Lead & Sales Scenerio

Dear All,
I have been given a functional scenerio in which a sales person of an organisation is able to enter the Lead which he gets in SAP in terms of value. Then he can be able to process if any of the lead has been converted into sales. So, I should be able to dispaly the name of the sales persons, leads (company wise, product wise, period wise etc.), quotations processed, total order amount etc.
please tell me the T-Code to start with.
Is there a need to first create some organisational structure for the organisation?

    You should be able to use the document flow function mod : 'CRM_DOC_FLOW_READ_OB' to get any leading documents
    CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_DOC_FLOW_READ_OB'
         EXPORTING
           IV_HEADER_GUID  = wa_activity_guid
         IMPORTING
           ET_DOC_FLOW_WRK = lt_doc_flow.

  • Inter Company Sales scenario

    Dear Friends,
    What is the way of executing the Intercompany Sales Scenerio in SAP ?
    We have a scenario, wherein we have multiple plants across countries, Let us say that one of the plant in US is not having the stock , when the sales order is booked from US sales Office to any customer, it should create the requirement. This should trigger the PO for the plant in different country , which then should replenish the stock in the US plant against the sales Order, and then the delivery and billing can be carried out from US plant as per sales order.
    How can we achive this in SAP.

    Hi Harsh,
    Configure Intercompany Stock Transport Order
    Material should exist in both the plants (Delivering & Ordering),
    Internal customer should be assigned to the ordering plant ( MM -> Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Setup stock transport order -> assign the internal customer to the ordering plant and assign the Sales area of the internal customer.
    Assign its Sales area to the delivering plant
    Assign the document type and Delivery type NB and NLCC
    Assign the Supplying plant --> Receiving Plant --> NB
    Take the delivering plant and assign the sales area.
    Vendor master has to be created and assign the supply source (Delivering Plant).
    Create a purchase order ME21N ---> Save
    Delivery VL10 G ---> Calculation rule (appropriate) --> Assign the purchase order number here and execute.
    Select the Delivery creation line and do the back ground process.
    Start the log display and see the delivery document number by the documents button
    Goto VL02N --> do picking and PGI --> Then do the MIGO with respect to the delivery document.
    Billing (Intercompany pricing conditions should be set).
    AND
    1. Customer No. for the Goods Receiving Plant - OMGN
    2. Availability Check- Checking Rule (if necessary) - OMGN
    3. Assign a Delivery Type for the Delivering Plant - OMGN (for Stock Transport Orders, NLCC)
    4. PO type (which i believe you have done) - OMGN
    5. Assign Vendor No. to the Supplying Plant (done) - VK02
    6. Assign Customer No. to the Purchasing Plant for the Inter-Company Invoice (but you need to assign this to the Sales Organization pre-assigned to the Purchasing Plant),
    IMG-SD-Billing-InterCompany Billing-Define Internal Customer No. by Sales Org
    ***and by the way for the Invoice to work between Cross-Company Plants, you need also to have a Sales Org for the Supplying Plant and a Pricing Determination Procedure
    INTERCOMPANY PRICING:
    PI01 Intercompany: fixed amount per material unit
    PI02 Intercompany: percentage of the net invoice amount
    These condition types specify that the price charged by the delivering plant to the sales organization is shown as a statistical value in the sales order and an effective charge in the internal invoice.
    The condition records you create and maintain for intercompany billing are the same kind of records that you create for pricing in general.

