List of Oracle Lite System Tables?

Hi all,
Please help! I've failed to find any definitive list of Oracle Lite system tables. It seems incredible, but I just can't! POL__SCHEMATA is mentioned in the SQL Reference documentation, and one forum contributor has mentioned POL__PROCEDURES, POL__PROCEDURE_COLUMNS and POL__TRIGGERS. Other than that, I've found nothing and of course they're not listed in ALL_OBJECTS.
If anyone knows the full list of POL__ tables could you please post them, and tell us where the list came from if you still know. OL_ pseudo-columns would be useful to know too.
thanks,
Owen.

Do you mean something like this?

  • Read sharing violation after System.exit in oracle lite DLL

    I am using JRE 1.3 and successfully managed running some sql statements over jdbc.
    When the java class is finished (implicit exit) then no error appears.
    When I exit the code using System.exit(0) there is a windows dialog
    showing a read access error AFTER the java class finished.
    probably there is some cleanup the oracle DLL wants to do after the JVM exited?
    Please help mailto:[email protected]

    Hi
    After system copy you need to do post system copy activities...
    Please follow according to the installation Guide..
    for example: your sld connection of your new system will be pointing to your source system. So you need to go to VA where in you can find SLD Data Supplier and change the host name, port no relavent to this  i.e. your destination system...i.e.
    new system.. In the same way you can follow doing the post installation activites will solve your issue.

  • Looking for System Tables / Views like in Oracle DB - user_constraints, user_tab_columns, ...

    Hello,
    I'm looking for system tables or views like in the Oracle Database.
    First I'm looking for running /active sessions - like v$sessions or in an RAC environment gv$session
    And get the corresponding SQL from v$sql
    Second I had problems to drop tables due to constraints.
    Therefore I was looking for dba_constraints, all_constraints or user_constraints
    select * from user_constraints WHERE constraint_type in ('R');
    With that information I'm able to generate a script to drop the constraints.
    Third I want quick lookup about data types used in a table to correct my settings in Oracle BI.
    For example which column in which table of my schema uses the datatype BIGINT.
    If only 3 attributes in  two tables out of 100 use the BIGINT datatype - I'm able to quickly change my settings in the OBIEE repository.
    I'm missing a table like user_tab_columns.
    How can I get the same information out of TimesTen ?
    Thanks in advance,
    Thorsten

    Hi Thorsten,
    You should be able to get some of the information that you want from the TimesTen reports that are in SQL Developer.
    e.g.
    <TimesTen Reports -> Table -> Columns -> Columns> returns a listing of all the columns and their data types. You can order by the data type column or add a filter (say ='TT_BIGINT') to restrict the result set.
    <TimesTen Reports -> Table -> Constraints -> All Constraints / FK Constraints / PK Constraints / Unique Constraints>  returns a listing of all the constraints, their name, the table that the constraints are on, and their properties.
    For all the SQL Developer reports, you will be able to see the underlying queries and the TimesTen system tables/ views that they reference.

  • How to create a table in Oracle Lite database?

    Hi,
    I have installed SOA 10.1.3 on my laptop. Now I am trying to create a table in the database to do some own examples. I have problem in installing oracle database. So I am trying to create a table in Oracle Lite database which comes with SOA suite. I am not able to do it, can some body suggest me please?
    Regards

    HI James,
    Thank you so much. I am able to create table and insert rows and able to select them too. However I am not able to use these tables in my BPEL process for my practice. The DB adapter is throwing some error, any idea?

  • How to hide system tables when using the Oracle SQL Developer?

    Hi,
    I would like to know how can I show only the tables that I created under the Tables tree? I didnt find a way to create a separate database using the Oracle Sql Developer. I see all the tables together, and would like to differentiate between different databases.
    Can anyone explain to me how to do these things?
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    I would like to know how can I show only the tables that I created under the Tables tree? Your posting is not clear,again tell something more on tables tree,what u want to achieve with it.
    How to hide system tables when using the Oracle SQL Developer? if u connected with sys, system or user with dba role then u have a privilege to see these tables,so revoke the privilege/role from ur user to view this tables if ur connected other then sys,system,
    I didnt find a way to create a separate database using the Oracle Sql Developer. DBCA is a tool for creating the new database.

