Lg G3 Vigor

My phone recently received a software update whic I was told from LG came from AT&T. LG had a smart cleaning feature to clean out unwanted or temporary files from your phone and to increase space on your phone. It was located in settings. Upon doing the software update. The smart cleaning feature disappeared. LG indicated it should not have been removed. Can I get this feature back?

That was removed from the ATT update for the phone.  It does not work properly on lollipop was why it was removed.

i have an imac connected to the internet through a draytek vigor 2820n router. this router has a USB port with a HP Deskjet 5560 printer attached (for use as a network printer for other machines on the network). How do I configure this printer on the iMAC?

I checked on the HP web site. Your aswer is on the HP website under your printer type. Update your drivers and follow the instructions given by HP and the printer will work as you have it connected.

  • Issues with multiple subnets - ASA5510 to Vigor 2820 VPN

    Hi there,
I am hoping someone here can help.  I have been struggling for some time to sort out issues in a VPN we have between our main London office and the Edinburgh branch office.  We have an ASA 5510  in London, talking to a Vigor 2820 in Edinburgh.
The London office has a 192.168.0.0/24 subnet, with the default gateway as a Cisco Catalyst at 192.168.0.254, and the Cisco ASA at 192.168.0.254 as the firewall.
The Edinburgh office has the subnet 192.168.2.0/24, with the Vigor running on 192.168.2.1, providing routing, DHCP and firewall services there.
I have the VPN working fine, correctly routing traffic between those two subnets over the IPsec tunnel.  However, I have had much trouble adding additional subnets for our VLANs in London.
What I want to happen is traffic from 192.168.2.0/24 to be able to get to and from 192.168.50.0/24 and several similar networks.
Upon tracing it using the Cisco packet tracer, I can see that the packets for the 192.168.50.0/24 subnet are not making it over the tunnel, having being stopped by the VPN: subtype: encrypt rules.  Looking at these rules though, I can't spot the problem.  Multiple changes of order of the rules, and reloads have not sorted out the problem.  When I run a packet trace on the main subnet it works fine.  I have attached some of the configuration (below) as well as the output from the packet tracer, and the config of the Vigor router.
I apologise in advance for the length of the post, but I have tried to include all relevant information to see if anyone can help.
Firstly, here's the ASA config that seemed relevant.  I tried to remove some since we have quite a few site-to-site tunnels set up, and these are probably not relevant (and are all working correctly).

I appreciate there may be some duplicated/redundant rules here - I have been playing with config to try to fix the problem.  I'd really appreciate any suggestions on how to track this down.
    Here's the vigor config:
So it looks to match ok to me at both ends, unless there is something I missed.  The vigor routing table shows:
    Key: C - connected, S - static, R - RIP, * - default, ~ - private*             0.0.0.0/         0.0.0.0 via [ISP gateway server],   WAN1S         [branch peer ip]/ 255.255.255.255 via [branch peer ip],   WAN1S~       192.168.40.0/   255.255.255.0 via [London office ip],    VPNS~       192.168.50.0/   255.255.255.0 via [London office ip],    VPNS~       192.168.10.0/   255.255.255.0 via [London office ip],    VPNS~        192.168.0.0/   255.255.255.0 via [London office ip],    VPNC~        192.168.2.0/   255.255.255.0 is directly connected,    LANS~        192.168.7.0/   255.255.255.0 via [London office ip],    VPNS~       192.168.30.0/   255.255.255.0 via [London office ip],    VPNS~       192.168.20.0/   255.255.255.0 via [London office ip],    VPN*     [ISP dns server]/ 255.255.255.255 via [ISP gateway server],   WAN1
I have replaced IPs here as is shown.  You can see the vigor seems to want to route the appropriate traffic over the VPN.
Finally, here is the packet trace output:

So it seems to find the rule, which it ought to match, but then returns DENY.  What's going on here?  Perhaps this is misleading and the issue is elsewhere, but it isn't clear from the output here.
For further information, this is output for the WORKING subnet - I have just taken a small part here though:

Thanks very much in advance for any help you can provide - I've been really stuck on this one!

