Label Studio - Create a tag file as a pdf

I am attempting to create a tag file as a pdf file in label studio.  When I attempt to use Adobe Acrobat, I get a message that says that "font WASP128M could not be embedded because of licensing restrictions."  Business Objects suggested trying another software to create the pdf file.   I downloaded Pdf Creator,  it creates a pdf file, but there is nothing in it.   Does any one have any ideas on how to do this?  Thanks for the help.

Chris,
Have you tried using one of the following pdf printer drivers?
Here is some info from our KB article:
There are many companies that offer PDF printer drivers. SAP BusinessObjects is not affiliated with any of these companies and does not recommend one in particular. The below information may change without SAP BusinessObjects knowledge. Here is a list of several PDF printer drivers and where to find them:
- PDF Factory is from FinePrint Software, it can be found at http://www.fineprint.com/index.html
- Freeware PDFCreator is a freeware PDF print driver, it can be downloaded from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
- Win2PDF is from Dane Prairie Systems, Inc. and can be found at http://www.win2pdf.com/
I think Larry and I found that there are some issues with the latest version of PDFCreator but the other two should work fine.
Thanks,
Kendra

    What do you mean by a LiveCycle schema file. Schemas are not an Adobe technology. We can use a schema do design a form but we just rely on the fact the schema file is valid.

    Hi,
    Try to use custom actions to call some managed method, execute the SQL script to create and initialize the database in the method.
    Check this article, it should be helpful for you to create the script and installation:

  • Issue with project having Tag File containing definition of other Tag File

    Hi Everyone,
    I have a small problem which you experts are able to help with.
    As the subject of this Post has suggested, I have a project which was originally built in NetBean 6.0 and I'm trying to migrate it across to JDeveloper 10.1.3. So far, I've managed to compiled all jsps and java source files successfully but I'm now stuck with the following error messages during building of the project in JDeveloper:
    --- START OF ERROR ---
    Error(6): Unable to instantiate tag: menu:tab (class: oracle.jsp._tag._tabmenu._tab_tag) Make sure that the tag class is available and that the tag library containing the class is not excluded from this application.
    Error(6): Unable to find class for bean: null defined by tag with class: oracle.jsp._tag._tabmenu._tab_tag
    --- END OF ERROR ---
    I believe the reason was that I have this Tag file (menu.tag) that contains definitions and references to another Tag file and here is its content:
    --- START OF TAG FILE ---
    <%@ taglib prefix="menu" tagdir="/WEB-INF/tags/tabmenu" %>
    <%@ attribute name="tab" required="true" type="java.lang.String" %>
    <jsp:useBean id="login" class="au.wa.apa.webbeans.WrsLogin" scope="session" />
    <div id="menu">
    <ul>
    <menu:tab tab="NEW" currentTab="<%=tab%>" label="New Query" tooltip="Create New Query" url="aq/adv_new_query.wrs?formMode=new"/>
    <menu:tab tab="OPEN" currentTab="<%=tab%>" label="Open Queries" tooltip="View Open/Active Queries" url="aq/adv_queries_list.wrs?view=OPEN"/>
    <menu:tab tab="CLOSED" currentTab="<%=tab%>" label="Closed Queries" tooltip="View Closed Queries" url="aq/adv_queries_list.wrs?view=CLOSED"/>
    <menu:tab tab="SEARCH" currentTab="<%=tab%>" label="Search" tooltip="Search Query" url="aq/adv_queries_search.wrs?view=OPEN"/>
    <% if (!"STAFF".equals(login.getUserType())) { %>
    <menu:tab tab="ATTN" currentTab="<%=tab%>" label="Attention Of" tooltip="Attention Of Administration" url="aq/adv_query_attention_of_list.wrs"/>
    <% } else { %>
    <menu:tab tab="TEMP" currentTab="<%=tab%>" label="Templates" tooltip="Template Management" url="aq/adv_query_template_list.wrs"/>
    <% } %>
    </ul>
    <div class="clear"></div>
    </div>
    --- END OF TAG FILE ---
    I've this problem for several days now and have not been able to solve it and I hope you are able to help me with this problem. Thank you for time and assistance and have a nice day.
    Kind Regards,
    John

    Hi Guys,
    Do we have any workaround to this problem? Any feedback will be welcomed.

