  • Oject List Data Provider is not working

    I am having trouble using an Object List Data Provider.
    The Field Guide books says when I drop an Object List Data Provider,
    then select the list property, to bind it to a list, there is suppose to be an edit box to the right of the property that launches a pop up window.
    Instead I am getting an empty drop down list box, no pop up like I do get with an Object Data Provider.
    I can not even manually type in the list binding, it is frustrating.
    I have the loanBean example all set, with the loanBean showing in the outline ready for binding, but no way to bind it via the IDE.
    I tried adding the code the sets the binding, using the book example, but that does not help since the IDE still does not recognize my Object List Data Provider as a valid data source for the Table Display.
    I have been working through the Field Guide tutorials, following the instructions to the letter. I have had no problems, up till now, in chapter 8.
    I tried starting a new project from scratch, and I still have the same problem. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a known issue ?
    I have downloaded and installed all updates as of February 19th.

  • Why would only the first line of my data set txt file work?

    Hi -
    I had a lot of success using variables and external data sets until today.
    I have an external text file that I have imported as a data set (Image/Variables/Data Sets/Import...).  All of the variables have been defined and confirmed (at least PSD hasn't told me it can't find something which is the typical error msg.)
    This external text file, with the extension ".txt" has 12 lines on it, each line is 7 comma separated values, and each line is ending in a carriage return.
    YESTERDAY when I used File/Export/Export Data Set as Files... the procedure went beautifully for the 8 times I used it.  TODAY I only get the first of the 12 lines completed and then the export stops.  There are no error messages or other signs that Photoshop has choked on something so I guess something is wrong with my text file... BUT WHAT??
    Any insight on any step in this would be helpful.  You all know that if I'm using this feature it's because I have TONS of repetition ahead of me if it doesn't work.
    TIA your expertise,
    JL

    Fixed it!
    When Exporting as Data sets as files... the step I missed was to select "All Data Sets" from the Data Set drop down.
    Thanks all.

  • My spry data set isn't working

    So i followed like 5 to 6 tutorials on how to create a spry data set in dreamweaver, and I can't seem to get it to work.
    Here is the script, apparently line 11 has an error to it.

    Without seeing the actual error message and the contents of data01.html, it's impossible to offer any help.
    However, are you aware that Adobe stopped developing Spry nearly two years ago? See this announcement.

    I want to add panel component as my tooltip for each row in my Spark DataGrid. So when mouse rollover the user can see the information for each the ship. I want a panel as my tooltip for dataGrid cause I want to organize my data neatly and also place a image in the panel.

    Ok I was getting ready to post the renderer code and then found the problem. I had copied this code from another renderer which had contentBackgroundAlpha=0 in the MXAdvancedDataGridItemRenderer tag. When I removed it, the style of the TextArea worked as intended. Your comment helped me to take a closer look at the renderer code, so thank you.

  • Spry accordion - spry data thumbs don't work correct

    Hi,
    After a lot of good work and patience from Ben, the following issue has to be resolved.
    When opening the Tab, there comes a spry dataset, but when clicking on a thumb, it doesn't show the large image, but closes the AccordionContent.
    Can you help me?
    Thnx (again) a lot!
    Up to the final Holland - ......
    Carla

