JTable and CPU

Hi,
I am reading a large text file and displaying info in a separate thread
in the swing table.
I am getting very large CPU utilization (~100%) is there something I I can do to bring CPU utilization down?
I am using jdk 1.3.1_03
It is very important to me to find a solution as fast as possible.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Thank you for reply
I have my own table model and fire event only when I loaded full page/screen of data I also have a custom buffer class, in a separate thread, in which I have a Thread.sleep after configurable number of reads.
This all solves problem partially. But our server has ultra fast harddrives and every read is very CPU intencive. Also having sleep
in my code slows my application down drastically. Is there a way to balance IO speed and CPU load.
This could be a question for a different forum.
But I would appreciate if you have any pointers to the info
about this metter.
Thank you,
Vitaly.

  • Memory and CPU issue

    Hi experts,
    My Oracle version is:
    Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.4.0 - 64bi
    PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
    CORE 10.2.0.4.0 Production
    TNS for IBM/AIX RISC System/6000: Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Productio
    NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.4.0 - Production
    we have 2 node RAC. my client (WAS) connects to the DB using JDBC and establishes connection with the DB.
    Now problems is coming that my RAC memory on both the nodes gets fully consumed and CPU utilisation is also very high.
    We are using proxy login in our application connection. which means that connection to the DB will be created with a schema(User) and after that Proxy session will be established for a particular user. So for a request we have two session. The main session which we had will schema user becomes inactive and proxy session becomes active.
    So this way we have 2 sessions for a request which is not wrong but memory and CPU utilisation are bottlenecked.
    Can anyone tell what is the minimum memery that a connection takes even if its idle or inactive.
    Regards,
    Vikas

    JDBC 'applications' quite often don't use persistent connections, and often do not exit gracefully by calling 'exit' or 'disconnect'.
    This means the session will continue to exist.
    It also means, if you don't establish any form of connection pooling and/or dead connection detection, you can throw whatever amount of memory in the server, and you will continue to report
    'Now problems is coming'. Apart from crippled English, the general lesson any DBA should know is how these 'applications' operate, and, contrary to some, you can never ever fight problems caused by applications,
    by throwing memory and cpu at the problem.
    When I read your text, I also assume the application is not using PrepareStatement calls and not using bindvariables, this is why your 'application' is burning the CPU.
    Find those 'application developers', sue them, or better still : Beat them with a whip, and have them fix their 'crapplication'.

  • Problem with memory usage and CPU usage

    Hello,
    i have a problem with the memory usage and cpu usage in my project!
    My application must run for more than 24 hrs. The problem is that the longer it runs the bigger is the memory and cpu usage!
    It starts with ~15% CPU usage and ~70 MBytes memory usage. After ~ 24hrs the CPU usage is ~60% and the memory usage is ~170 MBytes!
    After  3 days the CPU usage is almost about 70% and the memory usage is about 360 MBytes!
    What can I do to reduce this huge recource usage?
    Thank you!

    Hi Pahe,
       I think the issue is memory usage, since CPU usage can increase due to greater memory requirements.
       Anyway, it's difficult to debug without seeing your code, can you post it (possibly for LV 7.1 compatibility)?  Or just post a JPEG of the piece of code that can give problems...
       I guess you're appending data to an array instead of replace data elements, but I can't be sure...
       Have a nice day!

  • JTable and clipboard...

    Hi all!
    I'm trying to copy data from JTable to system clipboard. Here's my code that is
    supposed to do that except it doesn't work. Nothing happens. The system is
    Windows, rigth click invokes menu with only one position - COPY, which is served
    by a appopriate ActionListener. I want to copy entire table (all data):
    private class NotEditableTable extends JTable
    NotEditableTable(Object[][] data, Object[] columnNames)
    super(data, columnNames);
    setAutoResizeMode(JTable.AUTO_RESIZE_OFF);
    setCellSelectionEnabled(true);
    getTableHeader().setReorderingAllowed(false);
    NotEditableTableEngine nete = new NotEditableTableEngine();
    this.addMouseListener(nete);
    public boolean isCellEditable(int row, int column)
    return false;
    private class NotEditableTableEngine extends MouseAdapter implements ActionListener
    public void mouseReleased(MouseEvent e)
    if (e.isPopupTrigger())
    JPopupMenu menu = new JPopupMenu();
    JMenuItem menuitem = new JMenuItem(Lang.TABLE_COPY, new ImageIcon("res/Copy16.gif"));
    menuitem.addActionListener(this);
    menu.add(menuitem);
    menu.show(NotEditableTable.this, e.getX(), e.getY());
    public void actionPerformed(ActionEvent e)
    TransferHandler th = new TransferHandler(null);
    NotEditableTable.this.setTransferHandler(th);
    Clipboard clip = NotEditableTable.this.getToolkit().getSystemClipboard();
    th.exportToClipboard(NotEditableTable.this, clip, TransferHandler.COPY);
    }

