Keep in URL parameters shopid and language
We use B2C ISA 5.0. When we use parameters like ?shopid=XXXXXX&language=en to log into B2C, these parameters disappear from the URL. How can we keep in the URL these parameters for the session in Explorer.
Regards,
These initial parameters are used to navigate the application at the start of the program. However, they are not retained in the URL parameter. However, the Shop Id and Language are derivable parameters from objects available in UserSessionData. UserSessionData is an object available in session context and hence can be accessed from any action class or JSP.

Keep client and language information for login after timeout
Hello experts,
i'm using the url parameters sap-client and sap-language that the user can login without them. The parameters are filled on a mobile device and on different plants these parameters are different. When the user logout with the logout button the method server->logoff( ) will be called in the main controller. Then a logout view will be called that redirect the user to the login page and fill the parameters into the url again.
My problem is when a session timeout occurs or the session will be closed manually the login screen appears again after the next request, but with the default client and language.
I'm looking for a way to fill these parameters when a timeout occurs.
Thanks and best regards,
TobiasI found a working solution for my problem. With the following code in the do_init method of my main controller, the url will be renewed right after the login:

lv_url = me->co_controller_name.
lv_tmp = sy-mandt.

Help with URL Parameters and HTML DataSet please.
Hello everybody!
Looking at the example page: "Using URL Parameters to Control Data Regions", towards the bottom it gives an example of "Set by Product Name", from an XML DataSet using the following sample code:
//Data set for the second example. var ds2 = new Spry.Data.XMLDataSet("../../demos/products/products.xml", "products/product"); //If the URL parameter 'product' has a value, set the XPath that includes a filter and then load the data. if (params.product){ ds2.setXPath("products/product[name = '"+params.product+"']"); ds2.loadData(); }
Can anyone please explain how to amend this to work with a HTML Dataset rather than XML?
The first example on the page (Set by RowID) works unchanged for the HTML DataSet, but I don't know what I should replace the 'setXPath' line with.
I see this has been asked before, but I'm afraid I can't find any answer that works (or, more often, that I can understand properly!)
Grateful for any suggestions.
LenWow! Thanks Ben.
I hadn't thought about using Stacked Containers.
I'll test this out tonight and let you know how I get on.
Cheers,
Len
A few days later and at last I've been able to test your suggestions.
I think I must be doing something wrong as the links and content don't work at all:
http://www.myosanthe-bernhard-huber.com/html/stack1.php
I know that the stacked containers do work (http://www.myosanthe-bernhard-huber.com/html/stack0.php), so I guess there are some errors in the coding somewhere.
Would you mind reviewing, please?
The important thing for me (in this case, anyway) is to get the called page's content using its 'Ref', and I'm not sure what benefit there is in using stacked containers as opposed to master-detail containers.
The master-detail method works reasonably well for me at
http://www.myosanthe-bernhard-huber.com/html/fotoalbum.php and sub-pages.
Perhaps I am betraying my lack of knowledge, but as I said in my original post, I think that I just need the HTMLDataSet equivalent to:
//Data set for the second example.
var ds2 = new Spry.Data.XMLDataSet("../../demos/products/products.xml", "products/product");
//If the URL parameter 'product' has a value, set the XPath that includes a filter and then load the data.
if (params.product){
ds2.setXPath("products/product[name = '"+params.product+"']");
ds2.loadData();
which as you can see uses an XMLDataSet, but does exactly what I need.
(see http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/spry/samples/data_region/DataWithURLParams.html)
Thanks again for your help, Ben.

