Library Widgets Composition problems when opening site

I am using 3 library widget compositions in the mobile site I am currently designing. They are set to "show target on rollover", however, when I preview the site, the target material is already visible. How do I change this? I want these regions to truly only appear when the trigger is rolled over.

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you clicked Site Settings in SharePoint 2013.
For resolving your issue , please open SharePoint 2013 Management Shell, and run the following PowerShell command:
$w = Get-SPWeb http://YourServer/YourWeb;
$w.AlternateHeader = $null;
$w.Update()
If this issue still exists, you need to embed the reference to your StyleSheet in the MasterPage:

Problem when opening site in SPD 2013

Our SharePoint 2010 farm is being converted to SharePoint 2013. I'm a developer, but not really trained in SharePoint administration. It's my job to wirte the code and get it working. I'm in the process of testing the converted sites.
I am an admin on the SharePoint server and an Intranet Owner on the site. I log onto the server and execute SharePoint Designer 2013 as Admin. I go to Open Site and type in the URL.
I get the message "You can't open this location using this program. Please try a different location."
A different developer on our team is not having this problem. There is no record of an error in the SharePoint logs, or in the Event Logs.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Are you able to open your migrated site in the IE ? if yes use the same url in your SharePoint designer to open the site.
While trying to open the site in SPD, omit the Page url, Example: Just use the http://yoursitename.domain.com
not to use the http://yoursitename.domain.com/Pages/Home.aspx.
If your migrated site uses the Alternate Access Mapping,then ensure you configure the same as part of the migration strategy.

That library was created by iPhoto via Share ➙ Burn menu, correct? It's old enough that you may have to drag that library to the desktop and open it with the Finder. Then drag the subfolders from the Originals folder into your open iPhoto 9 library window to import.

Strange problem when opening word doc situated in WLS virtual dir

Hi all,
we have a strange problem when opening word doc
situated in C:\Oracle\Middleware\as_1\forms\webutil
we put some word docs there and tried to open from forms using for example web.show_document('http://wp0606:9001/forms/webutil/mug00103.doc', '_blank');
no problem using FF, however in IE8 the word doc is shown in its binary format, this also happens when we try to open the doc in IE8
however when we google and search for instance for a test.doc and then click on this url a file save dialog is shown
that's why we believe that this might be due to a configuration issue of WLS
any help would be greatly appreciated

I think you have 2 ways to go here. Figure out what html is from wherever weblogic gets it, meaning you have to delve into the docs, snoop
around in directories and find what it must be sending (This is going to be unavoidable if you are going to change what weblogic is doing.
Sooner or later you have to try to figure out where it gets this stuff from)
or
you can experimentally snoop on your url with a tool like wget or curl. These are fundamental web tools.
The latter is always a useful thing to be able to do. (you need to formulate a query to get the content-type).
Whoever managed to get weblogic to serve any files in the first place probably can figure this out.

Problem when opening "Mail"

Dear members of the Apple Community,
After transferring my files and my profile on my new Macbook pro, I keep encountering a problem when opening "Mail". Each time I try, the app asks me to choose a mail account to add, but I already added the ones I normally use. I can either create/add this new account or click the "cancel" button. I cannot use the program (the main functions are not available). But if I try to add a new account, Mail does not upload the new messages for my existing accounts and if I click "cancel", the application simply close itself. What could I do?

It might be worth running Disk Utilities and then Repair Disk Permissions to see if that resolves the problem.

WiFi signals get stronger the closer the machine is to the router and the less interference/blocking of the signal like via walls with metal in them or of thick concrete.
Since the signal emanates outwards in a sphere, your supposed to place the wireless router in a central location in the building so it covers all areas.
The power of the router also has a affect, if your router is old or something not that powerful like a Airport Express, it doesn't have the ability to filter out other signals or enough punch to get through walls etc. or cover a large area as effectively.
If you buy/have a powerful router of newer make and have issues where there is metal in the walls or thick concrete, then you can buy something like OpenMesh and by using Ethernet cables from the back of the router, extend the WiFi signal into other rooms and areas past the blockage.

When Opening Site File Left Side Comes up Blank!