    The following steps have to be followed in order to configure stock transport order between two plants.
    1. Create a vendor for the Company code of the receiving plant using account group 0007 via T-Code XK01.
    2. In the purchasing data view assign the supplying plant and the schema group
    3. Create customer with the sales area of the vendor.
    4. The shipping conditions, the delivering plant and the transportation zone determine the route in the STO.
    5. In the pricing procedure determination relevant to the STO assign document pricing procedure and customer pricing procedure to get the pricing in the invoice.
    6. Maintain condition records for pricing condition.
    7. Maintain carrier as a partner in the customer master.
    8. In OMGN select the supplying plant and assign the company code and sales area. Similarly select the receiving plant and assign the company code and sales area (The company code to which the plant is assigned to).
    9. Assign the delivery type and checking rule to the document type.
    10. And finally, assign the purchasing document type to the supplying plant and the receiving plant.
    11. Create the STO using T-Code ME 21N and save.
    12. Check for release strategy if any and release using T-Code ME 28.
    13. Create delivery in background using VL10G.
    14. If delivery is created, it is an indication of correct configuration and master data creation.
    Stock transfer between two plants in deffernet company codes is known as inter company stock transfer.
    Material shoud be maintained in both supplying and receiving plant MM01
    Sotck should maintain only in supplying plant MB1C
    Create receving plant as a customer in suplying plants company code and sales area XD01
    Assign this customer number in receving plant detials OMGN
    Assign supplying sales area in supplying plant details OMGN
    Assign delivery tupe NB for in combination of supplying/ receving plants.
    Create STO ME21N
    As it is normal there in the item details wer should get shipping date i.e customer number
    Go for Deliveryy VL10B
    Shipping point *****
    Select PO go for execute
    then select the delivery then go for delvy ............create delvy,,,, delvy nubmer generated.

    Click on picking
    enter the picking qty
    Click on PGI
    in the mean time check in the PO history you will get the details

  • How to reuse standard Activity subcomponents - Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within a custom work center?

    Requirement : We have a requirement to reuse the standard Activity subcomponents Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within a custom work centre. The requirement is to leverage and copy all sub functionalities Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails available within the standard activity work center. This feature is available within Accounts, Opportunities, Leads etc. (Refer screenshot: Std_Act_Screen.jpg)
    We are unable to consume/embed the standard Activity (Work center) sub components Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within the custom work center. This is because of backend consistency check violation UI designer error message displayed. (Refer screenshot:Error while consuming standard activities.jpg)
    Ø  Open Question:
    a.      Is there a limitation to consume/embed the standard Activity (Work center) subcomponents Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within a custom work center?  We have noticed that this standard Activity Work center subcomponents Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails has been repeatedly reused within the application in Account, Opportunity, Sales lead, Lead, Sales Quote Objects.
    b.      Is there an alternative way in which we can call [Through API etc..] the standard Activity Work center subcomponents Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails?
    We need your guidance to overcome the error to enable the reuse of the standard Activity Work center sub-components Appointments, Tasks, Phone Calls and Emails within our custom work center or suggest a suitable workaround on how this can be achieved.

    Activities are not appearing after creation of campaign with target group.
    Where to see activities, which are created for the campaign with target group?

    Hello,
    alternatively to check  table CRMD_ORDERADM_H directly you can use the related transactions search for the campaign:
    This should bring all activities generated by the campaign. If this is empty first check the job log of the campaign execution job again:
    This gives information if any target group members have business transactions created. If the log does not contain the required information you can debug from SM37. The business transactions (activities, leads, sales orders) are generated from function module CRM_MKTTGGRP_PROC_CREATE.

    Hi All,
    I have a typical requirement, my user wants a report which should display sales person, product, revenue and commission (given to his staff members).
    say there are two lead sales person & three products. Each lead person got two staff(sales person assigned to the lead) under them.
    They wanna report on the revenue generated by the lead person by product and also commissions paid to their staff. The total for group should display revenue (generated by two leads) - commissions (earned by 4 staffs).
    Sample Layout
    sales person in the column
    product in the row
    | *******************| SalesPers |    leadSP1  |   leadSP2  |   SP3  |   SP4  |  SP5 |  SP6        | Overall Reesult
    Revenue = 300 + 1100 = 1400
    Commission = 70 + 70  = 140
    Total = 1400 - 140 = 1260.
    Given above is the sample, the layout can be different. Pls guide me how to do the above report.

