Thx for the help so far, I've been able to get most of this one by myself thanks to the help I received earlier. It seems I am having one very small issue with my code, maybe you can see what it is

So you can see I am having a problem gettng it to stop at 0

modify this part of ur code:
  for...
      for...
            if(j-i>=0) System.out.print(" "+(j-i));
            else System.out.print (" 0");
...

  • Unable to render projects on the last day of free trial

    hi.
    during my 30 days of AE CS6 trial i managed to render several projects without any issues whatsoever.
    Yesterday was the last day of the trial. I wanted to export my last project (durationn ~25 seconds), but when i added project to the render queue ant hit Render button, i got immediate (after 2secs) confirmation that rendering has finished. normally it takes several minutes to render. and when i played "rendered" mpeg file on vlc player, i neither saw nor heard anything. tried render in these formats: avi, f4v, mpeg2
    Today, as a surprize, i got one last chance to use AE. i tweaked my project ant tried to render - this time there is absolutely no progress in rendering process - everything stands stll. again, tryng to render f4v, mpeg2, avi, as i did throughout those 29 days without any issue.
    is this normal that i am not allowed to render on the last day?

    Y'know, I think by the final day or two of the tryout version, most people have pretty much decided whether or not to buy the real thing.  I don't think you'll find a boatload of people who are splitting hairs like you're trying to do. 
    Not many people around here have much experience with the final hours and minutes of the tryout: we bought it a long time ago.

    Hi, had the same problem with my ipad.
    First of all I would suggest to close all apps which might be opened (maybe one is working without that you know).
    To close the apps press twice in a row the home button and keep a finger on the first app which appesars on the lower band until the entire row starts moving. then press the red MINUS on all oyur apps in order to close them all.
    Then switch on and off your phone and see whether the battery is still draining.
    if this continues try to keep you phone on a flight modus to see if this is due to internet connection.
    maybe you should review some of your settings, as notifications, bluetooth, push services etc. (see specific topics on how to save battery).
    If you still have not solved your problem try to restart you phone as a new one (after that you can re-download all your apps). 8do this by using itunes)
    remind to save your data (e.g. pictures) prior to this operation.

    These would fill my log right before my computer would restart. 
    I cannot seem to find the file anywhere, but then again I don't know exactly what I am looking for.
    Please help.

    First, uninstall "SuperTV" (whatever that is) according to the developer's instructions. It isn't working and it's filling the log with noise.
    If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
    Launch the Console application.
    Step 1
    Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left.
    Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes) in the search box. Note the timestamps of those log messages, which refer to the times when the system was booted. Now clear the search box and scroll back in the log to the last boot time when you had the problem. Post the messages logged before the boot, while the system was unresponsive or was failing to shut down. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract.
    Post the log text, please, not a screenshot. If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message. When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
    PLEASE DO NOT INDISCRIMINATELY DUMP THOUSANDS OF LINES FROM THE LOG INTO A MESSAGE. If you do that, I will not respond.
    Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Edit it out by search-and-replace in a text editor before posting.
    Step 2
    Still in Console, look under System Diagnostic Reports for crash or panic logs, and post the most recent one, if any. In the interest of privacy, I suggest you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if present (it may not be.) Please don’t post shutdownStall, spin, or hang logs — they're very long and not helpful.

  • Select a Project in the Library Inspector from Projects View -- now broken?

    The new interface is missing something I used to use all the time.  In Olde Aperture (3.3.1), double-clicking any selected Project(s) in Projects View showed the contents of that (those) Project(s) in the Browser and selected them in the Library tab of the Inspector.  This behavior has been changed (3.3.2): now the contents are shown in the Browser, but as a subset of the superset of Projects, which remains selected in the Library tab of the Inspector.
    This represents a bit of a dam in my workflow.  I manage a few Libraries with thousands of nested Projects.  I often need to select the Project in the Library tab of the Inspector.  Double-clicking a Project (or Projects) was a great way to select those Projects in the Library tab of the Inspector.  Is there a quick way to do this in 3.3.2?  The old way kept with Aperture's visual orientation.  Currently, I am having to memorize the names of Projects in order to find them.  This is, afaict, a step backwards.
    Is there any justification/benefit to having "Projects" remain selected after one double-clicks a Project or Projects in Projects View?
    Notes:
    - when two or more Projects are selected in Projects View and then double-clicked, one can right-click an Image and select "Show in Project" from the pop-up context menu.  When only one Project is selected originally, that menu choice is not shown.
    - you cannot open the Project Info pane after double-clicking a Project in Projects View.  You must either return to Projects View and click the "i" icon on the Project tile, or otherwise right-click the Project name in the Library tab of the Inspector and select "Show Project info" from the context menu pop-up.

    None that I can think of.

    Only the "Goto Project" button in the "Project Info" panel, but I would not call that quick.