Wrong results in URL iview and overview of URL parameters
I have created an URL iView that is supposed to query an index and return results. I am using the URL:
/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.service
and added following URL parameters:
StartPage=SearchPage
ConfigFileName=Navigation.xml
layoutSetMode=exclusive
ResourceListType=com.sapportals.wcm.SearchResultList
SearchType=quick
QueryString=marketing
SelectedSearchIndices=KnowledgeBase
The problem that I have is that the iView returns the second page of results (11-20) instead of the first one (1-10). When I hit the Search button again the result is the first page of results.
Does anyone have experience with this problem?
I've searched SDN on an overview of URL parameters (for example a parameter to specify the number of results to be shown on a page) to solve this problem, but couldn't find anything. Does anyone have an overview on URL parameters?
Thanks in advance!
Kind regards, HilcoHi,
Please check if the iView properties are as per properties mentioned in this <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/4c/eee2bedf3b4082b14a933e5ee63472/frameset.htm">link</a>.

Auto Run ignores URL parameters and uses Defaults on first run
We have BI Publisher 11g standalone (not OBIEE).
We have a suite of BI Publisher reports, all set up on data sets with default parameters.
All reports have Auto Run enabled and caching disabled.
The reports are run from a Flex UI application using a URL i.e. URLVariables and URLRequest and navigateToURL.
The required parameters for any report are read from BI Publisher using the web services, then the user makes their selections in our custom UI.
We use:
urlVariables['_xpf'] = null;
urlVariables['_xpt'] = 0;
urlVariables['_xf'] = 'html';
urlVariables['_xmode'] = 1;
The first time any user runs any report in the application the report is generated but with the default parameters NOT their selected values, and it displays the parameter controls when the settings as per above say it should NOT.
Any report generation after that is fine - it runs with the user's nominated parameters values, and it does not display the parameter controls.
Originally we thought it might be caching so along with all report caching settings being disabled, we introduced a parameter to force the uniqueness of each report URL i.e.
urlVariables['noCache'] = new Date().getTime();
In Safari, if we Reset Safari then restart the app in the same browser window we can reproduce the problem.
Any suggestions please?
ThanksI'm not sure where the "Enable Document Cache" setting is?
All reports have caching disabled - so for each report in its Report Properties, all items on the Caching tab are checked off.
i.e.
Enable Data Caching - off
User Level - off
Document Caching - off -
Hi All,
We have used WSRP Portlet in Webcenter Portal Page. The Portlet is created using JSF Bridge out of ADF Bounded Taskflow.
It is causing Performance issue. Every time static content like js, css and images URLs are downloaded and the URL contain portlet_id and few other dynamic parameters like resource_id, client_id etc.
We are not able to cache these static content as these contains dynamic URL. This ADF Specific images, js and css files are taking longer time to load.
Sample URL:

I can't reproduce this because i have issues with creating portlets... If i can solve this issue i will do some testing and see if i can reproduce the issue...
Can you create a new producer with a single portlet that uses a simple taskflow and see if that works?
Are you also using business components in the taskflows or something? You can try removing some parts of the taskflow and test if it works so you can identify the component(s) that causes the issues. -
Unexpected URL parameters have been detected and will be ignored.
Hi...
My JDeveloper raise "Raise Application: FND, Message Name: FND-INVALID APPLICATION." error when run test page before, And I download an other version JDeveloper. and it run well of the test_fwktutorial.jsp, but when I click link in test_fwktutorial.jsp, it raises error and the Oracle EBS Logon page show same time(A error "Unexpected URL parameters have been detected and will be ignored." show in Oracle EBS Logon page show ).
please help me, thank you very much.
JackJack,
You need not do hit and trial on various version of jdev. Jdev version should be as per your instance patchset version. Go through document no.416708.1 on metalink to know you need to download which version of jdev, as per ur instance patch set level.

