JTA health state has changed to HEALTH_WARN

Hi <br><br>
          I've got the following warning:<br><br>
The JTA health state has changed from HEALTH_OK to HEALTH_WARN with reason codes: Resource OracleStore_1 declared unhealthy.
          <br><br>
Can u point out a document, that describes rules of changing JTA's health state ?<br>
          <br>
          regards

          <br>WLS 9.2

First of all, it's not likely there is lost data but the proposed solution to delete store directories will destroy data and is not normally recommended. It's much more likely that the data in question never made it into the system as the transactions that inserted data are in the process of rolling back or already rolled back (the exception in the first post indicates the transaction rolled back); or possibly the data is part of an unresolved transaction that has a pending commit.
There appear to be two different problems in this thread and it's doubtful the same solution would apply to both. Based on the minimal information provided:
- (A) check your server log for precursor warnings and errors
- (B) increase transaction timeouts (the global domain default is 30 seconds)
- (C) reboot your WebLogic servers
- (D) ensure your up-to-date on service-packs/patches
- (E) contact customer support

  • Disk health state dont change OS health state

    Hi,
    Scenario: SCOM 2012 R2 UR4.
The health state of a disk in a given server dont change the health state at OS.
The health state at disk is warning, but the health state at OS is OK.
    The questions are:
    Is this behavior normal?
How to configure health state at OS to be the same at disk?
    Thanks in advance!

As of i have seen even i have seen such situations in my SCOM 2007 R2 where it shows Healthy event if there are multiple Monitors in a critical state.
Based on my understanding SCOM calculates based on the Dependency monitor.
Example: Best state and worst state.
1.So may be even though that disk related issue is there but that totally does not affect the Health of the Agent.
2.In case if there is any specific service named Service 1 which is in a critical state and there is Service 2 and if Service 2 has also become critical because it depends on Service 1. So because of 1 service multiple services are in a non healthy state,
Then if this is the case at that time the agent may change to a critical state in the dashboard.
May be your current situation is like example 1 and not like example 2 so you are still getting the state as Healthy in the Dashboard.

  • When does an object gets refreshed, if its state has changed in the cache?

Do I have to use transactional reads for an object to get the changes done
    by another web application ?
    Thanks
    Wolfgang

    Hi Marc,
I have a shop system comprised of two web applications where one is for
maintaining the shop and the other for using the shop. When I do changes
to the shop from the one webapp they do not show up in the second, unless
I call refresh. Also, I have to switch off the cache, it seems and do a
flush on the changed objects. There are some questions now:
    a) when I call refresh, is the complete state reread regardless whether
there have been changes or not or does it know, when the state has not
changed in the DB ? it is a performance question, I guess.
    b) can I use transactional reads to do the refresh automatically ?
    c) I noticed that refresh does not do a deep refresh of all the objects
referenced by the one to be refreshed. Is there a way to do this or do I
have to go thru all the objects ?
I asked some questions some time ago in another thread, which might refer
to. I am sorry, if I am not clear enough.
    Best regards
    Wolfgang

    Wolfgang-
I take the question to mean that you are wondering how you can refresh
the state of a persistent instance to reflect changes in the data store.
If that is the case, then you can just call
PersistenceManager.refresh(ob) on the object, and the newer values will
    be obtained.
If that doesn't help, can you clarify the question a little?

    Hi,
Please from now own put this exact tag => (So that's: four characters, forming the word 'code' between curly brackets)
before and after your examples. That way your indentation and formatting remains intact and we will be able to read and understand faster what's going on.

Probably all you need to do is call your function once more or reconnect.