    - when two or more Projects are selected in Projects View and then double-clicked, one can right-click an Image and select "Show in Project" from the pop-up context menu.  When only one Project is selected originally, that menu choice is not shown.
    But that is really a nice work-around - just take care to at least select two projects at the same time.
    I missed that feature, because I was annoyed that it does not work when selecting one project.
    - you cannot open the Project Info pane after double-clicking a Project in Projects View.  You must either return to Projects View and click the "i" icon on the Project tile, or otherwise right-click the Project name in the Library tab of the Inspector and select "Show Project info" from the context menu pop-up.
    But at least you can still double click the project and go to the project with the "Project Info" HUD open, and it will stay open. But it is cumbersome to have to remember to open the HUD before going to the project. Otherwise not even the name of the project will be displayed. I have added the name of the project to each metadata view, so I can see it in the Inspector HUD as well.
    I rarely use the projects view and rely heavily on the folder structure and the search field to quickly find my projects.

    The best way would be to move it using an external hard drive. Then you have to move the hard drive between the two computers. In fact you could all the Events folders and the Project on that same hard drive too. And everything would be self contained. You would use iMovie to copy the Projects and Events onto the external hard drive (don't drag anything outside of iMovie, moving the files manually is NOT good). Then as a last step run the Consolidate Project command on that copy of the project on the External HD. That would get everything you needed into one spot.
    But be aware, your iTunes and iPhoto libraries are going to still be on your iMac. So you may not have access to EVERYthing you need to put into the final project.

  • Creating "Back" Navigation in a Branching Project Without the Playbar or a TOC?

    I've been struggling with accomplishing a very simple goal: in my Captivate project, I want there to be a "Back" button on every single slide that sends the user back one slide based on their navigation history throughout the slide.  The playbar must be disabled, and I don't want the user to have to deal with a Table of Contents.
    Because this is a somewhat complex branching project, using the "go to previous slide" selection for a button will not work -- this simply sends the user one slide back in the filmstrip, and that might not be where I want them to go.
    Using the "go to last slide viewed" selection for a button also will not work.  This creates an infinite loop in which once the user clicks the "Back" button on one slide, they will go to the previously viewed slide, but when they click it again, they will return to the original slide.  For example, repeatedly clicking this Back button will send the user from slide 2 to slide 1, then slide 1 to slide 2, then slide 2 to slide 1....etc.
    Basically, all I want is an internet browser-style back button within my project.  I figure this is a fairly common thing that project creators want to do, so I checked for any available widgets that might offer the desired functionality, but I've come up with nothing.
    It would seem as if my only hope lies in two potential places: either the execute Javascript selection for buttons, or Advanced Actions.
    Before I dig too deeply there, I was wondering if anyone had a simple solution for this very basic problem.  I've looked around the forums, and this particular thread looks very relevant: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4575291#4575291 .  In that thread, it looks like the original poster just decided to create a separate swf for each of the linear branches of their project.  For my project, this would be a most inelegant and clutttered solution.
    Anyone have any ideas?  If I must use Advanced Actions / variable creation, could you point me in the right direction?  I'm on Captivate 5, by the way.  Thanks.

    Indeed this issue has come up several times over the years, because some authors would like Captivate content to work in much the same way that other web-based content playing in a browser does.  When users see content in a browser, they expect there will be a Back button that takes them to the last-visited slide. If they just keep clicking that Back button, they expect it will retrace their path through the content.
    What happens under the hood in the browser is that it stores all the URLs that the user visited in an array of sequential values, which allows the browser to retrace the user's path.
    Captivate currently has no built-in array facility available to authors for this purpose.  Captivate variables can only store one value.  Advanced Actions are not powerful or flexible enough to build the kind of programmatic loops that would allow you to traverse a series of variables to try and duplicate typical Back button functionality.
    It might be possible to do all of this using some fancy JavaScript coding, but you (or someone that owes you a favour) would need decent coding skills to pull it off.
    I think it would be great to log an enhancement request with Adobe for a couple of Advanced Actions to be added for this need.  Perhaps we could call them Go Back History -1 and Go Forward History +1.  These would just reference an internal array somewhere in the bowels of Cp where the History is kept.  Then all authors would need to do is choose this as a button action or an action in a conditional advanced action of some kind.

    I've been working on and with a VS2013 Update 2 / Azure SDK 2.3 Cloud Service project for a while now and never had a problem debugging it (setting the .ccproj Project as Startup Project) but at the moment I cannot Debug it anymore - I always get the following
    error message:
    Failed to debug the Windows Azure Cloud Service project.  The output directory 'D:\Workspace\Development\Sources\AzureBackend\csx\Backend - Debug' does not exist.
    Now what's odd here, is the last part - the "Backend - Debug" is the Solution configuration name, ALL projects in that particular solution configuration are set to the Debug Configuration. The .ccproj file also only specifies Debug|Any CPU (and
    Release|Any CPU respectively) as its output folder(s). Why is the Solution config appearing up there?
    And more importantly.. why is this happening and what can I do?!

