JVM crashes after ClassLoader-problem in Eclipse-Plugin using Eclipse 3.4

Hi all
while using plug-in com.lti.civil for displaying webcam in a SWT-Window or Swing-Frame the JVM crashed before displaying the stream.
It isn't happening when using in a normal java-project. it happens when it's implemented in a plugin.
I think it is a class-loader-problem.
I've debugged and came to the following technical result:
- Class NativeVideoFormat not found
- NoClassDefFoundError: 40
- JVM (jdk1.6.0_07\jre\bin) crashed with exit code -1073741819
I'm looking for days for a solution. Please somebody may help me!

The crash log is pretty generic, it's hard to say where exactly it crashed... The best way to report such incidents is to file bugs to JavaFX JIRA (http://javafx-jira.kenai.com), but without a details crash log or a test case, the bug will likely be closed as not reproducible.

    i was able to download the plugins and then install it (without using update manager for downloading the plugin) in a 30 min.

  • Problem installing FlexBuilder Plugin for Eclipse

    I'm trying to install the latest Flex Builder plugin under
    Eclipse 3.4 under Mac OSX. I installed the plugin per the Adobe
    instructions, added the folder to the "List of Available Software"
    in the Eclipse dialog for managing plugins, then tried to install
    it. Here's the error message:
    Cannot complete the request. See the details.
    Cannot find a solution satisfying the following requirements

  • Debugging with Eclipse Plugin using Weblogic 6.1

    I am having a problem debugging using Eclipse 2.1 and the weblogic server plugin
    provided by this site.
    If I start the server and run the application everything works fine.
    If I put a breakpoint into my code and then run the application I do not see the
    application breaking at all. I am in debug view of Eclipse. The browser just
    hangs and will not respond. I can take the breakpoint off and refresh the browser
    and it works fine again.
    Do I need to have anything special in a configuration file for weblogic to enable
    debugging ?
    Do I need to start the JVM with any special parms. I am currently using the following
    startup options. I have tried a number of configurations on the startup options
    and nothing works.
    -hotspon
    -ms64m
    -mx256m
    -Xdebug
    -Djava.compiler=none
    -Xnoagent
    -Dweblogic.ProductionModeEnabled=false
    I am using Weblogic 6.1 and JDK 1.3.1_09

  • Cannot add javafx eclipse plugin to Eclipse, need help doing so

    After following the instructions for installing the javafx eclipse plugin, I am on the step where you add available software by typing in the link "http://javafx.com/downloads/eclipse-plugin/" and you select the software to install... the problem that is occuring is that it is prompting me for a username and password. The username and password I am providing is the one I use on oracle; yet, it is saying my login details were not accepted. The walkthrough does not mention this step at all. Please help!

    Is that a bad location?Yes, JavaFX 1.x is, for all intents and purposes, dead and that plugin is for the unsupported JavaFX Script which shipped with JavaFX 1.x and is not applicable to (and incompatible with) JavaFX 2.x.

    Usually if you try to install an add-on packaged as a .xpi file, it contains a list of compatible Firefox versions and Firefox won't enable it unless you are running one of those versions. So... I think the question should be directed toward whoever packages the add-on. I searched a bit, but couldn't figure out who is in charge of that.

