KeyFigure showing ' * ' instead of value

Hi,
My web report shows the sign * in some places for KeyFigures instead of the value. This is due to too many numbers in the value, right? Is there a way of showing these numbers anyway?
Best Regards
/Dan

Hi Dan,
I think you have an issue with different units that will be summed up at your aggregational level. Check the query in BEX, or if possible drill the unit into the rows and you will see the numbers.

  • Currency F4 only shows info provider value instead of all values

    Hi Guys,
    I have a BI query in which the currency object is restricted with a variable.
    I executed the query.
    In the intial variable selection screen, i clicked on F4.
    This variable only shows me the value from Info Provider.
    But instead of that, i want to fetch all the currencies in the F4 help.
    I have tried Query Filter Execution set to Master data but that too doesnt help.
    Please please can someone help in it.
    Regards,
    Charu

    Hi All,
    Here are the steps i did for the currency conversion.
    1. Created the conversion type.
    2. Exchange rate type -> M
    3. Selected Dynamic exchange rate
    4. In the currency tab selected source currency from data records.
    5. Target currency i selected Target currency from variable.
    6. Variable is the one created on the 0CURRENCY object.
    7. Time reference is the exact day and 0CALDAY is selected in it.
    8. In the query, created a calculated key figure and assigned this conversion type to the CKF.
    9. I have just dragged the 0CURRENCY in the row.
    10. For currency in the Advanced tab in query i selected master data option for the filter.
    When the query executes, it asks for the value of this variable.
    When i select the F4, it should show me all the currency values, but it shows me only INR. In the search if i give EUR manually then it takes EUR but doesnt show me in the list.
    Is there any step that i have missed out pls.

  • Showing only those Keyfigures which has some values

    Hello Experts,
    We've the following layout:
                Jan     Feb      Mar       Feb
    KF1
    KF2
    KF3
    KF4
    Need: On the start of the application, I only want to only those KF's, which has any value. and later if the user wants, they can add that back.
    How can we achieve this functionality ?
    Thanks & regards,
    Jomy

    Hi Tammy,
    It was nothing specific to Planning.
    I was just giving a use case.
    The idea is to show only those Keyfigures which has some values but later I should have the ability to add it back to the view.
    I would really appreciate your help in this.
    Thanks & regards,

  • Radio LOV not showing the retrieved value

    I have a radio button with 3 options: STATIC2:One;1,Two;2,Three;3
    On "load after header", I run a retrieve that populates all the fields on the screen, including this field. The session state has this correct value but the radio button that matches the value does not get "selected". (So the session state value is 3, but no radio is marked.)
    I changed it to a select list and chose option TWO. After I save, the DB gets the correct value, and when I reload the page, the session state also has the value 2, but the select list still shows ONE
    How do I make the correct radio button/select list item get marked when the data is loaded? I've tried every combination of Source that I can think of (always load, only load when null, static assignment, DB column, etc... nothing works).
    If I change it to a text field, it does show the right value from the DB.
    (APEX 3.1.1 Oracle 10g)

    It still doesn't work with those settings. In debug, it shows that the "value" is 2 but the select list will only show the first item in the list (in this case it's 1). I can't think why this would be occurring, is there some other setting that one can change to make select lists show properly (no select lists in tabular forms will show properly either, but I figured that was related to the tabular form, not to the select list)
    ETA: I think it might have something to do with the column originally being a char, instead of a number. I changed the column datatype and made a dynamic lov based on this and it works now.

  • Powerpoint chart created in office2013 is showing the word "VALUE" in versions of 2010 powerpoint... compatibility issue?

    Hello,
    A user created a chart in powerpoint 2013 that shows up great. When a user opens the chart in 2010, certain values show up as [VALUE] instead of the number. The number is clearly there in excel. Is this a bug or is there something the user is doing wrong?
    (sorry for the blurry powerpoint2010 picture)

    Hi,
    How did the user create the chart? Did only the chart occur the issue?
    Create the chart the Excel and copy it to PowerPoint 2013.
    Create the chart directly in PowerPoint 2013.
    I had tested both of the two ways and it displayed correctly in PowerPoint 2010.
    Thus, I recommend you follow the below steps to check the issue:
    1. Create a new create with new data to test again. If every chart occurs the issue, I recommend you check the PowerPoint 2010.
    Start PowerPoint 2010 in safe mode. If it works fine, the issue may be caused by the add-ins, please check the add-ins one by one.
    Upgrade the Office 2010 patches and repair Office 2010.
    2. If the issue only occur in the chart, please try to copy the chart to a blank PowerPoint 2010 or follow the below link to re-create the chart the test.
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/powerpoint-help/add-a-chart-to-a-presentation-HA102809565.aspx
    If the issue still exists, please upload a sample presentation include the chart through OneDrive, I'll test in my environment.

  • Items with  zero stock quantity show negative stock value in Stock reports

    When running Stock reports for controlling the stock value towards the GL accounts, some items appear with zero stock quantity, but the report still shows a stock value  (negative value in my case)
    How can this happen, and how can I correct this situation ?
    System parameters are :   negative stock is not allowed, Items with zero cost price not allowed. On item level average cost price method is used.
    P.K.Johnsen

    Hi Johnsen,
    I believe you have checked the" Manage Inventory by warehouse". I have noticed this issue in SAP B1 2005B but this is rectified in 2007B. The system behaves in this way as the system maintains item cost for the item for all warehouses and even if the stock is not present in the warehouse, the system would still show you a value for the same. Hope this helps. please search the forum. You'll find related threads.

