Just got a new imac, my email set up fine on it, but I need to get the email folders from comcast transferred to the new imac...how do I do this?
How do I transfer my email folders on comcast over to my new imac? I am getting email but need the folders which have all my old/saved items.

Our daughter just got an iPad mini and I originally set it up under my Apple ID in order to create an Apple ID for her (she's under 13 so I set up iCloud family)... is there any way to switch the main user to her so that she can use iMessage and such under her own account? I just got an iPad3. It synced with my PC where I have my iPhone synced. Trouble is that it synced years of pictures from my PC photo album. Now there isn't room for apps, updating apps, or other. How do I remove the pictures from my iPad? I want to update to software 6.0
Synced photos can't be deleted directly on the iPad, instead they are deleted by not including them in the next photo sync.
Connect and select your iPad on the left-hand side of your computer's iTunes, and on the right-hand side there should be a series of tabs, one of which should be Photos - if you select that tab you can then select which photo folders to sync to/remain on the iPad. There is a bit more info on this page. -

You can share your calendar with your other ID as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mm6b1a9479. Or, you can add your iPad iCloud account to your phone as a secondary account by going to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars>Add Account>iCloud, signing in with your iPhone's iCloud ID, then enabling Calendar syncing.

I have a iphone 4 with att my 2 sons just got 4s from verizon I set them up on my itunes account I was getting there emails I made them thier own I tunes accounts and this is still happening. How can I fix it?

You need to use the Apple IDs that you created for them for iCloud as well as iTunes. You will also find that you need to use them for messages and face time. -
We just got 2 iPad air today and Set up both with the same Apple ID, now I'm getting FaceTime and messages for my 12 yr. old. Do I have to set up a separate Apple ID for her to avoid this?
It's a trust issue. You can set them up so you don't receive each other's messages as long as you each have your own email address.
The trust issue is the fact that either of you can change the separation at any time via Settings by checking the appropriate (inappropriate?) email address.
To be absolutely sure you can never receive each other's messages will require two Apple IDs. -

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
The reset link for the security question will send the email to your rescue email account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 - that is the email account that you are checking, and you've checked the spam folder on it as well as the inbox, and tried clicking the reset link again ?
If you aren't receivineg the email then you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to view your rescue email address to check that it's correct, in case you need to use it in the potential future use -
My Mac crashed. I got a new hard drive. I reinstalled Lightroom. Fortunately ircats are stored on an external drive. How do I import all of the old catalogues from external drive into a new LR catalogue. I have done it before. It has just been many years and I can't recall how.
If you had stored your catalog files on an external drive, then all you have to do is double-click on them to open them and use them.
Or you could move them to the internal drive and double-click on them once the move is completed.
To create a single catalog file from multiple ones, you could use File->Import from Another Catalog -

I just got my MacBook Pro a month ago. However I am realizing I need more hard drive space due to aps and programs. I use am external but am concerned about the space. Is there a way to upgrade my hard drive from apple and keep my warranty valid?
That would depend on whether your model actually has a hard drive. If you have the new 2013 Retina model, then you have a fixed storage device built-in that cannot be modified after purchase.

Are you sure that the "On My Mac" folders weren't empty? If all your mail accounts are IMAP, they may have been.