    I also tried the code above with a simple JTextField, both with text selected and not.Did my sample code use the TransferHandler??? The simple way to do it for a JTextField would be
    Clipboard c = Toolkit.getDefaultToolkit().getSystemClipboard();
    StringSelection testData = new StringSelection( textField.getText );
    //StringSelection testData = new StringSelection( textField.getSelectedText );
    c.setContents(testData, testData);
    As for the table I said that the Ctrl-C KeyStroke will invoke the default Action to copy selected data from the JTable to the Clipboard. This can be tested manually by simply using Ctrl-C. If you want to invoke it in your program then you need to get the corresponding Action from the JTable and invoke the ActionPerformed method of the Action. You can try using the
    getActionForKeyStroke(...) method of JComponent to get the Action.

  • Can we control user request w.r.t Memory and CPU utilization in Oracle 10g

    Dear All,
    We are having Production with Oracle 10.2.0.4 (5 Node RAC, 32Gb RAM each) running on RHEL5.2 with 12000 Users. We have some schema say FIN, HRMS, SALES, REPORT and many dedicated users for those schemas. We need to control the user request against these schema with respect to Memory (or CPU utilization)
    Suppose users using FIN schema can use Maximum 40 % of Total Memory, HRMS schema can use Max 20%, SALES can use Max 20% and REPORT can use Max 20%.
    Is it possible to create any Service in Server side to handle this type of scenareo or any existing service which can be customised to fullfil this?
    Please suggest me.......
    Thanks,
    Tusar

  • Macbook Pro fan running constantly and CPU running slow

    So, I have a Macbook Pro 2010 2.3 i7 that has started running really slow and the fan is running constantly.
    In activity monitor it shows a kernel_task running constantly at around or above 200%.
    I have tried all the regular tasks.  PRam reset, SMC reset and nothing seems to fix it.
    I have also tried a system reinstall to no avail.
    Maybe I'm on the wrong track, but from what I have read, the kernel_task might be trying to slow my CPU down because it thinks it is being overworked?
    Maybe the fans are also being activated because it thinks the computer is too hot?
    Anyway, if anyone has any idea as to what I can do to figure out what is going on, let me know.  Thanks

  • A process named "update.exe *32" and description is "Firefox" keeps using a lot of memory and cpu; the longer forefox is on, the worse it gets. How to prevent?

    using Windows 7, firefox 15.0.1
    This process uses more and more memory and CPU, sometimes there are several of these processes running. If I kill these processes, it doesn't seem to affect the utilization of Firefox. Then the process slowly starts to use more and more memory and CPU all over again.
    This happens all the time, every time I use Firefox.

    I do not have a ComObjects folder under C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files. That is not part of Firefox.
    wscript.exe is a utility included with Windows to run scripts at the system level. It generally is not used by major programs. If update.exe is starting up with Windows, you may be able to find the script that wscript.exe is running using [http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx Autoruns].
    It definitely sounds viral. I suggest deleting the update.exe file, although Windows might prevent you from doing that until you kill all related processes. And if you have a persistent infection, the file may be restored or re-downloaded.
    It might be easiest to seek assistance from a forum more dedicated to malware cleanups such as the following:
    * [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/forum22.html Virus, Trojan, Spyware, and Malware Removal Logs - BleepingComputer.com]

    I continued researching. When my server gain cpu and memory in Catalina.out, I can to see this output:

