Lcds 3.1 ant/command line model deploy?

I'm in the process of configuring hudson to automate our managed environment builds for our lcds projects I've got the code compiling currently through the <fb.exportReleaseBuild project="testESN" />  task using the eclipse ant build.  does any know if the fb.exportReleaseBuild task or if there is another task to generate/deploy the model as part of the build?  our CM environment has its own lcds server.  I will be migrating the current build to a standard ant build using mxmlc task.  I noticed in the .fml file the <FbEntityProperties> hard wires the rootUrl to a specific host.
thanks in advance

You can deploy the model by copying it to the WEB-INF/datamodel directory of your web application.
There is currently no Java client to deploy a model to a running server.

  • How  to genearte Unit Test reports  through  ANT/Command  line ?

    Hi,
    I am using sql developer unit test feature to test my database code. I am planning to execute and generate reports by running ant script.
    Is it possible to get the unit test results in any format (text,XML,HTML) after running the tests.
    How to integrate report generation tasks as part of Automated builds?
    Is there any command line utility do through can invoke through ant task?
    Thanks,
    Fernando

    Fernando,
    I, too, am looking to run our PL/SQL unit test suites through our automated ant build scripts. Currently, I've only been able to determine that there is a "UtUtil.bat" and "UtUtil.sh" command line utility for win and linux in /sqldeveloper/sqldeveloper/bin. However, it only take three switches:
    UtUtil -run ?
    UtUtil -imp ?
    and
    UtUtil -exp ?
    While this does provide some limited value to us through automating the importing of our exported test suites and then running them as part of our builds, it doesn't help in running reports on the test runs and exporting the reports to something our build processes can consume (i.e. xml).
    Also, we want to be able to run our full db build on (almost) any of our development machines and we don't want to have to have a unit test repository already preconfigured on each development db. I haven't found a utility to automate the creation of the unit test repository user and the repository, and then whena all the test suite runs have finished and the reports run, delete the repository and repository user.
    We have used Quest's Code Tester product in the past and it had all of these great features that I am really hoping Oracle can either implement or expose to us.
    Regards and best of luck,
    Mike Sanchez

  • Looking for the parameter/command line to supply the license key during the installation of Adobe Captive CS6 application.

    Hello - We are performing customize installation for Captive CS6 with the help of AAMEE tool. We have couple of licenses which we wish to supply over the installation command line during deployment. However we did not find any parameter or the command line which will allow us to enter the license key during installation.  Has any one succeed in finding the command line where we can pass the license key during installation of this application?
    Thanks.

    Can you post the last bit of your log file?  100 or so lines should be plenty to see what's going wrong.

  • Ant deploy from Jdev works fine - same ant deploy from command line fails

    Hi
    I'm using Jdev 10.1.3 and OAS 10.1.3 and created some web services. I can deploy using the Wizard in JDev - works fine, created a build.xml file using the <oracle:deploy> ant task. Also work fine from JDeveloper.
    But when running from command line (windows) I get the following:
    d:\>ant deploy
    Buildfile: build.xml

    compile:
    copy:

    I have studied the web for suggestion also http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/cd/B25221_04/web.1013/b14431/anttasks.htm#sthref164 but nothing seems to work. Tried copying oracle jars to my ant directory (ant version 1.6.5) but still no success (above error message disappered but other came instead).
    Why must this process be so complex. Can anyone help?

    Hi,
    You need to have the following jars in your classpath before firing the ant deploy task.
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\utilities\ant-oracle-classes.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\home\lib\adminclient.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\2ee\home\lib\oc4j-internal.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\home\lib\javax77.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\home\lib\javax88.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\j2ee\home\lib\jmxri.jar;
    ${Oracle_Home}\OracleAS_1\webservices\lib\wsa.jar;
    Please check your classpath and add the above jars, if not present and try ant deploy task now.
    I suppose it should work fine.
    Hope its helpful.

    Prashanth Babu.

  • How can I deploy by command line on AS 10.1.3?

    I have used oracle AS 10.1.3.
    I have created ear file from command line.
    But I don't know how i can deploy by command line?
    However i can deploy from Web manage.
    So, Please tell me How i can deploy by command line when i want?
    Thx

    Hello,
    In OracleAS 10g R3 (10.1.3.x) you can deploy by command line using the admin_client.jar utility, that is exposed also as Apache Ant tasks. In 10.1.3.x you can use the same tool to deploy in a single stand alone OC4J instance to a multi-nodees cluster managed by OPMN.
    Here the documentation about this utility:
    - Deployment Guide
    - Deploying with the admin_client.jar Utility
    -Deploying with the OC4J Ant Tasks

  • Is there a command line method for publishing/deploying reports?

