JTable not scrolling to end of data - Help!
I have a jtable within a scrollpane. About 5 rows of the table are visible within the scrollpane at any given time. I add 80 records to the table, the scrollbar appears but I can only scroll to about the 15th row.
My scrollpane is 468 x 250
My table is 664 x 251
My viewport is 450 x 249.
Is my problem related to the size relationships above or something else?
The table seems to work ok for the rows I can scroll to, including being able to edit one of the columns.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Repeat event option -- end 'on date' not functional
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem
I've selected the "end 'on date'" feature for repeating...
and nothing shows up to type in a date...I had the exact same problem. The first few events I made on my exchange account were repeating ones with an end date. As soon as I refreshed in iCal all of my events disappeared. Since I didn't have any non-end dated events I did not suspect the "end on" date to be the problem. I then stumbled onto your thread, replaced the "end on" date with a certain amount of weeks in outlook live, refreshed my exchange account in ical, and the lost events finally appeared again. It is a very annoying bug, but I am glad that you posted a work around! Hopefully Apple can fix this on the next update??

Mo28uo mouse wheel will not scroll in firefox
I have an IBM model MO28UO mouse. The mouse is unable to scroll up and down pages in Firefox using the wheel. It is able to do this in all other programs I have tried. I have downloaded the latest drivers for the mouse and I have changed the settings on the Firefox about:config page as Firefox advises. However, my mouse will still not scroll in Firefox. Any help is appreciated.
A known problem. Do a search for this.

JScrollPane not scrolling to the end of JTable

I put a table in a scroll pane, and add the scroll pane to a panel. The problem is the scroll pane does not scroll to the end of the table, it always lets me view only the first 37 rows of the table, regardless of how many rows the table actually has. Basically, the scroll pane thinks the table has exactly the same height, no matter how many lines it has. Why is this happening?
The code is something like
model = new SearchResultTableModel(false, null, null);
table = new ResultTable(model);
scrollPane = new JScrollPane(table);
mainBox.add(scrollPane);
If this is important, the table is a bit more complicated, I subclass JTable, use a custom TableModel, several types of cell renderers / editors, so maybe this is why it behaves so strange. How could I tell the scroll pane the table is actually larger?

fireTableDataChanged() is the easiest way to do it, but also that one, that forces JTable to rerender all visible cells, regardless the fact, that they are already displayed and would not need rerendering - if you add a row - for example row 7 - do fireTableRowsInserted(7,7); instead - so JTable will only render this single row if it is visible in the viewport. If you add a couple of rows, for example row 7 to 227, do fireTableRowsInserted(7,227); - always fire only the correct notifications accordingly to the changes you make, in order to keep the performance of JTable high.

After I updated my Ipad2 to IOS5 my calendar lost all appointments. After re-entering a couple of appointments it froze. After getting it going again, the calendar will not populate an end date for the current day and consequently I can't save the appointment. Is this a common problem as I have just purchased this ipad and the calendar function is very important to me.
Hmm... It looks like they are gone forever now then. I can't think of any other way of getting them back apart from restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup. Somebody else might be able to help but I think they're gone forever. I don't know why they were wiped from your iPod but it could be something to do with security. In the future I would recommend syncing to iTunes or iCloud to prevent it from happening again. You can always make a reservation at the Genius Bar and see what those guys can do because it seems that they are still there, they are just 'hidden' from view. http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/gb/en/techsupport/

I connected my ipad and iphone to itunes this morning and downloaded updates...the iphone is fine..but my ipad is giving me the message...you have not signed up for a data plan..but, when it asks me to sign up..the message says Safari can't open the page because it isn't connected to the server...Mail isn't working either...help.
Try this:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -

JTable: having first N columns not scroll with the rest of columns
Hi All,
I'm having trouble wording this properly (hence my inability to google for the solution)...
What I am trying to do is:
* Have a table with N number of columns (for example 100 columns).
* The table is enclosed by scroll pane, so scrolling left and right will show different columns
* I want first X number of columns (say 2 columns) to be always visible (i.e. they should not scroll with the rest of the columns)
Is there a way to accomplish this with one JTable?

What brand/model USB drive? Is it bus or AC powered?
On Mail...
First Quit Mail, then I'd backup these two Mail folders, by right clicking on them in the Finder, then choose Archive/Compress.
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail
Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail Downloads
(Could be a different folder here if you chose such in Mail Prefs)
Right click on that Mail folder, choose archive, you'll get everything in the folder, and the folder itself in a file called Mail.zip, move it to a safe place, same for the Mail Downloads folder... only the plist is separate.
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist -
