Jumping the OSM order id sequence
Hi,
I want to set the OSM order id generation sequence to some particular level.
Can anyone help, which table order sequence I need to set this value in ?
Regards,
Harry
Hi Brian,
We have some requirement to clean the UAT environment so that it can be used as fresh production environment.
So we need to purge the database completely and also we need to set the order id sequence back to i.e 1.
Regards,
Harry

Why is my QuickTime Pro exporting image sequences in the wrong order?
I am making timelapse films and using QuickTime Pro to export the images as a movie file. I have all the images in a folder named numericaly. I go file>import image sequence click on the first image and import. The images are in the correct order in the source folder I have also checked the resource files under show movie properties and they are in the correct order there. I then export as a QuickTime movie file at 1080p H.264 the film is stepping and the frames are out of sequence in the eported movie file. Why is this? Has anyone come across this before?
Is there anything else I could try.
Not sure. I would likely test an x264 export of the image sequence from QT 7 Pro or MPEG Streamclip (or from HandBrake if your system is not configured with the x264 codec) and see if the result was any better. This is not a problem I run into very often and, even then, the files were sent to me with no real indication of how they were originally encoded.
Or do you know how I can analise the exported file?
Not really... but it would be nice to have a tool which indicated the current frame type and listed pointers to frames/stacks of frames used for rendering reference. -
Confirmation number sequence in the process order
Hi,
When we create a process order , system assigns the confirmation no for each of the operation & these confirmation numbers are in sequence.
In our case we have activity numbers in the recipe as 0010, 0020, 0030, 0040, 0050, 0060...... Subsequently we have inserted operations..now the sequence has become 0010, 0020, 0030, 0040, 0041, 0042, 0050, 0060...... Now when we create the process order, the confirmation numbers for operations 0041, 0042 comes after 0060. We have a development which has a pre-requisite that the sequence of confirmation no's should be as per sequence of operations.
Any idea how to achieve the correct sequence of confirmation no's?
regards,
MohitDear Mohit,
I have find the route cause BUT I Don't know how to fix it
Based on Operation ID, system is creating a confirmation No
Since you have created a operation 41 and 42, System gives the operation ID next to 60
Thats the reason system is giving the confirmation No after 60
I don't know how To add operation ID in routing -
My source file does not stay in the same order when imported to Target
Hi Gurus,
I am importing a file using the LKM to SQL to a target datastore on Oracle. I am using the IKM SQL Control Append but my problem is in my target datastore the order that the flat file is in is not longer together. I added a ROWNUM column and triggered a sequence but the order from the flat file is still not the same as the table. I need the order to remain the same b/c during the load to Planning it holds the metadata order correctly.
Could someone give me a suggestion.
Thanks
MikeAre you using the Planning Metadata load KM. If so there is an option on that KM Called Load by Input Order which repsects the order of your data in the source when loading to Planning

How to add media in the album order?
I spent some time to organize the media in Organizer album, but when I open the album to add my media, it appears to be mixed. Is there the way to keep it in the album order?
Seems like this question was posted some time ago, and no one ever replied. So my reply is probably of little use, but I'll post it anyway. When you are viewing the Album components in the PSE Organizer, I assume you are viewing them in the sequence you want to load them on the PRE timeline.
If that is the case, by selecting all of the clips/images, and the clicking on Edit > Video Editor at the bottom of the window should open the clips/images in the same order they appear in the Album. -
Delta CIF activation for the sales orders
HI,
I am running in the background all teh master data models between R3 and APO, and updating the stocks for the new items as well.
Should I run (generate and activate delta) periodically the sales order integration model?
Thanks a lotYou'll need to execute /CFM1 and /CFM2 whenever you have NEW RELEVANT MATERIALS for the SCM.
When you have this, you can generate a new version of the already active IM and activate it via /CFM2. This will transfer only the newly created materials.
After this, you'll need to run the same operations for your transaction data, since the existing /CFM1 selection and active IM do not include these materials.
My recommendation is that you schedule a daily or weekly job for the involved objects. This is the sequence SAP recommends you to run:
Suggestion for the Structure of the Master Data Integration Model
The following objects should each be grouped together in a separate integration model and activated in the sequence given:
1. ATP Customizing and product allocation Customizing
2. Plant (plant + distribution centers)
3. Classes and characteristics
4. Material masters
5. Networks
6. Maintenance orders
7. MRP areas + material masters for MRP areas
8. Planning product (this is a special case, see 'Transfer of Data Changes' for more information)
9. Availability check
10. Product allocation
11. Customer and vendor data (these may need to be separated. See below, Suggestion for the Structure of Transaction Data Integration Model, Stocks)
12. Work centers (this is a special case, see 'Transfer of Data Changes')
13. Production process model (this is a special case, see 'Transfer of Data Changes')
14. Delivery schedules, contracts, and purchasing info records (this is a special case, see 'Transfer of Data Changes')
Suggestion for the Structure of the Transaction Data Integration Model
The following objects should each be grouped together in a separate integration model and activated in the sequence given:
1. Stocks (if you hold special stocks at the customer or vendor, the relevant customer or vendor must be contained in the same integration model)
2. Sales orders (contains sales orders, deliveries, scheduling agreements, quotations, and customer independent requirements)
3. Purchase orders and purchase requisitions
4. Production/process orders + planned orders (these may need to be separated). These have to be activated before production campaigns
5. Manual reservations and planned independent requirements
6. Production campaigns + process/planned orders
7. Shipments
This was extracted from the following help.sap.com address: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_scm50/helpdata/en/74/d67237902ae147e10000009b38f842/content.htm
Create a new job in /SM36.
Steps should include, for each object:
a) RIMODGEN - IM creation
b) RIMODAC2 - IM activation
Since you'll be running this job periodically, it's nice to also add to your job report RIMODDEL, that delete the useless old inactive versions of the IMs from table CIF_IMOD.
I hope this answered your question!