    Hi Carla,
    My apologies for the delay, I know how frustrating this can be. I was preoccupied with other calendar fulfillments.
    Step 1
    Remvove the code in red and add the code in green
    function myClickHandler(event) {
         var ele = Accordion1.getCurrentPanel();
         var panelNumber = Accordion1.getPanelIndex(ele);
         MM_effectAppearFade(document.getElementById('tab'+panelNumber), 1000, 100, 30, true);
         Accordion1.closePanel(panelNumber);
    function Content0ClickHandler(event) {
         var ele = Accordion1.getCurrentPanel();
         var panelNumber = Accordion1.getPanelIndex(ele);
             MM_effectAppearFade(document.getElementById('tab'+panelNumber), 1000, 100, 30, true);
             Accordion1.closePanel(panelNumber);
    function Content1ClickHandler(event) {
         var ele = Accordion1.getCurrentPanel();
         var panelNumber = Accordion1.getPanelIndex(ele);
             MM_effectAppearFade(document.getElementById('tab'+panelNumber), 1000, 100, 30, true);
             Accordion1.closePanel(panelNumber);
    function Content2ClickHandler(event) {
         var ele = Accordion1.getCurrentPanel();
         var panelNumber = Accordion1.getPanelIndex(ele);
             MM_effectAppearFade(document.getElementById('tab'+panelNumber), 1000, 100, 30, true);
             Accordion1.closePanel(panelNumber);
    Step 2
    Add the following ID's (green coloured) to each of the three contents changing the numbering (orange coloured) from 0 to 2 for each respective content
            <div spry:detailregion="dsqpark1" class="DetailContainer" id="content0">
              <div class="DetailColumn">{Foto_700_x_400}</div>
            </div>
    Step 3
    Remvove the code in red and add the code in green
    Spry.Utils.addEventListener("Accordion1", "click", myClickHandler,  false);
    Spry.Utils.addEventListener("content0", "click", Content0ClickHandler,  false);
    Spry.Utils.addEventListener("content1", "click", Content1ClickHandler,  false);
    Spry.Utils.addEventListener("content2", "click", Content2ClickHandler,  false);

  • Linear Fit using Bisquare method fails on certain data sets.

    I noticed some behavior that I didn't understand, so I thought I'd post it.  I'm using Linear Fit.vi in LabVIEW 8.2 to calculate a slope and offset.  This VI has a method input that accepts an enum.  When I select the "Bisquare" method on some data sets I get error -20104 (Analysis:  Input parameters have at least one NaN element).  I think that if some data sets don't work with certain algorithms, this should be mentioned in the help.  This took quite some time to track down.
    Here is an example of a data set that doesn't work with Linear Fit.
    X: Y:
    0.40336656 -4.04062388
    0.20171238 -2.01997989
    0.00072204 -0.00951483
    -0.20006598 1.99094268
    -0.39979904 3.99578023

    I can reproduce the problem.
    Interestingly, it works fine if you increase the tolerance input a little bit, e.g. to 0.0004 (from the default 0.0001). It also starts working if you change the data a little bit.
    Curious that it works on the Mac. There must be something pathalogical with this exact data set. Maybe it cause an unhandled division by zero in one of the iterations.

  • Help Working With Variable Data Sets (PS CS3)

    I have two different projects for which I believe the Variable Data Sets would / could work.
    Project 1:
    I have created a student badge for our TV Media class and I would like to be able to use a Variable Data Set to automatically read a data file with First and Last names and then place them in the locations of my choosing. I would like to be able to import the list and have it automatically create the 30 ID cards I need and/or print them too.
    Project 2:
    I have created a really nice looking school dance ticket. Currently they are about 1.5" x 6". I would like to be able to use a Variable Data Set to automatically add a couple of different pieces of information: Date, Ticket Number (sequential).
    In each case, I have been able to successfully create a data set and replace a single variable, but I have not been able to modify more than one variable in a file.
    Each text selection is on its own layer. I have tried to create a text file that looks like this:
    FName, LName
    Joe, Smith
    Barney, Jones
    Thalia, Chamoix
    I have also tried to create two different files, such as for project two:
    Date
    January 04
    February 12
    March 19
    Number
    1001
    1002
    1003
    No matter what I have tried, I still cannot seem to get more than one variable to function at a time.
    Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you!

    I don't hink Data Merge is sophisticated enough to skip a page if the entire record is null, but it will skip blank lines if there is a null field and nothing else on the line.