    Feb 28, 2008 10:25:53 AM oracle.adf.view.faces.webcache.component.UICache encodeBegin
    INFO: fragment is Facturacion.jspx:_id4
    Feb 28, 2008 10:25:53 AM oracle.adf.view.faces.webcache.component.UICache getFragmentFromCache
    INFO: fragment (Facturacion.jspx:_id4) fetch: cache missIn this example, I belive that user is resuming the Facturacion.jspx page. In my code I have this line:
    It’s corresponding to menu.
    I have looking this documentation:
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/html/B25947_01/web_cache002.htm
    In this documentation, first access, the cache miss, but the following times the cache could hit. . When my server gain cpu and memory I look that the following times the cache always miss in all pages. Subsequently tomcat no reply and the malicious thread, execute Armageddon trace. This behavior of the cache is strange, right?
    I’m sure that I’m making anything that fetch in queryCollection make big loop.
    I have redefining getRangeSize and CurrentRow of my CustomViewObject (all viewOjects about my applications extends CustomViewObject and CustomViewObject extends viewObject) and I looked correct rangesize (not -1). I got system.out.println(getFetchedRowCount()) in createRow and obtain 13 or 15. I belive that It’s correct.
    Another example of problematic trace is (in this case is in preparemodel):

  • PS and CPU fan comes on merely by plugging in AC power

    I am repairing a friends Athlon xp machine and have tested everything with extras.
    I put a new MSI KM4M-V board in.  The pc runs xp fine, etc., etc., however, when shut down the pc, Windows shuts down, but the ps and cpu fan stays on.  Indefinitely.  I have to either flip the on/off switch on the back of the ps or pull the damn plug.
    What gives?
    When I plug the thing in cold, same thing; the fans come on and then I press the start button whenever I want and the system posts and boots normally.
    A motherboard Short?  I checked the switch and even pulled the connector; the fans still come on when I plug it in.
    Any thoughts?
    Thanks.
    J Romulus

    Yes, I've let it run for hours after Windows shuts off, it simply doesn't go off.
    Simply plugging it in or flipping ps switch, the same thing; ps and cpu fans come on automatically.
    I've read all the APIC threads; if I were strictly having problems shutting down, maybe it be that.  But it is so strange that it does it from a cold start.
    Got to be some kind of short, or else a bad board.

  • Hyper-V Resource Pools for Memory and CPU

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to understand the concepts and details of resource pools in Hyper-V in Windows Server 2012. It seems as if there is almost no documentation on all that. Perhaps somebody can support me here, maybe I've not seen some docs yet.
    So far, I learned that resource pools in their current implementation serve mainly for metering purposes. You can create pools per tenant and then group VM resources into those pools to facilitate resource metering per tenant. That is, you enable metering
    once per pool and get all the data necessary to bill that one customer for all their resources (without metering individual VMs). Is that correct?
    Furthermore, it seems to me that an ethernet pool goes one step further by providing an abstraction level for virtual switches. As far as I've understood you can add multiple vSwitches to a pool and then connect a VM to the pool. Hyper-V then decides which
    actual switch to use. This may be handy in a multi-host environment if vSwitches on different hosts use different names although they connect to the same network. Is that correct?
    So - talking about actually managing that stuff I've learned how to create a pool and how to add VHD locations and virtual switches to a pool. Enabling resource metering for a pool then collects usage data from all the resources inside that pool.
    But now: I can create a pool for memory and a pool for CPU. But I cannot add resources to those. Neither can I add a complete VM to a pool. Now I'm launching a VM that belongs to a customer whose resources I'm metering. How will Hyper-V know that it's
    supposed to collect data on CPU and memory usage for that VM?
    Am I missing something here? Or is pool-based metering only good for ethernet and VHD resources, and CPU and memory still need to be metered per VM?
    Thanks for clarification,