    Hi,
Can you issue the packet-tracer with the direction beeing your London office -> Remote office?
    Also issue the command twice.
Personally I've used packet-tracer with some L2L VPNs to test if the remote end has the configurations correct. Also I've noticed that the first packet-tracer test never goes through. So issue that command twice and show how it goes.
Though I imagine you have tried to connect through the L2L VPN with real host machines and not just the firewalls packet-tracer?
Also I imagine the original info has a typo. You say your ASAs LAN gateway IP and the local L3 switches IP address is the same, 192.168.0.254.
Basically the hardest part regarding L2L VPNs should be the initial setup of the VPN connection. Even though it should be simple people still tend to mess up PSKs or Phase1/2 parameters. But as your L2L VPN is already in working order and you are just adding networks to it, it should be pretty simple.
When you add network and dont require any special NAT configurations, your NAT0 and Encryption domain access-list should look pretty much the same.
And looking at your configurations, it should be like this
    access-list outside_2_cryptomap extended permit ip 192.168.20.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 access-list outside_2_cryptomap extended permit ip 192.168.30.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 access-list outside_2_cryptomap extended permit ip 192.168.40.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 access-list outside_2_cryptomap extended permit ip 192.168.50.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 access-list outside_2_cryptomap extended permit ip 192.168.10.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0 access-list outside_2_cryptomap extended permit ip 192.168.0.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.2.0 255.255.255.0

Btw what is the network 192.168.7.0/24? It seems to have a VPN rule at the remote site but not at the HO site. Though there is a NAT0 rule for that traffic on the HO site.
EDIT: I imagine the VPN network rules should be an exact mirror image of eachother. Though it seems this doesnt stop devices from negotiating the VPN up but who knows if some other device type is picky about that one. Only thing in your situation that I see is the network 192.168.7.0/24 that is not included in the other ends configurations.
EDIT2: Also the reason your test for the already existing rule might be going through without a problem might be because the tunnel is up and working for the networks in question.
EDIT3: Does your Vigor device also have NAT0 rules configured for the new networks?

  • DrayTek Vigor 120 + Airport Extreme Base Station?  I have queries.

Ok, so my 3 or 4 year old USR 9108 router went down today-- again. I'm fed up and want a new one. It dies on me once or twice a month. It has decided it doesn't like my powerline adapters lately. and I'm fed right up. I run an internet radio station and what I need is stability.
At the moment, I'm thinking of setting up a DrayTek Vigor 120 ADSL modem (modem-only) with the Airport Extreme Base Station for my router. (I already have an Express on my network.)
First of all, can anyone please comment on whether they have this set-up and whether it's solid? I've heard good things about both of these devices, and I need something that's not going to flake out as regularly as my USR has been doing of late. Rock solid is a good thing for a 24/7 stream.
Second, can I just confirm a few questions that I think I know the answer to, but want to be sure before shelling out?
I am in the UK using an ISP that uses PPPoA; so I need to be sure the modem has a PPPoA to PPPoE bridge in order for the Airport to talk to the outside world. (Right?). I gather the DrayTek will do this. Will it therefore be just a question of setting the Airport to connect via PPPoE and then entering my ISP login settings in Airport Utility?
I need a setup ideally that, like the USR, will allow me to assign IP addresses manually to some machines or devices on my network but allow DHCP on other things (like my iPhone). It's particularly important that the radio stream should have a static IP. I gather, from having a play with my Express's settings, that I'll be able to accomplish this either directly or by DHCP IP-reservation. Directly would be preferable. Therefore, if I, e.g., assign my computers an IP address on their local network settings and then just shift the Airport's DHCP range so that it starts with (say) 192.168.1.10, rather than, 192.168.1.2, will the Airport be happy with that?
I also need port forwarding / port mapping. This should be o.k., right?
    Thanks for help, people.