  • SQL Update a Single Row Multiple Times Using 2 Data Sets

    I'm working in tsql and have an issue where I need to do multiple updates to a single row based on multiple conditions.
    By Rank_
    If the column is NULL I need it to update no matter what the Rank is.
    If the Ranks are the same I need it to update in order of T2_ID.
    And I need it to use the last updated output.
    I've tried using the update statement below but it only does the first update and the rest are ignored. Here is an example of the data sets i'm working w/ and the Desired results. Thanks in advance!
    update a
    set Middle = case when a.Rank_> b.Rank_ OR a.Middle IS NULL then ISNULL(b.Middle,a.Middle) end,
    LName = case when a.Rank_> b.Rank_ OR a.Lname IS NULL then ISNULL(b.LName,a.LName) end,
    Rank_ = case when a.Rank_> b.Rank_ then b.Rank_ end
    from #temp1 a
    inner join #temp2 b on a.fname = b.fname
    where b.T2_ID in (select top 100% T2_ID from #temp2 order by T2_ID asc)

    The Merge clause actually errors because it attempt to update the same record.  I think this CTE statement is the closest I've come but I'm still working through it as I'm not too familiar w/ them.  It returns multiple rows which I will have to
    insert into a temp table to update since the resulting row I need is the last in the table.

  • Multiple Filtering of Nested Data Set Spry

    Hi,
    I am trying to use multiple filters on a nested data set using Spry but it does not work, no matter how many times I've re-read the code and verified that I'm using the code the right way. What is going on?
    When I use a single non-destructive filter (ie... ds.filter()) on the nested data set, the filter works beautifully. However, when I want to use multiple filters (I use ds.addFilter()), it looks like my filter function (FilterByState) is not being kicked off.
    I linked to the appropriate files, SpryData.js, xpath.js, SpryNestedXMLDataSet.js and SpryDataExtensions.js. These are the latest version, 1.6.1.
    Why will ds.filter work and not ds.addFilter? I haven't written the second filter code yet because this is stopping me from moving forward. Even though, I haven't written that, shouldn't addFilter work too?
    Please help, this is driving me crazy.

    Hi Marlene,
    It isn't working right because you have a bug in your
    onchange attribute for your select:
    <select id="test"
    onChange="ds1.setCurrentRow(this.selectedIndex);">
    <option spry:repeat="ds1"
    id="{ds_RowID}">{@id}</option>
    </select>
    setCurrentRow() takes a rowID not a rowNumber. The
    "selectedIndex" of the select element is the equivalent of a row
    number, so if you want to change the current row by row number then
    use setCurrentRowNumber() instead:
    <select id="test"
    onChange="ds1.setCurrentRowNumber(this.selectedIndex);">
    <option spry:repeat="ds1"
    id="{ds_RowID}">{@id}</option>
    </select>
    After you make that change, you will see that things work as
    expected.

  • Choose Date Component do not work in Internet Explorer 7

    Hello everybody.
    I have developped a Form with ADF using a Choose Date Component.
    In Firefox everything is working fine. But in Internet Explorer 7 the Calendar of the Choose Date Component don't work
    IE has following error message:
    Line: 5378
    Char: 2
    Error: Element not found
    Code: 0

    You didn't mention which JDeveloper version you are using. Assuming it is 11 can you try the component demo from here and see if it works:

  • List Builder only shows 1 data set at a time

    Am attempting to get a list builder to display multiple data sets but am hitting a wall.  When a 1st data set is selected then all OK.  Add 2nd data set and update list and only 1st is shown.  Remove 1st and update and data is refreshed to 2nd list.  Add 3rd and repeats itself and so on.  Looks like all OK based on the sample but built from scratch and think missing something simple in the destination range (although appears fine).  thoughts?

    Can you describe this in more detail?
    How are your datasets defined in your excel model and how are your target cells formatted?
    How are you trying to display the two resultsets in list builder in the first place?  The cell range has to be contiguous for list builder to work.

  • All the message dates in the message list changed in every mailbox to a recent date, I don't know why.. The dates within the messages' headlines themselves remained correct.  How do I re-establish the correct dates also in the mailboxes' message list?

    First thing is to forget all the complex configs and just try to schedule the report to run once now, no alerts, no notifications, no nothing.
    Does that work?
    Then you can build up the schedule, to see where the problem is coming from.
