Learning solution Course catalog not available on portal

Hello Experts,
I have created Course Catalog on R/3, when I try to access it on portal it doesn't show me any course groups except unassigned course types. But while testing HCM_LEARNING (BSP Application) it does show me all the course groups and even allow me to book course for training.
Can somebody tell me what configuration I may be missing, Your help in this regard will be highly appreciated with forum points. Thanks alot.

Hi FG,
Please goto t-code PP01 - (or lso_psv1) and check "Subject area" flag in infotype "Course group info" - 1063 to be selected for the relevant course groups (object type L).
If the issue persists please check the newly published SAP Note 1441984.

SAP Learning Solutions - Course Catalog Plan Versions

I am new to this community and not quite sure how it works.
We are going to implement SAP Learning Solutions in the near future and within our company we have a division that wishes to store and track learning. The main division will be using the active course catalog and doesn't want the other division's data mixed. Also there is an issue with security that we need to deal with.
My question is - Can I use a different version to store the smaller divisions information? In dev I can see courses attached to the other version and I am able to add participants, but none of the reporting displays a participant list.
Is this the best way to solve the situation or is there another way?
I would appreciate any help with this.

did u tried to use curriculum or trainingsprogramm? Maybe u can solve ur Problem this way.

SAP Learning Solution - Course Adminstration - Cancel Course

Hello,
I'm working with Learning Portal, Course administration. There, you can create course sessions but I see no possibility to cancel an existing course session. Is this a gap versus LSO back-end transactions?

Regrading your query, Cancellation of course is not possible.
You may refer the SAP Note 1469228 which lists the other limitations for course admin portal as well.

Nikon Learn and Explore app not available in UK itunes store

Has anyone managed to get hold of Nikon's Learn and Explore App which gets good reviews in US, is free and visible via CNET but my UK itunes won't let me download it saying its not available in the UK.

If it's not available in the UK, you can't download it. App Store purchases are limited by country, for legal reasons or at the developer's request (you can look elsewhere, but you cannot buy without an account in that country).

ISA: catalog not available -- FM for determining available catalogs

Hello guys,
we're currently implementing CRM e-commerce (ISA). When logging on to the web shop, an error message "The catalog that you have selected is currently unavailable; try again later " occurs.
I searched the existing forum entries and found some similar issues, however, non of the given solution solved my problem. Furthermore I've found note 980678 dealing with this, however - again, the problem still persists.
I assume that this is not a technical issue but has something to do with the catalog determination depending on the currently logged in business partner. Thus, I searched for function modules dealing with this, found CRM_ISACAT and CRMISAICAT, still no solution.
I'd appreciate any hints on how to continue analysing this problem.

Option to Upgrade Photoshop Elements Catalog not available (LR5, PSE 12, Win 8)

Hi there. I have trial versions of both Photoshop Elements 12 and Lightroom 5.2 (trial licenses are both still active (i.e. not expired)). I'm looking to import my PSE12 catalog into Lightroom before I plunk down the money to buy it.
I cannot, however, locate the "File->Upgrade Photoshop Elements Catalog" option in LR5.
I may have originally installed LR 5 before installing PSE 12. So I uninstalled LR5 and reinstalled it. Still no luck - the option isn't there.
Any other ways to force LR5 to look for the PSE 12 catalog? Will LR5 even recognize a PSE12 catalog?

Session Property Set not available in Portal Administration Console

We have a Portal Application (WLP 10.0 MP1) that needs to have visitor entitlements applied to allow some customization based upon a Session Property Set. The property set has been defined in Workshop and the .ses file is now included in our Portal EAR file in the /META-INF/data directory. When the EAR is deployed on a local (winXP) domain the property set is then available in the portal admin console and can be used to build entitlements. When the EAR is deployed to our test server (Solaris 10) the property set does not become available in the portal admin console. Both servers are in development mode and already have a previous version of the EAR deployed in streaming mode.
Is there anything obvious that needs to be done to ensure that a property set is enabled when deploying a new EAR?

