Km document upload issue post NW 7.31 SP12 portal upgrade

Hi,
We have recently upgraded portal from SP9 to SP12 in NW 7.31. Post upgrade we are unable to upload documents in KM . On click of folder icon in Content Admin -> KM content -> Folder , i get a javascript error as  "Access is denied" popup_ie6.js as shown in screen-shot below. We are facing this issue post upgrade. Any idea what might be the issue?

Hi Saar,
Context menu is disappeared under KM content.  Not in AFP (CNP).
As per note, 1921618 - Context menu is not visible for KM resources
i have updated this.

But no luck. still same issue.
Should i go for SP06 (EP7.40)  update ? mine is SP05 (EP7.4)

  • Document Upload issue while clause creation

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing an issue where in When i try to upload a word document for creating clauses, I am successfully able to upload few documents and create clausw and some to the documents do not upload and i get an error though there is not much difference in the two documents in terms of formatting (only content differs).
    When i try to create contract from some of those created (Clause-->Section-->Contract Templates, i have uses those clause to create templates) templates, Contract generates for few and fails for few.( I get error " There is a problem with the Contract Generation web service ") This behaviour is weired.
    If anyone has information on this please help. I am using SAP Sourcing 9.0.15.

    Usually this problem occurs when the Word service is facing some issues.
    Please try to restart the service and check.

  • Document splitting issue while posting MIRO transaction

    Hello All
    I have a piculiar  related to document splitting while posting MIRO entry and this issue started after defaulting the profit center
    to the tax gl.
    The scenario is like this
    While posting a vendor invoice document where there is a difference in the invoice value and stock is allready consumedn
    hence system will try to post the difference to the material difference account.
    The following is the asccounting entries
    01 vendor a/c  cr   1000
    02 gr/ir a/c  dr         800       pc from po document
    03 tax g/l                 180       default pc
    04 inventory diff       20  
    the error message
    system is not able to determine the profit center at  line item 04 and message is
    Balancing field "Profit Center" in line item 004 not filled
    The document splitting settings are all standards related to vendor invoice ..................
    One important point to be noted here is that this issue is come after defaulting the profit center at tax gl.
    But we cannot remove those default pc also.
    Can be their any solution on this

    In addition to my previous mail i want to add that
    i tried to add even expense item category to splitting rule of business transaction and transaction variant.
    Even then it doers not work.
    other then is as per standard document splitting rule the expense item category is not included in invoice verication buisness transaction.

    Execute the  Cheque outgoing account in FBL3N
    Click on Settings => Special Fields
    PAYR     CHECF     Check number from
    Save
    Now re-execute the report
    Add the Check number from field into the layout.
    You will see the for which documents cheques are beings issues and for which documents cheques are not being issued.

  • Upload Issues

    I have a few issues with uploading files through Dreamweaver. I will state that this could be a problem with DW and if it is I hope someone sees this that can address the problems.
      1. There is the consistent Waiting for Server Error. I have seen this problem ever since using BC with Dreamweaver CS5, 5.5, and 6. I know others have seen and posted about the problem before.  I do not know what to do but this is quite annoying. It can take several minutes for a small upload and there are times when it times out.
      2. Transferring files sometimes can take quite  a while. It will say "Transferring" and just sit there, sometimes for several minutes. I can cancel out and try again and it may or may not work better that time. Majority of the time I just have to wait until it is done. I know others are seeing this issue also.
      3. In the past week or two I have been getting "Access Denied" messages frequently. The message is sometimes just that and other times it will say something along the lines of "This file may not exist locally." (Even though I can see the file I am attempting to upload does exists.) Other times it will say I do not have "Permission to Access the Remote Server."  But I can get DW to show the remote server without issue. To solve this issue sometime I have to just wait, other times I have to re-save the file to get it to let me upload to the server.
      4. The most disturbing error I have seen is when I upload a file the file is actually deleted off the server completely. This has happened several times but is so sporadic I cannot nail down a set of steps to replicate this problem. I will be working with a document, upload the document, check it, make changes, re-upload again. Sometimes I will do this several times depending on what I am editing or attempting to do. Then all the sudden the file is just gone. I have had this happen with images and web pages. The images just require uploading to the server again. But with webpages this can be a real hassle. I will normally upload the page then change settings in the admin (IE removing the .html for a clean URL) and having to re-do this is time consuming.
      A few notes:
    I use one other program that uploads via FTP to my website. I use jAlbum to manage a couple photo galleries. It uploads directly to my site, recently it has had trouble uploading files and timing out. I wonder if this problem is related to number 1 or number 3 mentioned above. Beyond that program I do not use other FTP programs often enough to know if it happens more often.
    I am using the built in BC extension in DW CS6. In CS5 and 5.5 I was using the latest extension.
    For the first error it happens with CS5+. With 2,3,4 it has happened in CS6 only. (I am not longer using CS5.)
    I do not have sites outside of BC to tell if this is BC only issue.
      Are others seeing this happen or am I alone here? I will provide what information I can.
      I have opened a support ticket on this issue but am posting here as well to get others feedback.

