Launch transaction PA30 in new window

Hi,
can you explain me how can you launch transaction PA30 in new window session.
Thanks a lot.
Cheers

Hi you can follow below steps,
1) create remote enable function module 'ZCALL_PA30' with importing parameter as i_pernr
2) then Inside function module write
data pernr type pa0000-pernr .
pernr = i_pernr.
SET PARAMETER ID 'PER' FIELD pernr .
call TRANsaction 'PA30'  AND SKIP FIRST SCREEN .
                                                                                3) In current program call function module in below maner.
call FUNCTION 'ZCALL_PA30'   STARTING NEW TASK 'T'
Try Out above steps, it works for me.

  • Transaction launcher: open URL in new window

    Dear all,
    I know many threads have already been posted about "stateful URL" created with transaction launcher, that open a new browser window AND navigate to an empty screen with the following text (which is more than useless):
    "The requested page has been opened in a new window, please press back button to go back to the last page."
    Carsteen gave some useful hints already in the following thread:
    Transaction Launcher in a new window
    But maybe someone found something new since then... At the moment I'm thinking about "simulating" a clic on the BACK button (like mentioned in this useless message), with something like :
      DATA:
      history TYPE REF TO if_bsp_wd_history_manager_disp.
      history = view_manager->get_history_manager_display( ).
      history->go_back( ).
    Any better idea ?
    Thanks & regards,
    Nicolas Busson.

    Hi Nicolas !
    How are you? :-)
    I assume that since then you have found a way to fix your issue, but as the post is not answered I can tell you that SAP has taken into account this point in SAP 702 EHP1, with a new attribute in the customizing of the transaction launcher called "Keep Work area" :
    Keep Work Area When Opening Launch Transaction in New Window
    This indicator defines whether the work area content is kept when you open a launch transaction in a new window.
    Use
    If this indicator is not set and a launch transaction opens in a new window, then the main window loads the base page of the transaction launcher into the work area.
    If this indicator is set and a launch transaction opens in a new window, then the main window keeps its current content in the work area.
    Dependencies
    This indicator is only evaluated if you have also set the indicator for using a new window.

  • Transaction launcher for url in new window need "Back" to continue working

    Hello Experts,
    In the CRM I've created a Transaction Launcher for url, when I press on the link and open it in new window
    I got the following message:     "The object you have selected is starting in a new browser window. You can continue working normally in the current application. However, you may have to navigate back to the page you were working on. "
    how do I can still open the url ( which is BSP page)  in new window & can continue working with CRM without clicking on the Back button ?
    Thanks

    Have you solved the problem, Jamil?
    Hi Experts,
    I am also facing the same problem.
    The other possible solution I am thinking of calling the pop up window and then close the pop up.
    I don't know how can we call custom bsp page from view in pop up window. And then close the same pop up without asking user to click on any button.
    Thanks and Regards,

  • Open Portal Transaction iView in new window *without* Browser window

    Hello,
    Currently i am testing to use the single-sign-on functionality of the portal to launch the SAP GUI for Windows.
    I created some Transaction iViews and they work perfectly without having to log in.
    To use the full GUI size of the SAPGUI in the iView, i configured it to open up in a seperate window. This also works perfectly, but when i let a colleague test the setup, i realized that he has some additional toolbars, which in return decreased the usable space in the browser window for the SAP GUI.
    Now my question is:
    How can i configure the Transaction iView to open up the given transaction in the SAP GUI, but without the surrounding Browser?
    Is this even possible?
    I test this because my comany is searching for a solution to use SSO with the SAP GUI. Since we have the portal we test if we could use it to realize this requirement without generating extra costs.

    Hi Armin,
    for iView (page) you probably set the property 'Launch in New Window' to value Display in Separate Window. To tune up the other otions you have the possibility to set the property Window Features, value should contain toolbar=no. These features will be used when Javascript opens up your window - you can apply any option coomonly documented. IMHO for your demands the best option is fullscreen=yes, toolbar=no - you get really the maximum possible size.

