Landing Page code?

Hi
I have SLES11-x64 + Teaming 2.1. Default Landing Page code is UTF-8, can I change it?

  • How to add landing page s-parameter to a form submission?

    Hi,
    Really hoping somebody can help me. This is something I have seen used in many of my previouse roles and I would like to introduce it to my current position but am a bit lost. We develop our website inhouse and are currently in the process of migrating it to Dreamweaver CSS, which I am unfamiliar with.
    What I want to do is introduce a tracking code that allows me to see excatly where the original click came from on all Email submissions (conversions).
    What i would like to happen is, when a lead form from our website is submitted there is a hidden default field that comes through to us on the Email submission. That field should (if all goes to plan) pull the S parameter from the URL of the landing page. This S parameter is a code that I have generated and placed in the destination URL of all PPC ads and campaigns (as below)
    I believe I have the correct piece of script ,  I’m just not sure how to place it and what I need to amend within it .
        <form action="jspostto.htm" method="get">
            <input type="hidden" id="hiddenParameterValue" name="hiddenParameterValue" />
            <input type="submit" value="Submit" />
        </form>
        blah<br />
        <script language="javascript" type="text/javascript">
            document.getElementById("hiddenParameterValue").value = getParam("f");
        </script>
    An example of the kind or code I am putting in is www.sapphiresystems.com/uk/sunsystems/index.htm?s=GUKAOOH02&K={keyword} in the destination URLs of PPC campaigns and Facebook links to the website as such www.sapphiresystems.com/sapb1/index.htm?s=FBSAPBOX.
    Really appreciate any help or insight you can offer,
    Many thanks
    Kiti

  • What are the options for integrating the event catalog and event landing pages in our website?

    We'd like to integrate the event catalog and event landing pages into our website but would prefer not to use the standard iframe embed code. Are there other solutions available, like an API or something else?
    Reason for this is that when we tried it with the iframe embed code the event catalog seems to load quite slow in a webpage on our website. Plus it seems we can't change the width and height of the event catalog with the CQ5 editor, or have the event catalog embed dynamically change in size depending on the amount of events in the catalog.

    Keeping everything in one scene is the better way to go.  Scenes are useful for animators who do not use navigation, they just make movies that play frame after frame without stopping.  But for anything that involves navigating the timeline you will have less headaches if you just avoid them and keep everything in the one main timeline.
    There are primarily two approaches to implementing pages in a timeline.  Either spread them out along the timeline and navigate from frame to frame to access them, or create them as movieclips (all in the same frame) and manage their visibility.  The latter approach makes it easier to maintain the status of a one page if navigating to another is necessary.  And you might find it useful to mix these two approaches at times.
    When you have everything on one timeline, you can have a layer dedicated to actionscript that you extend the full length of the timeline, which makes shareable code, such as variables and functions, available to anything along the timeline.  This avoids any need to have duplicate function definitions since you can have the same single function available to multiple pages in the site.  I usually use two actions layers... one for the shared stuff which has all code in frame 1 only, and another for frame specific code such as timeline commands and other action coding that needs to happen at particular frames.

  • Hide password and user name fields in secure form on landing page

    On a landing page I don't want the password or user name displayed in the "secure" form because I think it will keep people from downloading our e-book. It will cause what some refer to as too much friction—visitors will feel that we are asking too much of them just to download an e-book so won't do it.
    I found somewhere where the user name can be populated with the e-mail address, although I couldn't figure out where to put the code to make it work.
    Can the password fields also be auto-populated and hidden so the user can access the secure zone to download the e-book never even knowing that they had a user name and password assigned to them?
    I'd really appreciate some help here and please keep in mind that html and css is where my expertise stops so if there is a java solution I will need the code and how and where to add it.

  • How do you add portable links to the Custom Landing Page

    I have customized the PS2 Landing Page. This will be deployed to multiple environments. I need the url links on the page to be portable and point to a location on the server it is running on. (ex. anyHost.oracle.com/xyz where anyHost will be the server this is running on).
    I've tried using EL in the goLink : destination="http://#{facesContext.externalContext.request.serverName}/xyz"
    and also:
    goLink: destination="http://#{landingBean.host}.oracle.com/xyz"
    where the code is:
    package custom.webcenter.spaces;
    import javax.faces.context.FacesContext;
    import javax.servlet.http.Cookie;
    import javax.servlet.http.HttpServletRequest;
    public class landingBean {
    public landingBean() {
    public String getHost() {
    FacesContext context = FacesContext.getCurrentInstance();
    HttpServletRequest req = (HttpServletRequest)context.getExternalContext().getRequest();
    String host = req.getServerName();
    if (host.equalsIgnoreCase("127.0.0.1")) {//If running this from the laptop, return abcde
    return "abcde";
    else { //split the hostname and return the first part
    return host.substring(0, 6);
    These did not work and caused the page to not display at all.
    Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
    Thank you!