    Lynda, are you on PC or mac? It may be a good time for you to consider moving up to say Coda 2 on Mac or Sublime Text 2 on PC for example. Coda 2 especially you will be blown away by the FTP upload speeds.
    BC could improve their FTP further rolling out the updates to all DC's as they have to the EU one already etc but DW itself has a critical flaw in that the FTP of it is crap! Despite the claims to that it being a lot faster, it still is behind a lot of other software applications in that regard.

  • PL20 flexi upload issue

    Hi All,
    When we uploaded the file using flexi upload for posting level 20, system is reading the data properly but at the same time system is posting correction reversal entries for the same. Eg if i'm uploading the file with 100 INR system is posting the amount and again system is posting the correction document for -100 INR. Kindly help us in resolving this issue.
    We have created a flexi upload for PL20 entries, in which we created a seperate method and task for the same. And in task we have defined the processing type as two sided, created a field catalog in flexible upload. Please let us know if you need further details.

    In Task, we use cons freq- monthly, proc. type two sided, cons. group- all values. In method we have defined DCP flexible upload w.r.t method and doc. type. In flexible upload field category we have defined the respective fields as per the manual journal entry screen.
    Yesterday only i configured flexi upload for PL20. In my total records during the first PL20 flat file upload, items were reversed with text CORR and in which most of the amount are w.r.t clearing a/c.

  • Accounting document while doing Post Goods Receipt

    Hi,
    The scenario is like this.
    1.     Sales order1 is created.
    2.     Delivery document created; PGI (post goods issue) is done. Here the movement type is 601.
    I want to get back the material (equipment) for some reason; I want to check the material for its condition. If there is any damage, I have to charge the customer.  So, the material will be received to Return stock by return sales order with reference to the first sales order1 (Movement type 651); then will be sent to Quality (Movement type 457); if it is not damaged will be sent to unrestricted stock (Movement type 321) by transaction code MB1B.
    When I am doing the PGI, the accounting document is created; the Inventory account is credited and COGS (Cost of goods sold) is debited.
    When I am doing PGR (Post Goods Receipt), the accounting document is not created (Movement type 651).
    I have created a new u2018Schedule line categoryu2019 (YL) for the return process with the movement type 651.
    I want to get an accounting document while doing PGR. The inventory account is to be debited; the COGS is to be credited.
    Can I get the accounting document by changing the movement type in Schedule line category u2018YLu2019?
    Please guide me in this regard.

    Yes in your schedule line category if the movement type is not 651 then an accounting doc will be created
    For movement type 651 there wont be any accounting document
    In returns (651M.Type)  If a returns delivery exists, the return should be posted in the Sales (SD-SLS) component, not in the Inventory Management component.
    Depending on how Customizing for Sales is configured (the movement type is configured in the step Define Schedule Line Category), the delivery is posted to the following stock:
    - Blocked stock returns (non-valuated, not unrestricted-use) (movement type 651)
    - Unrestricted-use stock (movement type 653)
    - Quality inspection stock (movement type 655)
    - Blocked stock (movement type 657)
    If the given quantity is posted to blocked stock returns first, you can make a manual goods movement posting in the Inventory Management component to transfer the quantity to valuated stock.
    So, when the goods arrives in so called "Block stock returns" it is not your property, it belongs to the customer (the ownership has not changed) - it is not valuated. Whiles you post the goods to your own (plant) stock by 653/655/657 it becomes your property that's why it is valuated and material document will be created

    I chcecked the VTFL and I can only see that in this transaction you can do this kind of settings and change the reference field but in accounting document which is created after posting a billing document (and I would like to change it for accounting document created after posting GI when the billing doc. does not exist yet)

  • Goods issue posting

    Hello,
    As we know, when goods are issued, value change is posted to the Stock account in inventory accounting.
    I like to clarify what is this stock account. Is it in quantity or amount that the value change is posted? Are both the stock quantity and amount posted?
    Is stock account = material document? or the 2 GL accounts shown in Accounting Document in the system where we click that button from the material document screen?