  • "more info" in Get Info showing "--" instead of actual infos for newer videos and images

    I've just noticed that when I click on "Get Info" on my newer pictures and videos, the "more info" section is now showing "--" instead of the dimensions of the images and videos. However when I go to my older files, the info is showing. Also if I search any of the newer files (those with the missing info) in Spotlight, it doesn't show up.  I've done some research and some people suggest reindexing Spotlight, but that never worked for me. In fact, even if I exclude a folder in my Privacy list, it's still showing as a result when I search them. I'm sure this is a problem with Spotlight as it stores the dimensions info, but since reindexing it is not a solution, can it be solved in some other way?

    It takes time on newer things, but might have to be opened first or something.
    If you want, you can clear the caches with OnyX (#12) and that would rebuild and repair the entire sub-system.

  • HOW TO SHOW A DEFAULT VALUE IN AN UPDATABLE TABULAR FORM

    I have an updatable form that has three columns:
    Employee Name (display only)
    Reporting Name (select list)
    Element Type ID (hidden and updatable)
    When the user select a value in the reporting name column it updates the
    element type id with the appropriate value. But when they look at the select list
    it has the select list values as well as the selected value in the list. How do I
    overcome this. My example is setup and ready to be reviewed at http://apex.oracle.com/pls/otn/f?p=32409:1
    Thank you
    Forrest
    p.s. weather in Anchorage Alaska Sunny and 45 degrees!

    Woody,
    I'm a little confused (not uncommon), as I don't understand why you have a hidden column to hold the element_type_id value.
    It looks like you're doing a simple SELECT LIST/LOV that shows the display value and stores the code value. I guess I don't understand why you need the hidden column. Shouldn't the code value end up in the APEX_ITEM array, so you can save it to your table?
    I would think you'd have a hidden value to hold the primary key for your table in one APEX_ITEM array, and the element_type_id column is the second parameter of the APEX_ITEM.SELECT_LIST() call. Then your manual update procedure saves that value to the right record, using the primary key from the hidden column?
    What am I missing here?
    Good luck,
    Stew

  • How to show the Characteristics Values of Batch appear upon Search?

    Dear all
    We are implementing SAP for Wood Industry.
    Facts:
    1. There are 3 batches created for the raw material.
    2. Each batch has the characteristics of Thickness, Width, Length with characteristics value  24mm, 140mm, 1530mm
    3. 1 Production Order has been create to produce raw material (RM) to semifinised goods (SM).
    Quetions:
    During GI to Produciton Order using MVT 261, when we try to select batches from the Item Detail level, the pop up search windows only show us the existing 3 Batch Numbers available for the RM, it does not show the characteristics value "thickness, Width, length" that describe each batch.
    And this has caused serious problem to use during their selection of batch as batch number will only make more sense to them if it is shown together with the characteristics value.
    Apart of opening additional screen to show the batch information of each batch, is there any config I need to do to solve this situation?
    Mark will be given handsomely.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    it is possible to use another search help (Tab Strip: Search for batches via classes, when you press F4 in the batch field).
    Here you have to enter the class number first.
    Then you get a list of all characteristics in this class, and you can narrow your selection, by setting values for specific characteristics.
    After that, press F8 (Find in initial class)
    You will get a list of batches, assigned to the selected class, and fullfilling your selection criteria.
    Now you can display either the characteristics of a single batch, or you can define a layout for the ALV-Table control, with all characteristics, which you want to see in the overview.
    Another possibility is, to open up the 'batch information cockpit' (transaction BMBC) in a separate mode. Here you can see the characteristics ( if you define a selection class on tab strip 'Characteristics' ), e.g. in combination with stock information, which might be relevant as well.
    Here you can download some screenshots (link wiil be valid for 80 days)

  • CJI5 commitment line item report not showing po gross value

    Dear All,
    system is showing only net value in CJI5 report, actaully gross value of po must be reflected in CJI5 report and this happening in all po's like material, service's etc. example is as follows.
    Example:
    po net value: 1000
    st 10%: 100
    po gross value : 1100 (inclusive of all taxes, ed, disc. etc)
    what could be the reason for not showing po gross value in commitment line item report.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sandeep

    Hi,
    As far as i know the commitment report will never show you the value that is inclusive of taxes. It will only show the net value of the PO.
    I just tried a scenario in my system by creating a PO for a net value of 3000 GBP and based on the tax code i entered system calculated a tax of 525 GBP. However when i check CJI5 report it shows only 3000 GBP as commitment and not 3525 GBP. This is how the standard system behaves, i believe. You can cross check this in the table COOI. The COOI table also shows the net value of the PO and does not include the tax amount in commitment.

    How to show property bag values of site collection in web part on landing page in sharepoint online - office 365?

    You can use JavaScript Client object model to read the property bag values. Example:
    function getWebProperty() {
    var ctx = new SP.ClientContext.get_current();
    var web = ctx.get_site().get_rootWeb();
    this.props =  web.get_allProperties();
    ctx.load(web);
    ctx.load(this.props); //need to load the properties explicitly
    ctx.executeQueryAsync(Function.createDelegate(this, gotProperty), Function.createDelegate(this, failedGettingProperty));
    function gotProperty() {
        var myPropBag = this.props;
        alert(myPropBag.get_fieldValues()["allowdesigner"]); //returns the value of the key allowdesigner