  • Srclib.api not created in PAR file

    I updated a bundle file with Labels for Commands for KM the problem is on compiling it the needed srclib.api in the par file is not created. Thus when you go to KM to view the Properties they don't have the labels. Naturally because it can't find the class file with the labels . I have re-install with IDE which is SP15 NW04 version that didn't help.
    Any ideas on why this is happening?

    Hi Henry,
    the srclib part is definitely not needed, as this is only a storage for the sources of the project to be able to restore the whole project from the PAR itself. The parts inside are not used at runtime at all! (The inclusion of the sources can be switched on / off at PAR export / deployment, when not using the "Quick PAR Upload" but the "Create/Export PAR file" function.)
    What you probably need is that the .properties files, which maybe you have touched within the src section, are not copied into the PAR. There is a setting within NWDS to activate this: Window / Preferences / SAP Enterprise Portal / Application Development Studio / Yes, I want the non java sources included into the portal components jars. Activate that and try again...
    Hope it helps

  • Creating .mem.image files

    Can anyone briefly give the procedure to compile the C code (written for a custom application using OpenSPARC T1) to create the .mem.image files??
    I have sun studio 12.2 on CentOS I am encountering errors like :
    some command under /usr/ccs/bin/ld is missing
    I am guessing that the ccs folder isnt there as a part of CentOS.If that is the case then which operating system (apart from OpenSolaris??) can be used for the .mem.image compilation???
    Kindly reply,thanks in advance.

  • Finder is auto-tagging files. Need fix!

    Before Mavericks, I created a rule to mark certain downloaded files with a gray label. Don't really remember how I did that. Since upgrading, a large number of saved and downloaded files are marked with the gray tag. It is not across the board, but I have experimented with .txt, .scap, and .pdf files. Jpegs downloaded from safari also get gray labels, but oddly enough, only the first two or three files downloaded into a folder are marked, while the rest are clear. Other programs seem unaffected.
    I have carefully looked at the save dialog when saving and found no entry in the tags field, but the files are marked with a gray tag anyway. I use Default Folder X for my save dialog and found no rules attached. Is it possible that the old label rule is somewhere in Maverivcks I can't find and is being wildly misinterpreted and applied? If so, how do I fix it?
    Thanks,
    Paul

    I have been trying to figure this out for almost a year now.
    It turns out I was using Default Folder X, and when I showed the "comments and tags in save dialogs", on the bottom of the box where you can enter spotlight comments or tags, the "label" had been set to gray... and the box for "remember this next time" had been checked.
    Here's the rub!  When the save dialog didn't activate/show the Default Folder X add-on, it still automatically performed this task.
    (Even in Mavericks, it's called a label, and not a tag.)
    I finally set the label to "none" and FINALLY solved this problem.
    For what it's worth?  This would never have bugged me as much as it did if I used any other color - I only use gray for old files or files that I intend to delete soon/later, and I have had to alter that convention because of this automatic tagging that's been going on.
    Given that the files were being labeled even when the Default Folder X window modification wasn't taking place, perhaps it might be possible that it could still be doing this by default, if the app wasn't 100% uninstalled?
    I hope this helps someone!  You have no ideas the dark places I have been to in the Finder trying to find some root cause to this problem!

  • Is there a way to create editable tags in a dashboard section?

