Joint 2 datatable with column type double with a seperater

Can anyone please tell me how to merge 2 datatable of column type double with a seperator (|). one with datetime header and 2nd table with integer headers, like this
table 1
01/02/2015   01/03/2015
  12346          47894
table 2
1               2
7899       45678
to become
01/02/2015        01/03/2015
12346 | 7899    47894 | 45678
thanks

Hi Sysaide,
According to your description, you'd like to migration the two dataTable to one.
What is the corresponding relationship of these two DataTables? Or when you migrating, the 01/02/2015 column and 1 column are fixed to one column. what is the relationship between these two columns?
Or, Does the first column of table1 correspond to the first column of table2? the second correspont to the second? ...
If the column index is corresponding each other. you could use the following way.
Getting out the value of each cell, then rebuild a new table to get this new value.
In your example, your column type is DataTime, but the value in the column is still string type. The below sample is used two different column type, string and int. And I show the result in a dataGridView.
DataTable dt1 = new DataTable();
dt1.Columns.Add("01/02/2015", typeof(string));
dt1.Columns.Add("01/03/2015", typeof(string));
DataRow dr = dt1.NewRow();
dr["01/02/2015"] = "11";
dr["01/03/2015"] = "12";
dt1.Rows.Add(dr);
dr = dt1.NewRow();
dr["01/02/2015"] = "21";
dr["01/03/2015"] = "22";
dt1.Rows.Add(dr);
DataTable dt2 = new DataTable();
dt2.Columns.Add("1", typeof(int));
dt2.Columns.Add("2", typeof(int));
DataRow dr2 = dt2.NewRow();
dr2["1"] = 1111;
dr2["2"] = 1122;
dt2.Rows.Add(dr2);
dr2 = dt2.NewRow();
dr2["1"] = 2211;
dr2["2"] = 2222;
dt2.Rows.Add(dr2);
DataTable dt = new DataTable();
dt = dt1.Clone();
for (int i = 0; i < dt1.Rows.Count; i++)
dt.Rows.Add();
for (int j = 0; j < dt1.Columns.Count; j++)
dt.Rows[i][j] = dt1.Rows[i][j].ToString() + " | " + dt2.Rows[i][j].ToString();
this.dataGridView1.DataSource = dt;

  • How to create dynamic DataTable with dynamic header/column in JSF?

    Hello everyone,
    I am having problem of programmatically create multiple DataTables which have different number of column? In my JSF page, I should implement a navigation table and a data table. The navigation table displays the links of all tables in the database so that the data table will load the data when the user click any link in navigation table. I have gone through [BalusC's post|http://balusc.blogspot.com/2006/06/using-datatables.html#PopulateDynamicDatatable] and I found that the section "populate dynamic datatable" does show me some hints. In his code,
    // Iterate over columns.
            for (int i = 0; i < dynamicList.get(0).size(); i++) {
                // Create <h:column>.
                HtmlColumn column = new HtmlColumn();
                dynamicDataTable.getChildren().add(column);
                // Create <h:outputText value="dynamicHeaders"> for <f:facet name="header"> of column.
    HtmlOutputText header = new HtmlOutputText();
    header.setValue(dynamicHeaders[i]);
    column.setHeader(header);
    // Create <h:outputText value="#{dynamicItem[" + i + "]}"> for the body of column.
    HtmlOutputText output = new HtmlOutputText();
    output.setValueExpression("value",
    createValueExpression("#{dynamicItem[" + i + "]}", String.class));
    column.getChildren().add(output);
    public HtmlPanelGroup getDynamicDataTableGroup() {
    // This will be called once in the first RESTORE VIEW phase.
    if (dynamicDataTableGroup == null) {
    loadDynamicList(); // Preload dynamic list.
    populateDynamicDataTable(); // Populate editable datatable.
    return dynamicDataTableGroup;
    I suppose the Getter method is only called once when the JSF page is loaded for the first time. By calling this Getter, columns are dynamically added to the table. However in my particular case, the dynamic list is not known until the user choose to view a table. That means I can not call loadDynamicList() in the Getter method. Subsequently, I can not execute the for loop in method "populateDynamicDataTable()".
    So, how can I implement a real dynamic datatable with dynamic columns, or in other words, a dynamic table that can load data from different data tables (different number of columns) in the database at run-time?
    Many thanks for any help in advance.

  • How to create a datatable with row headers and column headers

    Hi,
    I am trying to create a two dimensional datatable which has both column headers and row headers. using <h:datatable> i could create a datatable with only column headers.
    Thanks in advance

    Are you saying that you want a column with only th's? You could also just apply some CSS on that specific column that its rows look like headers.