Using URL Parameters with HTTP Comms Channel
Hi,
I need to build a new interface (HTTP - RFC) which will use several URL parameters. I've created a HTTP communications channel and Sender Service and this works. I'm able to define several URL Parameters by checking 'Adapter-Sepcific Message Attributes' and then 'Apply URL Parameters' then specifying the individual parameters.
This is straight forward so far but in usual SAP fashion the documentation on HTTP Comms Channels and URL Parameters is non existent. My question is how do I use these parameters once they are passed. I need to use the values as input parameters for the RFC which means I'll need to map these in the Integration Repository I can't find anything on SDN or SAP help that answers the question.
I know I could include these values in the XML payload but that would mean my 'customer' would need to amend their application and I'd rather keep things as they are.
Looking forward to your replies.
Thanks in advance.May be this could help you to refference . .
For each process template, you can define interactive or composite form reference objects that can optionally be executed at runtime.
To be able to see and execute the reference object at runtime, you must add an appropriate runtime view.
Prerequisites
You can only attach standalone interactive forms to a process. For more information, see Interactive Form Types.
Activities
To attach an interactive form to a process:
1. Open the gallery and select a process template. To open its design time, choose Open
2. To switch to edit mode, choose (Edit).
3. Open the Forms tab page.
4. Choose Add and select the type of reference object you want to add. You can choose between Callable Object and Development Object.
Browse and select the reference object, and choose Add once again.
5. Repeat step 4 to add more objects.
6. To define parameter mapping, select an entry and choose Map Parameters. Select a parameter from the left-hand table, and then select the parameter you want to map from the right-hand table. This groups the input parameters of the form reference object to the relevant input parameters of the process.
If the process does not define input parameters, you can set default values.
7. When you have defined the required mappings, choose Done.
8. Whenever a newer version of the form reference object is available, its status on the Forms tab page changes to (Deprecated). To update the object, select it from the list and choose Update. The status changes to (Active).
Parameter mapping is preserved unless the parameters of the new object version are different. In this case, you need to define mappings again.
9. Finally, choose (Save). -
Trouble Passing URL Parameters between Applications
Hi All,
I am having trouble Passing URL Parameters between Applications for BW queries as data sources. I know I am getting the data from the sending application correctly, because I an printing to the screen using a Text Component.
Date From: 1/1/2008
Date To: 3/14/2014
Here is the code from the sending application On Select :
"http://localhost:56572/aad/web.do?APPLICATION=WIMO_SUMMARY_OPEN_DETAIL&designersessionid=37a1cfaa7e734cd9afa35cb4cd627d41" +
+ DS_1.getVariableValueExt("ZPORDAT3") +
+ DS_1.getVariableValueExt("ZPORDAT5"));
Here is the code from the recieving application Global Script Variable"
Xv_DateFrom String True
Xv_DateTo String True
Here is the code from the receiving application On Startup"
DS_2.setFilter("0CALDAY",[Xv_DateFrom, Xv_DateTo]);
When I click the results of the sending Application the popup window opens for the receiving application but I get all the records for the BW receiving query, it does not restrict to the values in ("ZPORDAT3") 1/1/2008 and ("ZPORDAT5") Date To: 3/14/2014.
So, I would expect it is my receiving code, but I am not sure.
Hope you can help?
NormanHi Norman,
As Jörg said, please put "&" before each of your variable names at your url. For the second part,I didn't try it for date intervals but keep in mind just in case:
APPLICATION.openNewWindow("http://localhost:56572/aad/web.do?APPLICATION=WIMO_SUMMARY_OPEN_DETAIL&designersessionid=37a1cfaa7e734cd9afa35cb4cd627d41" +
"&Xv_DateFrom=" + DS_1.getVariableValueExt("ZPORDAT3") +
"&Xv_DateTo=" + DS_1.getVariableValueExt("ZPORDAT5"));
Here is the code from the recieving application Global Script Variable"
Xv_DateFrom String True
Xv_DateTo String True
Here is the code from the receiving application On Startup"
DS_2.setFilterExt("0CALDAY", {"low": Xv_DateFrom , "high " : Xv_DateTo});