    Thank you for the links. I already knew those, and unfortunately they are not matching my question. Two of them are about Windows Server 2008/R2, and one only lists a WMI interface. What I'm after is a new feature in Windows Server 2012, and I need conceptional
    information.
    Thanks for the research anyway. I appreciate that a lot!
    In the meantime I've gotten quite far in my own research. See my entry above of January 7th. Some additions:
    In Windows Server 2012, Hyper-V resource pools are mainly for metering purposes. You cannot compare them to resource pools in VMware.
    A resource pool in Hyper-V (2012) facilitates resource metering and billing for VM usage especially in hosting scenarios. You can either measure resource usage for single VMs, or you can group existing resources (such as CPU power, RAM, virtual hard disk
    storage, Ethernet traffic) into pools. Those pools will mostly be assigned to one customer each. That way you can bill the customer for their resource usage in a given time period by just querying the customer's pool.
    Metering only collects aggregated data with one value per resource (i.e. overall CPU usage, maximum VHD storage, summed Ethernet traffic and so on). You can control the time period by explicitly resetting the counter at any given time (a day, a week, a
    month or what you like).
    There is no detailed data. The aggregate values serve as a basis for billing, not as monitoring data. If you need detailed monitoring data use Performance Monitor.
    There is currently only one type of resource pool that adds an abstraction layer to a virtualization farm, and that is the Ethernet type. You can use that type for metering, but you can also use it to group a number of virtual switches (that connect to
    the same network segment) and then a VM connected to that pool will automatically use an appropriate virtual switch from the pool. You need no longer worry about virtual switch names across multiple hosts as long as all equivalent virtual switches are
    added to the pool.
    While you can manage two types of pool resources in the GUI (VHD pools and Ethernet pools) you should only manage resource pools via PowerShell. Only there will you be able to control what happens. And only PowerShell provides a means to start, stop, and
    reset metering and query metering data.
    The process to use resource pools in Hyper-V (2012) in short:
    First create a new pool via PowerShell (New-VMResourcePool). (In case of a VHD pool you must specify the VHD storage paths to add to the pool in the moment you create the pool.)
    In case of an Ethernet pool add existing virtual switches to the pool (Add-VMSwitch).
    Reconfigure existing VMs that you want to measure so that they use resources from the pool. The PowerShell
    Set-VM* commands accept a parameter -ResourcePoolName to do that. Example:
    Set-VMMemory -VMName APP-02 -ResourcePoolName MyPool1
    Start measuring with Enable-VMResourceMetering.
    Query collected data as often as you need with Measure-VMResourcePool.
    Note that you should specify the pool resource type in the command to get reliable data (see my post above, Jan 7th).
    When a metering period (such as a week or a month) has passed, reset the counter to zero with
    Reset-VMResourceMetering.
    Hope that helps. I consider this the answer to my own question. ;)

  • What is the CPU usage of X and cpu temp on your Arch?

    I just installed the new arch 2009 02. Everything seems to be perfectly out of box, I have lxde DE.
    But I noticed that in idle X is using around 2~3% cpu compared to below 1% in the old Arch I had before. It seems there is a little lag in the desktop experience, not obvious though, but not as responsive as my old Arch. Also the cpu temperature under lm_sensors gives me 43 constantly compared to 39 in my old Arch?! This is not some random sample of temperature, I constantly monitored it to realize it indeed runs hotter.
    Also, when I open one mplayer, it uses 40% cpu + 20% for X. If I open 2 mplayer, fan will go noisy and cpu hit full and both videos become choppy! This never happened in my old Arch. I search the forum for quite a while, but have not found exactly the reason.
    Some help or information? Greatly appreciate it.:D
    My Hardware:

    Athlon x2 5200+ 2.7Ghz

    Hmm interesting.  How old was the "old arch" you are talking about?
    Because if it was quite a while ago that you ran Arch and recorded those temperature readings, I might wonder if your hardware is aging or dust is gathering inside your computer case, decreasing air flow and increasing temperature.
    My laptop also runs almost constantly around 43 degrees and about the same at X idle.  This seems normal to me though.

  • JTable and ResultSet TableModel with big resultset

    Hi, I have a question about JTable and a ResultSet TableModel.
    I have to develop a swing JTable application that gets the data from a ResultSetTableModel where the user can update the jtable data.
    The problem is the following:
    the JTable have to contain the whole data of the source database table. Currently I have defined a
    a TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE & CONCUR_UPDATABLE statement.
    The problem is that when I execute the query the whole ResultSet is "downloaded" on the client side application (my jtable) and I could receive (with big resultsets) an "out of memory error"...
    I have investigate about the possibility of load (in the client side) only a small subset of the resultset but with no luck. In the maling lists I see that the only way to load the resultset incrementally is to define a forward only resultset with autocommit off, and using setFetchSize(...). But this solution doesn't solve my problem because if the user scrolls the entire table, the whole resultset will be downloaded...
    In my opinion, there is only one solution:
    - create a small JTable "cache structure" and update the structure with "remote calls" to the server ...
    in other words I have to define on the server side a "servlet environment" that queries the database, creates the resultset and gives to the jtable only the data subsets that it needs... (alternatively I could define an RMI client/server distribuited applications...)
    This is my solution, somebody can help me?
    Are there others solutions for my problem?
    Thanks in advance,
    Stefano