I'm running a very similar setup here in the UK. I use a Netgear DG834 rather than the Draytek 120 which I was looking at. I use a Time Capsule connected to the router which is in half-bridge mode and this allows me to connect using PPPoE, which is possible on the BT ADSL network, which I didn't know before! - there's no need to get an expensive PPPoA-PPPoE bridge. I guess the Draytek would do an even better job than the Netgear, but mine was the free solution
I use the TC to give out addresses to a network of various kit, with one fixed IP for a specific device. I find the TC and my airport express very easy to set up and run, if slightly light on the details of what's actually going on. That said, if it doesn't work, then they're probably broken!
Nothing you've asked for is out of the ordinary / impossible on the apple kit.
    Hope that helps!

  • Purchased used G3 Vigor; SIM not recognized at all?

This is my first time ever using a wireless forum to ask a question, but I figure since it's a Sunday evening and all the stores are closed, it's worth a shot asking for advice here before tomorrow! Yesterday I bought a used LG G3 Vigor (model D725) with plans of replacing my Galaxy S5 because it's been a disaster ever since the Lollipop update. The G3 has Kit-Kat on it, so I figured I have a few options before updating that to Lollipop later, but anyway, I noticed that the device doesn't recognize any SIM I put in to it. I've tried three so far, and it doesn't recognize any of them. I tried cleaning the SIM slot contacts and factory reset, but still nothing. The microSD card slot sits directly on top of the SIM slot, and it recognizes microSD cards just fine. So, I obviously can't use this device because of this and I'm guessing I got ripped off at this point because I wasn't told the device had any issues when I bought it yesterday. So, I wanted to know if anyone has any experience or advice on how to approach AT&T with it? I know the Vigor was released in September of last year, so it's still definitely under one-year warranty, but I wasn't sure if because I bought the phone used that the warranty wouldn't apply, or if the phone has to actually be registered active on my account before AT&T would look at it, which I obviously can't do because it won't read my SIM. I figure it could easily be repaired since it's still under warranty and the device itself is mint - like, not a single blemish and the water indicators are intact. I just wasn't sure how to handle it since the device technically isn't on my account yet. Any help would be appreciated before I visit my local store tomorrow. Thanks in advance!!

When you boot the Vigor, what carrier logo is on screen?
If it isn't ATT, I suspect the phone is locked to another network.

  • AEBS and Vigor Router problem.  Can anyone help?

I've a small home network running an Airport Extreme Base Station, An Airport Express, a 350GB disk and an ADSL modem. The only computer on the network is a MacBook Pro, although my iPod also connects through it. This worked flawlessly for the past 12 months, until the modem provided by my ISP died.
I struggled with a NetGear ADSL modem for a couple of days, which the AEBS couldn't see. Following comments elsewhere on this site I returned it, and bought a Draytek Vigor110, as this seems to be the product that segues most effortlessly with the AEBS. This morning I managed to get the thing up and running, wirelessly connecting the laptop to the internet, however I appear to have lost the rest of the network.
The Airport utility can no longer find either the AEBS or the Express, nor connect to the hard drive. The iPod will not connect at all. The laptop steadfastly refuses to pick up any wireless devices in the area, despite being currently connected to the Internet via one of them.
Any ideas? The Draytek support is non-existent and I'm not particularly clued up on DHCPs, PPPoE, subnets and all that jargon.
I'm guessing that I've done something wrong with the Bridge mode - but as I can no longer connect to the AEBS I've no idea how to sort this out.
    Thanks for your time.

hi what you need to do is reset AEBS and connect the WAN port to the vigor and for setup point only the macbook pro to the LAN open airpot utility and connect to the AEBS you need to set the internet connection to PPPoE and enter your username and password for your ISP and also set share a public IP address. you can set up the WiFi side as you like.
there are not settings for the vigor as it only coverts ADSL PPPoA to PPPoE.
i use a lot of vigor 100/110 with there Vigor 3300 routers and all you do is just plug the in.

  • Has anyone got E71 or S60 VPN working to a Vigor r...

I am struggling to get VPN working to a Vigor 2600 router to allow MfE to contact our MS Exchange Server.
Am I wasting my time, or is there someone out there who has already succeeded and can tell me how to do this?
My most obvious problem is the lack of correlation between the VPN parameters in the Vigor, and the Questions in the Nokia VPN Policy Tool.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi
Did you get anywhere with this? I have the same router and can't get it working...

