Lightroom 5.5 grid view fails to load some images. These do load in develop, then re-appear in grid. Re-installed 5.4 (after deleting 5.5, then emptying trash in 10.9.5) and it now exhibits same behavior. Suggestions?
These same images fail to load in slideshows; "loading" appears without the image ever appearing. I can export these grayed-out images and retrieve the image content in the exported file. Not being able to see all images in grid view is an inconvenience for sure; e.g., I can't review all the contents of a collection before posting it. This behavior didn't occur until I upgraded to 5.5. Now it has migrated back into 5.4, despite having selected 5.5 and emptying trash before the re-install.

Loader locks images it has loaded

I am trying to create a simple flash that loads an image from my HardDrive. The following is my simple program:

however, I have noted that while this flash is opened, even though the loader has finished loading the image and the image is currently being displayed, I can not edit the image with any other program. (It will complain that the image is currently being used by another program.)
I have found that if i use the close() function for the Loader, it will release the lock. however, if i try to close the loader in my event complete function (because i want to close the loader only after when the image has finished loading), it will complain with the following error:
Error: Error #2029: This URLStream object does not have a stream opened.
Does anyone knows how to release the lock the Loader has acquired after when the image has finished loading?

While the client is being opened, the server might want to modify the image. after the image has been modified, it can notify the client that it has been modified and the client will refresh the image and get the latest image.

FF6 wont connect to websites. Shows 'connecting...'or green circle going round. Loads some or none of page. remains like this indefinitely.
Have removed & re-entered FF in Norton360 f/wall & uninstalled then downloaded FF6 again to no avail. IE/Chrome OKJust an update... A rep contacted me and we did a screen share. They were convinced that I wasn't full of <insert proper word here>. They promised to get back to me in a few days, and now? A few months later? Nothing.
Still no files. Still no correction... Still no nothing from Adobe.
The person I spoke to was kind, saying he'd make sure I got CC for free for a while...
Still though, no follow up.
Adobe, are you going to correct this or just let your customer suffer at your mistakes? -
The Creative Cloud application becomes inoperable continually on both my Windows 7 and 8.1 operating systems. I'm tired of re installing the application after deleting the OOBE file to get updates and syn settings between computers for Photoshop. Is this an endemic problem with others? I'm using Google Chrome as my browser. Is this an issue with the problem?
Similar problem just happened to me with the Creative Cloud Update 1.7.1.418—slightly different so I thought I'd share. I have multiple Adobe Creative Cloud programs installed on my computer, all working just fine. I updated the Cloud App to the latest version and then it shows me that I have only one program installed! All my previously installed programs (Photoshop and the like) still work but show as "install" instead of "Up to date". Initially I thought I'd have to re-install the Cloud app or recreate the OPM data base but then I noticed that some of the Cloud app preferences (Apps > Settings > App Language) were different to what I had set previously. I use English (International) language, the update had reverted the app back to English (North American). I flicked back to my previous language and bam, all my apps now show as being installed correctly.

Why You Can't Load some images on your 5th Gen ipod.
- OK here is the scoop: I could not load some images on my 5th gen ipod and yet other images would load no problemo. Images were JPEG, jpg, PSD (all approved image types for the 5th gen ipod)
- After doing several tests like restoring the software on the ipod, reinstalling itunes I still could not find the problem, then I noticed as soon as I would open an image in Photoshop CS2/CS3 that was otherwise loading on the ipod no problemo, when I would save that same image in Photoshop the image would not load in my ipod.
- So after playing with several settings in Photoshop I found the problem:
-In Photoshop go to File handling:
-Image Previews:
- And click on:Never Save
You do not want to save a photo with a "Image Preview" when saving any file type that you want to load on your 5th gen ipod. it would seem the ipod will not accept any images with a "Image Preview" embedded into the file, JPEG, PSD, jpg etc.
I hope this will help some of you because I just waisted a whole day to find this out the hard way.

BTW I use a Mac Pro/Intel OSX Tiger 10.4.9Also I just found out when you are saving an image in Photoshop uncheck the " Embed Color Profile" box.
So do not embed your images with a "Preview" and DO NOT embed a "Color Profile" when saving images in Photoshop or the images MAY not load on your ipod.

Some images won't load in Safari, iTunes, iBooks and App Store
Since my upgrade to Mavericks, some images on Safari, iTunes, iBooks and App Store wont load some times. I can't figure out the source of problem, but I've tested all four apps and the same problem exists across all of them; I've also tested Chrome, Firefox and Opera to see if they are suffering from the same problem, and surprisingly enough I've found that they are not; They load images perfectly well, and I've never encountered one to not load images. I'm totally confused and frustrated, what is preventing Apple products to load images? Here are some screenshots:
Safari/Preferences/Advanced - enable the Develop menu, then go there and Empty Caches. Quit/reopen Safari and test. Then try Safari/History/Show History and delete all history items. Quit/reopen Safari and test. You can also try try Safari/Clear History and Web Site Data. The down side is it clears all cookies.Doing this may cause some sites to no longer recognize your computer as one that has visited the web site.

getting undefined message, not sure what happened. I did clean out my add remove programs and am not sure if I deleted a java program or what, but went on java and uploaded the necessary software, still unable. Even tried the add ons..etc
It seems it doesn't matter as since update for my plug ins firefox as a whole as slowed way way down and running resources like crazy. Need to fix this. I have been checking around for answers and dont seem to find an easy solution or update to fix this so ff is fast again. It also doesnt seem to be just when on a page with flash on it. It slows all pages down. Once have like 3 pages / tabs open. Fast computer to so this should be fast as heck like it normally is. Thats one main reason for firefox. Cause it runs fast but now slow as can be as of 3 days ago. I updated flash, all plugins and extensions but still slow.
Anybody have any fixes for this and my like posted issue please share. I will be creating a thread myself on this as well so can post there to if dont mind. -
