Linkage Error using Entity Resolver

Hello,
I'm working on a project that requires the use of an alternate JAXP
parser implementation than what comes default with weblogic 6.1 (I'm
using crimson). However, I'm getting a LinkageError when I try to use
my code. The same code that gets this error is working fine on Weblogic
5.1 (see exception below).
It appears that there is some problem with the classloader hierarchy
from what I can tell. I've tried defining a new XML service via the WL
GUI with specific entries for my entities and have mapped these settings
to my server, all to no avail.
The problem appears to be appearing when I load my custom Entity
Resolver which uses my own caching mechanism. For my own sanity, I do
not want to be tightly coupled to the entity caching mechanism in WL 6.1
and like I said this worked fine on 5.1. It appears that the
LinkageException is complaining that the version of EntityResolver
interface compiled against my class is not compatible with runtime
version available.

I'm really frustrated by this one. I've lost nearly 2 days trying to
figure this one out. Any help would be appreciated.
What I've tried:
Adding custom JAXP classes to WL GUI and linking to server.
Adding custom JAXP classes per entity and linknig to server.
Mucking around with class paths, etc.
Adding PreferWebInfClasses="true" to config.xml so my libraries would be
used before system libraries.
Thanks for any help,
Dan Flynn

Ok, this could be an issue with start-up options being different with Sun Hotspot and BEA JRockit. When the server running JRockit is started, it usually prints its command line, could you try to capture it and post it into this news thread? Also specify which version of JRockit you are using (you could specify -showversion on the command line paste the output in this thread).
Kind regards,

  • Linkage Error Looking up EJB from BPEL (11g)

    I am using 11g TP3.
    I have a BPEL process that is using WSIF to call a plain java class. Then from this class I am attempting to lookup an EJB in another application (but on the same server).
    My code looks like this...
    env.put( Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, "oracle.j2ee.rmi.RMIInitialContextFactory" );
    env.put( Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, "fmwadmin" );
    env.put( Context.SECURITY_CREDENTIALS, "welcome" );

    javax.naming.InitialContext ctx =
    new javax.naming.InitialContext(env);
    Object obj = ctx.lookup("DisConfigManager");
    I get a Linkage error on the lookup stating it "violates loader constraints" on class com/evermind/server/rmi/RMIClientConnection

    I was mistaken in this posting. I was able to access the EJB from the startup class so there must be something else that I am doing to cause this problem. I'd still like to know why I get those invalid guid errors though.
    By the way, please forgive me for using the gender-specific gentlemen in my posting. That was accidental.

  • Session closed due to Error: Could not Resolve hos...

    Hi,
    I''m trying to sort out connection issues for my auntie. She has a BT Homehub 5 with the latest firmware.
    However, she is suffering from reboots and lost connections all the time. I have reviewed the log files and it is full of the following messages:
    74.270000 CWMP Session closed due to error: Could not resolve host
    Any ideas as i am stumped. Its a fairly recent installation ( 4 months or so) and she has only recently started to use the Wifi. It was ok when wired.
    Simon

    If it is DEFINITELY a wireless problem only, then download InSSider and run the program. This will tell you if you have are using a congested wifi channel.......
    You can then go into the settings and after picking a less congested channel, turn off the "smart wireless" setting.....
    Although the wireless problem wouldn't cause the rebooting problem......
    If you found this post helpful, then please click the star on the left, after all, I'm only trying to help........

    Is ConnectionPool in this "cal" package as well as PooledConnection? From the directory you are compiling from it appears that it is. If it is, then you are compiling it incorrectly. To compile ConnectionPool (and PooledConnection similarly), you must change the current directory to the one that contains cal and type
    javac cal/ConnectionPool.

  • Linkage error while doing java mapping

    Hi,
    I Have written a java mapping but when i use it in xi.It is showing an error as linkage error
    LinkageError at JavaMapping.load(): Could not load class: com/satyam/nestle/JavaMap
    Can anyone explain what does this mean and how to overcome it.
    Thanks in advance,
    Bhargav

    Did you try testing the java mapping seperately....that it does not have any errors??? Also check the cahce update. Sometimes it happens that XI is not able to load the class file from the cache. Perform a CPA cache refresh (delta). This should solve the problem

    4.Imported into SAP PO system as Imported Archive
    5.Could not observe the JSON jar file which i used as referenced JAR in NWDS
    6.Tested in OM after referencing the JAVA class and found the above error.
    I have JDK 5, 6 and 7 present in my local desktop and I am trying to export the compiled code using both JAVA SE 1.6 and 1.5 in NWDS seperatly after going several discussions.
    Can any one hep me with the screenshots and tell me how to include all the reference jar files in exported project..
    Regards..

