Licensing cs6 win mac

I have a short question.
I own Photoshop CS6 for Windows.
Now i bought a MacBook Pro and want to re-license my PS CS6.
Is this possible at all? And what do I have to do for it?

Yes you would need a full $700 or $1000 licence for the other platform for the perpetual version. But instead you can pay $10 a month  for the subscription version 13.1.2 and run it on both platform.  However there are some advantages for keeping your  windows version at the perpetual level 13.0.1.3 for on windows version you can install the CS5 optional plugins they do not work on the subscription version 13.1.2. So you can use Picture package and the old Web Photo gallery on your PC which in my opinion is better then the bridge output module.  With the creative cloud subscription you also get Photoshop CC and Photoshop CC 2014 you can run on both platform.
Mac Subscription version Photoshop CS6 will get at least one script fix and condition Actions which the perceptual CS6 does not have.  In CC 2014 Adobe removed the Oil painter filter and support for Flash Panels so if you have some thiry party extensions or use Oil Paint Filter you need to keep CC and CC 2014 installed.

    Hi Iscu,
         Once you purchase the Mac version from your Friend, you can go ahead and request for a swap platform to Windows.
    Make sure your friend does a "Transfer of License" through Adobe. Once the "Transfer of License" is complete, the serial number will be registered under your account and you will be the current Owner of the license. Later, you can go ahead and request for a Swap for your product. To know more about the transfer of license, follow the below URL:

    FYI - Swap platform is available only with the current version. Hence if CS7 releases, you need to purchase a Swap platform Upgrade..

    印刷会社さんの統計があるんですね。
    比較的最近のデータで、とても参考になりました。
    低コストで効率的な学習目的であれば、
    現状の環境でも習得可能なようで良かったです。
    以前の職場やCafeで、
    デザイナーさんが打合せやちょっとした確認作業で、
    13～15インチを持参されている方が多かったので、
    それで事足りるのかと勘違いしておりました。
    基本はやはり大画面でデスクトップが前提なんですね。
    モニタサイズ及び解像度については、
    全くの無知ですので、大変参考になりました！
    独学では実績と見なされないため、
    やはり然るべき機関での学習が必須のようですね。
    通学は知人でも意見が分かれております。
    私も体験しましたが、どうもしっくりこなかったり。
    ですが、就職を想定した場合は、
    個人レベルでの学習には限界もあるかと存じますので、
    業界事情や就職相談、応用力、ポートフォリオ制作などの目的で、
    途中からの検討させて頂くことになるかと思います。
    就職先ですが、私の場合は家族が転勤族ですので、
    正社員ではなく、別の雇用形態を考えております。
    （地方のパート求人（初心者OK）で、PhotoshopやIllustratorでの加工、
    簡単な配布物、P作成・修正・更新作業レベルを想定。）
    いずれの雇用形態にしましても、厳しい道のりですが、
    慎重に検討した方が良さそうですね。
    Web・DTP業界は選択肢の一つで、
    情報収集段階ですので、考えが甘いのかも知れません。
    今ある環境を上手く活用し、働き方がマッチするのかについても、
    事前にしっかり調べておく必要がありそうですね。

    Unless things have changed, there are separate S/N's for the PC and the Mac versions.
    I would immediately contact Adobe Customer Support (not Technical Support), and explain the error. I feel that they will be able to help you with replacing the PC version.

    So I would say "unlimited" based on the information provided by Adobe. Of course given all the connectivity and activation issues being posted in the forums regularly, just keep in mind then that during the process you might run into temporary technical trouble. But if all goes well technically, then yes you should be able to activate and deactivate as many times as you want, whenever you want as long as you don't exceed the two computer maximum and abide by the usage terms etc. It's a rather cumbersome approach but is a perhaps cheaper option short of signing up for a team subscription.

I tried reading up a little bit on this and saw some people said in order to do this you would also need to upgrade your product version.     Unfortunately, upgrading to CS6 or joining the Cloud are your only options.
    Platform swapping (Win to Mac and vIce versa) is only available to CS6 owners.

    Yes, you're allowed a maximum of two platform-independent activations with a single membership.

    You can't. Standalone retail licenses are platform specific. Your Mac serial won't work on your PC. otehrwise of course there would be no problem installing on 2 machines...
