JVM for AMD64 unable to load 32-bits DLL on Win64

Hi all,
I get an java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError while doing a System.loadLibrary() on Windows x64 (AMD64) with following message: %1 is not a valid win32 application Note the same DLL is successfully loaded by standard JVM (32-bits) on same OS.
Anyone knows this problem ?

We had Oracle 11.1.0.7.0 32-bit EE on Windows 2003 32-bit EE and now migrated to 64-bit (both OS and DB) and everything worked brilliantly ok except...
Problem:
We used to be able to connect to an external application (Postcode Plus from AFD) via extproc to search postcodes / addresses etc. However, after the migration getting the error:
ORA-06520: PL/SQL: Error loading external library
ORA-06522: Unable to load DLL
The listener.ora and tnsnames.ora configuration as exactly same as what we had on 32-bit machine (except the host name).

Questions:
1. Does extproc for Oracle 64-bit 11.1.0.7 on Win 2003 64-bit load 32 bit DLL?
2. When searched got a quite of lot link about extproc32 (for all versions of UNIX), but not for Windows and found this link Extproc32 installation Does that mean it is not possible to load 32-bit DLL on 64-bit Windows installation?
3. Is there any workarounds? Or am I stumped so I should now go back and reinstate the 32-bit installation?
Any input / recommendation is appreciated!!

Unable to load gpib-32.dll when running the visual basic 2008 program

I installed NI-488.2 into my PC, window 7 64 bit OS.
In the program >> project> add reference>.NET, I successfully add the NI.4882 into my visual basic program.
By the way, this program worked well in another window 7 32 bit PC.
But when I run the program at ildev(BDINDEX,.........), error comes up as "unable load DLL gpib-32.dll".
So when I looked at c:\windows\system32, I can not fine gpib-32.dll.
Doesn't NI-488.2 driver install gpib-32.dll?
How can I install gpib-32.dll?

The problem is GPIB statement like ildev() looks for "gpib-32.dll".
But there was no gpib-32.dll installed in "c:\windows\system32" so error comes up with "unable to load gpib-32.dll".
I did the same procedure in my another PC(window 7 32 bit OS,my current PC is window 7 64 bit OS), and in that PC I can see the gpib-32.dll in that directory and program run without problem.
I do not know how gpib-32.dll was installed in my previous PC.

You need to start thinking in terms of .NET

Unable to load the support DLL (webaccess setup)

Hi,
I'm installing GW8 SP2 HP3. So far I've installed the domain, PO and GWIA. They work just fine. Now I'm trying to install the WebAccess agent. When I run the setup I receive the following error message:
Unable to load the support DLL:
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\2\{ad3aed10-0f09-11d3-93d8-0008c7392dd7}\WAZAGB32.DLL
When I go to that temp location, the files are all there, including the above mentioned DLL. In my forum searches I found similar messages, but they were all caused by a missing Novell Client. I have the Novell Client 2 SP1 installed. I even installed the latest IR9 update to see if that helped.
I installed the previous hotpatch just fine (GW8SP2HP2). When I try to run the old hotpatch webaccess installer, it fails with the same error. So obviously something changed between the time I installed the previous and this hotpatch on my system. I just can't figure out what.
Does anyone have an idea as to what might be causing this error?
I'm running on Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1

Berkeley DB XML Can't load 32-bit .dll on a 64-bit platform Netbeans

Hi I am trying to use Berkely DB in netbeans java on 64-bit windows platform. I have downloaded and configured JDK 7 32 bit in project properties. It works well for a simple java project but when i do the same for a web application in netbeans for glassfish or Apache Tomcat Servers it gives this exception

This problem was also coming before for simple java app but it resolved after configuring jdk in project properties but for web application its not working

XML berkley db doesnt seem to support the java 64 bit model.
In our Java application we get this error when using JRE7 but not JDK7 or JRE6
The difference seemed to be that in JDK7 and JRE6 you can use java -D32, but thats not possible in JRE7 (you must use java -D64. So it seems to be a difference in JRE7 and JDK7 as well

Unable to load 32 bit client on 64 bit windows 7 Enterprise

I got a new PC at work and tried doing my oracle installs but I keep having failures on the 32 bit Oracle client install. What happens is that the install proccedes without issue until the copy files step at which it freezes at 8% progress. When I look in the oracle_home folder I find an inventory directory and nothing more. When I go to the program files or program files(x86) directory I find that the oracle directory has not been created. When I try the install with the 64 bit version I have no issues. Unfortunatelly there are a number of products that still require the 32 bit client software, such as TOAD. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could possibly be causing this?

Pl identify which exact version of Oracle you are installing. If you want to install both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, the ORACLE_BASE directory has to be different

I suggest that your run the Acrobat Cleaner Tool http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
then download and reinstall the latest Reader from http://get.adobe.com/reader/enterprise/

I own iTunes 10.5 beta 3 64-bit for my 64-bit windows 7 pc, and it gives me this message whenever I try to sync ANY of my devices: "iTunes was unable to load class data information from Sync Services". I own an old iPod video and an iPhone 4 with iOS 5 beta 3. I've tried uninstalling all Apple products, searching through my hard drive and deleting everything Apple, cleaning the registry, EVERYTHING. I've reinstalled at least 4 times now. I cancel the message and iTunes proceeds to sync with my iPhone 4. The phone and iTunes software are the latest releases. itunes was unable to load provider from sync services... and on top of that when i click on any apps i download it looks like its going to open for a split sec and then go back to where u click the apps in the menu. from what i read they are two different bugs but i havnt came across any fixes that work

I've tried resetting sync history with no avail. On the "Info" tab of the device (iPhone 4), I am unable to check the "Sync Contacts with" and "Sync Calendars with" options. Until about a week ago, it always synchronised with Outlook 2010 without a problem. What can I do to fix this?
