Keeps scrolling, never printing... any ideas?

Not sure when this happened, but I am now no longer able to "print to pdf" from my applications (Word, Excel, notepad, etc).
It looks like it kicks off successfully: files begin to show up as a document under the printer "Adobe PDF", but status remains as "spooling", and the application is hung (Task Manager shows 0% CPU usage for everything). Clicking on the application gives me a rewarding "Application not responding" message.
Normally, it would ask me which file I would like to print to, etc. Dialog box is not hidden anywhere that I can see/find.
I can print any file to my other printers, including pdf files.
I can do a Save As PDF, and it will also start: it asks me where I would like to print, but then hangs. This is likely because there are other pdf documents that are spooling ahead of it. I believe that I was able to successfully save as pdf if there was nothing in the Adobe PDF print queue. (ie, after a fresh reboot)
If there are files in the pdf print queue, I am unable to delete them. They just constantly show "Deleting"
From the Print Properties / Print Test page, it hangs if there is something in the print queue. If there is nothing in the print queue, I get an access is denied. I am writing to my desktop which is not a problem for any other type of file.
From Word, I now get the error message "... experienced a serious problem with the 'Acrobat pdfmaker office com addin' addin. You should disable this addin and check to see whether an update is available"
I have done a Repair from Acrobat Reader; and I have done a repair from the Windows Program Console
I can open a pdf file and save that same file to another pdf file name.
I believe all of my Windows updates are current.
Is the next step uninstall, then re-install?
Setup:
Acrobat 9 Pro
Windows Vista 64
I also have Illustrator, Photoshop on this machine.

The first time I try (ie, after a reboot), it appears to startup normally. It asks me where I want to save the file (all normal), and then says "c:\[pathname]" unavailable. But [pathname] is my documents folder and I do not see that I have somehow recently added any special security to this directory. Not sure if I have somewhere disabled something unintentionally...
It then creates a pop up window that says "Creating Adobe pdf" and shows "PDF progress" basically hung. Stops at four bars.
My "Adobe PDF" print folder shows no files.
The second time I try (ie, after above), I get no error, and my Adove PDF print folder shows a status of "spooling". Unfortunately, it also hangs the application and I need to Kill the application through the task manager

This process works, however I have to disable "Rely on system fonts; do not use document fonts". I do not think this is a problem (need to experiment more), but it is nonetheless a clumsy workaround!

You are still under warranty. Call Apple Care. Make sure you get a case number as all repairs have an additional 90 days of warranty.

Take FULL advantage of your warranty. Posting on a message board should be done as a last resort and if you are out of warranty or Apple Care has expired.

Yes I have turned imessage off a number of times and that does not seem to he doing the trick, and it is not delivering them then I have to press on the photo and either chose try again or send as text message, I have had the setting on to not allow sending pictures as texts (so they can only send as imessage) since I got my phone in January and it has always worked until now, I have turned that off to allow me to send them as picture messages now but it's still not working over iMessage, I have also tried it using 3G and not wifi

Start by doing an SMC reset http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964 and see if that resolves it.

I have to be honest, I am a novice to video editing, but I am here to learn so I will provide all the info I know and please let me know if it is enough...
I filmed my first feature film on a Panasonic GH4. We filmed in 4k (compressed files). I am about 900 GB of total files for all the footage. I am currently editing on a 17' Toshiba Satellite i7 with 750 GB of space and I believe 8 gb of ram. All of the footage for the film is not on the computer, but stored on a 1 TB external hardrive (Rugged Lacie is the name of the hard drive). I am using a usb 3.0 from the hard drive to the computer.
I actually was able to get through about 17 mins of edits for the film before I started to experiencing the computer completely freezing up on me. I tried using a different hard drive, and same issue. A friend mentioned it might just be the computer is not powerful enough to edit all the footage, but he wasn't for sure considering the computer is less than a year old and is on the higher end for a toshiba.
I am requesting advice on how to continue editing the film without the computer crashing if that is even possible with using the same computer. If not what would be my options?

No. I am a volunteer, not always on good terms with Apple either. I'm sorry I don't seem to have helped but what I told you is what I would tell anyone in your situation.

