JSlider - Negative minimum value not allowed?

Hi,
I want a JSlider ranging from -10 to +10. setMinimum(-10), however, gives me a JSlider ranging from 0 to +10. Why?

But, all you have to do is rescale it. You're not SOL at all. The slider value is just the internal representation, you can put whatever labels you want on it and trnasofrm it to wahtever you want.
So for example, say you have a range of -10 to 10. Then you have a range of 0 to 20, and when you set the value you add 10, and when you get the value back, subtract 10. Simple!

Hi Neelu,
just take 2 records in the flat file and run it in the foreground with functional guy.
This issue is belongs to Configuration , so better to sit with functional and show them where the error is raised .
if not the configuration problem just check in the flat file the values available is with -ve r not .
No Doudt this is mostly functional configuration.

Negative delivery costs not allowed

Hi Experts,
In the below situation I am getting message like 'Negative delivery costs not allowed'.Please
give your suggestions.
There is a PO line item which I want to check the 'Delivery completion indicator' But when I am
going to change mode of the PO, in that line item delivery costs are coming in negative & samething
is shown in PO header condition tab as well.
So system throws message that ' PO Header still faulty'. 'Negative delivery costs not allowed'.
Please suggest how to overcome this problem.

PLease check which condition is causing this error and change "rounding rule" to B. If this does not solve the error, I would recommend that you open a ticket at SAP.

ERR ORA-24323: value not allowed

Hi ,
I have Developer 6i work on database 10g R2 (10.2.0.3) on windows 32 bit , i move the database to new server (windows 2008 64 bit) Database 10.2.0.4.
I move the database using export utility. Everything is ok except my reports.
My reports fail with (ERR ORA-24323: value not allowed). i did a trace using the report builder i see the follow error :-
ERR REP-0501: Unable to connect to the specified database.
ORA-00000: normal, successful completion
ERR ORA-24323: value not allowed
Please i need help.

Clear text value not allowed for credentials in config.xml

I am in the process of migrating our J2EE application from Weblogic 8.1 to Weblogic 10 MP1 and have converted config.xml to the new schema. When starting up in production mode, I see the following error which causes the server to shutdown:
<Server failed. Reason: [Management:141266]Parsing Failure in config.xml: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: In production mode, it's not allowed to set a clear text value to the property: CredentialEncrypted of SecurityConfigurationMBean>
In 8.1 it seems that it would fill in the credentials based on the username and password in boot.properties so it was possible for our installation program to leave these entries blank. However, when starting in 10.0 it doesn't do this. Below is an excerpt from config.xml.

While running a particular instance in the production mode(wls 10.x),prior to upgrading the domain you need to upgrade the security provider(all the mbeans ) you use in the previous versions and later on if you follow the domain upgrade you may find a solution for this issue...

Is there a way to specify a value not allowed in text field?

I see there is max/min chars and values but is there a way to specify not to allow specific words or a specific value like 2000 in an integer field? Maybe I'm blind but I searched through all of this document http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/articles/textfield_overview/ as well as this forum and wasn't able to find anything. When I create a proxy service for my esb webservice and try to invoke this service from my ADF Application I was always getting the exception 'unexpected null value for literal data'.
I've figured out what went wrong through debugging the proxy-classes of the esb-service.
You need to define an input-value for each attribute of which your object is constituted. After I've initialized each variable in the object, which is the input-parameter of my esb proxy, everything works fine.

Ora-24323 Value Not Allowed

any body has idea how to solve this error
it say
A null value or a bogus value was passed in for a mandatory parameter
but am sure am entering valid value for this column and i tried befor and it was working fine but now i dont know what happen.

That cannot be a general application server issue, it may be Forms or database related -- suggest you post the question there.

Thanks, unforunately it's still the same. What i have done is move the file to the c drive rather than using a location which has spaces on it.
I no longer have the same issue as before, but Now i get a different message that would imply my directory isn't correct. I've double checked and everthing seems in order and files are where i've selected.

Items with zero stock quantity show negative stock value in Stock reports

When running Stock reports for controlling the stock value towards the GL accounts, some items appear with zero stock quantity, but the report still shows a stock value (negative value in my case)
How can this happen, and how can I correct this situation ?
System parameters are : negative stock is not allowed, Items with zero cost price not allowed. On item level average cost price method is used.

Hi Johnsen,
I believe you have checked the" Manage Inventory by warehouse". I have noticed this issue in SAP B1 2005B but this is rectified in 2007B. The system behaves in this way as the system maintains item cost for the item for all warehouses and even if the stock is not present in the warehouse, the system would still show you a value for the same. I want to call Stored Procedure that return records and output parameter, from CVI
I can get output parrameter but when I want to get records stream I recieve following wrror:

Compare them & if it is egual, it should pop up a message saying duplicate value is entered and must not allow to enter, at form_level.
So how can I compare the ACCT_FD_NO value between FIRST_RECORD and NEXT_RECORD ??

Actually before posting the code, I went through the first link you have mentioned. I tried also, it is quite tedious procedure, however i dint get the proper result, may be i have done some mistake. Anyways , can you tell me how do i check in database table, if a value exists OR IF VALUE FOUND & then message and raise form trigger failure; something like below.

Commit not allowed in Trigger then how to store the values in table

Hi,
Database trigger not allowed to COMMIT in it (directly) or in procedure which is calling from the Trigger. it gives error.
so my question is:-
1)How Database internally store the INSERT AND UPDATE value in table which is written in procedure without COMMIT?
2) Is it necessary to write COMMIT in procedure using PRAGAMA AUTONOMOUS TRANSACTION to store inserted or updated value in table?

Hi,
A trigger is designed to be a part of a transaction, not it's end.
It is like following these steps (not really accurate, but should give an idea):
1. programA issues INSERT statement on tableA
2. 'control' goes over to the database
3. constraint checks happen
4. the associated triggers on tableA do their work (e.g. fetching a sequence value for a primary key)
5. 'control' goes back to programA
6. programA decides if a commit (no error occurred) or a rollback (error case) has to be issued.
Did this help? Probably not, I'm not happy with what I wrote, but anyway... :)