    Based on your answer, I would like to  confirm that
    among other postings generated when Goods is issued, the following information are updated:
    1.  In Material Document ,Quantity is involved, not amount. This posting results in Reduction of inventory stock.
         So, reduction in inventory stock means in quantity terms.
    2.  Inventory Accounting is about posting of value change ($)   to the  Stock accounts which are : the Trading Goods GL account and Inventory change GL account, both shown via the 'Accounting Document' button in the screen showing material document.
    So, posting to stock accounts means the 2 GL accounts found in accounting document.
    Follow-up question:
    Which GL account is the COGS? Is it one of the 2 GLs shown in Accounting Document?

  • Controlling Document Not Getting Posted

    Dear All,
    We have a peculiar scenario of Controlling Document not getting posted. Any pointers on wat could be the issue will be highly helpful.
    Scenario:
    We have an interface which posts an accounting document.
    Dr. Expense
    Cr. Balance Sheet.
    The Cost Center is supplied thru the interface and FI document and Profit Center Document is posted without any issues. However, CO document is not generated, not sure wat could be the issue. We have performed the basic checks. Also, for the same expense account, we observe some postings have gone into CO where are some didnt'. The difference between documents posted with corresponding CO and documents without corrsponding CO posting is only the "Transaction Key". When we maintain blank Transaction key.. the system posts CO document, when transaction key is "WRX" for that specific GL the system doesn't post.
    Not sure why Standard SAP behaves like that. Please advice wat items i need to check to resolve
    this.

    We are getting the below error message,  when KE4ST is executed

    Message no. KE/AD604
    Diagnosis
    Document 6000000026 cannot be transferred to Profitability Analysis (CO-PA) because the business transaction"SD00'"(Billing document) is not profit-related.
    System Response
    The document is not posted to CO-PA.
    Procedure
    If you decide that the document does contain data relevant to CO-PA and that it therefore should be posted to CO-PA, change your Customizing settings accordingly. Otherwise you can ignore this message.

       1. First please check if COPA is active in the system i.e. tcode KEKE
       2. Then check if operating concern is active in tcode KEA0
       3. If so then check if billing document has an account assignment to PA segment. If not then maybe you have changed the account assignment in OKC9.
       4. If all the 3 conditions above are satisfied then you need to check if this is a made-to-order scenario (MTO). A made-to-order scenario can be identified in COPA in that the billing doc will have an account assignment to a sales order in addition to a
    PA segment (field vbap-kzvbr = 'E' and vbap-vbelv = sales order no).
      If the above conditions are satisfied then from a COPA point of view it is a MTO. In this case the invoice will be assigned to the sales order and will not be directly transferred to COPA. With the order settlement the costs and the revenues (invoice) will then be posted to COPA.

  • Document from last posting run in 2007 are not yet updated

    Hi Guru's,
    When I run the AJRW fiscal year change 2009, it was not successful because a system message says" fiscal year change in company code XXX, possible only after year end closing 2007.
    So I execute AJAB-Year End closing in 2007, in Tab " Closed Carried Out - it say "NO", when i double click  it says: "Document from last posting run in 2007 are not yet updated"
    So i check it in SM35 to see when did this error started, i found out it started at around mid 2007, July, status is In background instead of Processed. Out of 15 thousand transaction, 14 of which got an error.
    Please help how we are able to post asset accounting for 2009.

    check the error log why the transactions are not processed. Recreate the session with transaction code AFBD giving the year and fiscal period and check the error log. It will give the clue why the transactions are not processed.
    Those might not have processed due to GL account assignment or cost center master data issues.

    Here you have to design a excel macro sheet with parameters "Header Data" "Credit line Data" & "Debit Line Data"
    Header Data columns : Invoice date, Invoice number, posting date, document currency.
    Credit Line data Columns : Vendor Id, CoCd, amount of total invoice, posting key
    Debit line data Columns : GL account, Cost center, Profit Center, WBS, Base line item amount, tax amount.
    Based on useing the posting keys, SAP post the document as Invoice or Credit Note. Also, The total Credit amount ($ 300) have to match with Debit amount  (Line item 1: 50$, Line Item 2: $ 100 & Line Item 3 : $ 150) so you can split the debit balance to various GL accounts/ Cost Centers as per requirement.

    Hi, I´m trying to create an iview for batch document upload to the portal. At the moment, I've only been able to upload documents from a source directory in the server, given an xml file uploaded from the client, which indicates the location of these files.
    The inclution of the uploaded file to KM is not an issue, that is already solved. I'm just trying to make it usable by an administrative user that may not have access for creating folders in the portal server, unlike me.
    I need help doing one of these two things:
    1. creating an upload percentage status bar
    or 2. accesing the client's directory to upload and insert the file into the repository one by one.
    Can anyone help?
    (by the way, I'm trying to to exactly what the portal epa import iview does, but with documents, so i know it's possible, i just don't know how)
