Link BW System to EP 60 SP11

Hello all,
Does anyone know if there's any documentation in place that provides guidance on connecting a BW system to EP60 SP11 similar to the document that exists for SP2?:

Determine linked SRM system in ECC

Hi All,
I need to be able to determine the linked SRM system from ECC in order to call a function module in SRM to return the URL for SRM to ECC to allow a workitem in ECC to contain a link to SRM.
Table BBPC_RFC_DEST seems to hold a link but I've never seen this table used, does anyone know what this table is used for? The config help says:
Definition of RFC Connections for Resource-Related Billing
Use
In this IMG activity, you define which connected SRM Systems are relevant for resource-related billing.
Enter the logical system and the RFC destination.
Requirements
The connected SRM System must be Release 5.0 or higher.
but would populating this table alone activate something else?
Alternatively does anyone else have any other suggestions for retreiving the URL for SRM from ECC other than creating a custom table to hold the information.

Hi all,
perhaps I need to clairfy my question.
I know how to find the URL in SRM, my requirement is to be able to work out the URL of the linked SRM system from within ECC.
I have a couple of ideas such as call a function mdoule in SRM to read the user arrtibutes which will give me the URL for system. To do this I need to first determine the RFC destination for the linked SRM system, I think I can do this by populated table BBPC_RFC_DEST in ECC. However I sdon't know if popualtign this table in ECC will have any other implications?
Does anyone know what the implications of populating table BBPC_RFC_DEST in ECC arE?
or does anyone have an alternative soltuion for determining the URL for the linked SRM system from within ECC?

You should be able to hide those fields by creating a standard variant(If you want to hide those fields for everyone executing those transaction) for the same transaction.
Please have a look at transaction SHD0 to accomplish the same.

sure, any card that has the output for 5. has that capability. i am not sure about the inner power supply tho. the only thing to do is to get a adapter so you can plug it both in. dont know why would you do that to be honest since you would have 0speakers and 2 sbwrs playing the same stuff at the same time. and if u were asking if its possible to get card and use it for 2 independent computers- hell yea, but why in the world would you do sucha thing- to make it running would cost you 0 times more than buying two new audio cards. just think of what would you all have to get - extra power supply, extra slot adapter, output adapters and you would end up figuring out that this is only a half of what you would need and ultimately you would end up like i said with 500bucks having a whole bunch of junk cords and boxes outside your case since you wouldnt be able to fit it in.
another words- bullshiz, get 2 cards, SBAudigy sells for 50bucks.

Hard link redundancy system

This is my random thought of the day.
What if, after a fresh install, you created a /mnt/backup dir, and hard linked _every_ file on the system in there in the same hierarchical order. Then you take a snapshot of the system, by... i dunno... backing up the 'locate' db, and then set a cron job that every hour takes a new snapshot, compares this with the old snapshot, adds/removes hard links to the /mnt/backup sub-hierarchy accordingly, and then stores the new snapshot in the old one's place for comparison next time the job runs. Or better still, have a daemon that continually monitors for file system changes and modifies the backup system as needed.
Though incredibly clunky, can anyone give me any reason why this system would be ineffective?
A couple of things I'd be interested to know are
a. Is traversal of the directory tree affected only by the distance travelled through it, or by its total size?
b. Does it seem likely that there's _any_ way this could be made to work with ext3, by backing up the current inode table along with each snapshot for example? Am I remembering correctly when I think that ext3 zeros out the block pointers of inodes for deleted files, but the blocks themselves are unaffected, yes?

Maybe you want to add .1 to the end of the file name, and if that hard link already exists add .2 instead? Each time you increment the number, first compare the content to the actual file, and if it's identical you already have a backup so you don't have to do anything.

Communications link test system (BER measurement)

I am currently brainstorming ideas on how to create a bit error rate (BER) measurement system across an ethernet communications link. What I have been thinking of doing is, using shift registers and some logic gates to create a pseudo-random bit sequence on the transmitting side. This sequence will then be sent across the ethernet via UDP (not TCP since I want errors to occur at other end), and received and compared with a locally generated PRBS. I just wanted to know what kind of difficulties might I face (such as synchronization issues, protocol issues, feasibility, etc.) and if there may be a better method to accomplishing such a test system from someone who may have had experience with this. The point of this is to test a wireless 802.11a/g network injected w/ noise. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

As I can see from the datasheet of 5673:", NI PXIe-5450 is capable of producing more than 100 MHz of RF bandwidth". For the frequecy,I think it should be able to generate two-tones 900MHz with 5MHz spacing.Is it? But I am not quite sure about the Intermodulation Distortion (IMD3) of the PXIe-5673's signal if we generate it in this case. Do you have any information I can refer to?
It will be highly appreciated if you can give some suggestions on it.

Clicking links opens system preferences

Clicking on any link in a received e-mail (commercial or personally sent) results in system preferences opening instead of safari. I have repaired permissions, rebooted and I ran onyx . Safari is default browser. Anyone else with this issue?

What if you select Safari as the default web browser by choosing the "Other..." option and locating the application manually? Maybe the choice in the popup menu doesn't work.
Does it use Firefox when it's set to the default browser?

Clicking on a hyperlink in message will not result in browser (Chrome) going to that link. System says Google Chrome is default browser.

I tried a couple of the steps suggested by the system but none worked. Some of the others seem complex for a novice hoping to avoid creating other problems.
Just to note, if browser displays web site content which includes a hyperlink, clicking the link will go to that web site, so problem is confined to T'bird-displayed hyperlinks only.

Thanks, I tried a few of those suggestions and none worked. I have to say I'm surprised by the apparent amount of effort it would take to resolve this, especially for a novice, and worry about the potential to further muck up things trying to get a solution. Another surprise is that the program is apparently susceptible to a fault like this creeping in and taking up residence.

Currently it's opening a new window of my Air Application,
which isn't fun at all.

Linking the system status to user status.

Dear all,
In the customising we have the provision of creating user profile. My requirement is if the system status is having a certain value like ESTO - in the equipment master then this should automatically set the defined user staus and prevent user from modifing the record (equipment master) and when the system staus is changed as AVLB, then the user status should also change and permit user to modify the record.
Experts help is expected.
Can anyone suggest any method of adopting the same - is there any settings for this.

I was able to get the statuses in a table , and as theer are more than one entry fo each of teh WBS so I need to concatenate the systme statuses together and user statuses togerher and finally concatenate the user status and system staus togehter in one field .
SO like fo system status I ahve 3 entreis , I need to concatenate them into one . But somehow when I loop and try concatenating them only the last entry is registeredd and similary for the user status too . Is there a= way I can concatenate so all teh three entries show in like a string
Right now the system status are AVEC, CTRD, SYST in my internal table as three values , how do i concatenate them into one string?