    Dear Anand,
    I did exactly as you shared. As the JSON jar has number of classes, then in OM all the Classes had to be assigned. Then the linkage error went.
    But in execution , it shows a new error that all the classes of the JSON jar has to be implemented with interface StremTransformation or AbstractTransformation.
    I assume in the Operation Mapping I will use only 1 class as JAVA Class. Anyway I am attaching the document with navigation.
    Do we have any other alternative??

  • LINKAGE ERROR in Java Mapping

    Hi Friends,
    I am getting LINKAGE ERROR when executing JAVA mapping as its not able to reference AbstractTransform class provided by SAP PI API.
    This problem occurs in particular environment for this particular mapping. For other environments this is working fine.
    I assume it has something to do with Java Library reference which is mis-configured during transport. Can anyone let me know how and where the library path is configured for Imported Achieves in SAP PI 7.1.
    We are using java 1.5 for building and creating java achieves.
    Many thanks,
    SK

    Hi Sumant,
      This error occurs when the jdk version of XI server and the library version you used to develop the mapping are incompatible. Make sure you use the same version as of the server
    have a look in SAP Note 755302

  • Error: Could not resolve s:SolidColor to a component implementation

    So I have a library project and in that project I have a CustomDataGridBackgroundSkin file which is as follows:

    I am simply trying to get an ant task to compile this library to SWC, but I am getting a " Error: Could not resolve <s:SolidColor> to a component implementation" error during compile.  The only way to fix it is to add these lines of code (bold).

    I can also get this error to go away if I put this line in my build.xml file: "<include-sources dir="${src.dir}" includes="*"/>"
    But then I get this error => "[compc] Error: Unsupported file type: C:\dev_projects\features\flex4version\web\OneVoice\src\components.xml"
    components.xml is my manifest file.
    Anyone know what the issue is?  Why would I need the xmlns:spark="mx.graphics.*" namespace when I have xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"?

         dynamic public class FlashUploader extends Application
    Then in my main application mxml file I use it like so ...
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <c:FlashUploader xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"
        xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"
        xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx"
        xmlns:v="com.uploader.view"
        xmlns:c="com.uploader.controllers.*"
        minWidth="709" minHeight="400"
        skinClass="com.uploader.skins.UploaderApplicationSkin">
        <fx:Style source="styles.css" />
        <!-- states -->
        <s:states>
            <s:State name="default" />
            <s:State name="startup" />
            <s:State name="uploading" />
            <s:State name="normal" />
        </s:states>
    </c:FlashUploader>
    Now when I try to compile I get the states error. I've found several examples and even made a dummy app just using the spark application and it compiles fine. Not sure if I'm doing anything weird here but the few other flex devs I know don't seem to see anything wrong with what I'm doing that could cause this.

    When you define an object using a namespace you have to use the same namespace for its properties, so you will want to use "<c:states>" instead of "<s:states>" in this case.

  • Linkage Error while setting up webApp

              Hi,
              In my webApp I bumped into following Exception while running JSPs which queries
              database.
              Platform : Windows NT 4, webLogic 5.1 with SP 8.
              Action : WLSServer crashes with Dr. Watson application error.
              I am using a custom Connect.java class ( through javax.sql.DataSource, as recommended
              by WLS 5.1 docs ) to connect to Oracle database using JDBC thin client. If I do
              not use webApp architecture then the same class works good to connect to DB.
              Also, if I maintain identical class hierachy into my weblogic.class.path classpath
              settings I do not get this exception and everything works fine.
              I read into this search group messages about Linkage problems caused because of
              having duplicate classes available to the server at runtime and so I ensured that
              I do not keep classpaths which can cause duplicate classes into runtime environment
              of wlsserver but still the same problem persists.
              any help is appreciated,
              thanks,
              - Rajesh.

              make sure the paths. May be, the script that you use, define the class in

  • How to handle "The specified resource does not exist" exception while using entity group transactions to purge WADLogs table

