Votes please for the best or most popular web games (especially java applets) which don't need the big downloads that most people, however strongly we feel about it, just don't make.
Most of the Java stuff is sprite puzzles and retro clones - fun, often quite clever and creative, but I haven't seen one that really stands out against the others. Searching the forum, I get the impression your answer would be Tailgunner. Again, fun for a bit, but surely not the best in the world!

Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones.

The game Civ5 processes a turn in single core mode. It says “please wait” while it processes a turn. If the intel i7 CPU is “fourth generation” it is twice as fast for civ5 turn processing. It does not matter if you have more memory or a better graphics chip. So, I can get a smaller cheeper Apple computer as long as it is fourth generation. I tested three new iMacs, two new MacPros and two mac minis.

I have looked at that darned “please wait” message for years. Now it can be 60 seconds on a new MacPro6,1 or late 2012 Mac mini and 30 seconds on a new iMac. Even the 21.5 iMac 3.1 GHz has 3.9 GHz turbo boost for single core and it is supposed to be fourth generation.
Some of that does not seem to true for the new 21.5 inch iMac I just tested (Fusion drive). Mac Mini 54 seconds 21.5 iMac 49 seconds.

InDesign is from a technical viewpoint a Plugin Activator.
Every function is a plugin.
With CC and higher you can change the language in the CC app preferences.
When you change the language, additonal plugins, necessary for that language are installed, with the MENA (Middle East North Africa) versions RTL functionality is added into your primary version.
InDesign chooses to start the program in the same language as you OS is set up, RTL functionality appears translated into your normal User Interface.
After installing a MENA version you can switch back to your main language.

TestStand 4.1.1 Evaluation Version Limitation? or I just don't know what I am doing?

I am currently using TestStand 4.1.1 Evaluation version. I looking at customize the interface. I am using LabWindow CVI. I opened the source and its UIR. I tried to add a button on the panel, but it doesn't seem to change any appearance at all when I compiled and run the executable. I wonder if it is because I am using evaluation version or I just don't know I am doing?!
Secondly, I am also look at integrating source control into TestStand. From the standard menu, I saw grayed out "Source Control" option. Again, is it is because of the evaluation version? Or if I need to setup something in order for this to work? Currently, in my computer, I know I have SourceSafe.
Any information would be great!

i am not aware of any books that help much in this rather special case.
Taking a look into the function which does the resizing:
static int ArrangeControls(int processEvents)
you can see that the code first of all asks for the size of the whole panel.
After this, this size is split up into different rectangles which represent the different parts of the panel (e.g. tab control).
Each rectangle has now the size fitting to the current panel size. So all you need to do next is to step into each pane and resize its controls (e.g. buttons, listboxes,...)
So you see a lot of SetCtrlAttribute-calls with the parameter ATTR_WIDTH and ATTR_HEIGHT.
All you need to do is to include your control in this algorithm for the appropriate pane you used to place your control.

I think that we have made a major breakthrough here.
First this is not a Premiere Elements 12 (video editing issue as first thought).
This is a Photoshop Elements 12 Elements Organizer 12 (photo editing issue).
From what you wrote, this program is on Windows 8 64 bit computer. Typically these programs need to be run as Run As Admininstrator or from a User Account with Administrative Privileges. Typical that permissions message pops up each time you open the program after you apply the Run As Administrator. Do you know if the User Account you are using now has Administrative Priviledges? We can talk about that more later. I do not want to distract you with User Account right now. For now, leave Run As Administrator with the Yes to the pop up when you open the program.
Right click the desktop icon for Photoshop Elements 12. Select Properties and go to the Compatibility Tab. Under the Compatibility Tab, remove any check mark next to Compatibility/"Run this program in compatibility mode for...". There is no reason to be running Photoshop Elements 12 in Windows 8 64 bit in the compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3.
Now back to the Elements Organizer 12 where you appear to have placed 470 photos as thumbnails. For now, leave them as is. Close out of Elements Organizer 12 and Photoshop Elements 12.
Then open Photoshop Elements 12 to the Full Editor. Will it do that? Determine Yes or No. And, then close the program.
Open Photoshop Elements 12 to the Elements Organizer 12. Select one of the photo thumbnails there. Then go down to the Editor Tab at the bottom of the Elements Organizer 12 interface. Click on the small vertical panel next to the name Editor to bring up the pop up with the choices of External Editor, Video Editor, Photo Editor. Select Photo Editor. Does the photo thumbnail that you selected in the Elements Organizer 12 now open in the Photoshop Elements 12 Full Editor?
Please stop at that point and let us know the results.

I have texts from a friend. I want to tell someone else what thier cell phone number is. I go to the under contact.
There are three numbers, all in a row — how do I tell which one the texts are coming from (and going to)?

The easiest option would to purchase a backup hard drive and store your data there. Hard drives are getting cheaper all the time, and all you have to do is drag and drop. Lots of good choices here, but I've had good luck with the super-reliable G Drive and the Seagate Freeagent Go.

Our iCal is refusing to refresh, we're using mobileme and that account all looks good. Just suddenly refusing to refresh. Have resubscribed everyone, just don't know what's up with it? Any ideas? we rely on it to keep everyone on schedule!

Doh, I thought I had to cram the question into those few words - didn't realise it wa sa title! Our iCal has just recently refused to automatically refresh - if you delete it and subscribe again it won't let you. All machines affected. We use MobileMe and I've been on the account and all looks good. Is there someone we can phone to talk this through? We're a mag so we really need to all work on the same schedule and know who is off etc? Any clues?

Have you got a firewall? - these can sometimes cause problems.
If you are in a business environment and all on the same LAN, you might like to consider abandoning MobileMe and buying BusyCal. It's like iCal Pro in effect, with more facilities, including the ability to display ToDos in the day area: it uses the same database as iCal.
You would revert to local calendars, and BusyCal can sync them instantly between computers on the same network, with read/write access if required. (Syncing can only take place when Macs are on).
It's available in the Mac App Store and their site has a free trial period (it's more expensive on the site so you would want to delete the trial and buy from the App Store).

HT4060 My ipad is being wierd! I just want to know whats wrong and if I can do anything about it...

I was given an iPad from a friend who didnt use it and it had a broken screen.
I had a company change the screen but they also changed the battery and charger part because it wasnt charging.
I was away traveling so Ieft the ipad at the store to be fixed for a few months.
Now when Im home i put it in the charger and it says 100% charged in a few seconds and then it turns off when i unplugg it.
Could it be that the new batteries need more time to charge before they will be ok?
Or did they go bad because they never got charged for a few months?
Thankful for any comments and advices!

From what you describe, the device probably had problems before you got it. If it was me, I would not send good money after what was spent. Apple does have some sort of allowance program for broken iPads.
