Learning Map html error

Hi, im having this problem with Learning maps, and cant figure out what is the problem, I keep having the same error message:
"Logon Error Message"
"http://sci.itsgroup.com.br:8000/sap/bc/solman/defaultUser/LearningMap/start.htm wurde abgebrochen, da der entsprechende Service nicht verfügbar ist."
"    *  Der Abbruch trat auf dem System SCI und mit dem Fehlercode 404 und dem Grund No Extension Found auf.
Der ausgewählte virtuelle Host war 0 . "
But I belive ive already done everything for correct functioning of learning maps.
All the following services are active:
/sap/bc/bsp/sap/learning_map
/default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap
/default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/system
/default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/public/bc
/def ault_host/sap/public/bc
/default_host/sap/public/bc/ur
/default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/public
/default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/public/bc
/defaul t_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/system
/default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/htmlb
Ive also creates the External Alias:
/default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/learning_map
/default_host/sap/bc/solman
The services also have the correct HTML user set in logon data. Im using the user "SOLARSERVICE" with the role SAP_SOL_LEARNING_MAP_DIS.
And also my FQDN is correct, becose all my other html aplication as: workcenters, issue mgmt, test sequence are working fine.
There is anything ive done wrong or missed?

Hi Magus,
This may be worth a try - at work here we have a proxy server defined in our browser settings so can you check your settings and disable any proxy server for IE or Firefox etc?
This should bypass your error and connect to your SolMan as it seems you have correctly completed all other tasks.
Thanks,

  • Solution Manager Learning Map http error 403

    Hi,
    I created a new learning map in solution manager using solar_learning_map, when I attempted to display the learning map in the web browser i received the following error.
    <i><URL> call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.
    The termination occurred in system ISD with error code 403 and for the reason Forbidden.
    The selected virtual host was 0 .</i>
    If anyone else has experienced this error before can you please give me some guidance on resolving this issue.

    The Note exists in service marketplace. (Topic is Inactive services in the Internet Comm Framework).Here is the solution as per the Note.
    Solution
    Listed below are some services that must be activated in the system
    depending on the operational scenario:
    Support for the Internet protocol (HTTP, HTTPS and SMTP) in the SAP Web Application Server
    /default_host/sap/public/icman
    Note: After you have installed SAP Web Application Server, you must ensure that this service is activated in transaction SICF. Through this the ICMan process can (for example) make decisions concerning the distribution of HTTP requests to the corresponding server.
    Using load distribution
    with the message server
    /default_host/sap/public/icf_info
    /default_host/sap/public/icf_info/logon_groups
    /default_host/sap/public/icf_info/urlprefix

    /default_host/sap/public/bsp/sap/htmlb (as of Release 620 Support Package SAPKB62026)
    Note: In addition to these general BSP services, you still have to activate the corresponding application services in the ICF tree. The service for the application is generally found under the ICF node /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/<application>.

    The "RAISE_EXCEPTION" ABAP runtime error no longer occurs for an inactive host.
    The error text "Forbidden" was replaced with "Service is not active" for an inactive service.

  • Learning Map (HTML) Feedback Authorization

    Hi,
    We are using SAP EHP 1 for SAP Solution Manager 7.0.
    I have created learning map using transaction SOLAR_LEARNING_MAP and I am able to view the content in webpage.
    But when I click on feedback button in the web browser system gives a pop up message u201CYou are not authorized to make changes".
    Help me with details of what authorization / config are required to give the feedback.
    Regards,
    Praveen

    The issue is solved by following the below.
    check the user mainatined in the exteranl alias /sap/bc/solman/defaultuser in SICF.
    Actually this user is used to open the learningmap and this user needs to have the role SAP_SOL_LEARNING_MAP_DIS assigned.
    Addtionally in the role for the authorization object D_MD_DATA
    the value '10' ('Change Model Instance') for DMD_ACTION has to be
    available, as this is needed to send feedback in the browser.
    Addtionally please implement the note:
    1527024 Message 'Object is locked by ..' in Learning map
    into your system.
    After you have implemented the note please follow these steps:
    -> Open the learning map in edit mode with transaction
    SOLAR_LEARNING_MAP
    -> click 'SAVE' button
    -> go back to intial screen of SOLAR_LEARNING_MAP
    => open the learningmap in the browser and test again to send feedback