  • Just setup new Draytek vigor 2750N...... + resetti...

    HI all
i mentioned on another thread http://community.bt.com/t5/BT-Infinity/New-draytek-sync/td-p/517941/page/2
that i was getting a  Draytek vigor 2750N. I got it from ebay for about £100.
As it was used off ebay i took some advise and factory reset it 1st.  was quite easy to setup. and is now up and running.  just a couple of Qs
username/password  should this be my @btinternet.com email address /password   or home@bthomehub thiny (cant remember it exactly) and leave p/w blank?
also on the stats page is there somewhere that tell me what each is   e.g 1Day CV, Total FEC etc.?
next question is simple but bit lengthy..
As as previously mentioned in another thread.  after having a few engineer visits and disconnections on my line, my profile dropped from btspeedchecker ( was about 32mb)  dropped down to a low of about 27ish.
Now i have read mixed advise about if people should actually disconnect (reboot) the modem(and ot routers) to give the line profile a kick/push  or just to leave it to naturally increase (with DLM).. as some warn that it may reduce it even more so with the disconnections. (as DLM thinking line is unstable and lowers speed accordingly)
From my finding i found that...   if i did keep disconnecting the BT OR modem that it would keep dropping the line profile by a meg or so each time..  however what i did was after a reset and seeing it drop i  kept downloading large files (50gb - 100gb) at a time at full speed  to show the line was capable to handing downloads at the max speed) i did this for a day or two   however the profile wouldnt "naturally increase" after doing another btspeedcheck.   so after a day or so of heavy downloading  i would then give the modem a quick blip (usually at off peak times like  late night or v eary morning   this did actually raise the profile..
and kept following the same process.upto  2 nights ago i was working late till about 2am  profile was at 31.51mb so rebooted modem (had to wait an hour for another test) and it increased to  33.62mb (highest i seen since 1st of may from when i had work done)  which its been at since now  (installing draytek)
now i installed the draytek 2pm today.  line profile decreased to 32.77  was disconnected for about 5 mins as had to input settings etc.  so im hoping after a day or 2 of downloading again this will raise up..
However with the draytek router/modem  will i need to give the unit a reboot to see the profile increase(or decrease)   like the BT OR modem or will this naturally increase(or decrease) itself??
if someone can tell me how i will paste a image of my stats from the draytek so you can take a look and see what you think??
    thanks
    Grant

If you use the power on/of switch you will lose your settings.
The best way is in the admin section,as that has a choice of a factory reset or a warm reset.
If you do any resets though it is a good idea to save your settings first from the admin section.
Another good move if you have not done it is to change the PW [system PW] in the admin section as all drayteks use admin/admin,you need to use admin/xxxxxx,but don`t forget the new PW or you will not get in.
But personally I think that a reboot will only make your profile worse as with the draytek you are rebooting the modem and the router sections. If you leave it on it should get stable again, but the choice is yours.

  • LG G3 Vigor - slow/unusable since Lollipop upgrade

I've had the Vigor since February - it shipped with KitKat installed, and it ran fine. Shortly after I got it, it received an OTA upgrade to Android 5, and since that time the phone is so slow as to be unusable. Some apps (inlcuding basic fucntionality like phone call and text message) can take 20-30 seconds or more to come up. There have been times where I missed a phone call because the device did not respond to my attempt to answer it in time. Sometimes apps do come up faster, but overall performance is substantially worse than it was before the upgrade - and even worse than the Galaxy S3 it replaced.
I am a fairly savvy android user - I have tried multiple things to impreove performance. I have reimaged the phone multiple times, cleared cache, tried running the phone with just the "factory" apps - nothing helps. I'm now trying multiple things to try and keep memory usage down and boost performance, but again - nothing I've tried has helped. I have the phone for work, but it is officially reaching the point where I can't rely on it to work if I need it. Is it possible the phone itself is defective?