    The database table currently is about 80000 rows but the next year will be 200000 and so on ...
    I know that excel has this limit but my JTable have to display more data than a simple excel work sheet.
    I explain in more detail my solution:
    whith a distribuited TableModel the whole tablemodel data are on the server side and not on the client (jtable).
    The local JTable TableModel gets the values from a local (limited, 1000rows for example) structure, and when the user scroll up and down the jtable the TableModel updates this structure...
    For example: initially the local JTable structure contains the rows from 0 to 1000;
    the user scroll down, when the cell 800 (for example) have to be displayed the method:
    getValueAt(800,...)
    is called.
    This method will update the table structure. Now, for example, the table structure will contain data for example from row 500 to row 1500 (the data from 0 to 499 are deleted)
    In this way the local table model dimension will be indipendent from the real database table dimension ...
    I hope that my solution is more clear now...
    under these conditions the only solutions that can work have to implement a local tablemodel with limited dimension...
    Another solution without servlet and rmi that I have found is the following:
    update the local limited tablemodel structure quering the database server with select .... limit ... offset
    but, the select ... limit ... offset is very dangerous when the offset is high because the database server have to do a sequential scan of all previuous records ...
    with servlet (or RMI) solution instead, the entire resultset is on the server and I have only to request the data from the current resultset from row N to row N+1000 without no queries...
    Thanks

  • Firefox 3.6.24 is stressing memory and CPU resources to the point that Hotmail is almost unusuable and computer jams while FF goes thru its athletics; what to do?

    I have a Dell Inspiron 710m, with Windows XP, Norton 360, IE8. My computer understanding and needs are simple. Norton lets me know that Firefox is eating memory and CPU. The machine often jams while this happens, whether or not Norton has flagged an operation, and then resumes function. Hotmail is in shambles (jamming between operations, and having sign out problem). Neither Norton nor CC Cleaner (including Registry) indicate a problem. This is a nifty little machine that I use for email, mostly newspaper subscriptions, online shopping and banking, personal, and for Internet research. I have tried more advanced versions of Firefox and found them buggy. So, I went back. The upgrades are coming too fast. Not everyone is going to invest in another machine for Windows 7 or IE 9 capability right away. Meanwhile, Firefox, which worked just fine, seems to be pushing along, in what seems to be an industry in which cooperation and compatibility have ceased to be important. I don't know what to do. I can't do complex diagnostics and fixes, and am not in an area where I would take this computer anywhere.

    Thank you for taking the time out to reply. I don't know whether or not your suggestions would have worked, but I did solve my problem. I eventually figured out that the file, overlay.xul, was doing something and when I changed the filename, the bar went away.
    I was reading that the xul error usually meant something wrong with an extension, but that didn't make sense because after uninstalling/reinstalling, there were no extensions present, on an assumption, of course. I noticed a file through a search, and it was located in a folder without a mozilla/firefox name in it, looked like a randomly generated folder name. I looked in the extensions. ini and noticed it pointed to that overlay.xul file in that random named folder and thought, what the hell, and just renamed the overlay.xul file to something else and the problem went away.
    Thanks again.

  • TP4[BUG]: Memory profile and CPU profile doesn't work for MAC

    I'm using Mac OSX 10.5.4.
    When I try to use Memory profile and CPU profile, I got following error:
    Error occurred during initialization of VM
    Could not find agent library in absolute path: /Shared/jdevstudiobase1111/jdev/lib/profiler15.so
    But the file actually exists.