    Is there a way to create editable tags in a dashboard section?
    The requirement is - User should be able to enter comments in a edit box for a section in a dashboard and save it. For other users, this should show up as a non-editable comment while for the user it should be editable box.
    Example: In a report in a section on dashboard for Supplier Trends, a Purchase Manager should enter the commments -" This weeks trends show no issues. Next week watch out for supplier X". For everyone other than him, this should show up as comments.
    1. Is there a way to achieve this functionality?
    2. Can this be achived using write back option?
    3. Or will this require java scripting?
    Thanks

    Hi,
    If you want to have a better experience of your music files, how about just use WMP to enjoy all the songs, you can
    sort by Artists or Album or whatever you like. There, you can have a better and easier way to organize all your music
    files.
    For Windows Explorer, did you mean
    medium size icons in artist, while list icon in albums, you can just organize as you want like the following screenshot.

  • How to create a PAR file from EAR file

    Hi,
       I have created an Web Dynpro Application . When i deploy it in Remote J2EE Engine, it will deploy as EAR file. It then runs as normal Web Application in Web browser. My requirement is to create an iView for my Web dynpro appn in EP. That is possible only by creating a PAR file. so How to create an PAR file from EAR in NWDS(NetWeaver Developer Studio).
    How to access the EAR file in NWDS or J2EE ?
    Thanks in Advance ,

    Saravanan

    Hi,
    To create a iview,
    log on to portal, New iView and select SAP webdynpro iview.
    It will ask for namespace which is usually , local/Project Name
    and application name is the name of the application.
    We dont have to create par file for this requirement

  • How to properly handle Exception thrown in a .tag file?

    I've got a .jsp file that makes use of some custom tags, each defined in their own .tag file, and located in WEB-INF/tags. I'm having a lot of trouble with the scenario of cleanly dealing with an exception raised by scriptlets in either a .jsp file, and a .tag file. I'm using both Java and Tomcat 6....
    Originally, I wanted to use .tag files in order to componentize common elements that were present in .jsp pages, as well as move ugly scriptlets out of .jsp pages, and isolate them in tag files with their associated page elements.
    Things started getting hairy when I started exploring what happens when an exception is thrown (bought not handled) in a scriptlet in a .tag file. Basically, my app is a servlet that forwards the user to various .jsp pages based on given request parameters. The forwarding to the relevant .jsp page is done by calls to the following method:
    servletContext.getRequestDispatcher("/" + pageName).forward(request, response);
    Where 'pageName' is a String with the name of the .jsp I want to go to...
    Calls to this method are enclosed in a try block, as it throws both a ServletException, and IOException...
    When either my .jsp, or .tag throw an exception in a scriptlet, the exception is wrapped in a JSPException, which is then wrapped in a ServletException.
    I can catch this exception in my servlet... but then what? I want to forward to an error page, however, in the catch block, I can't forward in response to this exception, as that results in an IllegalStateException, as the response has already been committed. So what do I do? How do I get from this point, to my "error.jsp" page?
    It was suggested to me that I use the <% @ page isErrorPage="true" %> directive in my error.jsp,
    and the in my real .jsp, use <%page errorPage="/error.jsp" %>.
    This works great when the exception is thrown in my .jsp.... But when the exception is thrown in the .tag file... not so much...
    My .jsp page was rendered up until the point where the <my:mytag/> (the tag with the offending raised exception) was encountered. Then, instead of forwarding to the error page when the error in the tag is encountered, the error page is rendered as the CONTENT of of my TAG. The rest of the .jsp is then NEVER rendered. I checked the page source, and there is no markup from the original .jsp that lay below the my tag. So this doesn't work at all. I don't want to render the error page WITHIN the half of the .jsp that did render... Why doesn't it take me away from the .jsp with the offending tag altogether and bring me to the error.jsp?
    Then it was suggested to me that I get rid of those page directives, and instead define error handling in the web.xml using the following construct:
    <error-page>
    <exception-type>java.lang.Exception</exception-type>
    <location>/error</location>
    </error-page>
    <error-page>
    <error-code>404</error-code>
    <location>/error</location>
    </error-page>
    For this, I created a new servlet called ErrorServlet, and mapped it to /error
    Now I could mangle the end of the URL, which causes a 404, and I get redirected to the ErrorServlet. Yay.
    However, exceptions being thrown in either a .jsp or .tag still don't direct me to the ErrorServlet. Apparently this error handling mechanism doesn't work for .jsp pages reached via servletContext.getRequestDispatcher("/" + pageName).forward(request, response) ????
    So I'm just at a total loss now. I know the short answer is "don't throw exceptions in a .jsp or .tag" but frankly, that seems a pretty weak answer that doesn't really address my problem... I mean, it would really be nice to have some kind of exception handler for runtime exceptions thrown in a scriptlet in .tag file, that allows me to forward to a page with detailed stacktrace output, etc, if anything for debugging purposes during development...
    If anyone has a few cents to spare on this, I'd be ever so grateful..
    Thanks!!
    Jeff