  • Condition types doubling/tripling/...when sales documents created with reference to other documents

    Hi,
    When I create a sales order with reference to a Quote, the pricing condition types are duplicating. Same is happening when subsequent documents like Billing, credit memo request and credit memo are created. Particularly, the condition types  are doubled/tripled/.... in the subsequent documents. Because of this, pricing net value is calculated wrong. For example, freight charges getting added twice. I searched the forum and found similar issue was discussed at Condition types - Doubling UP  raised by forum member Sridhar Vijjhalwar, however there is no solution added in it.
    Has any other member came across this issue and resolved?
    I have checked the access sequence and exclusive indicators are checked. Copy controls are also checked, looked good and I tested by adding copying type D/G. Checked OSS note also and found one OSS note 1459807 - Invoice has missing/incorrect conditions when created from a sales order.
    but it is not solving the problem either. Issue also elevated to SAP for their investigation. Our system is SAP ECC 6.0 - EHP6.
    Quote Pricing:
    Sales order Pricing:
    I appreciate any pointers to resolve the issue.
    Regards,

    what was the scenario, and how did you replicate?
    It is a configuration for a new project (France country), however we found that the same issue popping up for existing business processes also. As for replicating, we just tried the same procedures, the issue is found in subsequent documents.
    If you have observed one notable thing is - all the condition types which duplicated were Z Conditions, and the standard conditions were never duplicated at least in my case.
    In our case even standard condition types like MWST, SKTO, GRWR, VPRS also shows duplicating.
    if you can throw about the business process?
    As you have mentioned order created with reference to quote was only the straight forward scenario?
    I tested other scenario also, like creating a sales order, then delivery and then billing. In this case in billing document, the condition types are duplicating. If I create a credit memo request against the billing document, then it further duplicating.
    I am not sure what is causing this. I initially thought it may be copy control settings pertaining to the new project, however other business documents also has the same issue. Other business are using different document types.
    Thanks for your follow-up.

  • DataTable with dynamic columns

    Does somebody have an example of how to code a h:dataTable with dynamic columns? I have seen hints about how to do it in these two articles:
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?forumID=427&threadID=5218508
    http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=577589&messageID=2909047
    but a complete working example would be really helpful.
    I think the key is understanding the "binding" parameter to h:dataTable but I'm having a hard time understanding it. Thanks.

    I found it here:

  • ADF BC : "Attributes selected in query with no column type found! ..."

    hi
    Using JDeveloper 10.1.3.3.0, I have this "Selected in Query" attribute, "Never" updatable, in my Entity Object.
    The Entity Object is based on the SCOTT.EMP table and the attribute, called "BonusInfo", is defined using the expression " '[bonus info ' || (SAL * 2) || ']' ".
    see http://verveja.footsteps.be/~verveja/files/oracle/NoColumnTypeFoundApp-v0.01.zip
    While creating this Entity Object, I got a "Business Components" dialog that says:
    "Column type is not specified for this attribute. Specifying column-type and precision results in better query performance at runtime. Do you wish to set column type to VARCHAR2(255)?"
    I clicked "Yes".
    I also created two View Objects based on this Entity Object.
    In the "Create View Object" wizard "Step 4 of 7: Attribute Settings" I got a "Business Components" diaglog that says:
    "Attributes selected in query with no column type found! Specifying column-type and precision results in better query performance at runtime. Do you wish to set default column type for these attributes?"
    I clicked "Yes".
    Testing the query in "Step 5 of 7: SQL Statement" showed "Query is valid.".
    question:
    Why do I keep getting the message ...
    "Attributes selected in query with no column type found! Specifying column-type and precision results in better query performance at runtime. Do you wish to set default column type for these attributes?"
    ... in the View Object Editor if I click on different attributes?
    (I don't get such a message the first time I click on an attribute after opening the View Object Editor, but after that it keeps popping up each time I click on a different attribute, no matter what I answer "Yes", "No" or "Cancel".)
    many thanks
    Jan Vervecken

    Jan,
    BC needs the column type and precision so that we can allocate the correct JDBC buffer size; otherwise we would just allocate 2k per string.

  • Attributes selected in query with no column type found! (solved)

    Dear JHeadstart Team,
    In the view object Editor I have two entity based attributes attrib1 and attrib2
    both with type Number. Both have aliases with type number(9,0)
    If attrib1 is null I want to have the value of attrib2.
    In the expression box I put: nvl(attrib1,attrib2)
    When I press the ok button I get the next error message.
    "Attributes selected in query with no column type found!
    Specifying column-type and precision results in better query performance at runtime.
    Do you wish to set default column type for these attributes? "
    When I say ok I get the next message:
    "An error occurred. Unable to apply all the wizard changes.
    Column type cannot be changed for Entity based attribute.
    Exception: oracle.jbo.dt.objects.JboExeption."
    The details button serves no extra information.
    Since both the attributes have the same type I thought the nvl commando should work.
    But what does the "no column type found" sentence mean?
    regards,
    Marcel.