    I tried this:
    <af:outputText value="http://#{facesContext.externalContext.request.serverName}:#{facesContext.externalContext.request.serverPort}/" />When i run this, it shows:
    http://localhost:7101/
    I believe this is whay you need.

  • Landing Page with Buy now Buttons for products?

    Hi,
    I've been searching all morning and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction please.
    We have 1000 products on BC and I wanted to create a custom landing style page offering 3 set products that people can click to buy now. ie just a simple buy now button.
    I don't want it to look like our normal small or large catalogue but as a separate landing page.
    I would like when the customers to click Buy Now or Add to Cart that it adds them to the cart.
    e.g
    blah blah blah
    large image of the item
    underneath = Buy Now / Add to cart
    blah blah blah
    large image of the item
    underneath = Buy Now / Add to cart
    etc.
    I tried using {module_product} inseting the item but it only shows a tiny pic and has no buy now button.
    I also tried inserting an actual html code of the products button, but it didn't work either.
    <div><img src="/images/btn_addtocart.png" alt="add to cart" onclick="AddToCart(98416,1375845,'',3,'','',false);return false;" /></div>
    If I just create them as text is there a product specific buy now button I can insert so that item gets added?
    I've seen websites do this with a paypal buy button but then it wont go through our CRM etc.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you

    My routine, as always, has been to do the pages in iWeb and then using iWeb I select "Publish site changes" to a folder locally on my drive. Then, using Transmit (and I have used Cyberduck) I upload the folder of files and the file ending in .html for the changed pages to my server that hosts the site. What you are telling me is that either iWeb is not "publishing" all the changed files to my local folder, or there are files that are located somewhere else within the structure of the site that I have failed to upload.
    I looked for paste.css files and found it in the scripts > regions or whatever folder but these are not files that I typically have ever looked for or uploaded when changing a page in iWeb.

  • Landing page/splash screen auto redirect after x seconds

    Hi Guys!
    I'd like to create a landing page or splash screen which autodirects the user to the main index of the site after x seconds, with some kind of javascript or other HTML snippet code (I'm not capable of and I do not want any Flash).
    Thanks for your information!
    Lexis.

    Bonjour
    Redirect code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    var url ='../../pagename.html';
    var delay = 4;
    var d = delay * 1000;window.setTimeout ('parent.location.replace(url)', d);
    </script>
    Replace ../../pagename.html by the path or the URL of your page,
    and change thenumber of sec. (4 is the number of sec. here).

  • Landing page size

    Hi everyone,
    I created a landing page and for some reason the size did not come out correctly.  Here is the site:  www.fitnessforherworld.com.  The size is 1180 x 523.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Erica

    Hi,
    in addition: looking to your source code, I can't see a "size is 1180 x 523." You wrote this:
    <img src="Charlotte'sComingSoonPage.png" width="1024" height="700" />
    And your page size should depend entirely on how much content you need to display per page and who your target audience is. You could control it for example here: Google labs - Browser Size http://browsersize.googlelabs.com.
    A good practice is e.g. to center your webpage with a css advice like:
    CSS:
    body {
    width: 1000px; /*width is only a proposal*/
    margin:0 auto; /* with width, this centers page on screen*/

    Hi,
    Please note PayPal Standard is a "non-seamless" gateway thus redirecting customers to PayPal to finalize payment.
    You'll need to use the PayPal "seamless" options either Payflow or Website Payments Pro.  This will direct customers to your purchase form without any redirection occurring as you require.  Please change your gateway settings to achieve this.

  • Newb, needs advice about landing page

    Hey guys, I am very new to Dreamweaver. I was asked by my
    boss to create a landing page. She asked me because I am the
    graphic designer for all print material. She is well aware (as am
    I...lol) I am no web developer....But I would LOVE to learn and I
    have plenty of time to figure it out.
    only requirements are: Dimensions are 950px by 475px. must
    use divs, and be centered. I don't need to do anything fancy script
    wise, basically this is a welcome page with a summary and 2 links
    and whatever aesthetic design i come up with.....(in short, it kind
    of looks like a postcard) I am familiar with CSS & html coding,
    but I'd say as far as layout structure and professional web
    standards, I'm a complete novice.
    I will be creating the layout in photoshop.
    Would you recommend that I slice up the photoshop image? and
    play with the CSS that photoshop generates?
    Or would you recommend that I FIRST set up the "container"
    div and the rest of the layout in Dreamweaver, then slice photoshop
    and place each image individually..
    Again, I am very new to web stuff....But I would love to
    learn the web standards, best practices, what structure is best to
    use, etc...
    Any advice would be greatly appreciate...thanks a lot, Take
    care...

