Please mentioned the details of the source and target OS.
How are you moving this instance? Are you using Rapid Clone or just backup/restore?

For help,thanks!!!!!
I'm right now working for clone a EBS 12.1.3 env.AC-00425: Setting permissions failed for file: /u01/oracle/VIS/db/tech_st/11.1.0/rdbms/lib/config.cAs root user, please change permissions on this file and make sure it is owned by the correct OS user (usually the database tier nodes are owned by oracle user).
The same error is reported in (How To Configure Apache In R12 (10.1.3) To Listen on a Restricted Port Such as 80 or 443 [ID 578001.1]) but the issue in the doc does not match the case you have. The doc clearly explains that setting permissions properly would fix the issue.

Hi Experts,
I am performing Cloning for Oracle Application R12 with rapid clone and adcfgclone dbTier is failing with the below error.

Hello,
"C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1" where is my installation of database oracle enterprise 11g; I use Windows 7 Pro.
I have in System PATH : C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin
I have in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > ORACLE > SYSMAN > OracleDBConsoleorcl : "ORACLE_HOME" value "C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1"
When i execute "sqlplus / as sysdba" command, i receive error: "The procedure entry point longjmp could not be found in the dynamic link lib. orauts.dll" and "Error ORA-12560"
If i execute
set ORACLE_HOME=C:\app\xps\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1
C:\>set PATH=%ORACLE_HOME%\bin;%PATH%
sqlplus "/ as sysdba"
I don't receive Error.
Why?You don't mention which specific version of the operating system that you are using - Windows XP, Vista, or 7 and whether you're using a 32-bit or 64-bit version.
FWIW, kernell32.dll is a Windows system-level module, so it's possible that you have some corruption in your Windows installation which is preventing FM from launching.
Also, 2Gb of RAM is a bit lean for FM. -
Being absolutely frustrated with the generic FOTY 001 fault for any mapping failure I tried looking for different solution in web.I did actually find out some interesting soutions which is to use XSLProcessor class $ORACLE_HOME/lib/xmlparserv2.jar for parsing XML to a partcular XSLT file.It is giving me the actual error with the proper line number for simple XSLT files. But when I try to use one of the PIP transformations it is still throwing errors for aia and xpath functions. For aia:getServiceProperty it can find out the proper attribute from AIAConfigurationProperties.xml and for xref:lookupXREF it is giving class initializer error.I have added both the jar aia.jar and bpm-services.jar to do that.I have also tried to use oraxsl command line utility which comes with oracle xdk but no luck there also.
In case anyone have been able to use them succesfully please help me out.
Thanks
Animesh Roy
[email protected]you have to do the migration one time. Better now than in the future. One day a forms patch will say: Graphics is now obsolete, please migrate.
To run a 6i graphics service on a 10g platform is (please believe me) the badest way to run your old graphics in the new world.
its like toothache. you can eliminate them through eating 10 aspirins each day. But you know, that you have to go one day to the dentist... -

I tried all possible ways with google help but still i am facing the same issue.Kindly check and suggest to solve the issue.
Thanks in advance.
Vijay.Hi all,
I give you the clear details about the issue what i am currently facing,
1. I installed the 11g (11.2.0) database alone(No EBS) in my local vmware machine.
2. Created my ORACLE_HOME under /u01/oracle/prod/tech_st/product/11.2.0/db_1 directory after that i tried to change my home location from /u01/oracle/prod/tech_st/product/11.2.0/db_1 location to /u01/oracle/db/tech_st/product/11.2.0/db_1 location, like created /u01/oracle/db directory and moved files from /u01/oracle/prod location.
3. I changed my bash_profile and exported home with the modified location also deregistered an old home and registered the new home.
4. When i am issuing echo $ORACLE_HOME it is showing the current home location and ORACLE_SID is same what i created before.
5. But when i am trying to create one more db using DBCA utility it is through the above error.
Please suggest me is it possible to change the location after db creation or any extra steps i have to do for this issue.
Thanks. -
Ld: cycle in dylib re-exports with /usr/X11/lib/libGL.dylib liker error
Hello,
I found out that some open source applications when tied to be installed from source or trough fink or mac ports simply fail at linking with the error:
ld: cycle in dylib re-exports with /usr/X11/lib/libGL.dylib
However, when I force the linker to use /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/Libraries/libGL.dylib instead it works.
I am wondering what is the problem since /usr/X11/lib/libGL.dylib has to be exported from /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/Libraries/libGL.dylib.
It is very painful to force configure to use right version of libGL.dylib. Since the two libraries are of
different size the should be different. Simple replacement of /usr/X11/lib/libGL.dylib by /System/Library/Frameworks/OpenGL.framework/Versions/A/Libraries/libGL.dylib would work, but what are the consequences for the other applications?
I would be very happy is someone from OS X developement would reply to this and address this problem in the future.

External lib call exits on error, which causes Labviews Solaris to exit completely.
I have an external lib which VI's make calls to.
When my function follows the error path, it makes a
call to another lib which does an exit(11).
This in turn causes Labviews 6.0.2 (Solaris 8).
I have the same libs on NT, and Labviews gives a popup
dialog with an error string.
Anyone know how to prevent Labviews from exiting???
I cannot change the 3rd library.
Thanks!> When my function follows the error path, it makes a

You might try to install a signal handler. I don't remember the syntax,
but you have to have a C style function pointer, and you call something
like InstallSignalHandler.
You might want to install it, call the faulty function, then set it back
to its initial setting.

Clean install v4 - Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Lib "buffer overrun detected" error
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library "buffer underrun detected" has only started to occur after installing v4.
i realise plugins etc. might be out of date so i clean installed[no bookmarks, no preferences, install directory cleared etc.] same deal.
firefox does not "Crash" in the traditonal sense (ie. "not responding" generic Microsoft window appears and u must select to close process... this... is different. i get the dialog box about the buffer overrun (and can quite happily continue to stream video/audio from the site i am on, until i click "ok" on the error and firefox craps itself... also at the point of crash and dialog box appearance i can no longer access new webpages- and the process stays in the list of active processes after clicking OK and must be killed before it can be relaunched... )
p.s. of the two types of crash i have experienced thus far, the buffer overrun is FAR more prevalent.A buffer overrun appears usually, when adding more information to a buffer than it was designed to hold,
Please restrt your system in safe mode do a scan, check for disk consistency..

Aperture import of iPhoto '11 lib ad odd version error message
I installed my Aperture 3 upgrade as a 'fresh' install - i.e., deleted my 1.5 library and created a new Aperture library.
When I try to import my iPhoto '11 library Aperture tells me I can't import an iPhoto library from iPhoto 7.xxxxx
huh!? iPhoto '11 opens/writes/converted this database some time ago...
any tips?
(I'd provide more specific wording but I'm not at my Mac)Usually a sign of a damaged iPhoto db.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

nullHi,
I guess you added the entry in /etc/hosts after you got the error.
That being true, stop and start your sapinst again. This will allow you to continue. The information is cached and the only way is to stop and start sapinst.
Cheers,