    Yes, sales person and lead sales person are in same object (ZPERS_ID).
    We have a object called sales group(ZSAL_GRP), the sales person and lead sales person belong to one group.
    The report is run by  sales group.

    Hello,
    depending on the communication medium selected system builds the screen configuration for the communication channel screen. If you select any communication medium that creates any business activity / lead / sales order the related template fields get enabled so you can use a activity template / lead template / sales order template for the business transaction creation.
    In case of the open channel communication medium system is not sure which fields are required in the open channel context all those fields are shown independently from the configuration.
    The same is hardcoded and determined in the following calls:
    119  METHOD CREATE_VISIBLE_ATTR_LIST CL_MKTPRJ_COMMCHNL_UTIL
    118  METHOD CREATE_NEW_CONFIGURATION CL_MKTPRJ_COMMCHNL_UTIL
    However you can use BAdI CRM_MKTPL_UIU_MODIFY_COMM_CHNL to modify the determined configuration according to your requirements. Using the BAdI you can add / delete fields from the configuration that are not required in the open channel conext.

    The BAdI should be available in your system however I hope this helps to understand the behaviour.

  • Captivate 3 bug fix Update?

    I have recently updated to Captivate 3 and I'm encountering
    several issues.
    Captivate crashes immediately upon opening. This happens
    about half the time I try to open in.
    Capture settings don't stick. I captured half of a lesson.
    Ended it to go back and set up the software I needed to capture
    properly. Then used "Record additional slides" to capture the rest
    of the lesson and it changed from my custom settings back to
    demonstration capture. So I had to manually go in and add click
    boxes, failure responses, etc.
    Can't stop the mouse from being captured. I deselected the
    preference setting and verified it in the recording settings for
    "Show mouse location and movement". But when I finish recording
    each screen has the mouse displayed.
    I'm getting rather frustrated with the bugginess in this
    release and figure others must be too. Has Adobe addressed these
    issues? Or do the plan on doing so soon?

    I recently submitted a list of bugs and enhancements. I also
    asked the development team to see this board AND consult with the
    Administrators of this Board for a list of top 20 items to fix. I
    actually got a response that they would.
    The one bug that I submitted was that "Tech Support is
    defective." There are no patches and ongoing bugs. I noted that I
    refuse to upgrade from Captivate 2 based on this lack of support. I
    noted that Adobe could sell more software with a real patch program
    and thus fewer complaints noted on this board. I pointed out that
    this board is PUBLIC and that peope can see the problems and a lack
    of patches. Thank you all for complaining LOUDLY, but perhaps
    LOUDER is needed.
    If you read this, and you have time, PLEASE send in a bug
    report that lists "a lack of patches" as the bug. Everyone in the
    software industry does patches, but Adobe seems to do them only for
    the leading sales products such as Acrobat, Photoshop, Etc. We have
    an orphaned product here.
    On the other hand, the folks that routinely handle the
    questions on this board are to be honored and commended for putting
    up with bugs that are 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 years old.
    Adobe can do better, they can patch this quarterly, just like
    the rest of the venodrs do. Oh, but this is Adobe, what was I
    thinking, it must have been a dream?

    I executed campaign with communication medium phone and generated call list.in campaign i massaigned product.But in generated call list i am not able to see the products which is maintained in campaign.
    i think i missed some setting.can any one suggest how to bring products to call list through campaign execution

    There are 2 points:
    1. I have created a campaign for opportunity with products. Result - Opportunity created without products.
    2. I understand that we cannot create campaign or campaign element to trigger Opportunity directly, but only allowed to cretae Lead, Sales order. Some of our experts confirmed the same In this forum.
    In this case, as per point 1, I dont know how it allowed to create an oppt thru campaign.
    Any thoughts.

