Limits to number of participants in a chat

I utilize iChat for group discussions in a classroom setting. I am confused why sometimes I can get 14 G-4 laptops in one chat and other times only 7 or 8 can join a chat. The chats occur at the same time everyday and use the same wireless hub. PowerBook G4s are using 10.3 and iBooks are using 10.4... Problem occurs independent of labtops being used. Any ideas out there?

My first guess would be that people are logging on with the same Mac User account names, but I am not aware of anybody making a Group chat work in Bonjour.
IF it is using the AIM servers it means it goes from the classroom and eventually to the Internet and AIM and back again. IN which case I would ask how busy is the local net at this time ?

I am working on SAP Retail implementation. As you know, in SAP Retail, we consider each store as customer and there will be seperate partner profile of type customer for each store.This is for integrating SAP with point of sale (store).
Since number of stores are more, around 1000, i feel it's not good solution to create 1000 partner profiles. Please let me know whether there is any alternative for this and also whether there is any limitation on number of partner profiles that we can create.

i have a project with 18 jspx pages..now i need an additional functionality in my project, which requires creation of one more jspx...
when i try to create another page the previous functionalities are not working...
Is there any limitation on the number of pages in a Project..

i just creaated an empty jspx which even does not have any navigation case ..

Can't add participants to a chat

The "+" option in the Participants window isn't available and therefore i can't add participants to a chat. If I right-click my mouse over the "+" button, i see the names of available buddies, but receive this error when I try to add them:
"NSInternalInconsistencyException:
Can't add partipants in this mode."
What mode am I in that is preventing me from adding buddies to a chat??

we have requirement to implement SAP MDM. Customer has 20 million entries for its customer data. Can MDM support this? I heard maximum MDM can handle only 6 millions entries, above that it cannot work.

I think you can check with SAP if you still have doubts regarding the number of records.

What if you tried something like the following example? This works using formCalc on the change event for the field the user is currently typing into:
    var fullCount = 3
    var currentString = xfa.event.newText
    if(Len(currentString) >= fullCount)then
        xfa.host.setFocus("TextField2")
    endif
Or, if you prefer javaScript:
    var fullCount = 3;
    var currentString = xfa.event.newText;
    if(currentString.length >= fullCount){
        xfa.host.setFocus("TextField2");
These work very smoothly.

Sorry, we do not support a matrix-question field. Please try the multilines text field (where your participant can enter multiple lines in the input text box) and see if it works for you.

Maximum number of participants for MeetMe conference

How do you determin the maximum number of participants for MeetMe conference? All participants will join the conference via the PSTN with the exception of the initiator.

It depends wether you are using hardware of software conferencing resources. With hardware conferencing resources you can have 32 streams per port on a cat 6K blade so you could either have on conference of 32 participants or 10 conferences of 3 participants.
For software conferencing it depends whether the conferencing resources are co-residant on the call manager of on a seperate server. If co-residant the max streams is 48 and 128 for a separate server

What limits the number of MII connections to Oracle.

We are using MII 12.0.5 and an Oracle database and are seeing errors in the logs to the effect:
SQL error occurred on connection jdbc:oracle:thin:@mii001:1527:SMD: code=0, state="null", message="Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12518, TNS:listener could not hand off client connection
The Connection descriptor used by the client was:
mii001:1527:SMD
I am ot an Oracle expert and I have not seen this issue before. What is limiting the number of connections? Is this a MII configuration issue that I am not aware of or an Oracle database issue?

I assume you are getting this error when you are trying to connect to databse while configuring Dataservers in MII,if fo what are the value you passed in the fields PoolMax and PoolSize while connecting to the database.

LSO Booking Error - Maximum number of Participants reached;

Hi Experts,
Our Client is implementing LSO. We had installed Enhancement Pack 4 into the development system.
We are currently facing a Problem relating to the LSO.
When I am trying to book a participant on to the Course (E) via LSO_PSV1 or LSO_PV00, I am getting the following warning but able to book the person on to the Course.
Warning:Maximum number of Participants reached; proceed with waiting list.
But if I try to do the booking using PSV1 (which is TEM transaction) i am able to book the particpant on to the Course I am not getting any warning and the particpant was booked successfully.
I had assigned a Location to the Course Type (D) related to the Course (E) with Minimum Capacity (10), Optimum Capacity (15) and Maximum Capacity (20).
Also to the Course I had provided the same capacity that is there for the Location.
Because of the warning above we are not able to book any Courses from the Portal.
Did anybody face this kind of issue before?
Please provide your expertise on this.

No. We had not assigned the Capacity anywhere other than at the Course Type and Course Level.
I tried one Scenario.
I removed my employee assigned and tried to book on the Course as a User (US). I am able to book without any warning message.
Please let me know if there is any Config that we would have missed.

Server Administrator has Limited the Number of Items You Can Open Simultaneously

Over the weekend, we moved all of our room mailboxes over to Exchange. For users who have lots of room calendars open in their Outlook clients, they are getting the error message "Cannot Open the free/busy information. You Server Administrator has Limited
the Number of Items You Can Open Simultaneously" after the migration from Exchange 2010.
Restarting the Outlook client temporary fixes the problem, but the problem comes back after they access the calendars again.
The users impacted deal with a lot of room scheduling, so they have 30+ room calendars open in their Outlook clients.
I have tried setting up a throttling policy with unlimited RCA connections, but that didn't help.
I have seen with Exchange 2010 there were some registry keys people were setting on the server that pretty much makes everybody have unlimited connections, but that isn't ideal if's only affecting a few people.

Since this issue only occurs to a few users, I recommend you disable all the third-party applications on Windows, especially for the desktop search apps. Meanwhile, use Outlook safe mode to disable all the add-ins and check if the issue persists.
If the issue persists, you need to reset the value of Maximum Allowed Sessions Per User. Besides, we can't set it for only some specified users.