    My MAC version is OSX 10.5.4.
    I don't have a stacktrace. It just fails silently.
    You can easily reproduce this bug by reformat a readonly file.
    Here is the code I reverse engineered from oracle.jdeveloper.refactoring.util.Util.java:
    public static boolean setReadOnly(java.net.URL url, boolean readOnly)
    boolean ret = false;
    java.lang.String cmdarray[] = null;
    java.lang.String platformPathName = oracle.ide.net.URLFileSystem.getPlatformPathName(url);
    java.lang.String osName = java.lang.System.getProperty("os.name", "");
    if(osName.startsWith("Windows"))
    cmdarray = (new java.lang.String[] {
    "ATTRIB", readOnly ? "+R" : "-R", (new StringBuilder()).append('"').append(platformPathName).append('"').toString()
    else
    if(platformPathName.equalsIgnoreCase("Linux"))
    cmdarray = (new java.lang.String[] {
    "chmod", readOnly ? "u-w" : "u+w", (new StringBuilder()).append('"').append(platformPathName).append('"').toString()
    if(cmdarray != null)
    java.lang.Runtime runtime = java.lang.Runtime.getRuntime();
    try
    java.lang.Process process = runtime.exec(cmdarray);
    if(process.waitFor() == 0)
    ret = (new File(platformPathName)).canWrite();
    if(ret)
    oracle.ide.model.Node node = oracle.ide.model.NodeFactory.find(url);
    if(node instanceof oracle.ide.model.TextNode)
    oracle.ide.model.TextNode textNode = (oracle.ide.model.TextNode)node;
    textNode.isReadOnly();
    catch(java.io.IOException e)
    e.printStackTrace();
    catch(java.lang.InterruptedException e)
    e.printStackTrace();
    return ret;

  • S5200UK more than meets Min Requirements for Win7 but slow and CPU peeking at 100% during IE or NIS

    Hi everyone! Previously my S5200UK was upgraded from 1GB RAM to 2GB with a newer BIOS of V3.21
    (See  http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Hardware/Can-I-increase-RAM-size-if-I-upgrade-the-BIOS/m-p/1302... )
    Thanks to Paul Tikkanen's help then I got the machine working fabulously but thanks to Microsoft's decommisioning of XP I decided to upgade to Windows 7 professional. The minimum requirements are 1GHz CPU and 1GB RAM. My AMD CPU is 2.08GHz but its performance is 2.6GHz equivalent. The RAM is 2GB and I have upgraded the HDD to a new Seagate SSHD SATA 1TB hybrid (with 8GB SSD incorporated). I used the exact drive on another machine a dx2000mt and WOW what a difference to boot speed (30sec) 1min with programs installed and data restored. (and that is usable desktop). I also fitted the  ATI Radeon 9600 LE 128 MB AGP graphics card as recommended by Paul and a new 500W supply. I did not expect any problems as the 7 upgrade (clean install) on the dx2000mt went like a dream. Anyhow, this is the problem. After installing windows, all the updates and Norton Internet Security (NIS) the machine uses 100% processor and 25% RAM as I attempt to open NIS or use Internet Explorer. I can hear the CPU fan speed up every time it executes any small task and CPU shoots to 100%. With opening NIS there are two nis.exe processes using 50% CPU each! Any small demand of a program results in ultra slow operation. I put Win 7 on my old laptop with 1.5GHz CPU and 2GB RAM and that is great! I cannot believe that this S5200UK machine is limited by the CPU or RAM  as it more that meets the requirements. I have obviously installed drivers (most came with Windows 7 and the others from a driver update program). There are no warnings or conflicts in the Device Manager and I have tried reinstalling everything again twice but it is always the same. I even tried changing the HDD to an IDE 80GB 7200rpm one but it was even slower! I also tried removing the graphics card but no change.Oddly I ran a performance test progam and, other than the memory, it came out better that the dx2000mt!!!! Has anyone got any suggestions as to what is causing this?
    PS: The o/s is OEM for refurbished pcs on genuine hologram disk (no service pack but this was done via Windows Update) I will be very grateful if anyone out there can save my bacon. Thanks.

    Hi:
    The only recommendation I can offer based on what you have posted, would be to ditch the Norton Internet Security software and just run it with Microsoft Security Essentials.
    That free antivirus/antimalware software uses very few system resources.
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5201
    You would also need to use the Norton uninstall tool to make sure it cleans out all traces of the program.
