Keynote the new Hypercard?

I just finally broke down and bought Keynote, and so far have been quite impressed.
I hope at least a few people here are old enough to remember the Hypercard era. For the benefit of those too young, Hypercard was a Mac only application that allowed, among other things, for people with only a minimal of programming effort to create small open source content rich applications called stacks. These were often distributed by way of users groups. Our local users group bought the BMUG PD-ROM disk and got hundreds of them, admittedly of variable quality, but fun nevertheless, interactive children's story, a periodic table with clickable elements, etc., etc.. Inigo gets Out and If Monks had Macs were a couple of the popular titles I remember. And then there was the later famous commercial first children's game that you needed a hard drive for, The Manhole.
The Hypercard era pretty much died with the coming of the internet, but it had certain advantages over web authoring that I was sorry to lose. In occasional nostalgic moods I have looked for a replacement. Revolution claims to be its successor, but it's kind of an overkill, and doesn't have the kind of wide audience that Hypercard had, particularly when it was included with every Mac. I've looked into using Powerpoint, and have known for quite some time that it would do most of what the old Hypercard would do. In fact I have in fact once used it for a kind of Hypercard sort of use having to do with our family tree. With that sort of in the back of my mind I started looking at Keynote, and was quite impressed with the number of features it has that Powerpoint doesn't have that would make some of the kinds of things people used to create with Hypercard a lot easier to do. And though it doesn't come free with every Mac, a demo of it does, so it's going to have a pretty large Mac audience. One disappointment I initially had was that there is a lot you can put in a Keynote presentation that only can be seen by another Keynote owner. But then it occured to me that the same could be said for Hypercard stacks. Like before with Hypercard stacks, if PC people want to get in on the game they will have to buy a Mac, so it might be in Apple's interest to use this as an advantage rather than a disadvantage in that it would create another Mac only fad like stacking was.
I'm in the process of creating an example Keynote 'stack' call Cheat Sheets. It's an interactive collection of elementary mathematics definitions and properties, making a lot of use of the mini built-in spreadsheet capabilities of the tables. I'm going to put it up as 'Contributeware'. Honor system payment for use of it is to add a page to it. If you'd like, I can let you know when I get it up.
I can think of a lot more interesting ideas, and it seems that it would be fun to have some kind of public internet archive for putting them. Until it gets too large, I'd be willing to donate some space on my iDisk.
What do people think of the idea? Does something like it already exist. I'm new here, so please excuse my ignorance and tell my all about it, if that is the case.

This is something I've long considered. At one point,
I was wondering if Keynote was going to become
something more HyperCard-like. While it's not
currently, (and may never be) you can still do
impressive things with it.
Take a look at eZediaQTI. It's not quite as robust or
graphically impressive as Keynote BUT does have a lot
of resources at their site for the app and it does
allow for some good interactivity.
Thanks I'll have to check it out. I have now the beginnings of a site and my modest example up now. Have a look if you are interested. My example is the beginning of an attempt to put together some of the spreadsheet toys that I have been created for my distance education math students for some time in a prettier and more unified form.