    I already tried de-installing everything Azure-Tooling related including the Azure SDK, Restarting my machine and re-installing the SDK.
    Same result. I can build the .ccproj perfectly fine and the cspack file IS generated perfectly fine, only debugging does not work and there's NO information in the VS output window (again - all projects succeed to build).
    I tried explicitely running VS as Administrator, no change. I removed all IIS Express sites (as the ccproj has one web worker role), remapped my local TFS workspace.. nothing helped.
    As building works, deploying to Azure Cloud Service (manually and via Publish inside VS) all works -perfectly-, I am pretty sure this IS a bug and I'd LOVE to help to get this fixed. As I said, currently I cannot debug and/or run & test my work, hence
    I cannot do ANY work.

    Water in itself will not kill electronic components if you let it dry out.  Your first reaction to turn it off was a good one but you could have waited even longer.
    It also depends what's on your water that will stay after the water itself had dried; like salt. Anything that iseither acid or conductor left on the circuit board will reduce the life of the board.  Given said this, no one could state how long your iPhone will work since no one will know for sure where the water had time to infiltrate before you removed your device and no one what's may left there.
    Consider yourself lucky.  I don't understand however what you mean by a sensor triggered.

  • What is changing in the nightly builds?

    I've seen a lot of new commits go through svn with commit monitor.  But when I download the nightly builds and do a file compare there are few files that are actually changing.  I'm stuck on a couple of bugs that I think I've seen the fix be comitted, but it's not the nightly builds.
    Are the beta changes being included in the nightly builds?  (I thought I read a post somewhere that said the trunk would contain all of the beta changes.)  Even if the changes are being committed to the trunk and not the beta branch they aren't showing up in the nightly builds.
    I am just missing something?

  • How do I continue editing a project from the trial version of final cut pro to the paid version

    I have been working on a project on the trial version of final cut pro x.  I  bought the full version even though my trial wasn't up yet.  When I opened the paid version my projects from the trial are not in there.  I also closed the trial and opening the paid version and my projects were still not there.  How do I get my projects to show in the paid version?

         I have a 'similar' problem, but your advice above does not work (or does not seem to work).  My Trail version of Final Cut Pro 10.1.1 expired before I completed my first/only movie project. 
         I purchased FCP yesterday.  Now I want to "import" the video files and the movie project (not sure if that's the correct terminology - I am still a newbie) into FCP 10.1.1 -  Please advise?

    Reset your iPhone.  Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
    That should fix the issue.  But I have one other recommendation:
    You might consider powering your iPhone off while you are sleeping.  That would, among other things, save the battery.  But it would also make sure this behavior never happens again.

    Hi... it's been a while since I've posted, or even logged in for that matter. But anyways, I've got a question. If anyone knows what a Lucid Dream is, I had my second one in 2 weeks last night. (It's a dream in which you are aware that you are dreaming). Just read dreamviews.com. Anyway, I wanted to try this lucid remix song. It's on my iPod. But my problem is getting the earbuds to stay in my ears during the course of the night. I sleep on my back when using the earbuds, because they are painful when sleeping on your side.

    Well I only listen at about 15% volume during the night. And the lucid dream remix song is not constant noise. It's more slowly building tension, keeping that tension, releasing the tention, and occasionally saying frases such as "You will remember to check your reality and identify that you are in a dream state."
    How do I tape them? Do I tape them to my head or do I tape them together.

  • How do you send more than 1 iMovie project to the same iDVD project???

    I have 3 separate movie projects in iMovie with chapter markers and am trying to send them over to ONE iDVD project. Every time I send a movie over, it creates a new iDVD project and I can't get all 3 movies in the same project.
    I'm trying to put each movies as a submenu under the main menu in iDVD.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    OK, after a long night of trial and error, I've figured it out...
    Issue 1: Files not showing up in the media pane--- miraculously after shutting down all open apps and then restarting the computer, my iMovie projects are now showing up in the movie pane of the media panel in iDVD...
    Issue 2: Getting more than one movie project into iDVD with all the chapter settings--- a little more complicated!
    In iMovie: SHARE > iDVD gives you a new iDVD project with 2 submenus: 1 with the entire movie, and 1 with "scene selections"
    If you try to add a second iMovie project to the same iDVD project; it's not possible from within iMovie (at least not that I can figure out!).
    You can add this second iMovie project to the same iDVD project by adding it to the project within iDVD from the MEDIA > MOVIES pane. This, however, will only add the movie and not give you the second submenu with scene selections.
    To get the 2nd iMovie project into iDVD, I dragged the 2nd movie project from a finder window into the opened iDVD project. This adds the 2 submenus (1 with the movie and 1 with the scene selections) to the iDVD project.
