Knowledge exchange not working

If I click on any of the knowledge exchange links from portatstudio,oracle.com, I receive a " Database Log In Failed" message.

    Hello ashish,
    I had that problem too. You have to apply note 1002299 to restore missing configurations in SAF.
    Also, if you worked with IIA in previous versions, take a look at note 656321 to check it's evolution (replacement by SAF).

  • Exchange not working

    Does anyone know of a way to fix the Exchange sync options in Yosemite? When I try to add an Exchange account it automatically configures everything, but nothing connects and now my calendars and mail etc are broken. I can add the email and notes back with the IMAP option, but I have had to switch to Outlook to get the mail and calendar options together - which is far from ideal.
    Does the automatic Exchange configuration work fro everyone else?

    It worked for me when I initiated an email - all went well.
    But when I received an email, then hit "Reply", it didn't seem to recognise Exchange - I tried to add an extra person into the To: field, but it didn't autofill, didn't recognise the address at all, and didn't let me add it into that field.  As I said - new emails were fine - I could add an address, and autofill worked fine (from the main Exchange server at the university).  But not with replies.  Go figure.
    Anyway, that's all in the past tense now - I successfully downgraded to Mavericks yesterday using Time Machine, and all is well once again.  And I have the Address Panel back in Mail - it is missing from Yosemite mail.

  • Mail for Exchange not working after a weekend turn...

    I have a customer that has used 2 x E51`s and now an E55 to get his emails from an Exchange Server for at least 18 months. It works absolutely fine usually, but he is in the habit of turning his mobile completely off on Friday night and not turning on until Monday morning. Occasionally this means that the emails do not come through when he turns back on, and you have to go in and manually force it to connect, and sometimes delete the profile and start again.
    There are lots of other users using this server with all sorts of devices, and they are having no issues at all, and we have lots of other customers using lots of different servers with E series devices and this hasnt come up at all. Clearly most customers turn their phones off now and again, and always get a reconnection, but then most will not do it longer than say a flight to the US.....so 8 hours or so.
    Anyone know of an issue caused by the phone not being connected for so long?

    I experienced the same issue. I thing a bug in the update. At the moment no more exchange sync. Using and IPod touch no problem => no Exch server problem. I hope a fix from Nokia.

    Not sure what might be happening, also not sure if NI goes into a 'Save or 'Under Contruction' mode at times, but 99% of the time it seems to work for me.
    Are you at risk for any 'local' network traffic problems?
    Also, I've attached a link that goes directly to the "Developer Exchange Feedback' group - it might be a more direct way to find resolve for connectivity issues.

  • Push for Exchange not working after MMS update

    The update for MMS actually went ok for me. And yes, I'm experiencing the same battery decrease everyone else is commenting on (very frustrating). But has anyone else had a problem with their exchange emails not coming through? Seems like right after the update, I actually have to go into my mail folder to "force" my emails through. I'd rather have this working then picture texts! Can someone please help??? Thanks!

    I didn't try resetting the phone first, I can try that.
    You can try that but that's not what I meant. The firmware gets save in your iTunes library os not matter how many often you restore your phone it will always restore from the firmware from your library. This firmware could have issues and as long as you restore from it it is more than likely you will keep having the same problems.
    Here's how it works:
    Mac:
    Go to Finder> library>iTunes>iPhone software update.
    There you will se the firmware version of your phone, Delete it and then restore. Note that now when you restore the phone, iTunes will re-download a new fresh firmware.
    Windows:
    Go to C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates.
    apply the same procedure described above and you'll have the same result.
    If are a windows user, when you get to the Documents and Setting folder, make sure that you select the option to view hidden folders from TOOLS> FOLDER OPTIONS> VIEW>SELECT VIEW HIDDEN FOLDERS so you can see the application data folder in case its not visible. And remember to sync as new phone
    I would recomend doing this first.

  • Using IPSec on TMG to secure access to Exchange not working

    I am trying to following the
    MS white paper to use IPsec to secure Exchange 2010 Outlook Anywhere via TMG.
    However, I am having trouble with getting IPsec configured properly on the TMG server. When I configure the IPsec Connection rule, Exchange site is still accessible without any restrictions.
    - I assigned an additional IP to the TMG server and created a new Web Listener
    - As a first step to ensure that everything works without IPsec, I have published Exchange on TMG and verified that I can access the server normally using OWA and Outlook Anywhere
    - The Root CA have been imported on the TMG servers.
    - I then follow the steps to create the Connection Security Rules where endpoint1 is any IP, and endpoint-2 is the IP of the TMG server, and configured it for computer authentication for inbound and outbound
    - At this point I believe that the published Exchange site should no longer be accessible since it requires IPsec for HTTPS access to the Web Listener. However, this is not the case. I suspect that it is ignoring the Connection Security Rule that was configured
    within Windows 2008 R2 and not TMG
    The part I am confused with is that the white paper outlines adding the Connection Security Rule in the Windows Firewall advanced security. However, I thought that TMG basically overrides any Windows firewall configuration with the firewall policies within
    TMG. So is there another way to set this up on TMG without having to configure any IPsec rules on the actual Exchange server.