  • Creating table in oracle lite 10g

    Hi,
    I believe the following is the way to create a database table in Jdeveloper 10g and Oracle BPEL process Manager 10.1.3.1.0
    1.Created bpel project--> right click project ---> create schema---> right click schema---> create table(completed the wizard and created schema and table)
    2.Right click schema ---> new---> database tier---> offline database objects ----> SQL generated from offline database objects(and then complete the wizard)
    If the above is the correct approach to create the table, then I am facing two situations.
    a. In the project properties(offline database), if the 'database to emulate' is set to oracle lite 10g release 1, then "SQL generated from offline database objects" option is not enabled to choose in the step 2 above. So I cannot proceed further.
    b. If the 'database to emulate' is set to oracle database 10g release 2 (this is default), "SQL generated from offline database objects" in step 2 is enabled, but in the wizard that follows, when I tick 'perform operation against the database' it asks me for oracle database connection settings. But I only have the Oracle 10g Lite version and not Oracle database 10g. So I am not able proceed further.
    All I need is to create tables in the Oracle Lite database that I have.
    Any help on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

  • Oracle LIte Conflict data table details Needed

    Hai,
    I have a new requirement from client that we have to send mail to user all conflict information between oracle lite and main database after synchronisation. We have taken publication and conclict table details from mobileadmin.C$EQ and wants to know which database table should be used for taking field wise details.
    Regards, Palani.R.

    What do you mean by conflict?
    The publication items will by default have a conflict type of 'server wins' or 'client wins'. This comes into play where updates have happened on both the server and the client, and in these cases the rule will be followed, the data updated accordingly and nothing is stored.
    If there is an ERROR in the upload processing, then the entire transaction will be put into the error queue (C$EQ), which sounds like what you are looking at.
    C$EQ will have a record for each record in the upload transaction, but the first one to cause an error will have the message text as not null (there may be other errors behind this, but only the first one is updated).
    If what you are trying to do is send an email when a transaction errors, then i would suggest you
    select the user (clientid), transaction (tranid$$) and message_text (this is the actual error) from c$eq
    to get the related table then
    select pub.owner||'.'||pub.store
    from c$all_publications pub
    ,c$eq eq
    where pub.name=eq.publication
    This is the schema and object name of the server table the data is going to. The actual error queue table is
    select pub.owner||'.CEQ$'||pub.store
    from c$all_publications pub
    ,c$eq eq
    where pub.name=eq.publication
    ie: object name prefixed by CEQ$ sitting in the main schema
    If you want the actual column data, then just use all tab columns inside a bit of dynamic SQL

  • Run queries against system tables for oracle BPEL processes

    I want to run queries against system tables for oracle BPEL processes. It is becoming very difficult for me to us EM as it is very slow,
    and not all the time, it is sufficient for our needs.
    We are doing load testing and we want find out info like how many requests came in and how many faulted and what time is taken by each request...
    So do any of you have the query that I can use and tables that I need to go against?

    Use the BPEL hydration database table "cube_instance".
    There should be plenty of example in the forum regarding this table.

    Hi,
    This seems to be a dicitionary corruption. Its better if you consult your DBA.
    If you are a DBA in your project then post the below output
    select object_name, owner, object_type from dba_objects where object_name = 'USER_OBJECTS';
    set long 4000
    select dbms_metadata.get_ddl('VIEW','USER_OBJECTS','SYS') from dual;Regards

  • Versioned tables and Oracle Lite

    Is it possible to use versioned tables in Oracle Lite snapshots?
    I would like to use both these features in my application:
    Workspace Manager - history and long transaction support
    Oracle Lite/Mobile server - support and synchronization in mobile clients.
    Thanks
    Ondrej

    Again not sure if this will be useful for you. You can put all the data back into a workspace from Olite and then diff that workspace with its parent workspace. That will tell you all the rows that have been changed in the child workspace.
    So, the way I see this work, extract data from a workspace onto Olite. Make changes to the extracted data. And then merge back ALL the extracted data (because you do not know what has been changed). And then rely on workspace manager diff view to tell you what has changed.
    Does this help?
    regards
    Arun

  • Converting between tables in an Oracle Lite Database

    We have a standalone application that uses Oracle Lite. A requirement we have from a new customer is to use their Oracle Lite database structure or to come up with a mechanism that sends the data between the 2 different structures.
    Both the structures reside in the same database.
    Initial thoughts were to write triggers on both structures that convert the data or to use XML / XSL and treat them as seperate apps.
    However, I'm wondering if there is a different way. Do Oracle provide any tools that can help with mapping between 2 different structures that hold the same domain data?
    Anyone got any better ideas?