    Is it possible to publish/deploy reports using the command line?
    Also, it is possible to change the datasource for a report via some command line option?
    I am developing the reports locally (Win XP), and then checking them into source control.  They need to be deployed to a BO Server for Dev, Test and Prod.
    I would like to be able to create a script to deploy the reports into the different environments.
    In addition, the datasource needs to be changed before deploying to TEST (since it is on the same server as DEV, just a different port).  Having to manually open each report and change the datasource as the reports are migrated could get to be time consuming as the number of reports increases.
    Thanks for any suggestions.

    Hi Paul,
    No, but you can do all of this using one of our SDK's. Look for samples above or from this WIKI:

  • How to pass command line parameters in calling ant file

    Hi All, I m using a Build file which calls another build file.
    That build file is run from the command prompt by give ant -lib <path of jars it needs for executing>.
    Now i m calling this file from main build file but it does not work as i m not able to set <b>-lib </b>.
    Pls can anybody let me know how to set such command line parameters to call the build file in ant script.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Ketan.B.Parekh

    Create the control file dynamically (and fill one of the columns with the file name as a constant) before you start SQL*Loader
    Another option is to use external tables

  • Ant: how to get command-line argument?

    When using Ant to build Java source files, what is the syntax of obtaining command-line argument in build.xml?

    From the documentation:
    http://ant.apache.org/manual/running.html#libs
    Examples
    ant
    runs Ant using the build.xml file in the current directory, on the default target.
    ant -buildfile test.xml
    runs Ant using the test.xml file in the current directory, on the default target.
    ant -buildfile test.xml dist
    runs Ant using the test.xml file in the current directory, on the target called dist.
    ant -buildfile test.xml -Dbuild=build/classes dist
    runs Ant using the test.xml file in the current directory, on the target called dist, setting the build property to the value build/classes.
    ant -lib /home/ant/extras
    runs Ant picking up additional task and support jars from the /home/ant/extras location
    steps:
    - You define a property (like ${my.prop}) in your build.xml
    - You define it in the command line, like
    ant -Dmy.prop=chosen_value compile
    where "compile" is the target and "-Dmy.prop=chosen_value" defines the value of the property "my.prop" as "chosen_value".

  • How to run Ant from command line in Tarantella env?

    I am getting Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.apache.tools.ant.launch.Launcher error message when I run Ant from tarantella command line. Is this Ant version issue? I can only find Ant with version 1.4.2. Where can I find the correct Ant version (1.6.5) and what class path do I need to specify if I want to run Ant from command line. This works if I run Ant inside of Jdeveloper 11g.
    thanks

    Hi
    What is the correct Java version? What are the steps to rectify the problem?

  • Perform NetBeans build steps from command-line using Ant

    If I build a project using NetBeans, it creates the lib directory and populates it with dependant .jar's. It also puts the class-path in the manifest file.
    If I build using Ant ("ant jar" from build.xml folder), it creates the .jar without the class-path and without the lib folder.
    I want to build a simple project from the command-line, using Ant (or anything else that can process the build.xml file without having to modify it outside of NetBeans), and have it produce the same output as NetBeans.
    The project is a simple Swing app.
    How do I do it?

    Yes, I'm aware of that - there doesn't seem to be much participation in the NetBeans forum. I did actually ask the same question there with no (timely) response, so I thought I'd ask here as there seems to be far more people here who could answer my question.

  • WebSphere ServerRepository.xml / Deployed WAR Works, LH Command Line Fails

    Anyone deploying to WebSphere that has gotten the LH Command Line tool to function with a ServerRepository.xml pointing to a DataSource within WebSphere?
    We created a ServerRepository.xml that utilizes the WebSphere DataSource as the Performance is significantly greater for the idm.war deployed to WAS. The idm.war file works & performs better using this.
    LH Command line fails with a ServerRepository.xml pointing to a WebSphere DataSource. I've been troubleshooting with SUN support & so far we have not made any progress to resolve this. LH fails trying to execute anything...see below for example & partial cut/pasted error message.