How to delete the production order in mass?
Dear Experts
Please tell me how to delete the old production orders?Raja,
CO78 is a one stop transaction for production order setting deletion flag, deletion indicator, archiving and finally deleting.
Generally we schedule the following programs in background in the sequence below,
1. PPARCHP1 for Setting Deletion Flag
2. PPARCHP1 for Setting Deletion Indicator (Once set cannot be revoked- so care should be taken in selection of orders)
3. PPARCHA1 for archiving the production order with Deletion Indicator active. Basis should set the database/storage space for archiving/storing the records.
4. PPARCHD1 for Deleting the records from SAP database.

Is there a way to permanently set the mailbox order?
Is there a way to permanently set the sequence in which mailboxes are displayed in the left-most panel of Mail? I can drag and drop the mailboxes into the order I want, and they seem to stick around - at least until I update any of the accounts. The moment I update an accounts prefernces in Preferences, Accounts, the display order is set to the same order that appears on the preferences display.
I have a fairly large number of email accounts, and often have to tweak settings, so it's a bit of a pain to have to reset the order every time I make a change.
This is occurring on both my MBP and my iMac.Same question.
I recently left Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion.
Previously, in the side bar of Mail, (the one you make visible using "Show" in a previous post here), I was able to drag and drop any of the Reception mailboxes to the place I wanted to select, to put them in the order I wished, and this order remained until I decide to change it.
This seems not possible any more, or... just for the current session. If I close Mail and reopen, Reception boxes are re-ordered in alphabetic way.
Any way to make my choice permanent as before ???
To make it more clear, ordering my way is possible by drag and dropping for private mailboxes, but not for reception mailboxes associated to different mail accounts, the order is lost once Mail is closed. -
Premier 11 adds my clips in the wrong order
I have 2155 photos I'm trying to add to Premier Elements. They are in order 1-2155 but when Premier adds them it is out of order. For example photo #32 is moved directly after photo #320. Every # with a 0 at the end causes the same # without a zero to follow it...
I tried renaming them IMG_0001 but it became IMG_0001 (1)... and the same issue occured.
The last order it placed the clips in was:
0001
0010
0100
1000
1001
1002
1003
1004
1005
1006
then at 1019 it jumps to 102 then 1020...As long as all of the numbers have the same number of digits (zeroes in front those less than 4 digits long), they should be in the correct order.
In other words, instead of 1, 2, 3, 4 ... 2100, 2101, etc., number them as:
0001, 0002, 0003, 0004, etc. -
Free Goods not appearing in the Sales Order
Hi,
I have created the condition record for Exclusive free goods for a material. However when i create a sales order with the same material, the free goods materials is not appearing.
I did a Free goods Analysis in the sales order and when i checked the field values, I found that for a particular access sequence it says "Access not made ( initialized field)"
Please help.
Thanks.Hi,
This error usually happens when we donot maintain any of the fields in the access sequence that we use.For Eg., if your access sequence is Sales Org/Dist Channel/Mat group and if you fail to maintain your condition record with the same sequence, you will get this error. Please maintain the condition record with the respective access sequence and you will not get this error. Please try and confirm.
(Also in the above example even if you maintain condition record and didnot maintain material group in the materisl master you will get this error. So check all the possibilities and confirm.)