    > just out of curiousity, why never use the code that
    Photoshop
    > generates?
    Because Photoshop (and any other graphics app that writes
    HTML) are *TOO
    GOOD* at what you have asked them to do, and that is to
    create HTML to
    exactly produce the graphic layout you have designed. To do
    this they have
    to drastically merge and split cells, filling the table with
    col- and
    rowspans, and producting a completely inflexible and
    monolithic structure
    that breaks apart as soon as the shape of the contents
    changes (for example,
    when I change the browser's text size display). Crash/bang.
    Furthermore,
    the resulting mess is simply impossible to troubleshoot.
    Now - for HTML emails, you will usually need to use tables
    for your layout
    since email clients cannot be relied on to properly display
    more
    contemporary layout methods. But for web pages, you'd want to
    move beyond
    this very poor layout structure created by the graphics apps.
    > people love that PS generates code for them
    Only those who don't understand could go in this category.
    That markup is
    good for prototyping, but lousy for production. But look at
    the web - 80%
    of what you see there is prototype-level stuff.

  • Why do I have lines on my landing page where i sliced it in Photoshop

    I am making a very basic landing page, designed in photoshop, As I need two buttons, I have sliced my page before importing it to dreamweaver.  Whilst initially it shows in the webbrowser correctly, when I zoom in and out it starts to show the lines where I sliced it and it comes apart slightly showing the background colour in those lines.
    I also noticed an extra image that i did not create called spacer. Can this have something to do with the issues that I am having?
    Where are these lines coming from? How can I get rid of them? what are my options?
    I know this is not a technically optimal way to make a landing page, but for this specific example I dont need it to be optimized for SEO, it just needs to be visual.
    Many thanks in advance for feedback.
    Mariel

    Photoshop generated code is notoriously unstable and unsuitable for use in real web pages.  The layout is far too rigid and apt to produce the unsightly gaps that you describe.
    Best advice, build your page in DW with CSS and HTML code.  Use Photoshop for images only.
    Start with one of the pre-built CSS Layouts in DW.  Go to File > New > Blank page > HTML.  Choose a layout from the 3rd panel.  Hit Create.

  • Responsive Landing Page w/Form in WISIWYG Editor

    Hey There,
    Does anyone have any advice in terms of making a landing page with a form responsive in the WISIWYG editor? I've programmed regular landing pages that use media queries but not sure how those associate with the editor in Eloqua.
    Thanks!

    I am having a similar issue. I am experiencing the issue with the upload wizard when uploading a zip file of the landing page html and assets. Below is the link to what the landing page should look like, however, after going through the upload wizard process, I get this page (banking.bancofcal.com/CL) which you can see I am somehow missing the header and main graphic. Everything else loads properly.

  • I have a Landing Page on Photoshop that I need to transfer to Dreamweaver. How do I do that.

    I have a Completed Landing Page on Photoshop. I need to transfer it to Dreamweaver. How do I do that.

    I had not seen these articles. They're very interesting in many ways.
    They're using a lot of the panel stuff in Dreamweaver that I don't use. Instead, I write code directly into the CSS and HTML documents. I think that, to a certain extent, if someone were using Fireworks to create a web page (or website) one could get really confused when working with Dreamweaver, as You're not seeing what you designed in Fireworks until the very end when you have everything together.
    And Fireworks is EOL, Adobe will not continue its development. Many of the websites I saw developed in Fireworks were entirely tables-based, had no style sheets and were created by people who, largely, ignored mocern web development techniques (although this particular tutorial does use them).
    Going forward, Fireworks will not be an intermediate step in designing websites.
    QParker's original question remains. How does one go from a Photoshop document to a real website. It took Adobe three separate web pages to offer a tutorial (for CS3) for Fireworks. I work with designers who sent me layered Photoshop files and I simply don't use Fireworks. And I create the style sheet elements before I create the HTML (this tutorial creates the HTML first and then styles it later, which I am certain will tend to cause a lot of confusion for anyone who wants to see what they're going to get as they create it).