  • System crashes after waking; problems with distnoted, graphics chip error

    I am running 10.3.9 on a Dual 1 GHz G4, with 1.5 GB SDRAM, a GeForce4 Ti 4600 LCD display, and a LaCie 1394 external drive. I have recently started to put my computer to sleep at night, rather than leaving it running 24 hours a day (I also installed sleepwatcher, to allow me to put my computer to sleep remotely, and anacron, to allow the nightly system maintenance jobs to continue to run). This was working fine for about a week, but for the last two days, when I woke my computer up in the morning, I got kernel panics after a few minutes. First some aspects of the display would start to get mangled (e.g. strange lines appearing, some text that I typed not showing up, icons in the dock looking speckled, etc.), then some applications would stop responding, and then a minute or so later I would get the feared kernel panic message ("You need to restart your computer" in multiple languages).
    This problem only seems to occur after the computer has been asleep for a long time (I've only experienced it after it's been asleep for 12 hours or so, and not when it's only been asleep for a few minutes). The only thing I can think of that I've changed in the last few days is an AppleScript that mounts my external LaCie drive (using "do shell script diskutil mountDisk ...") before backing up my files - using FoldersSynchronizer - then putting my computer to sleep (before I was never UNmounting this drive, so I didn't have to mount it in the AppleScript - I was still using the script to back up the files then put the computer to sleep).
    I have tried running Apple's Disk Utility (both to repair the permissions, and to repair the disk), DiskWarrior (to rebuild my startup disk), fsck, and TechTool Deluxe. None seemed to reveal any major errors except the "Surface Scan" in TechTool, which failed, presumably because of media defects in the disk (but my understanding is that fixing this would require reformatting my disk, something that I only want to do as a last resort).
    My system.log shows the following, from the time I woke my computer to the time I restarted (I've highlighted some suspicious-looking lines). It seems like the problem might either be occurring in distnoted, or with the graphics chip. Any thoughts on how I can determine the cause of the problem?

    After a little experimentation, I've managed to narrow the problem down a little, but still haven't resolved it. My computer still crashes almost every time I wake it up after a long sleep (multiple hours). Things work fine for a few minutes, but then some aspects of the display start to get mangled (e.g. strange lines appearing, text becoming distorted, etc.), then some applications start crashing and the system hangs. Sometimes I get a kernel panic, but not always - but I always need to reboot to solve the problem.
    The errors in the system log files differ from crash to crash, but the one thing that seems to be consistent is that I get a "Graphics chip error". Is this usually a hardware problem, or can it be due to a software problem? Sometimes this graphics chip error is the first error to occur, although sometimes an application will crash a few seconds before the graphics chip error is recorded in the system.log.
    In my original post, I suggested that the problem might be due to an AppleScript that mounts an external drive. I have since determined that this is NOT the cause of the problem.
    Any thoughts on what might be going on?

  • Bizarre Crash After Startup problem

    I have been having a very annoying problem with my PB for a while now that came to a head earlier today. All relevant software updates have been installed.
    Recent changes: upgraded from 1 to 2GB of RAM.
    Very shortly after startup (usually within a minute) the machine crashes. I have noticed 4 different presentations:
    1). This is the most common. The screen will "blip" after which the computer no longer accepts any commands, though I can still move the cursor around. Most of the time, right after the screen blip, a tight row of small vertical multi-colored lines will appear somewhere on the screen.
    2) No screen "blip" but the comptuer still freezes. Usually this occurs after logging in but before the desktop fully loads, though sometimes this happens immediately after the desktop finishes loading. Usually I will not have cursor control after this.
    3) Screen blip, with cursor control, but the computer has crashed. Then the "beach Ball" appears for a few seconds, followed by the pointing hand cursor (when the hand should not appear).
    4) This is the rarest type of crash. The screen will blip, I will lose cursor control, then the screen slowly starts fading away to white (one horizontal line at a time).
    The bizarre thing is that once I restart, only very rarely will it crash a second time. It will work perfectly and remain stable as long as I need it to. But once the computer has sat idle for abour 6 hours or more (typically overnight), it will be prone to a freeze again within a minute of being used. It does not matter whether it had been shut down completely, put into Sleep, or just left sitting idle.
    I had initially thought that perhaps the problem was related to a recent RAM upgrade (though of course the problem didn't begin in earnest until AFTER the 14 day return period for the RAM had expired), but because of what happened earlier today, I no longer believe that to be the case.
    Today I found it necessary to take the computer on the road with me. I had only planned on using it for a few minutes (I just needed to show someone reference photos for a project we were working on) so I didn't bother to bring the power adapter with me (plus I hadn't felt like crawling under my desk to retrieve it).
    Once I got there, the comptuer crashed immediately (it had been asleep). But this time, instead of settling down after the first crash, it kept crashing. Reboot after reboot after reboot and I couldn't get more than about a minute out of it before it crashed again. I tried removing and reseating the RAM to no avail. I stubbornly kept trying though about 20 reboots. Finally, having lost my patience (and suppressing an urge to hurl the machine through a window) I left it where it was (in the care of a friend) drove home, got the power adapter and went back. I plugged it in, started it up, it crashed once, then settled down and was usable again.
    Any ideas as to what might be causing this? I hope it isn't something that will require me to get a new machine. I use this one every day and can't afford to replace it right now. Thank you in advance.
    EDIT: I haven't tried reinstalling the old RAM to see if that solves the problem, but based on what happened while on battery, I no longer believe it's a RAM related issue.

