JSP Error: Request URI:/OA_HTML/OA.jsp after RUP 7

Good day,
After successfully applying 6241631 (RUP7)
I am getting this error after supplying username and password to enter the EBS homepage.
JSP Error:
Request URI:/OA_HTML/OA.jsp
Exception:
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: oracle.apps.fnd.framework.webui.OAWebBeanMetaData.getStyle(Loracle/apps/fnd/framework/webui/OAPageContext;)Ljava/lang/String;
I don't see anything in my log files to further explain this error nor on the web.

I am on 11.5.10.2.
Patch and pre-reqs were applied successfully to the best of my knowledge. (I am not not ruling out the possibility of missing a pre-req patch)
No errors in the database log file.

The requested URL /OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp was not found

Dear,
i was just upgrade the OracleAS 10g Release 3 (10.1.3.0) Patch Set 4 (10.1.3.4.0) and Java 6.0 JDK on this system (ebs r12.0.6) OUL5x64
and run adautoconfig with no error.
Before the upgrade the system was fine.
but when i connect to the URL got this error.
NOT FOUND the request URL "The requested URL /OA_HTML/AppsLocalLogin.jsp was not found on this server."
looked into the apache error log and it complained , could not find the file, but i compared with a good system there were no file and DIR OA_HTML/AppsLogin.
/u01/oracle/CRPXX/inst/apps/CRPXX_xxx/portal/OA_HTML/AppsLogin.
from Apache error log:
File does not exist: /u01/oracle/CRPXX/inst/apps/CRPXX_xxx/portal/OA_HTML/AppsLogin.
Please advise.

JSP Error Related Oracle Apps

Once I logon with the correct userid and
password,I have been interrupted to move any further

You ought to ask this question in one of the E-Business Suite forums. It probably requires domain specific knowledge. Besides, most of the people here are back-end (i.e. database) developers, not web programmers.

Error when trying to run jsp on oas4081

As many others before, I'm trying to get jsp to run on oas4081. Although I think I did everything what the docs (and the other posts here) say, I get an error.
Here is what I did:
* download ojsp.zip
* add a JServlet application
* under ENVIRONMENT VARIABLES of that app I included %ORACLE_HOME%/ows/cartx/jweb/classes/ojsp.jar
(yes, I copied the ojsp.jar to that location; there already is a jservlet.jar, and I can run servlets, so I didn't bother about adding a servlet.jar anymore, as the manual said)
* under JAVA ENVIRONMENT I added DELEGATE_SERVLET_CLASS (left) and oracle.jsp.JspServlet (right)
* under WEB PARAMETERS I added htm, html to the mime-types field

Can you find any errors in the database log file?
Please run AutoConfig and make sure it completes successfully then try again after bouncing the services.

Just to share the solution of the problem.
We restarted the XServer which is on the other machine then Oracle 9i AS Middle Tiere and Infra. Once we restarted the XServer machine, and restarted the reports server , every thing back to normal.

A JSP Error occured...

I have a JSP page that made a Query on a Oracle database. The JSP parse an XSL page whit what it found. If it's a new record, it create a page that will serve to insert a record. If the request found a record, it parse a page that will serve for update...
When I retrive the query, it work fine. When I do an insert, it work fine.
But When I UPDATE, it blow up!

I know that it seem easy to said that the error is in the code but we used that code elsewhere (with a much smaller request) and it worked fine!!!
We've also run that code before on an other server and it worked fine!!!
Is it a configuration problem??? We use OSA 4.0.8.1

It cause also the server to "crash"...
Not realy a crash but the application dont work anymore (the query and insert thing) we have to restart the OAS.
If I dont restart the OAS, and I try to get to the JSP page I've got this error:

Ultrasearch Create Web Source gives JSP Error

9iAS V2, including all patches from the Patch CD.
Create Web Source: Step 4. To add a path, instructions are "To specify path rules, you must first add the host to the path rule list. Then, click on the "Edit" icon to include or exclude specific paths for that host".
I can add the host to the list, but when I click on Edit I get the error

Bug, installation failure, or what? Can't find anything on Metalink. Can others do this successfully on 9.0.2?

No one report this error before.
From the error, looks like the compiled servlet class is malformated.
Can you please delete this class file, and render the page again to see whether it helps ?

couple comments:
1. are you using jdev 902 that is shipped in ids or standalone jdev? the reports integration (which includes running a reports jsp from within jdev) currently only works with jdev in ids.
2. assuming you're using jdev in ids, do you have a reports server called 'myserver' started up somewhere on your network? if not, (and again, assuming you're using ids) you can either
a) startup the reports server in ids for testing purposes (see the tech note "How to Execute Oracle9iAS Reports Services from Oracle9iDS" in the "getting started" - http://otn.oracle.com/products/reports/htdocs/getstart/whitepapers/index.html - and this will create a server called: rep_<hostname> so just use that instead of 'myserver' )
or
b) use a reports server in 9ias - again, they're typically called 'rep_<hostname>' so you can specify that, or startup another reports server and call it 'myserver'

How to assign one JSP request object to another JSP

Hi,
I want to assign one JSP request object (i.e., previous JSP Page request object) to another JSP (i.e., current JSP page request object).
I don't want to use "<jsp:forward>" tag or "RequestDispatcher" obect here.
Because i want to display one message in the current JSP page, before sending both JSP pages' request to a servlet. How to do this ?

You cannot assign a request and response object of one jsp/servlet to another, every jsp or a servlet get is own fresh copy of request and response object with the request parameter data from the previous page.
Unless u use request dispatcher or jsp:forward action, this solution that u r looking for by re-assigning the request and response object doesn't work