  • JMS Health State

At the following URL it states that the JMSRuntimeMBean and
JMSServerRuntimeMBeans expose a HealthState via a getHealthState() method
              call:
              http://e-docs.bea.com/wls/docs70/admin_domain/monitoring.html
From the text of this message is would appear that this health state is
related to the health of the JMS thread pool:
"...the JMS subsystem monitors the condition of the JMS thread pool..."
But after substantial testing it does not appear that the health state
changes. It has defined 4 levels: OK (0), WARNING (1), CRITICAL (2), and
FAIL (3), but I have never seen it move to anything other than 0 (OK).
              Here is my test environment:
JMS Thread Pool set to 2 threads (reduced from 15 to try to observe this
              condition)
For my Topic I have a maximum message count of 10 (again to try to observe
              errors)
I have 200 threads sending 224 bytes of data into the JMS topic at 4 second
intervals. I have observed the byte and message throughput to drop to
almost nothing with pending bytes and messages, but the health state is
still OK. Furthermore, with only 2 threads to service 200 requests (backing
up at some times to 300 concurrent connections? and a default execute queue
of 50 threads (100% in use) and a queue length of 180), you would think that
the health state would reflect a problem.
              Any insight?
              Thanks!
              Steve

  • Q:Determine if a item value has changed

    Hello,
I am sure I am missing something basic but I just can't figure out how to do accomplish this.
I have a form with a radio button (Yes or No) which I need to determine in a Page Process if the user has changed the value to Yes or not. The result of this will decide if I am going to send an email or not.
    I am running APEX 4.2.1.
    Anyone?
    Thanks
    Andy

    Okay.
    1) For the Dynamic Action:
You want the Action to be "Execute PL/SQL Code".
Under Settings, in the code window just put the single "null;" satement.
Under Settings, for Page Items To Submit - Pxx_RADIO -- note - no colon here!
Under Setitngs, for Page Items to Return - Pxx_RADIO_LAST -- not no colon here!
(And don't put both Items on both line because that just causes a lock up when executed.)
    2) The only down side is that if you display Pxx_RADIO_LAST, it will not show it's value until the Pxx_RADIO is change and the values is return in the Dynamic Action. But as soon as it's returned, it's the old value of Pxx_RADIO. And if Pxx_RADIO is toggled, Pxx_RADIO_LAST remains that initial value that it was when first set. If you want to see Pxx_RADIO_LAST on the screen when the page renders, I suppose tou need a DA to save it to the session state when it's set in the before header process.
If you want, look here on p. 5.
    Workspace: SIMPLE_DEMOS
    UN: hcarson at woh.rr.com
    PW: SD123456789
    RADIO_DEMO ID:25096
    Dever / Ima9Dever
    Page 3: Radio Group
    Page 4: Checkbox
    Page 5: Hidden Item Demo
To see that the value is saved, Set Radio Group to "Yes" and then go to p. 4. Go back to p.5 and "Yes" will be still be set but the Text Field -- I changed to Text from Hidden -- will be blank. When you click No, then the "Pxx_RADIO_LAST" value of Y will appear here. (Make sense?)

  • How to tell if column value has changed for use in workflow actions

    Hello,
I am using Sharepoint 2010 and for one of my Lists, I am using a general list workflow.  What I need to be able to do is determine if a column value has change (say an "Assigned To" field) because I only want to take some action if that particular
value has changed.  I want to be able to have a workflow action that would be something like:
If Current Item: Assigned To not equals [OLD VALUE]
I have found some web searches that talk about creating a duplicate list or duplicate (but hidden) column but that doesn't seem to be the way to go.  I have document versioning set but don't if that can be used to help with this.  One possible
thought (although I haven't tried it to see if it works) is to create local variables and have the values in the variables be the "old value".  Just not sure if there is a best practices for doing this.
Thanks for any thoughts - Peter

    Helen,
Not sure I fully understand your goal.  We don't use "tasks" at all but if you are looking to have your workflow check certain valus and be able to send email messages to people based on whatever, then you can certainly do that (as long as your Sharepoint
has the email setup.  We do this for alot of workflow tasks.
So, in the workflow you can have a blanket statement like what I previously listed:
if Current Item:hiddenStatus  not equals Current Item:Status
        .... do something
or you can do something like:
    if Current Item:hiddenStatus equals "In-Progress"
        .... do something
Else if Current Item:hiddenStatus  equals "Completed"
        .... do something
or combine the two and do nested "if" statements.  Then you add an email statement wherever you need it like:
    if Current Item:hiddenStatus  equals "Completed"
       then email "these users"
To add the email part, just type in "email" on the line where you want to add a statment.  There is only one option to choose from.  That will display the line "then email these users".   The "these users" will be a link.  When you
click it you will get a popup to add the email info.  We typically will send the email to a user (or users) that are already listed in one of the PeoplePicker fields.  On the email form, you can type in your own text, designate that a value is based
on a column value (like our PeoplePicker), designate that a value is based on a workflow variable, add a link to the current item, etc.  To get to these options you will click the button to the right of the fields or use the "Add or Change Lookup" button
in the bottom-left for the text area.  There is alot you can set in the mail.
Does this help answer your question?