    To get the WAR deployed within WebSphere to function, I found the IDM Doc (IDM 7.0 Installation - "Configuring a WebSphere DataSource for Identity Manager" - Pgs 117 - 134) to be pretty decent for creating the actual JDBC DataSource.
    My recommendation is to setup the DataSource at the Scope=Cell Level & use a WAS J2C Auth Entry for the DataSource so you do not need to use the -U or -P options in your setRepo command...this also helps ensure its truly connecting using WAS.
    Looking at what you had, try this modified...
    $WSHOME/bin/lh -Djava.ext.dirs=$JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext:$WAS_HOME/lib setRepo -n -tSQLServer -icom.ibm.websphere.naming.WsnInitialContextFactory -fjdbc/idm -uiiop://localhost:9810 -o"D:\apps\temp.xml"
    *Additional comments
    -n will bypass any checking and ignore any error message.
    -f must be identical to the WAS JDBC DataSource Name jdbc/idm
    **You do not need to redeploy after replacing the ServerRepository.xml; however, you do need to bounce the WAS AppServer & should monitor the AppServer SystemOut.log on startup to ensure the IDM WAR starts up successfully
    ***This is all assuming the DataSource you have within WAS is working (you can validate via the TestConnection)

  • Flex4 ant task command line

    Se compilo con il flex builder, ho notato che viene creato il file text_layout_*.swf .
    è possibile compilare l'swf con il corrispettivo text_layout.swf anche dall'' ant task command line?
    Grazie

    The only way I know of is using properties
    <project name="foo">
    <property name="foo" value="bar"/>
    <echo>${foo}</echo>
    </project>
    ant
    [echo] bar
    ant -Dfoo=baz

  • Discoverer command line +Deploying eex und Dis Files?

    Hi,
    i have one eex file and one dis file. Now i want to deploy the two files from an development server to an integration server.
    Is there any command line interface to deploy the two files?
    thanks a lot
    Wolle

    Hi,
    I've been exporting and uploading Disco objects including workbooks via disco admin command line / .eex files (not .dis) at least since 4i (if not 3i, but can't remember that far back now!), windows cmd file e.g. for Disco 10g
    Download:
    set PATCH=XXXX_YYYY
    set DISCO=C:\oracle\BIToolsHome_1\BIN\dis51adm.exe
    set USER=EULOWNER
    set RESP=XXXX Resp
    set DB=DEV
    set PASS=password
    %DISCO% /CONNECT "%USER%:%RESP%/%PASS%@%DB%" /APPS_USER /EUL EUL_US /IDENTIFIER /EXPORT XXXX_YYYY.eex XXXX_YYYY_BA /WORKBOOK XXXX_YYYY_WB /WORKBOOK XXXX_YYYY_2_WB /FUNCTION XXXX_YYYY_FN /LOG %PATCH%_DL.log /SHOW_PROGRESS
    Upload (I don't hardcode db/password, use a bit more trickery, but you get the idea):
    set EEXFILE=XXXX_YYYY
    set PATCH=XXXX_YYYY
    set DISCO=C:\oracle\BIToolsHome_1\BIN\dis51adm.exe
    set USER=EULOWNER
    set RESP=XXXX Resp
    set EEXNAME=XXXX My BA
    set db=TEST
    set pw=password
    REM Sometimes better to delete BA first, but you need to be sure noone is changing the BA in target env
    REM %DISCO% /CONNECT "%USER%:%RESP%/%pw%@%db%" /APPS_USER /EUL EUL_US /DELETE_BUS_AREA "%EEXNAME%" /LOG %PATCH%_UL.log /SHOW_PROGRESS
    %DISCO% /CONNECT "%USER%:%RESP%/%pw%@%db%" /APPS_USER /EUL EUL_US /IMPORT %EEXFILE%.eex /REFRESH /LOG %PATCH%_UL.log /SHOW_PROGRESS /IDENTIFIER

  • Deploy EAR file through command line

    Hello Gurus,
    We have external consultants helping us with Java development of a certain application on our CRM system. Usually I would deploy this file through SDM (RemoteGUI). Is there a way to do this on a command line?
    Thanks much.
    Arvind.

    Hello Community,
    the sdm utility allow this, but it can be executed only if SDM server is stopped and it is in standalone mode... a bit too complicated, but it works
    StopServer.sh
    sdm.sh jstartup mode="standalone"
    sdm.sh deploy file=<full path to file to be deployed>
    sdm.sh jstartup mode="integrated"
    StartServer.sh
    You can find the sdm utility in <sdm_home>/program and the documentation in <sdm_home>/program/doc