When we open our site from Go live (Open Recent), it usually has the right side filled out with "edit" side and the left side is blank but can be connected. For some reason now it appears to be opening the site file as usual and then when it finishes it comes up as completed, and the left side which *usually has our data, is now totally blank!
We then went to "our Documents" and opened it from the computer file instead, and it worked one time, but not subsequent times. We were able to back it up and have been using that back up on our "Maxtor External Drive" as a way to publish and edit.
The Maxtor "backed up file" has been working for us on the orginal computer that did not pull it up. We even tried loading the file on an additional computer that has GoLive. It worked fine there, so we concluded that the memory on the original computer was just not enough, or that the computer was going out, and that we would just edit from the backed up file on Maxtor for now.
This is not the case since NOW the backed up file we saved on our Maxtor will not open the site any longer. It is blank on the left side just as it had been doing on the original computer.
Our business website is at stake now! Help!

That was the last thing we tried, We created a "New Site" and imported the backed up "site file" from our Maxtor back up (even though it was blank apparently!). This seems to be working for right now, hopefully it wont go unexpectedly blank again!
We are moving to Dream weaver Monday, hopefully we will be able to transfer it with no problem? We would be tranfering the "site file" off of Maxtor. It did not have a web content, data, etc. folder for the new site. Is this going to be a problem when transferring?

Frequent crashing when opening site or "quitting" muse

When opening OR quitting a site (different sites too), crashing. Files are saved and work after the crash thankfully. Problem is not consistent, but happening frequently. Pls advise. Muse and system details attached below.

I have problem when opening a pdf page, my mouse control is hijacked to that tab when im on other tab, i cant scroll or use the middle rollling button, i have to click at the pdf tab then my control over the mouse middle button is restored.

I think I have this problem even on earlier version. The thing is I set open link in new tab and not switch over to the opened tab. My habit is to open a pdf page in the background and let it load first. What happen is that when the pdf page finished loading ( i do not set to download it), it hijacks my middle mouse button control. When i scroll down or scroll up on my original tab, it wont scroll on the tab, but insttead it scrolls on the pdf tab. I have to click on the pdf tab, then i can use the scrolling function on other tabs back. As for when i opened several pdf tabs, it seems i have to click on the tab that just finished loading, that means several times until they all finish loading. It has been getting on my nerve lately. And all pdf trouble i search from google led to unable to open pdf, firefox hang or crash when opening a pdf and the likes.

core-el, i don't see the advantage of that or i can't figure out how i'm supposed to use it. for starters, i have to click the mouse in order to get "add bookmark here" to open, which is no different than clicking on the star in the location bar, or right-clicking on the page. there are also options in the bookmarks toolbar, but they all require clicking the mouse & holding down the right button, etc.
my goal is to use keystrokes only. typing on the keyboard, using both hands, using the space bar & my left pinky finger to tab over are all painless routines for me. as soon as i have to take my fingers off the keyboard & use the mouse, the pain begins.
as i said, in older versions of firefox, all i had to do to bookmark a page was click ctrl>d, then tab over & arrow down, when appropriate, to find the folder & add the bookmark. for me, as a touch-typist whose speed is between 60 & 80 wpm, this is lightning fast.
if i have this wrong, please correct me. i just see it as more mouse clicks that don't save me time or pain.

Strange problem when opening new message.

I have a rather annoying problem when I open a newly received SMS from a particular contact (lets call him Bill).
When I open the new message from Bill, either by swiping to unlock or touching a banner message at the top of the screen. Instead to being shown the message itself, I will automatically be taken to the 'start new message' screen with none of our message history (i.e. as if I am starting to type an entirely new message to Bill)
I can then cancel this and return to myself and Bill's normal message stream.
Any ideas how to get around this annoyance? Thank you.

In the FM'S u might have declared the import,export,tables parameters.So u have to use these parameters in the source code editor of FM.If u don't use any of these parameters and try to use any other parameters which also not declared in the FM source code,then u will get the error.pz check the parameters u r using in the FM....

Werid problem when open two songs

Hi,
When I have one song already open and I try to open a different one whilst keeping the first one open a strange problem occurs. As soon as the second song is open it appears at the arrange page and then it flicks back to the first songs arrange page. I then select the windows menu option and select the second song and the same thing happens. It flick on to the second song and then back to the first again. Its driving me crazy.. any ideas?

This is a common problem when trying to open 2 songs simultaneously. The solution seems to be (first) to close all open windows of both open songs including their arrange windows (but wihtout actually closing the songs in the process). Next, go to the Windows Menu and select song #1. Hit CMD-1 to open an arrange window for it. Re-size it so that it takes up only a portion of the screen. Then go back to the Windows Menu and select song #2. Again, hit CMD-1 to open an arrange window for this song too. You should now have two separate arrange windows visible and no switching. Lemme know if that works.

According to below reference it seems your doc is correct but hosting provider may not support your content type header. Short answer is ask your hosting provider, but there are some troubleshooting suggestions as well in the link below.
