Linking between to costum components

Hi everyone!
I've just started using flash catalyst a couple of days ago and I am loving every minute of it, but I have found a problem that I couldn't find a solution for by googling (never happened to me before!)
So, I'm a wedding album designer and I'm trying to make kind of a gallery portfolio thing, in which there are groups, thumbnails and large images. Here's a screen print:
So on the left is the categories. When you click a category it opens the matching gallery with thumbnails and when you click a thumbnail the large images open. So far so good.
Now, I have more than 20 images to display on each category, so what I've done is I've split the categories in half, so I have for instance two states: 'Category1Part1' and 'Category1Part2'. on each state I've created a costum component which is the large image and every state is a different image. When you click the arrows on the sides you get to the next photo/state, and halfway through the arrow links you to 'Category1Part2' and then keeps linking you to the next states in that part.
Now, so far so good, but I hit a wall when I finally got to linking the thumbnails. Theoretically every thumbnail has to link to the substate it belongs to, but I want all thumbnails both on 'Category1Part1' and 'Category1Part2' so that people can browse through - But when I try adding an interaction of 'onclick' etc. I couldn't see the substates from the other part (for instance when I'm trying to link a thumbnail in 'Part1' to a state in 'Part 2'.
I guess there aren't any magical solutions but maybe a creative way around it? I've tried some stuff but nothing really works.

From my experience so far using catalyst, it seems that components bascially work like a hiearchy, or parent/child relationship. So basically Category1, and Category2 are two separate parents or components, and you are trying to link them to separate childs. The only way I could see it working is if you put both Categories, 1 and 2 on the same state/page. That way Part1 and Part2 can both link to them. I've done something similar which is why I say this, but you would have to put this into action to see if it really works...

While you are navigating from one component to the other, you may use plugs and pass a parameter through the plug. Read the parameter in the other component and change the property of the UI elements to read-only.

Goto the Project Properties for you project.
Select Profiles -> <Profile Name> -> Libraries
Check in the Selected list (to the right) if you have both BC4J Generic Domains and the BC4J Oracle Domains there. If so, remove the one not appropriate for your project.

Establishing Link between Order and Routing

When I am creating an order (e.g. production order from CO01) by default itu2019s getting Routing and BOM. I want to know from where my order is populating BOM and Routing?
I want to know how the link between Order and BOM and Order and Routing are established

If you want to see how the tables are linked you can see this in table CAUFV (order header). Fields PLNTY, PLNNR, & PLNAL define the task list type, group, and group counter. These can be used to look up the routing information in tables PLKO and PLPO. The BOM link is in field STLTY, STLST, & STLNR (bom category, status, and BOM). Use these values to find the the BOM details in tables STKO and STPO.
If you want to know how the system knows which BOM and routing to bring in, that is done in configuration under Order plant dependent parameters (t-code OPL8). Also, once the boms and routings are copied into the order you can make changes to the operations and components within the order. The operation and component details that are stored in the order can be found in tables AFVC and RESB.

Hierarchy link between configure material & configured material (VC Issue)

We have a configurable material A770 and we have a configured material ZA720
The configurable material A770 has 1500 components and these 1500 components has inturn has assemblies & subassemblies
Is there any way, we can find out the hierarchy link between configure material A770 & configured material ZA 720 i.e. we are not able to find parent material of ZA720
We tried looking into Tcode CS11 & CS15, it was not much help
Note: In CS03, when entered configured material ZA720 it display error message BOM can only be displayed via configurable material A770

Eaht Imunderstood from you is,
You have configarable material A770 and you have a semifished material ZA720 which has one of the material variant, if that is the case it will have its own std bom and routing.

the bill of material is stored in tables MAST and STKO and STPO
if you create a subcontract PO, then SAP is using the material number and searching for the bill of material is read and the needed components are copied into RESB table.
So in general the material number is the main link to the BOM.
If you have several BOMs and use alternative BOMs for subcontracting, then you find the BOM via production versions. this field is maintained in the info record.
But the BOM becomes always PO specific, as it is copied to the PO. A change in CS02 will not effect the open PO.
You can even create a subcontract PO without having a BoM in your system, you then enter the components manually in ME21N detail material tab. then these components are stored in RESB only.

Customs Inward processing - Link between Import and Export

Scenario in GTS 7.1: materials imported and finished products exported. Authorities want us to show how imports match the finished products exported.
How do we see the link between Import & Export and how to see the consumption of the goods (from Import into Sales).

Hi,
I would suggest that you migrate to SAP GTS 8.0 - because without that you have no standard functionality available for any Inward Processing. And in my eyes it makes no sense to build a custom made report for a functionality that is available in a standard SAP product.... ?!
Have a look at the online help - maybe that helps you to get a better understanding about the GTS 8.0 standard for Inward Processing...

In GTS 8.0 you have the functionality to report your imported components against exported products...

Link between Delivery and Sales Order Schedule Line

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement in which i need to display quantity and amount at schedule line level and also the delivery and delivery item for each schedule line.
For example, if there is a sales order O1 and item 10 for which we have 3 schedule lines and 3 deliveries as well say D1, D2 and D3.
Report should be something like this
Sales Order    Item   Schedule Line    Delivery    Del Item   Confirmed Order Qty
O1                 10      1                       D1           10            5
O1                 10       2                      D2            10            5
O1                 10       3                      D3            10            4
How can i determine that a particular delivery corresponds to which schedule line of that saler order-item?
We have the link between delivery and sales order but is there any way that we can get the link of delivery at schedule line level?

