Kdm disappeared after 3.4 upgrade

Question

after this upgrade the kdm startup script disappeared from rc.d
how do i restore it or is there a new equivalen?

You can create this file using an editor:

It is still there on my machine using the new KDE 3.4 version, so there is probably something wrong.