  • PDF in browser: launch web page in new window/tab

    Good morning all,
    Our forms use the hyperlink functionality and the desired result is to have the web page launch in a new browser window, or tab, when viewing the PDF in a browser. When the web page opens in the same window, the form data is lost after hitting the back button to return to the form content.
    The current alternative is to use xfa.host.launchURL() function however we're wondering if there is a Preference setting in Reader we could enable/disable instead. Most of the links are text embedded in paragraph so hyperlinks work and look really good.
    Changing the internet options of the browser is not an option for us.
    Also looked at Reader's Edit | Preferences | Documents | Open Cross-document Links in Same Window which appears quite promising based on the Help's description:
    Open Cross-document Links In Same Window
    Closes the current document and opens the document being linked to in the same window, minimizing the number of windows open. If the document being linked to is already open in another window, the current document is not closed when you click a link to the open document. If you do not select this option, a new window opens each time you click a link to a different document.
    But for some reason I can't explain, the web page still opens in the same window after disabling the cross-document option. So maybe I should rephrase my question and ask if someone knows any reason why option doesn't work?
    Thanks much!
    Hélène

    Hi Hélène,
    I don't know of any option to force hyperlink behaviour when the form is opened in a browser.
    Have a look at George's suggestion to use a button without fill or border over the text: http://forums.adobe.com/message/1342426#1342426
    It is a bit of double handling and you need to maintain the button in the correct position. However it does give you greater control in forcing a new browser window/tab.
    The open cross-documents preference didn't work for us either.
    When testing forms here we see a big difference in behaviour between different browsers and OS. So while you may get a hyperlink working in IE, the same solution may not work in other browsers. On balance I think overlaying a button would be the most robust.
    Good luck,
    Niall

  • NEW FEATURE IN OLM - Provide option to launch learning object in new window

    NEW FEATURE IN OLM - Provide option to launch a learning object in a new window from the player
    Background:
    When content is launched from Oracle Learning Management, it is presented within the Oracle Learning Management player frameset. If the content is not on the same server as Oracle Learning Management, this can cause issues with content that is not "frame-friendly". In order to work around this issue in the past, customers either needed to modify their content to be frame-friendly, or create a "splash" page to load in the Oracle Learning Management player, which in turn would open a new window displaying the content. This also caused integration compatibility issues with Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g Web Conferencing.
    Feature:
    This new feature eliminates the need to utilize a splash page or modify content that is not frame-friendly, as it allows you to safely open the content in a separate window from the Oracle Learning Management player, while maintaining all tracking capabilities.
    The new Open in New Window check box is provided on the learning object properties page.
    When the learner launches a learning object where this check box is checked, the player opens as normal and presents a "splash" page with some instructional text. This splash page then opens a new window for the content.
    The splash page also checks for the presence of a pop-up blocker that may block the new window from opening. If this occurs, the learner receives an alert indicating that a pop-up blocker has prevented the content window from opening.
    Action/Notes:
    By default, the Open in New Window check box is NOT selected for any learning object, whether created before or after the patch is applied. Therefore, if you do not plan to use this feature, no action is necessary.
    For those customers who do want to take advantage of this feature, you must edit your learning objects individually and select the Open in New Window check box on the learning object properties page.
    This new feature is independent of the Open in New Window check box in the player preferences section of the offering properties page, which opens the player in a separate window. If both check boxes are selected, the Oracle Learning Management player opens in a separate window, then the content opens in another separate window.
    Availability:
    * Installed or OnDemand Customers -- This patch is available now via Metalink. Patch # 5943165
    Enjoy!
    The Oracle Learning Product Management Team

    Please,
    I need help, I don´t know why the next message display "cannot display the page", just some seconds, after display the course.
    Do you know why??, is some problem configuration or connection??

  • Launch UWL attachments in new window

    Hi,
    Has anyone tried launching uwl attachments in a new window ? We're on EP SP14. I couldn't find any related action type in uwl.weblow.xml file. It looked as if displaySAPObject action is used for handling this but in SAPHelp it says it is used to evaluate and navigate to the BSP blueprint display of the underlying object of the item.
    Kind Regards,

  • Launcher/shortcut for terminal new-window entries?

    Is there any way to either create a keyboard shortcut, or icon shortcut for launching the entries in the terminal menu "shell|new window" ?
    I have several entries in there, and have ssh commands in there to connect to my work machines through a tunnel, such as:
    ssh -l jsmith dmz.foo.com -t /import/local/bin/ssh -l jsmith myhost
    I would like to be able to launch individual ones directly, either through the keyboard or icons.
    Thanks,
    -jamie

    Try iTerm
    <http://iterm.sourceforge.net/>
    You can assign *Command-Control-LetterOrNumber* to each of your iTerm bookmarks.
    For example, I have an ssh based iTerm bookmark that connects to my Linux development system at work. I want 6 new sessions, so I just hold Command-Control and press the letter 'L' 6 times and I get 6 new iTerm tabs each connected to my Linux development system.
    For Terminal, you should be able to configure a hotkey via System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts.