    Thanks Jan,
    You've put me on the right track.
    I found out that this is only possible in the entity object class.
    So I have to check my limited java skills.

    Are you the owner of the view you created?
    Check out the documentation for the SHOW command.
    If you omit schema, SHOW ERRORS assumes the object is located in your current schema.

  • F:convertNumber with type="percent" and value of type double.

    I got a problem: when trying to use f:convertNumber with type "percent" to convert number of type double I get wrong number. ex.:
    Actual number is 5, but I get 500,00% instead of 5,00%

    Sorry.
    Just realized, that according to java.text.DecimalFormat value is multiplied by 100.

  • Problem with Column types and String

    Hi
    I have some problem while comparing against empty string.
    My column is of type it_Linked_Button. Actually it seems that column type doesn't matter.
    If cell that belongs to this column is empty and based on other columns' values I put some value into this cell.
    It works fine.
    But when I clear that cell and try to put some value again nothing happens.
    In my if statement I'm checking against empty string and it fails second time.
    Before I put anything in that cell (in debugger) that value is "" so it is empty and it works.
    (OK, I see that after I posted this message it was slightly reformated)
    But after I put something and clear that cell and try to put something again (in debugger) I get "(here is some long space) " which fails String.IsNullOrEmpty(var) test.
    What is going on? Has it something to do with Column type?
    How to clear it so I can put something in it again?
    One more thing - to put values and clear it I use DbDataSource SetValue method. And String.Empty or ""(doesn't matter)
    Thanks
    Kamil
    NOTE
    I made some workaround that gives me the behaviour I want but still I would like to know what is going on?

At least that will get rid of the hashcode kludge, where it won't mistakenly 'match' a string which isn't the actual target.3b: Map<String, Command>Yep.
    I also wanted to point this out to the OP:
    For example, let's say the 7 character string "BugABoo" happens to have the same hashcode as "EDI_DOC". And let's say your input just happens to have the string "BugABoo" in it, where you're extracting the 7 character substring. See the problem? You're getting "BugABoo" but treating it as if it really were "EDI_DOC", by virtue of comparing hashcodes instead of actual strings.

    Hello,
    We are seeing a lot of log messages like the one below when an MDO select query is run. There is a message for every numeric column. There doesnt seem to be any issue with the queries working properly its just creating a lot of log messages. Has anyone else had this issue?

    column 22, which has JDBC type DOUBLE, into a Java variable of type float.
    at com.sap.sql.log.Syslog.createAndLogOpenSQLException(Syslog.java:83) ...

    Hi Christian,
    You are right. As in your case it is a select query it does not reflect the error automatically. In my case, I had an insert query so it failed then and there, which was easier to debug and fix.
    I have one question regarding your case. When you read the MDO using the query, what do you do with the output? Do you assign it to any local/transaction property in the output links of the query block or in a proceeding assignment block?
    Because, the error mentions that the assignment of float to double datatype fails. So, in theory there should be some assignment done with the output.
    Please check if you could figure out this part in your transaction.

  • DataTable column Type

    Hi,
    I have a problem with a datatable object. The column "Qty" must have the precision that I had configured en General settigns, decimal placed, in the column "quantities", in this case 2. Its seams that I add a column to the datatable with Float type, internally takes Amounts precision, in this case 0. So I cant manage the 2 decimal in this datatable column.
    Code:
    Dim oDT As SAPbouiCOM.DataTable
    oDT.Columns.Add("Qty", SAPbobsCOM.BoFieldTypes.db_Float)
    Any Solution for this issue???
    Thanks in advance.
    Lucas

    My name is Guillermo, I'm currently working with Lucas on the same project and the problem is that based on customer requirements, "quantites" must display 2 decimal places and, "prices" and "ammounts" 0 decimal places. Having set up these values in SAP BO (through General Settings form), we use the next code to create a datatable with a column to store "quantities":
    Dim oDT As SAPbouiCOM.DataTable
    oDT.Columns.Add("Quantity", SAPbobsCOM.BoFieldTypes.db_Float)
    When using the type SAPbobsCOM.BoFieldTypes.db_Float, the values stored by the newly created column, display 0 decimal places taking, as I can only asume, the decimal places set for "ammounts" (0) not the ones set for "quantities" (2).
    We have tried the code as Daniel indicated in the response above (changing SAPbobsCOM.BoFieldTypes to SAPbouiCOM.BoFieldsType), and got the same results, data is still displayed with 0 decimals.
    Any other ideas?
    Thanks ins advance for your help.
