last night I opened the ipad 2 it worked fine today the seri does noe work the app for taking a photo does not exist nor does photoshop and the app store app is gone as well

The iPad 2 does not have Siri. For the App Store and Camera, check under Settings, then General, then Restrictions, and verify that the App Store and Camera applications did not get turned off.

Rather than do that, which means starting over from scratch, losing all your edits, organisation and so on, why not simply use iPhoto Library Manager to revert the Library to the older version? Easier, less destructive.

If you really want to start over: you can access the Originals folder simply by going to your Pictures Folder and finding the iPhoto Library there. Right (or Control-) Click on the icon and select 'Show Package Contents'. A finder window will open with the Library exposed.

Did you choose the wrong back up? There should be a drop box when you go to "Restore from Back up" in iTunes and your iPhone is plugged in, on the Summary page. Choose the correct back up. If you can't find one, and you still have your device, back up your iPhone 4 again and then choose that back up. Or check for an old iCloud back up if you have one.

While Wayne's answer solves your problem, another possibility is to uncheck the box at the bottom of the Table inspector for "Return key moves to next cell." If that is unchecked, the return key types a paragraph return within the cell (the same as Option Return with the box checked).
With that box unchecked, Shift Return types a soft return (new line without a paragraph break).

Try a reset. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the red slider.

I have iphoto 08 version 7.1.5. I copied photos from recent - last import into albums. I then deleted the photos and emptied the trash. Today all the albums are empty and the photos are nowhere in the library. Have I lost them all?

I hover over the pic so the little down arrow appears in the bottom right-hand corner. I click on it, then click on the Trash Can in the window that drops down:

Thanks, Ian. Yeah, that's how I do it now...or with the controls in the left side pane. Still, I would have liked that quick on-the-spot edit capability...especially while sketching.

you can't use scenes in html5 projects.
that's also no significant limitation because there's never a situation (afaik) where you need to use scenes. they are strictly a convenience for designers.
i don't know any programmers that use scenes.

When composing an email and I end a sentence with any sentence ending character like . ! ? etc. and then start a new sentence on the same line with a space or 2 after the . ! ? etc. ( no carriage return ) the font changes to a smaller font than the one I have set. My set font is Helvetica, Arial . This happens almost all the time, if I backspace to the end of the sentence, and then put in the . ! ? etc. and start the new sentence, sometimes it works ok and the font does not change.