    I already have "Require inbound and outbound" selected. It seems like TMG is just ignoring the connection security rule.
    Environment:
    TMG: Workgroup
    External NIC: x.x.1.1, gw set, no DNS
    - additional IP binded to external NIC x.x.1.2 dedicated for the web listener
    - Public NAT: x.1.1.2 translates to x.x.1.2
    ran "netsh advfirewall set global ipsec ipsecthroughnat serverandclientbehindnat"
    Internal NIC: x.x.2.1, no gw, DNS set
    The Web listener network is set to x.x.1.2
    OWA publishing rule is set to use the Web listener
    I verified that OWA is working normally without IPSec. The TMG logs shows HTTPS connections to the destination IP for x.x.1.2 (listener) during logon. After successful logon the log shows the Exchange server in the destination IP address column.
    I create a Connection Security Rule
    - Endpoint 1: any IP
    - Endpoint 2: x.x.1.2 (listener IP)
    - Protocols: TCP, endpoint 1: all ports, Endpoint 2: Specific: 443 (I also tried selecting the protocol to ANY)
    - Authentication: Require inbound and outbound
    - Advanced: all profiles selected
    When I enable this Connection filter, I can still access Exchange normally without using IPSec on the client. I can see that TMG still allows 443 access to the web listener without requiring IPSec authentication. It behalves exactly the same as before I
    created the connection filter.

    is far far less than perfect (300 out of 2500 contacts sync). The iphone techs tell me this problem is universal. I sure didn't get this information when I bought the phone. The apple techs for cannot fix these problems. The software seems flawed.

  • Exchange not working in the country of residence, but outside

    I got Mail configured with an Exchange account. The server uses Windows Exchange 2007 Service Pack 2 Update Rollup 3. +We're updating to Rollup 4 just in case.+
    For some reason, it stops working in the country where the person lives (and where the office is located) — it doesn't matter where, if I try inside the office or anywhere else within the country, the only way to fix this is deleting and reconfiguring it again. The tricky thing here is that it works perfectly outside the country, without any issues whatsoever.

    Do you have auto dismiss selected in the tool options. You can un-check that option and show loup and you should then be able to keep clicking until you select done. See if this tutorial on WB helps.

    Nothing wrong with the account. It works fine for a solid week then just craps out, i.e., contacts and calendar freeze up, and the email wont show up. I've tried deleting and seeing if the freeze/no email issues persists and so far, the phone works fine. That leads me to believe it's the exchange that is the problem.

    At first I had the same problem, but I found the solution.
    What I did was that instead of connecting the macbook to the phone, use the phone to search for the macbook, and then connect it.
    I have a BlackBerry and thats exactly what i did, because it didn't work if I got the computer to search for the phone and then connect.

    I really do not understand why you guys decided to take out the Knowledge Exchange Portal.
    This place was THE PLACE to get in the move with Oracle Portal. Developers could share and find things. Definitely was not the best user friendly interface, but was doing its job.
    From about 3 or 4 months the site is down and show this "friendly" message:
    "Knowledge Exchange is no longer available"
    There are some forums on this and no one from Oracle had ever write a single line.

    I think Oracle Corporation should open this kind of spaces to let the developers share.. If not, many many many open source GNU portal frameworks will take out Oracle Portal from the CM scene, just take a look to http://www.cmsmatrix.org/matrix/cms-matrix.
    I hope some day all the Portal enthusiasts , like me, will have a oracle.com site to share Knowledge AGAIN

    Just had this issue.  I turned WIFI off and it connected fine.  Then turned WIFI back on and working as always.
    It had something to do with the WIFI conflicting with the exchange server.

    Try a soft reset, press and hold both power and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears, about 15 seconds, then release both. If still no joy, go into Settings>General>Reset then tap Reset All Settings. If still no joy, back up your iPod to your computer then do a Restore to Backup, if that doesn't work Restore to new through iTunes.
