Link to compile online?

Hi,
is there a way to compile a java sourcecode online? I mean using a compiler on a server? I want to do this because Im using a PC where I may use the internet, but I may not install anything. And since java is OS-independent it should be possible to compile online, right? I mean one does only compile for the VM and not for an OS, right?
any links appreciated
thanx
Steffen

yes, but there is always some kind of VM on every new
Windows-computer, right? he he...
well no - I think Sun has done some deals with computer manufacturers (eg. Dell) to ship java on their PC's - they originally won a courtcase to have Microsoft have to include java as part of windows distributions (I think) but this was overturned on appeal.
but its only a ~8MB download these days I think and there is the non-tecchie friendly www.java.com to help
there is an online compiler here - i've no idea if its any good

If you don't want to download the whole SDK you can just download jikes which is much smaller

    I need a link to buy online battery for Mac Book Pro 15" late 2008. Can't find this battery in the Apple Store...Battery: Model No. A1281 10.8 V 50 Wh.

    The only place that you can get an Apple battery is from Apple.  All of the counterfeiter's will claim that they have an OEM battery for the simple reason so that they can fool you in purchasing from them.
    At least from OWC you know exactly what you will be purchasing and they have a one year warranty.  I have purchased two from them, one for my 2006 MBP and one for my 2010 MBP.
    Ciao.

    No that's not possible with iCloud, however there are ways of sharing photos, but first could you confirm your OS, iCloud doesn't work with OS X 10.4

    i guess the portnumber also shouldn't be in the link.

    Hi,
    I am receiving no problem with these links. The port number is correct. The link recommends IE 5.5. Check your browser. It could have also been a temporary problem. Try again.

  • How to create executable jar in eclipse using linking in compiler

    Hi,
    I have a project in Eclipse. I wrote already an ant build file for creating an executable jar which includes all project files.
    Now I want to create a second executable jar which is a subset of the project (a limited number of classes are necessary).
    I have a main class and I was looking for a way to generate a jar file which includes the main class and all the depending classes.
    Is there a way to do it? With ant or with another tool?
    Is it possible to compile a project given a main class, and include all depending classes?
    Regards,
    Biebel

    Some more information:
    When I compile all the classes, the jar file is +/- 3.5Mb inclusive the server side logic.
    The subproject I want to build, should be less then 1Mb (Only some screens and beans, no business logic ((only +/- 10% of the projects code) )).
    My question is: How can I create a executable jar with only the necessary class files which depends on the main class. (Linked with the imports).
    Is there a tool to do that? Can it be done with an ANT script? If so, how does the script looks?
    What are you talking about?
    You already said that you are using Ant.
    Ant uses script files.
    Since you have one with X items in it and you want something new with X-Y items in it the obviously it would make sense to construct an ant script that does less than the other ant script.
    The following provides a huge amount of information about Ant.
    [http://ant.apache.org/resources.html]
    Other than that no one can tell you want your Ant script will look like except that it will do less than the one that you already have.

  • Firefox crashes when hitting certain links from my online banking page. the signature ID for my crash report is:memcpy | netssort.dll@0x2aef

    Firefox is running fine on most all pages. But when I am logged into my online banking page and try to go to certain links, firefox will crash. I have run a scan with antivir virus protection and made sure I have the most recent firefox browser. Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you for clearing that up. I have another idea. There is a feature called accelerated scrolling in Firefox, however there are also modules that might be associated with malware. Options > Advanced > General > Smooth scrolling (uncheck this to test)
    Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.
    You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:
    * [http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/default.aspx Microsoft Safety Scanner]
    * [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free/ MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware]

    * [http://www.surfright.nl/en/hitmanpro/ Hitman Pro]
    * [http://www.eset.com/us/online-scanner/ ESET Online Scanner]
    [http://windows.microsoft.com/MSE Microsoft Security Essentials] is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one. Windows 8 has antivirus [http://www.microsoft.com/security/pc-security/windows8.aspx#antivirus built-in] already.
    Further information can be found in the [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware]] article.

    All these symbols are not defined in libclntsh.so and also does not exist in libnnz10.so.
    I checked 32bit version of libnnz10.so has all above undefined symbols. This looks really weird to me why 64 bit version of libnnz10.so doesn't define these symbols.
    Let me know if you have any idea.