Passing URL parameters to PL/SQL Pages
Hi,
I want to pass parameters from url to the PL/SQL page . How is this possible?
http://myserver/pls/portal/url/PAGE/page_group/page/testplsqlpage?course_ref=##COURSE_ID##&staff_ref=##STAFF_ID##
I will to received course_ref and staff_ref in the PL/SQL page and pass the values to SQL query so that its filtered.
Can pls anyone guide me? If there is any alternate way or there is sample code pls let me know
Many Thanks
GaneshHi Mick,
Thanks for your reply. However my problem is still not resolved.
I have created a Omniportlet with lists the staff details. When I click on the staff link I am passing to parameters as follows
http://servername/pls/portal/url/PAGE/CCM_MIS_PORTAL/TUTOR_HOME/Course_Info?Param1=10017031/M2523&Param2=001434
on the receving page I have a omni portlet which must receive these 2 parameters and pass it on to the query and filter the results.
On the received page I have created 2 page parameters (Param1 and Param2)
I have assigned these 2 paramaters to the portlet paramers through page parameters' section
on the omni portlet in the query I have created 2 bind variables (p1, p2) and the default value of the bind variable is set using ##Param1## and ##Param2## so the received values from page is passed to to bind variable and hence to the query.
However the omni portlet is not received the parameters and I can not figure out whats wrong?
Is there any problem with my URL (guide says I should use relative URL)

Error using XI HTTP adapter specific message attribute URL parameters
Hi XI gurus, in our XI 7.0 SPS11,

If I set Adapter specific message Properties in communication channel and activate switch for Apply URL parameters (using Parameter 1 to 5) filling them using message mapping, we have no effect; instead we have error "Dynamic Header - Missing Message Attributes: Fields/Parameters".

2. using adapter specific message attribute for target

Can you solve this issue? Are there oss notes, corrections, ...

I'm having some trouble getting coldfusion to see japanese
characters in the URL string.
To clarify, if I have something like this:
http://my.domain.com/index.cfm?categorylevel0=Search&categorylevel1=%E3%82%A2%E3%82%B8%E3% 82%A2%E3%83%BB%E3%83%93%E3%82%B8%E3%83%8D%E3%82%B9%E9%96%8B%E7%99%BA
All of my code works correctly and the server is able to pass
the japanese characters to the database and retrieve the correct
data.
If I have this instead:
http://my.domain.com/index.cfm/Search/%E3%82%A2%E3%82%B8%E3%82%A2%E3%83%BB%E3%83%93%E3%82% B8%E3%83%8D%E3%82%B9%E9%96%8B%E7%99%BA
My script (which works fine with English characters) parses
CGI variables and converts these to the same URL parameters that I
had in the first URL using a loop and a CFSET url.etc..
In the first example, looking at the CF debug info shows me
what I expect to see:
URL Parameters:
CATEGORYLEVEL0=Search
CATEGORYLEVEL1=アジア・ビジネス開発
In the second example it shows me this:
URL Parameters:
CATEGORYLEVEL0=Search
CATEGORYLEVEL1=???·??????
Can anyone suggest means for debugging this? I'm not sure if
this is a CF problem, an IIS problem, a JRUN problem or something
else altogether that causes it to lose the characters if they are
in the URL string but NOT as a parameter.My suggestion was that you test with the
first url, not the second. However, I can see a source of
confusion. I overlooked your delimiter, "/". It should be "?" and
"=" in this case. With these modifications, we get
<cfif Len(cgi.query_string) neq 0>
<cfset i = 1>
<cfloop list="#cgi.query_string#" delimiters="&"
index="currentcatname">
<cfoutput>categorylevel#i# =
#ListGetAt(currentcatname,2,"=")#</cfoutput><br>
<cfset i = i + 1>
</cfloop>
If it is a failing of Coldfusion, the above test should fail,
too.
Now, an adaptation of the same test to your second url.
<cfset url2 = "
http://my.domain.com/index.cfm/Search/%E3%82%A2%E3%82%B8%E3%82%A2%E3%83%BB%E3%83%93%E3%82% B8%E3%83%8D%E3%82%B9%E9%96%8B%E7%99%BA">
<cfset query_str =
ListGetAt(replacenocase(url2,".cfm/","?"),2,"?")>
<cfif Len(query_str) neq 0>
<cfset i = 1>
<cfloop list="#query_str#" delimiters="/"
index="currentcatname">
<cfoutput>categorylevel#i# =
#currentcatname#</cfoutput><br>
<cfset i = i + 1>