    Hello there
I’m sorry you are experiencing phone issues after updating to Lollipop; I would be happy to assist you.
You stated that you have tried many troubleshooting steps. You said you cleared cache, but did you clear all cached data?
To wipe all app cache, follow these steps:
From the home screen, tap Apps.
    Tap Settings.
    Select the General tab.
    Tap Storage.
Wait for menu options to finish calculating.
Tap Cached data, and then tap OK.
Have you downloaded the LG Support Tool? The Support Tool allows you to create a backup and also download firmware updates. To download the free software click here.
    Thank you,
    Charise

  • Wireless drop outs: draytek vigor 2600: macbook pro: channel 6

    Hi all
Thought I'd drop this is, as it may help others??
I've been having real problems with unstable wireless drop outs, it's been driving me barmy!
I've been using a draytek vigor 2600 plus, when connected via ethernet, it's brilliant, use wireless and it *****, with drop outs every minute or so, and when it does connect the strength is shocking even though my router is above me, about 6 foot!
I used www.istumbler.net/ and found that my next door neighbour has his router on channel 6... same as mine, since this I've changed to channel 12 and now signal strength is full (on the airport logo) and haven't had a drop out for hours...
I'll post again if the status changes, but give it a try if you are having problems similar...
    hope this helps.
    Az

I have been having the same issue for the last two weeks. No real indication as to why it ever began other than I had turned off my router and Airport Extreme Base Station off for a weekend while I was away from my place.
iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, all have no issues at all with my Airport Extreme Base Station. Can stay connected throughout my living room, bathroom, bedroom, no issues whatsoever.
My 5 month old MacBook Pro 2.66 GHz Core i7 Airport is sometimes perfect, able to connect, DHCP, and browse without issue. Then, for no reason, I won't be able to join my wireless network, or when I can join, I can't pick up an IP address. And then it will connect, pick up and IP, and then it won't browse. No real rhyme or reason to when this will happen, or when it works.
I thought that it was an issue with my MacBook Pro, but then my sister visited with her brand new MacBook Pro 2.26 Intel Core 2 Duo, and while a month ago she was able to connect, DHCP, and browse without issue, this weekend she had all of the same issues I was having.
My XBOX 360 and MacBook Pro have absolutely no issues with the wired connection. Only my WAN seems to have this issue.
Did you ever find anything more to this?

  • Good headphones for vigorous workouts, that won't fall out?

I've found the earbuds the Shuffle came with to be a little small as it is, and while at the gym on an elliptical or whatnot, they tend to need to be frequently pressed back in or they fall out.
Any recommendation on something that might fit better/be less prone to falling out? Looking at the ratings on headphones in the Apple store, all of them seem to vary widely from "they're great" to "they break five minutes after you put them on."
I suggested to Consumer Reports that they rate headphones, and got a thank you from them for the suggestion, but supposing they do an article on it, it wouldn't be for some time. Perhaps there are other magazines that have done ratings?
    Thanks,

The in-ear type fits more snugly and so doesn't fall out as easily. Due to the snug fit, it blocks outside sound better and sounds MUCH better than the terrible headphones the iPod comes with.
These are the ones I use. Apple sells some too.
However, they might still fall out with vigorous exercise. They work pretty well on my walks though.

  • Adding WRTG54 to Vigor ADSL modem...

    Hi all,
Ive searched high and low for a solution to my/our problem at work to no avail. Hopefully someone here can come up with a simple explanation and make a few guys happier in their work
We have a Vigor ADSL modem linked to a hub that then links to 3 pc's and 2 printers all via ethernet. Connection to the outside world is fine.
A few weeks ago the IT geek decided to switch the modem from DHCP to PPPoA and put each pc & printer on fixed IPs. The Vigor is also on a static IP.
This therefore cut off our link to the Linksys WRTG54 we have in a different room serving as a wireless router.
The Linksys is/was connected via ethernet to port 1, port 2 direct to laptop. Wireless worked fine until they changed to static IP etc on the Vigor, now we only have ethernet to the laptop and no Wireless.
What do we need to do at the Linksys end to get wireless working again??
    Cheers in advance..