    Hi
    For Tomcat 3.x you need to use one of the following options:
    (Note: this is with JBoss/Tomcat OR JBoss/Jetty)
    Place you .war files in the following location:
    C:\jboss-3.0.3\server\default\deploy and the app is automatically available.
    If my app's name is DavidOnline.war, when deployed, I can access it at
    http://localhost:8080/DavidOnline..
    OR
    Copy your entire development directory to the deploy direction above, RENAME your
    directory from say C:\JspApps to C:\JspApps.war and you can work from that location and see your changes immeadiatly.
    There is a file called jboss-service.xml that has some config options, also for the Tomcat bundle there is a file named tomcat-service.xml that has the standard server.xml section.. I suggest you check out the JBoss website, free docs and forums.. http://www.jboss.org.
    Thanks, Hope this helps.

  • Learning Map in SolMan

    Hi ALL,
    We created a learning map in SolMan and I am not able to send it to users. When I click on button "Send to Users" in T-SOLAR_LEARNING_MAP, I get a message 'The page cannot be displayed'.
    I checked for SAP Note 960811 - "Error when sending learning map to a long list of users". But, I wanted to send the learning map to only 2 users.
    Can any one suggest what the problem could be?
    Appreciate your response.
    Thanks,

    Be sure you have the latest support pack installed for sol man. It helped for us.

  • Struts 1.1 html:error

    My resource file name is: application_en_US.properties
    This file is placed under /WEB-INF/classes/resources/application_en_US.properties
    In JSP file, I have a form, where I want to check, wether the userName field is null or not. If it is NULL, i want to display a message. But I m getting the following message, when the field is empty.
    ???en_US.error.login.username.null???
    JSP form looks like this:
    <form action="login">
      <td>Username</td>
      <td><html:text property="userName" size="16" maxlength="16"/></td>
      <td><html:errors property="userName"/></td>
    </form>
    In struts-config, login.do action looks like this:
    <form-beans>
    <form-bean name="actionBean" type="xxx.xxx.ActionForm" />  </form-beans>
    <action path="/login"
               type="xxx.xxx.LoginAction"
               name="actionBean"
               validate="true"
               input="/index.jsp">
    <forward name="success" path="/welcome.jsp"/>
    </action>
    <message-resources parameter="resources.application_en_US"  null="false"/>.....
    In xxx.xxx.ActionForm.java the code looks like:
    public class ActionForm extends ValidatorForm{
    setters and getters are defined here
       public ActionErrors validate(ActionMapping mapping,
                                     HttpServletRequest request) {
            ActionErrors errors = new ActionErrors();
            if (userName == null || userName.trim().equals("")) {
                errors.add("userName", new ActionError  ("error.login.username.null"));
            return errors;
    In application_en_US.properties file:
    error.login.username.null=User name required
    I hope this details are enough. Please give me a solution. it's urgent.
    Thank you.

    You extended the wrong form class. You could not extend the ValidatorForm if you have tried to implement the validator method yourself. If you want to extend the ValidatorForm then you need to remove the Validator() method from the form bean class since the ValidatorForm is designed for validation based on validation.xml and validation-rules.xml. So you need to specify the url validation.xml and validation-rules in the struts-config.xml and the correponding plugin as well. Also you need to specify the validation rules in validation.xml and define the corresponding message in the resource file.
    If you do want to implement the validator method yourself, instead of extending the ValidtorForm, you need to extend the ActionForm class, everything will be fine.
    By the way you can not name your form bean class by ActionForm, you can only extends ActionForm.

  • Help with displaying errors in jsp using html:errors/

    Here is my problem.
    In my overridden ActionForm.validate() method, i am returning ActionErrors (as required). When there are input errors in my form submission, the control goes back to the JSP page i used to read user input (so far so good). The JSP page is rendered fine for taking input for the second time but no errors are displayed although i am using the tag <html:errors/>
    I tried to find the org.apache.struts.action.ERROR in my request attributes and it is there with the size of 1 (because i am reporting one error, in my sample run). Any idea why <html:errors/> won't display the errors even though they are there??? Here is what i am doing in my ActionForm class:
    public ActionErrors validate(ActionMapping mapping, HttpServletRequest request) {
    ActionErrors errors = new ActionErrors();
    if (this.email == null || this.email.length() < 1) {
    errors.add("username", new ActionError
    ("error.username.required"));
    return errors;
    Any help is appreciated.