I suppose you must check with SD functional consultant and the post should also be in the logistics SD forum and not BI. But I suppose there is know specific link between the schedule line of SO to the Delivery. It is more like a bucket flow for ex.
Sale order   Item    Schedule line qty
SO1            Item1     Sch1            10
SO2            Item1      Sch2           10
Delivery Item QTy
DO1       IT1   15
DO2       IT1    5
In this case qty 15 is distributed over both SO1 and SO2, and SO2 ITem1 Sch2 has link to both the DOs
So I am not sure if you can establish a one to one link, please check with your SD consultants.

Is there a DIRECT link between SD schedule lines and delivery lines?

Is there a direct link (db table) between schedule lines on a sales order (VBEP) and the delivery lines (LIPS)?
Is there a function module to retrieve the data?
Example-
One order line with 3 schedule lines.
Each schedule line is for 2 units (total of 6 units).
Three deliveries made. 1st is for 2 units, 2nd is for 1 unit (backorder), 3rd is for 3 units.
You can use document flow (table VBFA) or examine the SD document in the delivery line (LIPS) and link the delivery line to the order line. The schedule line already references the order line.
I am using math to decrement the schedule lines used and make the link between VBEP and LIPS. It works fine. I need four records back....
1st schedule line for 2 units uses delivery 123
2nd schedule line for 1 unit (partial) uses delivery 124
2nd schedule line for 1 unit (partial) uses delivery 125
3rd schedule line for 2 units uses delivery 125
Like I said, it works. Just wondering if I missed a more direct link.

As far as Db link is concern , I dont remember exactly , but 3 years before I had written a report which see Sales order schedule lines and devilry note lines against sales order. If you see process wise. when ever you create PO ( production order you assign some qty using 101 movement type .. and against production order you also give sales order . When you do delivery ( run seclude run ) it delivers against that material number , its movement is 601 ...
but I remember theres a link between these tables, VBAP,VBFA AND VBEP , LIPS ... against every sales order you can see sales invoice ( VBRP,VBRK) and you can also see your delivery note number in document flow .
I hope thisll give you some guide line, as right now I can not tell you the exact business process but I remember I written a report in SD 4 years before , in which they required Delivery against production order and sales order ... One more thing you also have production order reference on delivery item number. ( field :Empst ) . I think in my project they were maintaining this field .

Change or delete the docflow link between two existing documents

Hi All,
Is there any FM or soulution to change the doc flow link between two documents .
For ex .. i have document A and document B , and created a doc flow link from A to B , Now i have to change the succeeding document to C
I have tried to modify the doc link ,but its not working using crm_order_maintain.I thought of deleting the link between A and B and then create a new link Between A and C , but deletion of link bewteen A and B is also not working.
I have checked with FMs CRM_DOC_FLOW_DELETE_CHECK_EC and CRM_DOC_FLOW_DELETE_EC, followed by CRM_ORDER_SAVE AND COMMIT . i could not find any exception from this FMs , but still the doc link is not deleted.
Pls share if you have any suggestions.

Link between Invoice and Payments

As I understand the link between the A/R Invoice table and the Incoming Payment table is OINV.ReceiptNum = ORCT.DocEntry. My question is when does the ReceiptNum field get filled in? We have many closed Invoices that have a payment linked (viewed by going to Applied Transactions when on the Invoice) but the ReceiptNum field is still NULL in the database. Shouldn't these invoices all have a linked payment if they are closed?

Hi Steven,
The reciptnum field is populated when the payment is created and the Invoice is a part of that payment. If you do a manual reconciliation this field is not populated.
Open the payments that you see in Applied transactions to see if the Invoices are in the rows.

One to One link between VBRP items and BSEG items

Hi All,
I am working on a program where I have to link between VBRP table items against BSEG table items.
But in BSEG, the invoice items are summarised based on Material Number, profit center etc..
Is there a way to divide them, like any other table which holds the data transferred to accounting from sales exactly as it is in the invoice tables (VBRP).
If there is no such table, can any one help me figure out a logic where I can didvide the items of BSEG table exactly like the items of table VBRP.
Any help or input will be very highly appreciated.

I alraedy have a relation between the Accounting Doc and Billing Doc (VBRP-vbeln to BSEG-belnr).
what I am looking for is the Item wise one to one mapping.
i.e Assume that we have 4 items in VBRP under one Billing Doc....
2 items have Similar Materials (Assume XYZ) and same Profit center (eq..MNO123)
and the Other 2 items have material (ABC) and Profit center (PQR6789).
Now these appear in Bseg as only 2 items, all the items with similar materials, profit center etc will be clubbed in Bseg (While Accounting). I.e In BSEG you will only find 2 entries for the above 4 items of VBRP.
I need to divide the data that I am getting from BSEG exactly as they are in VBRP.
Pls suggest if you know of any table where I can find this.....If not a table.., then a way to figure out the division of these BSEG items exactly as the VBRP items.

FAX Sending - Link between SOST items and PO Data

Hi all,
We have a message type to send FAX to the vendors.
This is tracked in SOST.
There are some FAXes which get failed and are to be tracked individually in SOST.
We need to make a report which gets all the failed PO #s.
We are not able to arrive at the db link between the items in SOST and the PO data.
Can anyone of you let us know how this can be done ?