    I have been working for a project that uses OBIEE for reporting purpose mainly.
    I have designed a repository. I have following issue in security aspects.
    1> Can we restrict users to acess specific BMM Layer. Suppose i have created two BMM , one as BackOfficeBMM and SalesBMM. Any one who logs in the repository is able to access the any of the BMM. Can we set up a mechanism that the type of user is Sales so, only SalesBMM is visible to him? Or if both are visible then access restriction.
    2> Can we implement data access based on hierarchy that is row level security. Suppose i have a hierarchy in which i have Manager--> Asst. Managers-->Sales Persons Team lead--> Sales Person. That is if i logs in as manager then i am able to see reports based on total data. But if i logs on as Sales Persons Team lead then i am able to view same reports with filtered data based on his access.
    3>We can implement external table authentication by using OBIEE. But after implementing this i am not able to access my repository. Even with the administrator login. Is it necessary to define the groups and users in the repository? Can't we bring the users and groups from the external table?
    4>We can implement external table authentication. But it works on the table that has plain password. What if the table that i am using to access the authentication value has encrypted password?
    Pls help me to clear these concepts.
    I have gone through the Server Administrator guide and it provide some basic idea but if any one can provide some working example so that i can have an idea to move forward in this.

    As i said u cant create u r own Leading Transaction category but u can use same to create Transaction types like Activity,Leads, Sales order, Opportunity etc
    Follow the Path for creating Transaction Type:
    SPRO->Customer Relationship Management->Transactions->Basic Settings->Define Transaction
    Types
    Use Below Leading Transaction category :
    BUS2000108 is for Lead
    BUS2000111 is for Opportunity.
    BUS2000115 is for Sales Order
    BUS2000116 is for Service Process
    BUS2000126 is for Business Activity

    everything and can't get the proper sysntax. I would love to

  • Sales order is not taking shipping transit lead time into consideration

    Hi,
    We have following scenario -
    1. Sales order is created in AT organization.
    2. There is no onhand in any of the organizations including AT.
    3. The scheduled ship date for sales order comes as order creation date + item lead time = 15-Sep-2011.
    3. PO for sufficient quantity is available at UK org with need-by date as 01-Jun-2011.
    5. Post processing item lead time for this item is 1 day.
    4. intransit shipment is setup between UK and AT.
    5. Shipment Transit lead times are also set up at 3 days between locations of UK and AT.
    6. ASCP plan is run.
    7. Sales Order is unscheduled and rescheduled via API MSC_ATP_PUB, which takes the ATP details from UK (based on the sourcing rules). The sheduled ship date comes as 02-Jun-2011 (PO need-by date + 1 day of post processing).
    8. Expectation is that API should also take transit lead time into consideration while calculating the ATP dates and hence the Expectation is that scheduled ship date should come as 05-Jun-2011 (PO need-by date + Transit lead time + 1 day of post processing).

    a. if this is standard functionality of oracle or not.
    b. if this is standard functionality then what setups are missing required for the same to be achieved.

    Oracle is supposed to take the in-transit time into consideration.
    Are you running a constrained plan or an unconstrained one?
    Make sure you defined the inter-org network as described in http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/A60725_05/html/comnls/us/inv/shipne01.htm.
    or go to Inventory > Setup > Organization > Inter-Location Transit Times and enter it there.

  • CRM 7.0 Leading zeros on material in sales documents delta replication

    During initial load of sales documents from ECC to CRM the item is replicated with leading zeros.
    The consequences is that CRM do not find the product and the crm order gets an error message that the product is not maintianed in product master.
    So my question is; how to replicate the order without leading zeros for items?

    You need to check txn:OMSL in ERP and you need to make sure that settings are in sync with CRM customizing path settings.
    SPRO>IMG>Cross-Applicaiton Component>SAP Product>Basic Settings-->Define O/P Format..
    Especially you need to check for the lexicographical flag.
    If this flag is set, then 0123 is different from 123.