    Hi,
    We have a requirement to purge the Azure WADLogs table on a periodic basis. We are achieving this by using Entity group transactions to delete the
    records older than 15 days. The logic is like this.
    bool recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured = false;
    CloudTable wadLogsTable = tableClient.GetTableReference(WADLogsTableName);
    partitionKey = "0" + DateTime.UtcNow.AddDays(noOfDays).Ticks;
    TableQuery<WadLogsEntity> buildQuery = new TableQuery<WadLogsEntity>().Where(
    TableQuery.GenerateFilterCondition("PartitionKey",
    QueryComparisons.LessThanOrEqual, partitionKey));
    while (!recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured)
    IEnumerable<WadLogsEntity> result = wadLogsTable.ExecuteQuery(buildQuery).Take(1000);
    //// Batch entity delete.
    if (result != null && result.Count() > 0)
    Dictionary<string, TableBatchOperation> batches = new Dictionary<string, TableBatchOperation>();
    foreach (var entity in result)
    TableOperation tableOperation = TableOperation.Delete(entity);
    if (!batches.ContainsKey(entity.PartitionKey))
    batches.Add(entity.PartitionKey, new TableBatchOperation());
    // A Batch Operation allows a maximum 100 entities in the batch which must share the same PartitionKey.
    if (batches[entity.PartitionKey].Count < 100)
    batches[entity.PartitionKey].Add(tableOperation);
    // Execute batches.
    foreach (var batch in batches.Values)
    try
    await wadLogsTable.ExecuteBatchAsync(batch);
    catch (Exception exception)
    // Log exception here.
    // Set flag.
    if (exception.Message.Contains(ResourceDoesNotExist))
    recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured = true;
    break;
    else
    break;
    My questions are:
    Is this an efficient way to purge the WADLogs table? If not, what can make this better?
    Is this the correct way to handle the "Specified resource does not exist exception"? If not, how can I make this better?
    Would this logic fail in any particular case?
    How would this approach change if this code is in a worker which has multiple instances deployed?
    I have come up with this code by referencing the solution given
    here by Keith Murray.

    Hi Nikhil,
    Thanks for your posting!
    I tested your and Keith's code on my side, every thing worked fine. And when result is null or "result.count()<0", the While() loop is break. I found you code had some logic to handle the error "ResourceDoesNotExist" .
    It seems that the code worked fine. If you always occurred this error, I suggest you could debug your code and find which line of code throw the exception.
    >> Is this an efficient way to purge the WADLogs table? If not, what can make this better?
    Base on my experience, we could use code (like the above logic code) and using the third party tool to delete the entities manually. In my opinion, I think the code is every efficient, it could be auto-run and save our workload.
     >>Is this the correct way to handle the "Specified resource does not exist exception"? If not, how can I make this better?
    In you code, you used the "recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured " as a flag to check whether the entity is null. It is a good choice. I had tried to deleted the log table entities, but I used the flag to check the result number.
    For example, I planed the query result count is 100, if the number is lower than 100, I will set the flag as false, and break the while loop.
    >>Would this logic fail in any particular case?
    I think it shouldn't fail. But if the result is "0", your while loop will always run. It will never stop. I think you could add "recordDoesNotExistExceptionOccured
    = true;" into your "else" block.
    >>How would this approach change if this code is in a worker which has multiple instances deployed?
    You don't change anything expect the "else" block. It would work fine on the worker role.
    If any question about this issue, please let me know free.

    The error I'm reffering to might clearify the fact that I'm new at Java/javaCard-development.
    To learn how it all works I've downloaded an example and try to understand what happens.
    I opened the source in Eclipse and get errors "Cannot be resolved to a type" on OwnerPIN, ADPU and ISO7816 classes. I have an Import javacard.framework statement and expected these types to be part of this library.
    I guess I'm forgetting something somewhere but couldn't find the soluiton on internet.

    Hi,
    What you need to do update your Java build path fr the project in your Eclipse project.
    Project -> Properties then find Java Build Path.
    In the Libraries tab add the {JCDK Home}/lib/javacardframework.jar by clicking the add external JARs button. You may also want to remove the standard Java Runtime (JRE) libraries as you do not build against these.
    If you want to use the JC 2.2.1 CAP file converter, you may also want to ensure that the Eclipse compiler is set to compile as Java 1.3 in the Java Compiler section of the project properties.
    KeesdeVink wrote:
    import javacard.framework.*; // import all neccessary packages for java card

    It also looks like you have added two imports you don't actually want. You only need the javacard.framework.* import.
