JTree background color. How to...?

I have set the background color of Jtree to pink and have used setOpaque(true). Now when ever I click on a node the node's color is not changing to the default blue color. How to change it?

Workspace background color : how to change it ?

Hello,
Is there a way to change the color (a more dark grey) of the background color of the workspace ? I find the one used by PSE4 (and previous versions) too light. I would prefer a more dark grey, like the one used by Photoshop CS2 (and if this one is good, why not the same in PSE4 Mr Adobe ?).

No... for me, a neutral grey is a 50% grey, all backgrounds are about 80% grey (very light).

JTree - background color

iam trying to set the backgroung color of my tree, i tried using tree.setBackground(Color.gray) but it did not work, i checked out the documentation but it did not specify how to do that, please can someone help?

ah i finally got the solution, thanx ttarola for the renderer tip coz that did the trick, here is how i did it:

How can I create an alt background color for items in a jlistbox or jtree

What I'm looking to do is have a white background for say items 1,3,5, etc. and a light yellow background for items 2,4,6, etc. I was wondering how can I set an alternative background color on items in a JTree or a JList

Hi,
several html tags have the attribute bgcolor, like
<body bgcolor="red"> or <body bgcolor="RRGGBB"> where RR, GG, BB is an hexadecimal value according to RGB color palette.
you can also work with CSS and in this case you affect the attribute style, which is also available in several tags:
document.body.style.backgroundColor="#EEEEEE"

How to set background color for a JFrame

Hi,
i am new to swing programming. I have created a JFrame called framehelp and i placed some labels in the frame.
I have set the background color as yellow for the frame ie by setBackground(new java.awt.Color(255, 255, 204));
But after compiling the program i am still getting the background color of frame as gray.
How can i change the background color of frame as lightish yellow.
I have used NETBEANS to generate this code and i am posting the code..

How to preserve a background color, when generating a PDF file

I am trying to create a PDF file from some application. Please note that the picture in this application has the black background. So I invoke a Print command and set a printer as "Adobe PDF". As a result, I have generated
a brilliant PDF file of my picture, but on the WHITE background. When selecting the Adobe PDF printer, I have looked through all its settings ( in the Adobe PDF settings, I have found several tabs: General, Images, Fonts, Color, Advanced, PDF/X), none of them generated the original background color.
So how can a generate a PDF file, having the original background color (black, in my case) ?

Now I feel that the background definition in the Adobe PDF printer and the background definition in the application the Adobe PDF printer is invoked from -- two different things. So I guess how can I define the black background in the Adobe PDF printer? I cannot find such settings.

My background color for all pages has changed to pink, how do I get it back to white?

The background color in all of my screens has switched to pink. How do I get it back to white? I wonder if it changed when I was shopping in a web site and had clicked on a pink watch(?)

How can I change the background color of my podcast's iTunes page?

My RSS feed just got accepted but now I need to customize the title, author, background color, and logo of my site. Does anyone know how to do this? Thank you!

You can't change the background colour - it's white for audio and black for video. The other data can be changed by changing the appropriate tag in the feed, or if you're using a program or online service to make your podcast,. wherever they provide for entering this information.
The title is carried in the 'title' tag; the author in the 'itunes:author' tag, and the 'podcast image' which appears on the Store page in the 'itunes: image' tag. Republish the feed after making the amendments: it will take a couple of days for the new data to appear, though the image may take several days.
The image which appears in some podcasts in the bottom left-hand corner of iTunes when subscribing is not referenced in the feed but has to be actually embedded into the media file: please see this page:

As an example, html widget has white background on iPad, and black on mac. The same goes for interactive widget.
The MathType text inserted is inserted as a image, and will have the same color when in fullscreen as when not. So I need the textcolor to be the same in both views. Anyone know how to fix this?

We're still not communicating. This is why I wanted an example .iba.
Here's a re-creation of my own, going off what you described. You said "all html widgets and all gallery widgets" have this problem. So I inserted a blank HTML widget and a blank Gallery widget, and typed into both. Inserted a MathType equation into both. I don't see any difference when I preview it on my Mac compared to the preview on the iPad. I want to help, but I can't help if I can't duplicate the issue.