    What causes the exception?
    What sort of exception are you raising from the tag files?
    Have you got an example of a tag file that you can share, and a jsp that invokes it so people can duplicate the issue without thinking too much / spending too much time?
    My first instinct would be that the buffer is being flushed, and response committed before your Exception is raised.
    What you describe is pretty much standard functionality for Tomcat in such cases.

  • How I can create a XML file from java Aplication

    How I can create a XML file from java Aplication
    whith have a the following structure
    <users>
    <user>
    <login>anyName</login>
    <password>xxxx</password>
    </user>
    </users>
    the password label must be encripted
    accept any suggestion

    Let us assume you have all the data from the jsp form in an java bean object..
    Now you want a xml file. This can be acheived in 2 ways
    1. Write it into a file using java.io classes. Say you have a class with name
    write("<name>"+obj.getName+</name>);
    bingo you have a flat file with the xml
    2. Use data binding to do the trick
    will recommend JiBx and Castor for the 2nd option

  • Creating an xml file from java.

    I trying to create an xml file using a java program. I just wondering what is the best way to go about it and what should i use jdom ,xerces sax etc.

    Use JAXP+SAX.
    Here an example:import java.io.*;
    // SAX classes.
    import org.xml.sax.*;
    import org.xml.sax.helpers.*;
    //JAXP 1.1
    import javax.xml.parsers.*;
    import javax.xml.transform.*;
    import javax.xml.transform.stream.*;
    import javax.xml.transform.sax.*;
    // PrintWriter from a Servlet
    PrintWriter out = response.getWriter();
    StreamResult streamResult = new StreamResult(out);
    SAXTransformerFactory tf = (SAXTransformerFactory) SAXTransformerFactory.newInstance();
    // SAX2.0 ContentHandler.
    TransformerHandler hd = tf.newTransformerHandler();
    Transformer serializer = hd.getTransformer();
    serializer.setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.ENCODING,"ISO-8859-1");
    serializer.setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.DOCTYPE_SYSTEM,"users.dtd");
    serializer.setOutputProperty(OutputKeys.INDENT,"yes");
    hd.setResult(streamResult);
    hd.startDocument();
    AttributesImpl atts = new AttributesImpl();
    // USERS tag.
    hd.startElement("","","USERS",atts);
    // USER tags.
    String[] id = {"PWD122","MX787","A4Q45"};
    String[] type = {"customer","manager","employee"};
    String[] desc = {"Tim@Home","Jack&Moud","John D'o"};
    for (int i=0;i<id.length;i++)
      atts.clear();
      atts.addAttribute("","","ID","CDATA",id);
    atts.addAttribute("","","TYPE","CDATA",type[i]);
    hd.startElement("","","USER",atts);
    hd.characters(desc[i].toCharArray(),0,desc[i].length());
    hd.endElement("","","USER");
    hd.endElement("","","USERS");
    hd.endDocument();
    [i]This xml generation program might be the best solution because it uses JAXP 1.1 so it will work under JDK 1.4 or JDK 1.2/1.3 with XALAN2 library (or any XML library JAXP 1.1 compliant). It's also memory-friendly because it doesn't need DOM.
