Itunes and appstore problems:
i have an iPhone 5 whenever I try to click on the icon in appstore which allows to gift an app or copy link , post to facebook etc does not open it stucks.Also same case for itunes and moreover when I play music in iTunes it stops ..start again stops and start again ..stops and does not play..so I am unable to make gift purchase and listen to the songs..are these bugs or what? help
ps when syncing it jumps through steps 1 - 4 real fast, i seem to remeber iphone showing the number of tracks transferring and names, but i see nothing? then it sits on 5 saying "waiting for changes to be applied"

That's normal. A network drive won't mount by itself. You may want to add the drive to your login items and/or the login items of your boy's account.
He came over to update his iPod tonight. Now the library is inaccessible. It says that his account is not authorized for the folder.
Is that a USB drive? How have you defined access to that drive in AirPort Utility? If you set it to "Secure Shared Disks" "With accounts", you'll have to add his account. -
How do I prevent itunes from moving my music from its original place ie folders in an external drive when I play music from itunes. I have all my music in artist folders and separated by MPG3/MPG4 and FLAC folders within the artist folder and itunes moves the track/s whenever i try and load selected music to my ipod/iphone. I've tried to find some sort of preference to prevent this, but no joy? What am I missing?
Try opening iTunes preferences. Then click on advanced tab. Then uncheck "Copy files to iTunes media folder when adding to library." By default, iTunes copies music to its own media folder when you use iTunes to play the music.

Has anyone else experienced the stopping and starting again whil playing music in itunes. It was working fine wit the prior fix, but after the last update
it started skipping again.Try it in another vehicle see if it still happens, at least you can narrow it down to your phone or the car. My 4s play totally fine, I have never had any of those issues. Maybe its time to restore your phone and start over. I would also have someone else play their Iphone in your car, see if it happens to them. Or try yours in someone elses car. Good Luck!

i just changed my iphone 4s and received another one as i was still under my one year warranty, and now when i play music via headphones there is a volume limit on it, i have tried to turn it off but it wont turn off someone please help>>>

Have you checked your Control Panel to make sure you don't have the flashlight turned on?
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and make sure the flashlight icon (bottom left-hand corner) is not white. If it is, tap on it to turn it off.

clicking on a link in Mac Mail Firefox does not open in front of Mail--it used too. The link does open but I have toclick on the Firefox icon in the Tray to bring it to full screen. Can you please help.

ince updating my firefox browser whenever i click on an internet link in an email it does not open on firefox athough my mac switches to the firefox window as i have this set to be my default browser- what should i do?
I have the same problem, and I also wondered if Google toolbar has anything to do with it. There GMAIL was set as the default mail application at first. I have removed that setting, but Firefox 4.0.1 continues to use GMAIL instead of Outlook which is my selection for mailto handling.

my ipod touch 4 camera icon has disappeared and even does not open in any applications.. have restored it and its running on 4.3.5 not jailbroken pls help??
it does not even appear in the search barIs the Camera turned on in Restrictions? Go to Settings>General>Restrictions.

Funny sounds when i play music on itunes!!!
Just downloaded the new version of itunes. When i play songs on itunes the sound is broken up and is jumping. I can update my ipod and the sound is just fine on that, i can also play tunes on the other media players which too is ok. So there is no problem with my speakers it just seems to be this new version of itunes. If anyone can help, let me know. Thank-you.

I am a new at this. I just rented and downloaded a movie, clicked out of iturnes and now when I go back into itunes, I don't see a way to play the movie that I just downloaded ten minutes ago. I just want to watch it on my laptop.

If you rent a movie on your phone, you have to watch it on your phone, likewise if you rent it from the Apple TV you will have to watch it there.
If you want to watch a rental on multiple devices, rent it from a computer. -
I do not have SOUND after downloading IOS7. I can use earbuds, but no sound when not plugged in. I cannot play music, hear a movie on iTunes or Netflix. Sound works for incoming calls, msgs, etc, but NO sound for music or movies. HELP!

I used Mpeg Streamclip last night to take the .mov files to DV, but same thing I put into iDVD and made a disk image. Once all done i opened the image and the videos were there, but no audio.
This first dvd had 2 of the videos in it the totaled about 90mins. I will try using the higher format. Also with having MPEG streamclip now, I guess I should go back to the .WMV files and try to converting form them? instead of the .mov files. -
Itunes and quicktime unable to play music files
I have an Apple Mac mini (Intel Core Duo - 1.66GHz, 1.25 GB RAM) that I just upgraded to Snow Leopard.
After upgrading, itunes (newest version) won't play any audio files (aac, mpg, aiff). Neither will the new version of quicktime (x).
The older version of quicktime (7) will play the files, as will VLC.
Is this a bug, or was I not supposed to install Snow Leopard on a machine this old?
Has anyone else run into this type of problem?As M has noted, the more info that is presented in the question the quicker you will get a constructive answer. No one can read anothers mind. It is an art to write what ones thought are.
I will assume that you mean "default" as being your internal speakers. To change your sound output - assuming that is your question - go to System prefs and select SOUND. If there are any other sound output options then it would be listed and you can make your selection of speakers.

When i play music on itunes the music keeps jumping bit like a scratched up cd does
pretty much what the question says really its only just started doing it at first i through it was because i had other stuff running but i tried it with only itunes open and it still jumps

iTunes will not open, I keep getting the error 7 (windows error 193).
I have tried many recommendations, erasing folders, reinstalling it many time but nothing.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. If you are running 64-bit Windows and the above steps haven't helped try installing the version of iTunes that can be downloaded from this support document. iTunes 12.1 for Windows (64-bit — for older video cards)