  • Linking Error Compiling OCI Demos with Visual C++

    First let me say that I am new to using Visual C++. But my problem is that I am getting a Linking Error when compiling cdemo81.c. The error I get is as follows:
    Linking ...
    cdemo81.obj: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _OCITransCommit
    cdemo81.obj: error LNK2001: ...
    Debug/cdemo81.exe: fatal error LNK 1120: 14 unresolved externals
    Error executing link.exe
    I think that the problem is that I am not linking in the OCI executable files correctly. So if someone could help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

    Do you link oci.lib? Thats the only lib file you need actially.
    If you are using MS VC++, you can add lib path from Tools>Options>Directories.Choose "Library files" from "Show directories for" dropdown list, adn then add you ora.lib path (usually $ORAHOME\oci\lib\).
    You also need to add oci.lib in the project settings in the Object/library modules filed of Link tab. Do not forget to add oci.lib for both Debug end Release settings.
    Cheers,
    Tolkun.

    What compiler version are you using(Please use 'CC -V' to find it out)?
    Please try to install patch 108434(http://sunsolve.sun.com/pub-cgi/getpatch.pl) to see whether the problem goes away.

  • Linking problems compiling Lua shared library (nixio)

    I am trying to create a PKGBUILD for nixio (see http://dev.luci.freifunk-halle.net/nixio/doc/). I am using this PKGBUILD:
    pkgname=nixio
    pkgver=0.3
    pkgrel=1
    pkgdesc="System, networking and I/O library for Lua"
    arch=('i686' 'x86_64')
    url="http://luci.subsignal.org/"
    license=('APACHE')
    depends=('lua>=5.1' 'openssl')
    makedepends=()
    optdepends=()
    provides=()
    options=('docs')
    source=(http://dev.luci.freifunk-halle.net/nixio/nixio-0.3.tar.bz2)
    md5sums=('7fa6a989cd2644347d969cb6e3a5c186')
    build() {
    cd "$srcdir/$pkgname-$pkgver"
    make LUA_MODULEDIR=/usr/share/lua/5.1 LUA_LIBRARYDIR=/usr/lib/lua/5.1
    package() {
    cd "$srcdir/$pkgname-$pkgver"
    cp -R dist/* $pkgdir
    (The package contents are rather irregular.) When building, it produces this output:
    ==> Starting build()...
    mkdir -p dist/usr/share/lua/5.1
    cp -pR lua/* dist/usr/share/lua/5.1 2>/dev/null || true
    for i in $(find dist -name .svn); do rm -rf $i || true; done
    gcc -O2 --std=gnu99 -Wall -Werror -pedantic -fPIC -c -o src/nixio.o src/nixio.c
    gcc -O2 --std=gnu99 -Wall -Werror -pedantic -fPIC -c -o src/socket.o src/socket.c
    gcc -O2 --std=gnu99 -Wall -Werror -pedantic -fPIC -c -o src/sockopt.o src/sockopt.c
    # 15 more pretty much identical object code files...
    gcc -Wl,--hash-style=gnu -Wl,--as-needed -shared -lcrypt -lssl -o src/nixio.so src/nixio.o src/socket.o src/sockopt.o src/bind.o src/address.o src/poll.o src/io.o src/file.o src/splice.o src/process.o src/syslog.o src/bit.o src/binary.o src/fs.o src/user.o src/tls-crypto.o src/tls-context.o src/tls-socket.o
    mkdir -p dist/usr/lib/lua/5.1
    cp src/nixio.so dist/usr/lib/lua/5.1/nixio.so
    The package seems to build fine, although namcap produces these warnings:
    nixio W: Dependency included and not needed ('lua')
    nixio W: Dependency included and not needed ('openssl')
    But when I install it and launch Lua:
    Lua 5.1.4 Copyright (C) 1994-2008 Lua.org, PUC-Rio
    > require 'nixio'
    error loading module 'nixio' from file '/usr/lib/lua/5.1/nixio.so':
    /usr/lib/lua/5.1/nixio.so: undefined symbol: MD5_Init
    stack traceback:
    [C]: ?
    [C]: in function 'require'
    stdin:1: in main chunk
    [C]: ?
    Doing some research, I found that MD5_Init is part of the OpenSSL library (which nixio uses for its cryptographic functions), and that "undefined symbol" errors are indicative of a program compiling and linking properly, but not being able to load a shared library at runtime. However, OpenSSL is installed properly and libssl.so is in my /usr/lib.
    What should I do to fix this error? It builds properly when installed using LuaRocks. I tried adding various flags from the rockspec (run "luarocks download nixio" and "luarocks unpack nixio-0.3-1.src.rock" to look at it) but still can't get it to work.