What's the local IP address of the vigor? What is the vigor's dhcp range?
If I were you, I'd reset the linksys to factory defaults and start over with the LAN to LAN cascade.
Remember, you may have to change channels on the linksys to avoid wireless interference from other 2.4 ghz ....,,,

  • Is the HTC Vigor/Rezound the next Bonic?

Have heard a lot of hype about the Vigor, then this last week not so much.
Was really hoping Verizon to announce this phone in San Diego this week.
Samsung Nexus Prime - will have too big of a screen.
Motorolla Razr (if thats the new name) for next month will have to see.
Verizon - lets get the Vigor out now.

agree - Bionic not worth comparing.
Oh, and not compairing- post in hope that Verizon folks have customers eager for this (Vigor) phone and see no where else on this site to contact them.  I tried the contact page- but went in an endless loop.  much like trying to respond to you,  Ended up creating a new profile !

  • Vigor 120 bridged with EA4500 extremely slow connection

I've set up PPPoE on my EA4500 router with a Vigor 120 modem in bridged mode and it says an internet connection is established, but the connection is extremely slow on all my devices. When I run the speed test within the EA4500 firmware it appears fine, but I cannot load any web pages on my laptop or other decives because the connection is so slow. The connection is slow with both wired and wireless connections. I've tried changing the MTU settings with no success. I've also tried using a different router and connecting the modem directly to my laptop and using PPPoE within the laptop and these both work fine, so I think it's clear there is a problem with the EA4500 router itself.
I asked about this on a different forum (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=66&topicid=112242) but no one could figure the problem out - perhaps someone has a better idea on this forum.
In the meantime I'm just using the Vigor 120 to authenticate and connect to the internet itself, with the router in DHCP automatic configration mode. I think this is causing a double NAT.

Reset the EA4500 to factory defaults and update to smart wifi firmware. After the upgrade is complete, reset the EA4500 to factory defaults.
    http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/ccc
If you decide you want to try putting your Vigor 120 back in to bridge mode, make sure the vigor 120 has the latest firmware first. Then try MTU of 1492 on EA4500. Or follow this............
    http://homekb.cisco.com/Cisco2/ukp.aspx?pid=80&vw=1&articleid=386
It's always possible that the EA4500 is not compatible with you ISP's PPPoE.
You can also try these methods.......including bridge mode.

  • Vigor 120 setup

I know this topic has been covered; configuring the modem to work with AirPort Extreme, but I'm a bit slow when it come to networking, so please bear with me.
Am I right in thinking that the Vigor 120 cannot be configured with my ISP's username and password directly plugged into my MacBook? I was trying to do this last night and there is nothing in the modem's admin settings that would allow me to do this.
If that is correct, then if for any reason my AiPort Extreme stopped working, then would I be unable to connect to the internet by plugging the Vigor straight into my MacBook?
Up until now I've been using an ADSL Nation X-modem, but this is limited to 8Mb/sec and soon I'll be moving on to ADSL2+ and so I decided to get the Vigor.

While I've never heard of the Vigor being used directly with a Mac, and the companies web site seems to only give instructions for setting up with Airport Utility, I would have thought it could be set up within OS X.
This technical document for Snow Leopard explains how to enter PPPoE settings
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=Mac/10.6/en/8855.html
I'd be interested to hear if it works.
Note: generally you don't need to change any settings on the Vigor itself - normally the PPPoE settings are entered on the Airport Extreme using Airport Utility, or in your case I'm suggesting entering them within OS X itself. The Vigor just acts as a bridge - it makes the Mac (or Airport) think it's connecting via PPPoE and the Vigor just translates that into PPPoA, the standard used in the UK.

  • Vigor 120 Connecting to Apple Airport

    Can anyone assist me please?
I have purchased a Vigor 120 after flashing the modem code it now connects to the adsl signal. I am experiencing difficulties deciding what configuration i should use in both the Vigor and the airport.
Has anybody sucessfully connected to the internet with these 2 devices. Any advice would be most appreciated
    Regards
    Paul

I don't personally use one but Draytek say it's "Ideal for apple™ Airport Extreme and Time Capsule" so this looks like a supportted configuration.