    First of all, thanks for taking time to look at my message. Here is how my message-resources tag look like in struts-config.xml file:
    <message-resources parameter="ApplicationResources"/>
    The "ApplicationResources.properties" file exist in the WEB-INF folder of my application and following are the entries in that file that i think are relevant:
    errors.header=<h3><font color="red">Validation Error</font></h3>You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:<ul>
    errors.footer=</ul><hr>
    error.username.required=<li>Username is required</li>
    Is there anything else needed to go into resource file? Or should i put my resource file somewhere else?

  • Map oracle error

    Is there a way to map Oracle error to display a friendly error message to users?
    For example, instead of displaying:
    ORA-00001: unique constraint (GDB.INT_UK) violated
    Have it map to some thing like:
    Customer Id must be unique. The customer you try to add is already in the database.

    The HTML DB Edit Process page has 3 boxes
    1. Source - Put your source code here
    2. Success message
    3. Error message
    Any unhandled exception in your PL/SQL code will cause HTML DB to go to an error page and show that error message (sqlerrm)
    If you dont want that, handle all exceptions in your code either using named exceptions or predefined exceptions, map it to whatever user-friendly error message you want and put that in the Error message box.
    So, for example, if my process source is
    declare
    file_not_found exception;
    pragma exception_init(file_not_found,-20000);
    invalid_format exception;
    pragma exception_init(invalid_format,-20001);
    begin
      :P7_ERROR_MESSAGE := 'Successfully executed';
      mypkg.myproc(...);
    exception
    when file_not_found or invalid_format then
        :P7_ERROR_MESSAGE := sqlerrm;
    end;And then, in process error mesage, I have #SQLERRM# (not really expected since I am handling all known errors in the code itself), the success message has &P7_ERROR_MESSAGE.
    This way, I get a error page only when a totally unexpected error is raised.
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • Endash and curly quote HTML errors

    I inherited a large knowledge base at my job that was using
    RoboHelp x5. It hadn't been worked on for more than a year when I
    started, so the first thing I did was upgrade to RoboHelp 7. (I am
    a total Robohelp beginner; been learning on my own since starting
    her in Jan. 08) The first time I generated an output and published
    the knowledge base in 7, we began to discover the project is
    riddled with <&endash;> and <&rdquor;> HTML
    errors. RH x5 version read the endash and curly quotes fine and
    displayed the characters.
    What can I do now? Is there a global find and replace? What's
    also weird is that the endash looks OK in the RoboHelp viewer. The
    curly quote does show up wrong in the RH viewer as
    <”r;>.
    Any help or insight would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Thanks for your response, Peter. Don't see the patch you
    mention -- could you point me to it? I may not be able to use it
    tho, b/c have made lots of edits and updates to our knowledge base
    so I can't go back to the old R5 copy at this point.
    If not, I will try the Helpware FAR. In looking at their
    site, am not sure how it works: do I apply it to the output file or
    the RH project files.
    Thanks!

    I keep getting this error in Dreamweaver when I am trying to upload my website?  Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?  here is the error message: /html - error occurred - Unable to create remote folder /html.  Access denied.  The file may not exist, or there could be a permission problem.   Make sure you have proper authorization on the server and the server is properly configured.  File activity incomplete. 1 file(s) or folder(s) were not completed.  Files with errors: 1 /html

    Nobody can tell you anything without knowing exact site and server specs, but I would suspect that naming the folder "html" wasn't the brightest of ideas, since that's usually a default (invisible) folder name existing somewhere on the server and the user not having privileges to overwrite it.

  • Where can I get an Html error report of all the syntax and tag problems?

    Where can I get an Html error report of all the syntax and tag problems?

    Thank you for your answer.
    Where is the DW validation for me?
    My files are in my computer so I don’t have an external URL.
    File > validation > as xml = closes DW... Maybe because it is not a correct command for HTML,
    And
    Window > results > validation = gives a partial mistakes (e.g. shows an open tag without closing tag, but doesn’t show a closing tag without an open tag).
    Thank you.