  • 15 concurrent users and JBO-35007 row currency has changed

    Hi!
    Something for the weekend :)
I have an ADF/BC 10.1.3.3. application on 10.1.3.3. Oracle AS. I use a jazn security with users and roles stored in database tables. While testing with one or two users I never ran into the same problem as we had this week when testing with 15 users. I have an entity and VO with a whole attributes that are edited in a couple of jspx pages that composed with process train control. There are also a couple of detail data edited on this page. I'm using ProcessScope quite a lot to pass some information between the pages.
Well, to get to the point: when testing with 15 users we had A LOT of JBO-35007 row currency has changed since the user interface was rendered errors in this process. Every user was editing it's own data row. The error appeared every time a user left the application inactive for a couple of seconds, entered some data and clicked commit. I'm not aware of the security settings of the browser on the testing computers and I can't get them now to see if something like this could be the problem.
When I checked the log files, there are a lot of errors or warnings in them. I'll try to sum the ones that might be important for this issue. These errors appear a lot's of times in these log files that is why I'm assuming some of these are connected to my issue.

The problem is I can't reproduce this behaviour any more in my environment. If someone could maybe point me to the errors that are important and could be the cause of this errors. Could this be an internet browser security settings issue? What about those errors about aborted connections?
If you can't provide me an answer (which I know it would be very difficult by the information provided), maybe you could explain the cause of some of the errors described above?
I'd appreciate any tips on this since I don't have e an idea how and where to start to at least reproduce and find out the cause of this. Than I'll worry about the solution :).

  • How to verify that the user has changed table row data before db update

    Hi all,
Iam using Oracle ADF with EJBs.
I have a single selection table that displays rows of data returned from a function of my data control.
The columns of my table are editable so that the user can change the data. The user selects a row, changes the data in one or more columns of the row and saves the data by means of a submit button. The code in the submit button, identifies the row of the corresponding iterator that the user clicked on and updates the data in the database (using the 'mergeEntity' function of the EntityManager)
Before saving the data, I want to put some logic to check whether the user has actually changed some data to avoid unnecessary updates in the database . But for this I need a technique to detect that the user has indeed changed some data in the table row.
One technique I have been using so far was to isolate the iterator row of the table and then query the corresponding row in the database table and compare their values.
Except from dummy, this technique is not efficient if the table contains many rows.
Moreover, in my case I have observed that on successive updates on the same row , the query on the database returns the new values (user changed values) and not the actual values contained in the database table. This means that when the user updates an iterator row the cached data affect also the results of the SELECT statement from the actual database table!!! Isn't this strange ?
Can somebody propose me a neat method to detect when the user has changed the the data of an iterator row ?

    Hey Alan,
The below solution seems overly complicated to me and can not be implemented without a custom screen and/or the use of JavaScript. Also, if your main concern is that a user may accidentally loose all their data because they closed the browser window or the session times out before they hit the save button then this solution does not help you.
There are a couple of simpler approaches you can take here:
    # If the use of JavaScript is permissible you can hook into the windows 'onUnload' event, and pop-up a message box which gives the user the opportunity to cancel closing the window and save their case if they haven't already.
    # Implement an autosave feature by hooking into one of events provided by web determinations. A simple (but rather naive) way of doing this would be to hook into the OnRenderScreenEvent and call save on the interview session every time the event fires. This guarantees that all the data the user has submitted will aways automatically be saved, thereby removing the need to make sure the user manually saves their data before closing the browser.
Automatically making Web Determinations close a browser window has to be done using JavaScript. However, doing so means that a) it won't work for people who turn off JavaScript, which is commonly done for accessibility reasons b) you'll likely run afoul of the browser's security mechanism (they generally won't let you close a window that you didn't open and some really don't like you doing that at all).
    Thanks,
    Kristy

  • My safari preferences/ security screen has changed and no longer addresses cookies.  There is now a Preferences/Privacy screen that allows one to delete cookies, although it is harder to do than the older security screen.  Was this an update?