    You probably did not install the required C++ shared library patches on the system where you are running the compiler. On Solaris 9 for SPARC, Studio 11 requires patches 111711-12 and 111712-12. Studio 11 also requires other patches, which are in the installation image.
    You can find out what shared library version you have by running these commands:
    version /usr/lib/libCstd.so.1
    version /usr/lib/sparcv9/libCstd.so.1
    If the patch versions are not -12 or later, run the Studio 11 installer again, and this time have it install the Solaris patches (but nothing else).

  • Sharing link; viewing responses online

    Is it possible to create a form in Acrobat Pro and distribute it through Acrobat.com and view the responses online?
    I want to create a referral form for a medical office. I want the doctor's office to use a link at Acrobat.com to download the form and then submit the form.
    The medical office personnel need to be able to access the responses, but they do not have access to Adobe Acrobat Pro or the "response" file created with the distribution.

    Hello,
    Thanks for posting. Unfortunately, the only way to distribute and receive responses for a form is with Acrobat desktop software. Acrobat.com serves as the distribution and data collection mechanism, but all responses have to be tracked with Adobe Acrobat.
    We are constantly trying to enhance the capabilities of Acrobat.com, and you can help us by adding your request to our Ideas page (http://ideas.acrobat.com), where you can post ideas and comment on or rate those that others have posted. We actively cull from this site to learn about what users most want to see in the service; I recommend posting your idea there.

  • Remove/hide "new item or edit this list" link of sharepoint online (office 365) with csom

    as title, I delevelop an app for sharepoint online, so I must use client api to operate sharepoint object. now, i need to remove/hide the link “new item or edit this list”, not use js do it, what can i do? help!!

    Hi,
    Per my understanding, you might want to remove the link “new item or edit this list” of a list view web part using Client Object Model.
    As there is no such property in
    WebPart object can be used to hide/remove the link, I suggest you apply custom CSS style to the page which contains the list view
    web part to hide it.

  • Linker problem compiling static binary

    Hi,
    I am trying to produce a statically linked binary of an app. I have written, but I get the following error message when I use -static in CFLAGS:
    /usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lgtk-x11-2.0
    collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
    make: *** [xnec2c] Error 1
    The library seems to be there:
    5b4az src # locate gtk-x11-2.0
    /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0
    /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so
    /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0.800.6
    This is using arch 0.7. I installed arch 0.7.1 on my second hard disk but have the same problem. The app. compiles and runs if -static is not used in CFLAGS.
    My thanks in advance for any hints!

    phrakture wrote:Umm in order to statically linked, you need a static library - not a "so" which stands for "shared object" - you're looking for libgtk-x11-2.0.a

  • Where/How do I copy the link to the online web form?

    Hi there,
    I am a total beginner with FormsCentral. Here is my situation:
    I have registered for a trial which, in theory, grants 1 online form.
    I have imported a PDF template into FormsCentral's desktop tool. Then I have saved the new form. As a result, the form now appears in the list with a "cloud" symbol. Also I can see that my "online form credit" is now down to zero.
    I'd be grateful for any guidance on how to find/copy the online form's URL, or navigate to it.
    Success with this seemingly simple step will determine whether I ugrade to the next Plan (and whether I encourage colleagues in a 1000+ employee organization to also use FormsCentral).
    Many thanks,
    Eric

    In other words: Is is possible to import a fillable PDF document into FormsCentral, and publish it as an online form (the same way as for a form designed afresh from FormsCentral desktop tool)?