Jump from Sales Order to Purchase Order and back again (all in change mode)
Hi,
Situation is this:
- Sales Order is created with 10 items. 4 items are created with connection to Purchase Order.
- User open Sales Order in change mode
- User goes to item 20 that has a related Purchase Order
- User wants to jump to related Purchase Order and make an update here
- User wants to be able to jump back to Sales Order Item 20 from Purchase Order
When user jumps to Purchase Order in change mode, then this Purchase Order will also block the same Sales Order, that was open. This can be handled with dequeue and enqueue.
Problem is that when Purchase Order is saved it will make an update to the Sales Order in the background. When user jumps back to Sales Order then this Sales Order is still open with old data and these data does not reflect data that can have been updated by the Purchase Order.
Also: When Purchase Order is making updates to the Sales Order then e.g. Message Out Table NAST is automatically updated (insert and delete records). If user then manually updates the Sales Order with old information, then System Dump appears as Sales Order tries to insert NAST records, that have already been inserted or delete NAST records that have already been deleted via the Purchase Order.
This means that when user jumps back from Purchase Order to Sales Order Item 20 then Sales Order needs to be refreshed with new data after Purchase Order has saved the Sales Order.
Are there any solution to do this in a standard way (from within SAPMV45A) ?
I prefer not to reopen Sales Order using syntax like CALL TRANSACTION.Hi,
Thanks for reply.
In third party PR gets created automatically but PO gets create manually. So changes get refelect in PR only not in PO.
Can you give me the solution for completing this task.
Thanks & Regards

How to check the Production order exits
Hi Experts
Modification to processing of Command Orders & Tickets
We require a modification to the processing being performed on sales data originating from the Command Concrete system and potentially from other systems yet to come online (e.g. Pinkenba Cement plant).
The Sap process involved is ZINT_INBOUND_POLLING and within that, ZINT_CSTPORD_ROUTINES.
The problem
Currently there is an assumption that every sales order (and its deliveries) will include a product which is made to order, i.e. for which a production order will be required.
In ZINT_CSTPORD_ROUTINES, a check is made to identify the production order linked to the sales order. If there is no such production order (usually because of the customeru2019s credit status) then processing of the ticket is terminated.
This assumption would fall down if an order was to be raised (in Command) on which there is no concrete material. For example, if we sold a bag of pigment or a screed to a customer. In this case the item would be sold from stock and there would be no need for a production order.
The solution
In the routine which checks for the existence of a production order, modify the code as follows:
Inspect each item on the sales order
If (and only if) there is at least one item with a category of u201CZTACu201D then check for a production order, otherwise process the order in the usual manner.

krishnaHi,
I came across a similar situation once. I dont remember exactly.
We have two different DataSources on wbs hierarchy. The hiearchy was loaded using the two datasources.
By mistake we were trying to use the hierarchy created by Datasource2, instead of hier created by datasource1.
Can you check that. -
NO MATERIALs in the Sales order created through inbound idoc file
hi,
i have maintained the customer material number as well the SAP Material number in the tcode VD51,but still the inbound
idoc type ORDERS03 is posting the application document(Sales order) without the materials.
for instance,
I have cust.material as CUSTMAT1 in the idoc file.
I have maintained the CUSTMAT1 as cust material and 1001 as material no in VD51.
After posting the inbound idoc file using RSEINB00 prg,the idoc is created and i can see the CUSTMAT1 in the material segment field
The Sales order is created successfully ,but without the materials.
i need the application document has to be posted with materialsm, can any one help me to solve this issue.?
ThanksHi ganesh ram
In order to determine the Material Number with you custom material then you needs to have some configurations.
Check with your Functional consultant to add the Access sequence for determining the Material Number with you custom material
In Sale order processes...

Report based on Serial Number generated in the Production Order
Hi,
I wish to generate a Customized report, which shall include the total consumption based on Sales Order/Line Item/Serial Number/Production Order matching the Serial Number generated in the Production Order where in we can get the required data.
Need your help and suggestions in creating this report..
Thanks in advance..
Ashok Vardhan
Edited by: Ashok T Vardhan on Jan 19, 2012 11:38 AMHello Tman,
This is a slightly tricky question. The reason being, the report options like the report path etc, are set before you see the serial number prompt when you run your UUT. There might be other ways of getting around this, but a quick solution would be modifying the process model.
I modified the PreUUT callback to set the report options. I passed the reportOptions as a parameter to this sequence. In the PreUUT sequence, I set the following fields:
Parameters.ReportOptions.GeneratePath=False
Parameters.ReportOptions.ReportFilePath= "c:\\"+ Locals.SerialNumber +"\\report.xml"
I hope this would give you an idea.
