delete the Unknown job.

Hi ,
For log display reason, try the note suggested. Jobs cancel reason may be due to that the user who schedule that job are locked or not exist on that client. Or other reason will be clear only after log display.

Either see the job log or the spool in SM37 they will give the idea about the abort.

Orders with cancelled status

Hello,
       I need to generate a report where I print those orders that are in cancelled status. I can fetch those orders that are in cancelled status in Oe_order_headers_all.
whereas I need those orders whose status is CLOSED in Oe_order_headers_all and flow_status_code = CANCELLED in oe_order_lines_all (only those orders whose ALL lines are in cancelled status). Can some one help me in this.

All Background Jobs Are cancelled

Hi all,
I make a new server by restoreing backup of our production server and SAP is running well.But when I schedule any back ground jobs all jobs are cancelled.Due to this I am not able to run SGEN.Even when I manually schedule any back ground jobs it also cancelled and I am not getting any job log in SM37.I am not able to understand why this happens as I am not found any cancelled job log.Please suggest what shall I do to overcome this problem.

Hi,
check the file system /SAPMNT/<SID> space in your System.I think ur memory is fully utilized sapmnt folder.
if u not need old logs delete the log file in the following location.
sapmnt/D01/global//<Clientno>JBLOG.

i scheduled process chain. load was chain was failed .failed request is showing jobs are cancelled in source system? why jobs are cancelled in source system & how to solve this error.

Try to repeat the process manually, as a temporary fix.
Check in SM58 and BD87 for pending tRFCs and IDOCS and puch them using F6
But you can analyze as advised by BR and Venugopal.

Canceled Status in Job Detail, Process Chain triggering w/event

Hi All,
I have created event, PC and trigger event with SM64 or with ABAP, everything is ok
if I activate and Schedule PC, I see BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER job with released status, and when I trigger the event nothing is happened but when I checked the Job detail I see canceled status job.
I donu2019t understand why this problem occurs ?
I can trigger the event but before event trigger the PC, scheduled job detail directly turn to the chancel status.
if any one give me a clue to solve this problem I will appreciate

Check authorizations.
Try to run process chain with out event(immediate) and check.

How to clear the message which are in scheduled Status in PI 7.3

Hi,
We want to clear/cancel the message in Message monitor which are in scheduled status in PI 7.3.
It only a JAVA Stack System , We have been trying to clear the message manually but it take more time resulting into performance issue.
Is there some other way we can clear it from Database level.
Our Database is Db2 9.7 with Fix Pack 5
Can anyone help me in clearing the message at fast speed ?

First we check the status of Message

Then we update the status of Message to Failed

Job is in Dispatched status

Hello Experts,
I had some problem in the running of the daily jobs in the Redwood Production Environment.Actually A job was to run at around 2P.M as per its scheduled,But the job did not run as per its scheduled.Instead of showing the status as running the job was in Dispatched status for a long time.Then I had to cancelled the job and resubmit it again and finally it completed successfully.
Now my questions for the above scenarios are:
1.Why the job was in Dispatced status for a long time?
As per my understanding The redwood job runs by the redwood service as below:
Scheduled -> Dispatched ->running
2.So what happened when the Redwood Service was trying to change the status from Dispatched to running?
3.Is there any solution to set up a alert mail notification when job would be in Dispatched status for a long time?
4.Is there any root cause solution for my above scenarios and questions so that it doesn't happen again in the future?
Kindly suggest me a solution for this issue?

Hi,
As indicated, this depends on your license.
For the free version, you could send the monitor tree that is available in CPS (see Monitoring -> Monitors) to Solution Manager. This tree contains the current state of the process servers, so if a system can no longer be reached, its status will change, this will show up in Solution Manager and Solution Manager can send alerts for you (search for "XMW" in the PDF documentation).
You can also use GRMG from Solution Manager to monitor these items. Here Solution Manager regularly polls CPS for the status of its components. How to set this up is described in the documentation (search for "GRMG" in the PDF doc).
With the full version, you can get the alerting module for CPS which allows more rules and flexibility regarding alerts. You can then alert on more complex conditions, and also set up an escalation mechanism: send out the first alert, if nobody replies within x minutes send out another alert to a different team, etc.
Finally regarding the jobs: if a job needs to start within a given window, you can use the "Overdue" property to raise an event if the job doesn't start in time. The event would then trigger a job that sends you an e-mail.