    Well, six weeks later.....
    I did try reinstalling the original RAM. With the old RAM in place, the problem persists. If anything it's even worse now. Now the comptuer is susceptible to crashing at pretty much any time. It's getting to the point where it's almost unusable.
    I'm not sure if it will help, but at one point I took a digital picture of the screen after a crash. This shows what is typical of the "type 1" crash. Since apparently images aren't allowed here, here's a direct link to the photo.

  • Problem with Flex Plugin for eclipse

    I have downloaded the latest Europa Eclipse and also the the
    Flex builder plugin. The Flex wizard for installing the plugin
    tells me to select the folder where my eclipse is installed. When I
    do this, I get an error message saying that I must choose a valid
    3.* Eclipse directory.
    I have no idea what the problem is?????

  • About JVM crash after every 3 hours

    I am working on a web-application in which i am using tomcat web-server 4.2 and jdk 1.6. i have got memory problems.
    when i starts tomcat server many clients gets login and then memrory used by java process goes on increase continously, it reachs around 3GB and then JVM got crash. i am using JNI bcoz backend for my project is c-database, so i have to allocates lots of memrory in JNI also. so where is actually memory problem comes, in JNI memrory or in Java (JVM) memrory. looking for your positive reply.

    A system crash which is creates a windows system error dialog or a unix dump file means you have an error in your C code.
    A clean exit via a java exception means that you either have a problem in your JNI code in terms of java objects or something in your java code. Either would produce a memory exception.

    I got a "Precondition Failed" while trying to use apache + mod_ssl + mod_wl128_20.so.
    I am using Apache 2.0.52 & WebLogic 8.1 SP4 on Windows 2K Server.
    The web.xml is something like this:

    The proxy of http is fine and I can also use port virtualhost 443 map to weblogic http (port 7001).
    But when I use 443 map to 7002 (SSL), I got an error:
         Precondition Failed
         The precondition on the request for the URL /MyPortal/appmanager/Portal/desktop evaluated to false.
    When I turned on the DEBUG ALL in httpd.conf, I find an error message:

    I got past the initial problem. You need to run der2pem and use the pem file not the der file.

    //...The problem might be caused by initializing MIDP UI stuff prior to entering startApp method. I also think that overriding MIDlet constructor is not quite a good idea. Check [MIDP tutorials (Google search shows plenty)|http://www.google.com/search?q=MIDP+tutorials] if you're interested to know more details on that.

  • Windows Crashes after last "windows security updates" ( windowsupdate ) using Extigy!

    Im having to turn off the extigy, so my windows xp can start!
    I installed last updates at windowsupdate.microsoft.com (windows xp security issues of october/2005). Now, system crashes if extigy is turned on! A blue screen with an error message and some codes apear....

    0x80131904 translates to COR_E_SqlException. Typically this will be an MDF/LDF file out of space, or the volume that those files reside on being out of space. Check that first, then also check the SQLERROR log file for any issues.