  • Trouble to connect to Oracle Lite with JDBC

    Hi.
    I have installed Oracle Lite 9i on my PC (Win 2000 Pro). Then I connected an HP Jornada 525 (WinCE 3.0) and with
    ActiveSync I installed the Oracle Mobile Client. Using MSql, I created some tables and did some data inserts - Oracle
    is working fine on the Pocket PC. The next step was to create an Java application that will run on the Jornada to
    connect to this database and edit its data. Here is the initial source code:
    import java.sql.*;
    public class JDBCEX {
    public void JDBCEX () {
    public static void main(String args[]) {
    Connection conn = null;
    Statement stmt = null;
    ResultSet retset = null;
    try {
    Class.forName("oracle.lite.poljdbc.POLJDBCDriver");
    conn = DriverManager.getConnection("jdbc:Polite:Polite","system", "manager");
    catch (Exception e) {
    System.out.println(e);
    System.exit(0);
    This works fine on my PC, but in the Pocket PC it gave me: java.sql.SQLException: Internal Error. This after I expanded
    the jar files, 'cause before it tells me that ther is no oljdbc40 on the shared library path. I adjusted the classpath on the
    registry, but i does not have any impact ... There is no file with name oljdbc40, only JARs olite40 and olitejdbc40. I installed
    olitejdbcpj40.jar, and setting this library leads to the same error above.
    What could be wrong? Do you have any tutorial or can you list all steps necessary to bring this working?
    Thanks

    If you're attempting to use the ODBC API directly, have you downloaded the ODBC SDK from Microsoft? That will include some sample code, which is a great starting point. So far as I'm aware, you shouldn't need to configure anything in Borland C++ that you don't have to configure in any other C++ compiler to use ODBC.

    Another interesting thing I noticed is if I run oldes.exe from Installation CD, the Oracle Lite Designer runs fine, and without error, I'm able to modify tables in the database of my laptop also.
    Could someone shade some light on what am I doing wrong here ?

  • Views in Oracle Lite on Win32 Client

    Hi,
    I've created an Oracle Forms application to work with Oracle Lite on the Win32 Client. When creating the application using wtgpack on the Mobile Server, I successfully created snapshots for the 7 tables in the database. After synchronization (msync), all 7 tables are created in the client's Lite database and all data are available. The Oracle Forms application works perfectly.
    BUT: I have to add a view now, a very simple one, joining 2 of the 7 tables. I created this view in the Server database, and tried to use wtgpack to force the view creation on the client's Lite database. When selecting Web-to-Go in wtgpack's "Available Platform" window, a "DDL" tab appears. But my application isn't Web-to-Go platform, but Win32 only. The "DLL" tab is not available when selecting Win32 as platform. How can I force wtgpack to add my view to the application?
    I tried to add the view definition to the "dlls.sql" file in the \repository\app\sql directory .. but the client doesn't get it.
    I tried to create a snapshot in wtgpack (because when using "import" it only shows tables, not views) and type the view definition there .. but the client doesn't get it too.
    Any ideas how the view can be created on the client's Lite database?
    Thanks in advance!
    Dirk

    Dirk
    You dont need to do anything on the lite database.
    Here are the steps for pulling the data from enterprise database.
    1. Install the client -win32 sdk on the client machine. This is used to access lite database because it installs msql, lite drivers etc.

    3. Generate the Jar file using wtgpack
    4. Publish the jar file in the mobile server.
    5. Create some users and give access to this application.
    6. Access the server from ur machine: http://[mobileserveripaddress]/setup
    7. Download the Mobile Client for Web-to-Go
    8. Run the setup.exe
    9. Enter using the username, password given to access this application.
    10. Click sync on the menu
    It automatically creates the database and pulls all the data.
    You dont need to do anything.
    Access the database from msql like this:
    msql system/[password]@polite:[urdatabase]
    or
    msql system/[password]@polite:[DSN]
    DSN gets created automatically. check ur ODBC settings.(enter odbcad32 on ur command prompt to see these settings)
    Refer the documentation..sometimes its hazy but its easy once we do it...
    happy weekend....