Compression Jobs are failing

I am facing issue in compression job, below is the whole scenario.
As a part of enhancement, we changed the cube design and promoted the changes.
After data has beed loaded, some of the compression jobs are running fine and some are failing consecutively.
we cancelled the jobs that were long running. After this when we again executed the compresion jobs, we are getting below job log and after this job is not progressing:

we rebuild the index, statistic.. but nothing helped in successful compression jobs.
does cancelling the long running compression job at first place is a reason - compression jobs are not at all progressing now?

Hi,
Trying checking the job in SM50 with the PID, and check with basis team why the job is getting stuck you would likly be able to identify tables whcih are taking longer time.
also try compressing request one at a time and check, might be because of huge number of records.

Wont print because previous jobs are still there

i have a Hp photosmart 6510 im operating on windows xp . it is a new printer . it was operating fine ..and yesterday i went to print a photo and after making the correct detail settings..i pressed print..a box showed up that says please wait....
and shows 2 jobs that have no status..so i dont know if they are pending or failed or its frozen. .but it will not print.. i tried reseting the comp. and the printer.. i tried canceling the jobs,.. but to no avail i canot get it to work.. i kno the printer case i can still print via phone. i think the problem may be with the software.. please let me know what i can do to clear these jobs cause they are preventing me from printing. ty

I understand you are having problems printing to your new printer. Hp has a tool that fixes many printing issues.

User Profile Service - User Profile Incremental Synchronization Progress: 33% Status: Pausing
It has been almost 15 days.
Both User Profile Service and User Profile Synchronization Service are in Started state and FIM service also starting
I tried clearing sharePoint config cache.
I also restarted the sharepoint timer service.
I tried almost everything that is on Internet but nothing helped me.
Is there any other way to solve the issue as I was struck on production server (ASAP)
In synchronization serivce manager status of MOSS_DeltaImport is Inprogress from past 2 days

We have implemented CPS on SOLMAN, and when we were submitting a job for one of the SAP system and we are using Job chain method for submiting the job.

This message is most of the times thrown when the parameters you specify for the job to run are inconsistent. Possibly a variant name that does not exist or is missing, maybe a printer/sap user name/application server name that does not exist in the target system.

How to find the particular record in 1000's of workflow jobs are running

In a data manager -> in workflow tab>IF a record is in CHECK-OUT MODE there are 1000's of jobs are running in that workflow tab. Can anyone tell me how to find that particular record in that workflow jobs.

Unfortunatly, SAP MDM doesn't have good ability for WF search.
All WF clarify by it's status (unlaunched, avialable, Received, complited, error etc.)
For each WF SAP MDM assing unique Job ID and this id will be shown in Job ID field in Data Manager WF Tab.
You can change WF list order by all WF fields like as Job ID, Step, User, Start etc. and try to find your's WF.
You can use Java API - this is one of the best solution for WF management and WF mass upload (for example)

Scheduled jobs are not running DPM 2012 R2

Hi,
Recently upgraded my dpm 2012 sp1 to 2012 R2 and upgrade went well but i got 'Connection to the DPM service has been lost.(event id:917 and other event ids in the eventlog errors ike '999,997)'. Few dpm backups are success and most of the dpm backups consistenancy
checks are failed.
After investigating the log files and found two SQL server services running in the dpm 2012 r2 server those are 'sql server 2010 & sql server 2012 'service. Then i stopped sql 2010 server service and started only sql server 2012 service using (.\MICROSOFT$DPM$Acct).
Now 'dpm console issue has gone (event id:917) but new issue ocurred 'all the scheduled job are not running' but manully i can able to run all backup without any issues. i am getting below mentioned event log errors

i would try to reinstall DPM
Backup DB
uninstall DPM
Install DPM same Version like before
restore DPM DB
run dpmsync.exe -sync
