Go to the bibliothec module, select the folder, right click on the folder and hit synchronize

Means they are going to mess up your iPhoto Library pictures database so it's unreadable by older versions of iPhoto on older OS X operating systems.
You have the choice to right click on the iPhoto Lbrary and inside is a folder called Origianls, use the Finder to Duplicate this folder, then move the OriginalsCopy out of the iPhoto Library folder and save it elsewhere.
I dont' think Apple will every intentionally touch the originals, however it's possible they could.

Remember: we cannot see your machine. There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 8 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Basic things like :

- What version of the Operating System.

I see those are old posts above but I'm just now having the same problems. I have the original software CD that came with my Photosmart D5160 printer but I can't load it. I get the message "You can't open the application "HP Installer" because PowerPC applications are no longer supported". So I don't have that going for me, which is not nice! But I couldn't really care less about that if I can just find a CD labeler software that will print from my Mac to the D5160. I'd rather by new CD labeler software than a new printer. I've tried a few free CD labeler software downloads, including iWinSoft Label Maker, but nothing has worked so far. I think there's an answer somewhere; I'm able to print documents on regular paper using this printer, but I only bought it (many years ago) to print CD labels and some pictures. It's been used only sparingly and it's been in storage since I bought my Mac 3 years ago, mainly because a I got a free printer with my purchase. Any help is vertainly appreciated!!!

I have downloaded Lightroom 3.2-64 Bit . When i start the software it gives me the message" Lightroom-opening Catalog:DSC0024.JPG.Ircat"
Then a window opens and said " Adobe Photoshop lightroom 64-bit has stoped working. A problem caused this program to stoped working correctely. Windows will close the program and notifiy

In short: You tried to create a new catalog with the name of an existing JPEG file ("DSC0024.JPG"). Perhaps you wantet to open/import that file and accidentally used the wrong command (create new catalog). Solution: 1) Rename the file. 2) Start LR, let it create the catalog in a folder named as the original file, 3) close LR, 4) delete the newly created folder containing the new catalog, 5) Start LR again - it will probably ask you for your catalog (select the catalog you are really working with). 6) Re-rename your JPEG file again.
Edit: P.S: LR 3.2 is a rather old version. The latest update for 3.x is 3.6 (free of charge), download it here: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=113&platform=Windows (Note: This bug is not fixed in LR 3.6. It is fixed in LR 4).

Can anyone help me round this please. I have accidentally locked my ipad and despite having pass codes, and apple id's etc, it will not let me into any screen. It just opens up to "slide to open" and then does nothing. Help!

I have locked my ipad, don't know exactly how, but it was NOT from a wrong passcode. I think I accidentally touched the lock button in the little rollup screen at the bottom of the ipad. Firefox will not open my email client when I click on a "mailto" link on any website. How can I fix this.

Anytime I drag my cursor across, or try to click on a "mailto" email link on any webpage, it will display an incorrect e-mail address (it seems to default to one in particular). It will not open a new e-mail window and if I "copy e-mail address" it's the wrong one. I've tried everything and was hoping with new updates the problem would solve itself but obviously it hasn't.

I was looking into the issue you are experiencing and have come across some info that might help you out.
I recommend first, to turn off the iPad, and turn it back on.
Restart iPad
To restart iPad, first turn iPad off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPad will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPad on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

My iphone5 will not charge ! I bought a new charger recently after my old one stopped working, the guy said because the wire got scrunched but i had recieved it like that, and now even the new one won't charge properly.

I recieved my iphone in October right after is what released. It worked beautifully until recently in earlier January I realized that my phone charger would only charge it in certain positions and it had to be held there. Then one day it stopped charging all together, I took the charger to the Sprint store and the guy explained that its because the charger got scrunched up to the top and I had to purchase a new one for $30. I have been using the charger for the past 2 weeks and it has been working fine. Now it won't charge unless I hold it in certain postions again!. I don't know if it's the phone or simply the chargers. My phone is in perfect condiiton, protected and all and so is the new charger.. someone give me advice please. I am so desperate ..

This is the best picture I can take because I used photobooth on the mac book pro to take this and it automatically flashes, but if you can see that the area near where it goes into the phone is scrunched up. It keeps happening to me and I do not bring my phone charger anywhere.

It's not that I can't install to that location specifically, it's that the thing won't install at all. I thought it MIGHT be that the program was having issues writing to Program Files so I tried installing to C:/Lightroom, a folder I made myself, and to my desktop because those were two places I was fairly sure it shouldn't run into a permissions problem. The only reason I thought this might be an issue at all was because I was messing around with the new operating system and saw that I had to grant myself permission every time I wanted to edit things in Program Files, and I thought maybe the installer was having issues for something related. This turned out not to be the case.
tl;dr, I tried to see if I could install it somewhere other than program files and I couldn't. This was part of the debugging process.
Anyway, I'm back to try and install this thing again now. Wish me luck.