My Safari Preferences/Security screen has changed and no longer addresses cookies. Rather, there is a new Preferences/Privacy screen that allows you to manipulate cookies, but it is not as easy to use as when cookies were on the security screen. Was this an update?  Has this change affected anyone else? This is strange, because  Safari Help still states cookies are manipulated on the Security screen, even though the screen has changed and no longer addresses cookies.

Presuming you're referring to Safari 5.1, yes, it's moved, but I don't see it as being harder. Now you can clear all privacy-related items - cookies, cache and history - with one button, the "Remove All Website Data" button. If you want to work with individual cookies, it's still just one button, the "Details" button. So no, I don't see it as being more difficult.

  • Row currency has changed since the user interface was rendered.

    Hi All,
we have developed and deployed an Application in Production, before four months,
Suddenly for the past two days we are getting an error after the page being idle for 2- 3 minutes.
Row currency has changed since the user interface was rendered. The expected row key was oracle.jbo.Key[3259 ]Once we get the error, the session scoped beans are resetting the values, and all the vo's cache are getting cleared(All the buttons in the page will get disabled and the menu will disappear).
but the same EAR is working perfectly in UAT and QA environments.
We have changed the "Enabletokenvalidation" as false and tested again, but the page itself is not loading after the change .
We have checked the Production and UAT weblogic server settings , but didn't find anything wrong.
    WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.3.0
    Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.2.0
    if any ideas,
    please help us...

    Hi All,
We have checked the error "Row currency has changed since the user interface was rendered. The expected row key was oracle.jbo.Key[3259 ]", we tuned the view objects, we changed the application page flows, and it is found that once we turn off the statevalidation (statevalidation =false), the error is not popping up, but it is getting fired in the server side as

we are not using back button press or any other rowItearation in these pages and we are not changing the row key through code.
Simple Master page, with inline edit , add and delete with thousands of records.
Error is popping up after the page is being idle for 2- 3 mins. on the next request after the idle time, the error will pop up .
once the row currency error came, the current state of the view objects will get reset to the initial state(First row).
we don't know how to fix this issue, this issue is coming in production server only...

  • JBO-33035: Row currency   has changed

    Hi,
I have a Dept table which has 10 rows.
Lets say 2 users are viewing the Dept List and tries to modify the same record at the same time.
Then one of the user gets the following error
"JBO-29000: Unexpected exception caught: oracle.jbo.JboException, msg=JBO-33035: Row currency has changed since the user interface was rendered. The expected row key was null"
Let me know how to solve this
    Thanks

Can't say I've seen JBO-33035 in context of another user updating the same record. Usually it occurs because of an issue with the state token and the user making use of the browser back button.
Hopefully the following post gives you a pointer:

  • JBO-35007 row currency has changed - can timeouts cause this?

A user of mine (JDev 10.1.3.1 ADF BC/ADF Faces) is experiencing the famed JBO-35007 row currency has changed error message after a period of inactivity (~35 minutes).
Suspiciously sounds like a timeout to me. Can the row currency validation be invalidated by a timeout in the ADF framework? What side of the framework tracks the row currency? I'm guessing it's ADF Business Components. Can the timeout of the AM cause JBO-35007?
    Any help appreciated.
    Regards,
    CM.

    Hi John,
it depends on the fact the failover feature is enabled or not (jbo.dofailover).
When enabled, the HttpSession cookie that is stored in the HttpSession will also be stored on the browser (browser cookie), so that the framework can re-establish the link between a new HttpSession and the pending session state.
As 35 minutes is the default of the HTTP session timeout, I suppose that Chris is working in failover mode, and that BC4J has some problem to re-activate the current row (maybe its key ?) correctly.

    Didier.