As has already been pointed out earlier in this topic, the issue is either a repeated phishing attempt (in which someone sends you a faked e-mail, directing you to a faked site, which tries to get you to "log in" so that the hackers can get your ID and password) or someone is repeatedly trying to get access to your account. I'm guessing the latter is more likely... someone's repeatedly trying to reset your password, for who knows what reason, and they're trying repeatedly because they're never getting the password reset e-mail. (Why they would expect to receive that e-mail I don't know... people are stupid.)
Make sure your Apple ID has a good, secure password. (There is no need to reset your own password to do this, just go toappleid.apple.com and change it.) I'd also advise turning on two-factor authentication to further protect your Apple ID:
Apple introduces two-factor authentication
This will prevent password reset attempts, as it will not be possible to even start the password reset process without having access to the device used to receive the code used as the second identification factor.

i just upgraded my system to OS X Marvericks and now I can not print through our office network printer. Office printer is a Canon Image Runner Advance C5030 (Colored).
Anybody have any idea what to do? Need help.

Manage My Places/Google Search in iPhoto has stopped working. I have always had my Look Up Places Preference set to Never. Any ideas?

That's not my experience Larry, although I'm not an expert. It was one of your earlier responses to someone else that made me check this preference out. However, I've set it to automatically and google search in Manage My Places doesn't work and the "find on map" option on the photo information tab doesn't work.
What does works with it set to automatically is if I enter "Merida, Mexico" in the photo place it will list a number of towns called Merida and I can select the Mexican one. If I enter "Calle 49, Merida, Mexico" it doesn't list anything but it does offer the "find on map" option. If I select this it loops.
I've checked my software updates and nothing on my Mac has changed in the time between this working and ceasing to work. I'm just trying to establish if anyone else has experienced difficulty with the google search under manage my places in iPhoto recently.

Imac 21" I keep getting ggh'l and the speaker volume screen keeps popping up. Any ideas of what is causing this and how to fix it?

I recently converted from the PC world to Apple and got an IMAC 21". I keep getting the speaker volume screen popping up periodically and also types in ggh'l into whatever application I have open. I have the lastest software and have McAfee antivirus installed. This is a recent problem in the last few days so I'm not sure what is causing it. Any ideas/suggestions?

Hi, Lisa. Now I see what you're desperate about.
Does it allow you to go ahead and use the iBook after you cancel the Keychain login? If so, it's not a big deal.
Are you able to go to System Preferences > Accounts and create a new account for yourself? That should eliminate Keychain password problems.

Maybe they will help you get it seated better. It's considered a customer-installable part, so it should be easy enough for you to handle without worrying about goofing anything up.
What CDs (if any) came with the iBook?
Which version of the operating system is it running?
How big is the hard drive and how much space remains available on it? If it's the original hard drive, it's getting very old and could fail at any time. The identifier "PowerBook 4,1" tells me that the iBook is ten years old, and is either a 500 or 600 MHz PowerPC G3 (Dual USB) iBook. As such, you can't expect a whole lot from it.
The optical drive on this iBook could be a CD-ROM (reads CDs only), CD-RW (reads and writes CDs; no DVD capability), DVD (reads CDs and DVDs), or Combo (reads and writes CDs; reads DVDs) drive.

I am trying to print a receipt using bluetooth on an iPhone app, the printer is a Zebra printer QL 420 plus. I am unable to do so. The iOS documentation states Air Print as a method to print. Is that the only option that we have to print using iOS.
This is urgent as I have a customer delivery.

IPod classic: itunes tells me that my ipod is in recovery mody and needs to be restored. It then says that when it is restored that it will appear in the left sidebar however it never does. any ideas why??

I haven't used my iPod in a few months so I charged it up, updated my itunes and everything was going fine. However when I connected the iPod to the computer and went into itunes, a message kept popping up telling me my iPod is in recovery mode and needs to be restored. I clicked on the restore option then a message telling me my ipod had been restored popped up, it also said that my iPod would appear on the left sidebar of itunes once it had restarted and to leave it connected to the computer. The apple symbol appeared on the iPod and it appeared to be restarting. While I waited for the iPod to show up in itunes it turned itself on, after another few minutes the original message popped up telling me that the iPod needs to be restored. I have tried this many times but to no avail. I have also carried out numerous procedures said to solve this problem including changing the letter of the iPod drive but still nothing works!!! I don't know what else to do!! Has any experienced the same problem? Any ideas on how to get this working??

You can try to restart the iPhone to exit recovery mode.
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset

If you can't update or restore your iOS device

Recovery mode erases your device and restores it, which should resolve the issue. If you previously synced with iTunes or iCloud, you may be able to restore from your backup after recovery.