  • Launch ECC Transaction Session Manager - Launch in new window

    Good morning experts - I have created a transaction launcher to launch ECC - Session_Manager from the left navigation bar. This is launching correctly when this button is selected, however is there a way to open this in a new window? Or is the only option for that to change to launch the transaction as a URL?

    Hi,
    You can use the Stateful option during the Transaction Launcher creation to open ECC tran. in new window.

  • Business Context - Transaction New Window

    Dear all,
    In our project we have a requirement to have the transactions called by object type  in the business context of an service request in a new Window, not
    embedded as in standard.
    This is possible for transactions in the transaction launcher, is it possible to do this without development in the business context?
    Many Thanks and Best Regards.

    Hi Joao,
    I'm not sure I understand your question correctly. Are you trying to open a new Web UI window when the link for a certain object is clicked?
    If ye,  I think this can't be done without custom development. I would try to implement this by creating a direct link to the respective object. See the following wiki page for details on direct links to CRM objects:

  • Opening SAP Transactions in a Maximised New Window

    Hi,
    I have an SAP Transaction iview that should open an SAP WinGui Transaction in a maximized new window.
    I have set the following properties
    Launch In =1
    Height Type = FULL_PAGE
    Height of External Window = -1
    Width of External Window = -1
    The new window is opened and the correct transaction is run, but the window is not maximised, and changinging the values of the properties of Width/Height of External Window has no effect.
    The portal version is EP6.0 SP2 Patch 4 Hotfix 7
    Thanks Hugh

    Hi Nalla,
    I suggest you the below points to achieve your requirement
    Create a view V_FPM_APP and insert an iFrame ui element
    Create an attribute FPM_URL as string and bind it to the source of iFrame ui element
    Create a window, W_FPM_APP and embed the view V_FPM_APP
    Now, you can use method CREATE_WINDOW of interface IF_WD_WINDOW_MANAGER to open the FPM application and pass parameter MODEL = ABAP_TRUE
    You can register the onClose action of popup window to your own action on view as below
              data lo_view_ctrl type ref to if_wd_view_controller.
              lo_view_ctrl ?= wd_this->wd_get_api( ).
              lo_window->set_on_close_action(
                   exporting
                        view = lo_view_ctrl
                        action_name = 'ON_CLOSE'
    Create an action ON_CLOSE in view from where the popup window is called
    Now, you get the control when user closes the popup window, so, you can refresh the main view
    Also other way, you can use the concept component usages to achieve your requirement
    Hope this helps you.
    Regards,
    Rama

  • Configure BP Overview component to launch in New Window

    I would like to be able to configure the BP overview window to open in a New Window when the user clicks on a link in the Navigation Bar, using the context of an activity transaction, using the BP for the Activity Partner.  I'm sure I should be able to create a logical link and do this without any coding?
    Could anyone help me with how I could achieve this.  Most important is that it needs to launch in a new window.

    Hi,
    You can use the Stateful option during the Transaction Launcher creation to open ECC tran. in new window.

  • Launch iview in new window: howto rename browser window name?

    Hi all,
    When I open an iview in a new window, I would like to set the visible window name to the name of the iview, instead of just "SAP Enterprise Portal 6.0". Any suggestions?
    I am working with a SAP Transaction iView (windows gui).
    Cheers,
    faB

    You have to write another wrapper custom iView to launch SAP Transaction iView. The wrapper java iView will generate URL for the SAP Transaction iView (PS: How to generate URL for an iView in PCD. ) and Open the URL in a new window using a javascript -
    WindowObjectReference = window.open(strUrl, strWindowName [, strWindowFeatures]);
    PS: Reward points if the answer is useful.

    Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.
    *Firefox 12.0.x: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
    Uninstall your current Firefox version, if possible.
    *Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because all profile folders will be removed and you will also lose your personal data like bookmarks and passwords from profiles of other Firefox versions.
    Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
    *It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
