List in a dialog box

I would simply like to write a simple list in a dialog box using WINDOW. Seems pretty stright forward, but mine doesn't work. I don't want to define a gui status, as I want the code portable. So here is what I did:
        SET PF-STATUS 'STDPOPUP' OF PROGRAM 'SAPLSALV'.
        WINDOW STARTING AT 1 1 ENDING AT 10 10.
        WRITE: /1 p_tab-low,
                20 g_lines.
Can someone tell me why this doesn't work?
I also tried POPUP_WITH_TABLE_DISPLAY, but I don't want a decision button.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Passing Values to a dropdown list within a dialog box

I am using the app.execDialog(dialog1) command to display a dialog box on my form. The dialog box contains dropdown list (popup). I have found examples that do this but in all the examples they reference the loadDefaults function with hardcoded values.
For example:

Does anyone know if there is a way to pass values into the loadDefaults via a variable etc.. I can get the data I want to populate the dropdown with but I cant figure out how to load it into the control.

Hi scamp, not sure what you're asking. What do you mean by "pass" fields from one list to another? If you need information in list 1 to show in list 2, just create lookup columns in the SharePoint list. If you mean you want to add columns to
list 2 automatically, you'll need to make a designer workflow for that.

Write the file types in pattern Input string, separated by a semicolon ;
For example: *.vi;*.doc;*.jpeg;*.xls
This should return the set of files with matching extensions

Hyper-V not listed in the Windows Features dialog box

Hi,
I'm trying to install Hyper-V on my Lenovo H520s and the feature is not listed in the Windows 8 features dialog box. I've confirmed that I'm running 64 bit windows, that the bios is configured to enable virtualisation etc but no joy.
Anyone any idea on what this could be?

Have you cold booted your machine since enabling VT? Some computers don't correctly report VT status to the OS until a full power off - power on sequence.
No idea if yours is one of them. Just something to check.

I contacted the IRA account managment company and they sais it's an Apple issue. Any ideas?

Some websites require a special client certficate for access. If you don't have that certficate, you'll have to contact the site operator to find out how to get one.
Sometimes the problem is caused by a web server that is configured to request an optional client certificate. Safari treats the request as mandatory. In that case, other browsers such as Firefox and Chrome may be able to connect to the site, because they ignore the request.
The first time you were prompted for a certificate, you may have clicked through a dialog that requested access to the Apple certificate in your keychain that is used to secure the iMessage service. In that case, you may be able to regain access to the site in Safari by doing as follows.
Back up all data.
Double-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Firefox download dialog box - display program list in combobox

Ever since the re installation of my OS, whenever I wanted to open a file I always had the option to choose witch program to use from a combobox in the download file dialog box (which was OK, since I use multiple programs for the same file type). But after using Firefox for a month or so it suddenly changed and now instead of the combobox i have the "browse" button. How can I set Firefox to use the combobox again?

Hyperlink Dialog box in a list being cut off

So the image is what I'm seeing when I try to edit a cell in the URL column. The left is being cutoff and the cutoff line, while it may not be that clear from the pic, is in fact the left side of the browser window. It doesn't matter what browser you use
or what zoom level the page is set to. It is cutoff all the time.
It appears to be a bug in Sharepoint but I don't know how to report it or what I could do to fix it.

According to your description, my understanding is that when you edit a hyperlink column in quick edit model, its Dialog box is cut off.
But by my test, the hyperlink Dialog box in quick edit is working fine:
Is there any custom style for your page layout? If so, please verify its "overflow" property.

Any way to see ICONS in Open and Close Dialog boxes?

Is there any way to see ICONS in Open and Close Dialog boxes, instead of just lists of items names?
I know you can preview one at a time, but I'd love to see all my artwork as picture icons, just as you can in a finder window.
Windows does this, but not OSX that I know of. Is there a third party app that enables you to see icon view in the Open and Close Dialogs?

'Save as Type' box in 'Save As' dialog box

I recently downloaded 'Rocket PDF' and now if I try to save any PDF. document, the only choices in the 'save as type' box are 'Rocket PDF' or 'All files'. No more 'Adobe Reader PDF. appears as a choice. I uninstalled 'Rocket PDF' and in the 'Default changes' I put 'Adobe Reader as the default to open 'PDF.'. Still, the only choices on the 'save as type ' are 'Rocket PDF' or 'All files'! How do I get Adobe Reader PDF' back as a choice in the 'save as type' box and delete 'Rocket PDF' as a choice?

Sorry I wasn't clear! When I try to save a 'PDF' file the "save as" dialog box opens. At the bottom the 'file name'is listed and below that it says, "save as type". You then pick what file type you want, like Adobe Reader for PDF. It used to say Adobe Reader as one of the choices but when I downloaded "Rocket PDF" it only says "Rocket PDF or "all files" as the only choices to save the document, no more Adobe Reader as a choice. I have deleted Rocket PDF and under 'default programs (Start button) I have set the "Pdf. files to open with Adobe Reader. Rocket PDF is still listed or' all files', nothing else! How can I get Adobe Reader as a choice back in the 'save as type' box?

click on apple ID listed there
select Sign Out
sign in with the proper account
from then on, when the store ask for your password it should be with the correct ID

I am using the function module F4IF_INT_TABLE_VALUE_REQUEST in screens, to implement a search help in my program , but instead of directly displaying the hit list , i want the restrictions screen to be displayed first with some default values, and the list should be displayed only based on the valuies entered in thius restrictions screen. How can i do this using this function module.
To be more precise,
i need the restrictions dialog box to be displayed and this will have 6 fields. i have to pass values to 2 fields from my program, the first field need not be filled and teh remaining fields should be left for the user to enter.
how do i achieve this?

Illustrator cc2014 open dialog box won't work yosemite

I have a Macbook Pro Retina 2014 with a fresh install of Yosemite and Creative Cloud, after a while, when I used the open dialog box for 4 or 5 times to open documents, that dialog box won't work anymore, I have to quit and reopen the Illustrator application, the shortcut won't work either. Is anybody got that problem before?
When I was on Mountain Lion, I never got this problem, I presume it's related to Yosemite.

I believe it is a bug in CC2014, appearing when you have the Illustrator open/place dialogue set to column view and sort by date or sort by kind. You may change it to view by name or list view.