We are actually performing the portal EAR build using maven but are creating the same directory layout as is created by Workshop when a data sync project is used and an EAR exported, i.e. the contents of the data sync project ends up in the EAR /META-INF/data directory.
The mystery here is that the property set correctly deploys in one environment but not in another. I'd really like to know whether there are any particular tricks to the property set deployment and what the deployent process actually does. Could issues with the target environment prevent correct deployment of the property set?

OS System catalog not available

Hello,
I have successfully discovered a Solaris 10, Sun Fire E25K Domain using Discover and Manager Assets. It also deployed the agent successfully, and the asset is seen and responding correctly.
Most of the Actions on the right hand side panel are available, except for Compare System Catalog, and View/Modify Catalog.
Does anybody know why that catalog was not created during discovery, and if not how can I get it created, so that I can do a baseline, and OS upgrade ?
I am running Ops Center 2.5, on a Solaris 10 intel server.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

takes up to 20 - 30 minutes sometimes
also have had to uninstall and reinstall agent especially on Solaris 9 servers
to get the catalog to populate.

UWL Approve and Reject buttons not available in Portal 7.31?

Calendar pop-ups not available in portal but appearing in BAB

Hi,
When I execute Sales Order transaction through BAB, certain fields with Date values are having pop up icon through which calender opens up, but same thing when executed through protal does not show such icon through which calendar can be opened, only the text field appears.
What could be the problem ? same thing I am executing
through BAB, it goes fine and in Portal its not showing

Vishal, can you check the data type of the fields that do not show the date picker pop-up. I think these fields are not of type 'DATS' which prevents the trigger the actual pop-up. EIther you have to add the date picker functionality ourself (not easy), for more information on the actual date picker fuctionality have a look at the BSP Application: "HTMLB_samples". Hope this helps, Tiest.

Just got windows 7 and the HP Support and Drivers doesn't have the same Solution Center sw available.
I loved the way it worked in Win XP.      Pls tell me where it is located.

Can you post here the Hardware Id of the Wireless Device
     - In device manager Wifi device should show like Network controller with a yellow Icon.
                -Right-click on it and choose properties.
                -Click on the details tab on top
                -Change the property Value, change it to Hardware ID
                -then paste back here what's on the Value

Catalog not available for Costa Rica

I've recently bought a Palm Pre2... as I should say this is the best smart phone i've had; i'm very frustrated by the fact that I cannot download anything from the Catalogl this because it is not open yet for Costa Rica.... c'mon!?!?!?
I cannot download any app, I can get system updates, but just that.
Is there any way I can get to the catalog? Can i use a USA sim and reset the profile? Please let me know what's the trick so I can get to download applications.

If you have activated your phone using SIM card from Costa Rica you dont have an option get applications from US even if you try and sign in again using US Simcard. Partial erase, full erase, nor WebOS Doctor can fix this.
The device record is created once after creating your palm profile and this cannot be changed afterwards. Your first good activation will be for that device, no matter what you use next time you activate.

Learning Solution - Course Schedule

I need a solution from your guys, my scenario is, user wants to schedule a course from 01-02-2010 to 28-02-2010 and everyday training is will start at 0900hrs to 1700hrs. Is it possible if I just select a single day and system schedules it for the whole month without period days off. Your help will be highly appreciated. Thank You

Fields in Field Catalog not available when creating condition table

I see that field HIEBO01 to HIEBO12 are available in Field Catalog, but I don't see these fields when creating condition table
Please let me know what I am missing here.

you need to get them added to the pricing structure KOMKAZ or KOMPAZ based on whether you need @ header level or @ item level respectively.
and then add the logic in the sales order user exit for these added field in the pricing_prepare_TKOMK or pricing_prepare_TKOMP...again based on header level or item level.....
Then go back to the field catalog and select from the respective structure and add them, Then you can see them when creating cond tables.

Stop Transaction option not available in Portal

When I acess a Transactional iView from Portal,it does not show the icon on the top left most corner,which will display the below Menu ,when we click on it.
Restore
Move
Size
Minimize
Maximize
Close
Create Session
Stop Transaction
This icon and menu comes up when the transaction is accessed from backend.This happens with all transactional iViews.
Please help with your inputs.

You can control the appearence of all this buttons from ITS service parameters.
Go to the transaction SICF and Give the service name ITS.
