Links associated with a table of names/ids

Is there a better way to do this in faces?
My page has a table of names, I wish to associate a modify/delete actions with each one, allowing the user to just click say the modify link on one and end up in a page to modify that entry. I ended up generate the links as something like:

This seemed pretty clumsy to me, anybody got a better way?

I am struck with a problem while retrieving the Windows Credentials from WCF service.
1. I have used WSHttpBinding.
2. I have configured the Website and App pool to run under a specific user who is an Administrator for the server.
3. I have created the windows Credential of Generic type using Credential manager with the same user.
4. I configured the Website to allow only Anonymous and Windows Authentication in IIS (IIS Version: 8.5).
5. I tried the same code in the same server by logging into server with same user and debug the service. The service is returning the windows Credential requested.
6. But i am unable to retrieve the Windows Credentials from the same code when published in IIS in the same server.
i configure the Security in Server and client as below:

1.where you got stuck & receive error message whether in service side or client side ?
2.if its in service side, then I suggest you to enable tracing on wcf service for debugging purpose to findout the root cause.

Is there a way to access Time Machine files associated with an old user name?

My iMac was running super slow and there was a bunch of programs, etc. that I wanted to get rid of anyway so I thought I would do a "clean install" from my Snow Leopard disc. I moved items on my desktop to my Seagate external drive and then unplugged it. I have had Time Machine saving to it for a long time so I was confident I could just move a few items (pictures, music, etc.) back on to my hard drive when the install was completed. To my surprise, when I went to Time Machine I found the items I had moved from my desktop but no earlier versions of my other files.
In researching this issue a little bit, it appears that perhaps I created a new user name when I did the install and that my historical items are likely still on the Seagate but stored somewhere associated with my old user name. I understand that if I can change my user name back to the original that I may be able to access the items and transfer the items I want. To compound the situation, I have no idea what my old user name even was.
Does this make sense to Mac experts out there?
If so, is there a way to see the old user names and access the Time Machine files?
I've been avoiding telling my wife that I may have lost all our kid photos so I'm desperately hoping someone can help.

Another option would be to access to your backups manually. Open a Finder window, select the Time Machine drive in the sidebar and go to Backups.backupdb > your computer's name > one of the backups > your partition's name, and copy the data you want

Adding/removing many-to-many associations with intersection tables

Hello,
I am using Jdeveloper 11g with ADFBC.
I have some many to many associations in my application. For example User and Category are associated and there is an intersection entity (UserCategory - Columns are UserId, CategoryId) to save these associations.
What is the correct method for adding or removing categories assigned to user?

I found an example for Jdeveloper 10g, which is discussed [ADF] Adding/deleting entries in a many-to-many relationship
In that example, many-to-many association is defined as two 1-to-many associations. Actually i've been searching since last week for an example which is made with many-to-many associations but no help. I will change my Model structure if it is not an efficient way to define many-to-many associations with intersection tables.
I wonder if it is possible to write some methods like :
addCategoryToUser(String userId, String categoryId)
removeCategoryToUser(String userId, String categoryId)
addCategories(String userId, List categoryIds)
vs.
Of course i am able to do these by creating a new Row in UserCategoryView (Intersection view), setting it's attributes and saving. Or the opposite, finding the row in intersection table and deleting it.
For example:

The content of my add-ons, except Weatherbug, periodically disappear. I have to delete all cookies, restart compute and re-sign-in to Google and YahooMail. Everything is fine for a while and then the content of the add-ons goes away again. The links associated with the add-on remains at the top of the now content-vacant boxes and still work. This problem appears to have cropped-up after the last Firefox update.

Segmens associated with the table

in 10g R2 , in OEM grid (or DB control) how can I see the segmens associated with a table ?

What does it mean even by "segments associated with a table" ? If you had said extents, it would had made some sense but IMHO, what you said isn't an appropriate statement.
For GUI, either DBC or GC( both are same when you come to the Administration page), search for tables and that's all about it.

How to find all tables that are associated with a given domain name.

I want to find all table, excluding the structures, of a given domain name, say, waers.
Some of the tables are directly contains the domains while others are related with a data element which is connected to that domain.
I want to find tables for all two case -either tables connected directly to the domain or connected via data element- and exclude the structures.

The following thing may help you.
in se11-> search for tables having names like 'DD*'.
From this list of tables you can find the required table to get domain, data element nad table name.
one way of doing it:
SELECT rollname domname

INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE it_tab1

Sun java Creator, Table component vanishes when associating with the table

I am trying to develop JSF page with a table component and associating a table (users) to the table component.
I have created datasource and i can see the data in the SQL editor in Sun Java Creator.
But when i try to associate the table component with the table(users).
I table component vanishes.
I dont understand what is the problem.
Can anybody help me.

The default theme is localized. If you look at <Creator-install>/rave2.0/modules/ext/locale
you should see the localized default theme jars. Not sure which locale you are. You can put your localized jar here. Add the localized jar to your web application via library manager for it to be included in the deployed war file

     select trigger_name from all_trigger_cols
     where
          table_owner = 'DEMO' and

For insert triggers you can refer to all_triggers.

Hi Rupesh,
You have two tables in the Tables parameter. One is DATA_TAB where you have to provide the internal table name which data you want to download. Second one is Field Names where you can provide the column names for the internal table fields. Concatenate the column names in a string and pass it to Fields names table.

Link OID with existing tables

Is it possible to use existing tables to host some of the informations or do I have to create a new database from scratch for OID ?
If I have to create a new database how can I synchronize information from the LDAP directory and my tables ?

Let me try to answer these question one at a time.
Monique:
You do not need to create a new database to install OiD. You can use an existing databse but keep this in mind. The database must be a compatible version for OiD. For instance, if you are installing version 2.0.6 of OiD, then the database you install it on must be version 8.1.6
OiD will create its own schema of table and views. It will not use any exisiting ones that you have created. So the choice is yours. You can create a new database at the time you install OiD or use an existing one. I hope this answers your questions. If not post another.
Thank you Eddie for your "2 cents" on alternative ways of viewing data in our LDAP server. I want to emphasize a word you used and that word is "browse". Browsing the LDAP server with a SQL type of tool is ok but manipulation of the data should only be done with an approved tool. You wouldnt want to change information in OiD via SQL even though you can. Oracle wants you to treat OiD as if it was an LDAP server because thats what it is. So you should only use standard V2 and V3 LDAP protocol for changing any data. There are a number of 3rd party programs that you can also use to manipulate data in our LDAP server such as JNDI, Netscapes LDAP SDK, and of course Oracles own C, and PL/SQL LDAP API's.
The database user's that own all of the OiD schema objects are ODS and ODSCOMMON.
Last but not least Norzaimi:
Go to www.oracle.com On that website click on the search button and enter "Internet Directory" without the quotes. Leave off the word "Oracle". This should return you about a dozen articles with some very good information. Let me know if you are still unable to see this.

1. BW infoset is a join between two ODS, so, there is no table.
2. BW infoset is not the same than R/3 infoset. You won't find it in SQ02

Can submit buttons or links associated with post or get requests work on iPad's Adobe Reader?

I'm trying to call a JSPs from a PDF file using submit buttons and links created dynamically in a Java (iText) code.
All buttons and links work fine in my PC but no buttons or dynamically generated links work in my iPad (Adobe Reader 11.0.1).
Could anyone please let me know in case a workaround exists for this problem?

I know it is not supported. But I’m wondering whether a workaround solution was implemented somewhere. I’m sure people are trying to submit PDF’s data or even the full documents from their iPads without sending them as an e-Mail's attachement.
